Aceldemas, I just read your Tournament of Death results. I especially liked Nick Mondo winning the tournament (he made it to the finals of my recent TOD) and the Devon Moore Invitational Drunken Scaffold match. Great stuff! Thanks Vegas! I had the vibe that Lucky might win out but Mondo is the legend. This is the second year that a non roster entrant has won ToD. Last year was Jon Moxley. The scaffold match was a hoot! You came up with a wild one there! I enjoyed how Devon Moore was mostly directing traffic until he decided to take it home. Fun stuff!

July 11, 2015 2300 Arena Philadelphia, PA Pre-show video footage As final preparations were made for the show to begin, DJ Hyde was talking with his director of operations Maven Bentley. They were interrupted by Matt Tremont who looked like he has been laboring. “Alright, DJ. All of the chairs are set up and we’re ready to go. I still have a little time to prepare for my match. Who’s my opponent?” Hyde was not happy about the interruption. “You don’t have one. Everyone is booked in matches already.”“Well, can you make one of them a three-way or something? Give me something, man.”“Matt, you’re not wrestling tonight. We had a deal. Are you a man of your word? Then live with it. Maybe next month.”Tremont looked on edge but remained calm and nodded his head. He left and DJ gave a big grin to Maven who seemed uncomfortable with the situation. Sozio def. Joker by pin DJ Hyde had tasked Sozio and The Front to “take care of” BLKOUT. This was the first sanctioned confrontation between the two sides. An early exchange of counters ended up in Sozio’s favor and he tried to end it with Curtains. Joker kicked out and Sozio upped the ante by going for Bam-Mar-Chair-A. Joker rolled out of the way of the diving stomp with a chair and took over, slamming Sozio hard to the mat with a Magnitude Bomb. The two battled back and forth including some action on the floor. Sozio brought it to a close with Curtains. A figure that seemed familiar to some of the fans ran down to the ring and began pounding on the prone Joker. Sozio urged him on and the rest of The Front blocked BLK Jeez and Ruckus when they came out to help their BLKOUT partner. Sozio gave them an Italian hand gesture with a flick of his chin. Jeez and Ruckus busted through Sozio’s lackeys and Sozio and his new man vacated, having done their damage. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPGreg Excellent def. Alex Colon(c) by pin Colon had some difficulty with Excellent’s size. Greg gave the Wired champ multiple piledriver variations including an Excellent Driver for a two count. Alex used his quickness and an array of kicks to even the odds. Even though he was successful in cutting the bigger man down to size, Colon’s offense didn’t pack enough punch to finish him. Excellent drove Alex hard into the mat with an STO and hit him with a frightening cross body from the middle rope. Alex avoided pins until Greg gave him a Tiger Driver to become the new Wired Champion. Front promo Sozio - “Ha, ha, ha! BLKOUT, you thought you could come in here and force the company to bend to your will? Think again. You’re like a union shop going on strike. We have ways of convincing scum like you to fall in line. We do this kind of stuff all the time. And when we have a tough nut to crack, we call in a fixer. This is the Chainsaw. I think you can tell by his name what he’s good at. Tearing people up. You’ll get another demonstration later tonight. Your days are numbered BLKOUT. You crossed the boss, now it’s time to pay the piper.” MASADA def. Joe Gacy w/Sozio by DQ It was clear to everyone, once he was announced, that Sozio’s new man was CZW-alum Joe Gacy. It was a very scrappy start for these two with MASADA going for the first pin after a MASADAmizer. The fight left the ring and Gacy crushed MASADA in the corner of the railing with a cannonball. They battled more on the floor and MASADA once again hit the MASADAmizer. Sozio grabbed the ref’s leg before he could make the count. Dishing out more punishment, another MASADAmizer followed for a near fall. Gacy reversed his fortunes by posting MASADA then giving him a backdrop driver that nearly resulted in a pin. A Top Rope Splash also came up just short of a three count. This time MASADA used the post to turn the tide and Joe came up bloody. MASADA dropped Gacy on the floor with a brainbuster and he needed Sozio’s assistance to beat the ref’s count. It looked over with a Skullf*cka