How dare Japanese legends not lend out their likenesses out of the goodness of their hearts! Seriously, though, that sucks. I could really do something with KENTA, Kojima, or Tanahashi. As could I, bud. That's why I did bootlegs of them, the chances of us seeing them are greater than the chances of getting someone like Hogan. Hogan's an obvious get if you can get him, I doubt FG are going to go out of their way for KENTA, Kojima or Tanahashi because the money those three would want (especially Tanahashi) would make their (and our) heads spin. Then add in how Bushiroad is signing EVERY major star over there (Everyone in New Japan, as well as about every Japanese legend you can possibly imagine outside of Inoki and a select few) plus pretty much plus a ton of gaijin legends (Scott Norton, Vader, Stan Hansen) and current gaijin (Lance Hoyt, Harry Smith) for their own card game and the guys get paid well off of that, the odds of us getting any of those guys is pretty much gone. A note I want everyone here to think about because it's really been bugging me lately - How could Tom release Sayama and Yamada as Tiger Mask and Liger? Those guys don't even own those gimmicks, the companies that created them do! I mean, they got released in the same set that they used Billy and Road Dogg but gave them their TNA names. Why not switch them around for the Japanese guys too? Everyone's going to know who they are anyways. I think FG have been very fortunate that nobody in Japan has smartened up to this kind of stuff because the way the Japanese are with the unlicensed use of copyrighted materials now (there's a reason we haven't seen a new Fire Pro Wrestling game since 2005), FG could get beat up pretty badly over releasing those cards. That said, the last name is Mongo McMichael. Trust me guys, I know things. Do not take this at 100% whatsoever, because I have no knowledge of it, but you read things here and there are draw your own conclusions If you are familiar with those in wrestling circles, you may have heard of Mike Lano. While a great wrestling "historian", he's also an odd dude. Again, just my take, but thinking he was more important than he thought, he told Tom its ok to use them...but... Again, that's just me

Three is good. Plenty of room for a tag team or a main eventer.

I don't mean this to be a dick or anything but how do you know so much about the backroom dealings of this Japanese card game, how much guys are getting paid and how much FG is willing or not willing to pay guys?

The point about Mike Lano is what I heard way back that he said it was alright to do those early Japanese cards. Pretty much agree with the other points that have been made here too.

People talk about a Mongo card like it would be a horrible thing. I liked Mongo. Was he the best wrestler ever? No. But I enjoyed him for what he was, and getting a card for him may well sell me this set, which I probably wouldn't buy otherwise.
Yes, I'm 100 percent serious. Guy was closer to success in the business than any of us are likely to ever be. He deserves that much respect.

I don't mean this to be a dick or anything but how do you know so much about the backroom dealings of this Japanese card game, how much guys are getting paid Because I know people who work for Bushiroad, the company that makes the game? and how much FG is willing or not willing to pay guys? Because it was mentioned on here that Manami Toyota wanted too much money. Now, Toyota is a big star but NOWHERE near the level of the top level Japanese guys. If SHE wanted too much money, THEY are going to want too much money.
