That was terrible. Dumb. Just terrible.
I was hoping for Dennis Stamp.

Yeah, WTF was that!?!
I know I have said this before but I had hopes for TNA when Aces & Eights started but they have gone downhill fast and each week it just seems to get worse. I'm getting this sense that Viacom/Spike is interfering thinking they have the solution to higher ratings. It's now clear that Aces & Eights are on their way out and TNA is ushering in an age of MMA has beens and never will bes who have no clue how to wrestle.
I am thinking Tito acts as ref for the loser leaves TNA match which has Knux pinned. It's either that or Tito double crosses Rampage (since they are fighting MMA in November). Who else would TNA have leaving soon?

It'd be nice if Brisco and Bischoff somehow got simultaneously pinned.

big letdown once again from tna. the build up did not live up to the unveiling of the mystery man. with all the actual wrestling talent out there they deliver tito. if that is the best they got its not good for tna. awhile back I actually was enjoying tna a lot more than the wwe based on in ring product. then the aces and eights came in and actually made it even better. now that is stale and the writers seem lossed. the mafia was half ass put together by sting consisting of the people he was complaining about not having his back against bully. so what does he do, naturally forms a stable with the same people. way to go tna writers. with things like this going on sadly tna will not survive. maybe they need to hire crimson cross, cruefan68, sinclair promotions, or switch-truth to name only a few. seeing what these guys do on here they could do a hell of a lot better job than those tna has writing for them now.

Honestly, if they didn't have a week of buildup to Tito's reveal it might not have seemed so bad but as it was fans were expecting something cool and got something really, really lame. Even Tito didn't know what he was supposed to do out there. He just walked out and stood there while MEM and Aces & Eights members didn't know how they were supposed to react.
TNA right now reaks of having too many cooks in the kitchen. For a while they seemed to have long term planning going on and now it is like stories are being written on a week to week basis.
I have to wonder if there is even 1 person out there going "Man, I can't believe Tito Ortiz is in TNA. That is so awesome!"

This is what CWFH's Tito Escondido said about it on Facebook: "wrong Tito TnA! i'll be expecting my email by the end of the day"

I think people made this bigger than it was going into Impact. Seeing as they had nothing in advance on their actual show and only a week of online stuff I was figuring a mid card story line. Once news stared to break it might be Tito I was like meh whatever. Did not expect a big thing either way and that is what I got. The days of a real shock are pretty much long gone. Most fans are connected to the internet and if not reading the dirt sheets probably talk to someone who is. Plus they know about the 90 day no TV compete clause. So even if someone big from WWE was to come, or even RoH for that matter, we would know way in advance. So while we would be happy we would not be shocked.
As for the talk of MMA guys, wrestling has a history of taking other athletes and making them wrestlers. From MMA we have Shamrock and Severn plus you could kind of include the returning Lesner. From football there is The Rock, Luger, Simmons and Goldberg to name just a few. As it is the MMA guys are for now mostly cross promotion with Bellator. Mo and Rampage, not including Tito cause he is not really gonna wrestle I think, might turn out decent or even good...down the road. But at the least they open the idea for other MMA guys to look to wrestling when they decide they are done with MMA.