Buster and Sozio entered the ring on his man’s behalf, nailing MASADA with The Yakuza Kick. This resulted in a disqualification. Commentator Dan Cowhey commented that Gacy may be a Chainsaw but MASADA was “The Ultraviolent Beast” and if you play his game, you usually lose. Beaver Boys def. A.R. Fox & Shane Strickland by pin This non-title match was the first time Alex Reynolds and John Silver had teamed in the Combat Zone. Reynolds and Fox traded back and forth. Silver tagged in and went crazy, charging Fox with clotheslines and running European uppercuts. Alex tagged back in and the Beaver Boys combined for Double Penetration, pinning Fox. With this easy defeat of the CZW World Tag-Team Champions, a title match was sure to be in the future for the Beaver Boys. CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPDanny Havoc def. Drew Gulak(c) w/Kimber Lee by pin Gulak’s first title defense saw Havoc open with strikes but then he out-grappled Drew as well. Danny went for Total Havoc but barely got a two count. He followed up with General Order 24 with the same result. Kimber Lee calmly watched from Gulak’s corner. Drew took over after bashing Danny into the ringside barrier. After doing some damage, Drew put Danny in the Gu-Lock but Havoc immediately grabbed the ropes. Drew tried pushing his advantage but Danny hit a DDT from out of nowhere and hooked a leg as he made the cover. Gulak put a foot on the bottom rope but Kimber Lee knocked it off at the last moment. The fall was counted and Danny Havoc was the new CZW champion. Gulak was bewildered for a moment but Kimber Lee’s betrayal dawned on him when he saw the smile on her face. He vowed to make her pay. Nation of Intoxication promo Devon Moore - “Congrats, brother! It’s been a long time coming!”Danny Havoc - “Thanks. But we still have business tonight. Time for a little payback on BLKOUT. And if OI4K get in your way…”Devon - “Don’t worry. If those punks stick their nose in our business, we’ll break it for them.”Lucky tHURTeen - “BLKOUT, OI4K, The Nation’s rising to new heights and you’re in our way!” OI4K promo Jake Crist - “Danny Havoc, I don’t know what you’re problem with us is. You say we haven’t had your back because on one night we left early to get back home to Ohio? Sorry you feel that way but we’re not your 24/7 guardian angels.”Dave Crist - “Nation of Intoxication, I hope you’re gonna be cool tonight in our three way match with BLKOUT. They’re the problem. Don’t make it about us. Because if you want to fight us, remember - Ohio... is... for killers.”3-Way EliminationOI4K def. BLKOUT & Nation of Intoxication BLKOUT had major heat with both of the other teams but were aware that the other teams were not on the best of terms. Two men in the ring at a time, BLK Jeez started out against Jake Crist. OI4K went for Irish Coffee right away, getting a two count on Jeez. The Crists continued the double teaming with Jake using The Suicide for a pin attempt. Irish Coffee again and Jeez was in a lot trouble. Superkick by Dave Crist and Jeez was down for the three count. BLKOUT were eliminated without much of a fight. Lucky tHURTeen stepped in for the Nation. He had a can of beer in his hand and took a swig then offered it to Dave. As Crist reached to accept it, Lucky punched him. Dave took a German suplex and scrambled to tag in his brother. Lucky got decked by a spinning wheel kick and tagged in Devon Moore. Devon and Jake had words for each other. A double team attack by OI4K sent Devon out of the ring. Dave hit an incredible springboard moonsault to the floor and Moore struggled to get back in the ring. OI4K hammered Devon with an Irish Air Raid and Lucky had to make the save. Moore was in the same predicament as Jeez, getting steamrolled by the teamwork of OI4K. He kicked out after The Suicide from Jake. Some more double teaming by the Crists and another Suicide put Moore down for the count as Dave speared Lucky, preventing the save. OI4K looked impressive as hell. CZW Rankings- Danny Havoc
- Drew Gulak
- Greg Excellent
- Alex Colon
- Lucky tHURTeen
- Jake Crist
- Devon Moore

Very cool that Havoc took the title from Gulak, but not so sure that NOI have their collective head on straight... Waging war on two different fronts is never a smart way to go... Especially when you're talking about opposition like BLKOut and OI4K...
Sozio has found himself a man that's more than capable, as Gacy proved against Masada... Exciting addition to the roster...
Also impressed with the Beaver Boys non-title victory over Fox & Strickland... Hoping to see them get a shot at the belts in the not too distant future...
Fun stuff!

Heads on straight? Look who we're talking about here... Sozio has one more fixer debuting on the next show. Then things get ugly. Beaver Boys are a fun team and I expect they'll be giving the champs a good run for their money in the main event of the next card. Thanks for the comments!

August 8, 2015 Flyers Skate Zone Voorhees, NJ Alex Colon def. Matt Tremont by DQ According to the deal Tremont made with CZW owner DJ Hyde, he was relegated to the ring crew and only allowed to be in the opening match if there was an opening on the show. Tonight he was fortunate, as Colon was without an opponent. Matt put his size advantage to good use and tried to get the fast win with a Uranage. Alex kicked out and had to again after a frog splash and a second Uranage. A third Uranage and Colon still kicked out. Frustrated, Tremont took the fight to the floor where he ended up eating the post. Colon got some shots in but Tremont turned it up a notch by putting Colon through a table. DJ Hyde came out and ordered the ref to disqualify Matt. The crowd voiced its ire but Hyde didn’t care. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPMASADA def. Greg Excellent(c) by pin MASADA had trouble with Greg’s size at first but it wasn’t a factor when he powerbombed the big man to once again become the Wired champion. Drew Gulak promo“Danny Havoc, you should consider yourself lucky. If it wasn’t for that traitorous little… Mmmnn. I am going to keep my composure. Kimber Lee, I brought you into the Combat Zone and I can just as easily take you out. I will have retribution. But first I want the CZW World Heavyweight Championship back. I showed DJ Hyde the tape from last month and that my foot was clearly on the rope when Danny Havoc pinned me. He has agreed that I deserve a rematch and tonight, Danny Havoc, I will be getting back what is rightfully mine!” Joker def. Joe Gacy by count out Joker of BLKOUT was looking for payback after The Front’s Gacy attacked him last month. Joker took the first couple of bumps from Gacy but then viciously fired back, getting a near fall with a Joker Driver. Joker really lit up Gacy in the ring and out and, surprisingly, the fans were getting behind the “Cambodian Axe Murderer”. Gacy wore down his opponent with The Mangler before going for a pair of Top Rope Splashes that failed to put Joker away. Joker performed a Cambodian Cannonball on Gacy who was seated on a chair in the corner of the barrier. The chair was destroyed and the guardrail came apart. “Chainsaw” tried a comeback but Joker cut him off and destroyed another chair when he heaved Gacy into the corner of the guardrails with a Magnitude Bomb. Joe was obliterated and Joker left him to be counted out of the ring. After the bell, Joker inflicted more damage to Gacy until being chased off by members of The Front. OI4K def. Nation of Intoxication by pin Tensions had been building between these two popular teams with the Crists dominating the Nation last month during a three team contest. Devon Moore and Lucky tHURTeen wanted a chance to redeem themselves in a straight two-on-two match. Moore got the better of Dave in a mini spotfest. Lucky tagged in and nearly took the fall with a crucifix. Lucky isolated Dave from tagging in his brother but Dave reversed off the ropes with a DDT and made the hot tag to Jake. The two traded offense until Jake planted Lucky with The Suicide for a short two count. OI4K then combine for Irish Coffee for the win. NOI had a better showing this time out but still came up short and their frustration showed. Sozio & Chris Dickinson def. BLKOUT by pin The BLKOUT/Front war continued to heat up as Sozio introduced another one of his fixers, The Dirty Daddy. Dickinson started out against BLK Jeez and showcased his strength with a brutal falcon arrow. Taking Jeez out to the floor, Chris blasted him with a chair shot across the back. The ref was close to disqualifying him but Sozio had some words for the official who backed off. Dickinson crushed Jeez with a Burning Hammer but postured too much, allowing Ruckus to tag in. Dickinson pounded Ruckus with strikes and suplexes before tagging in Sozio. The leader of the Front came off the top rope with a Bam-Mar-Chair-A chair stomp on Ruckus. The ref got in Sozio’s face threatening a disqualification but Sozio again warned him to reconsider. This gave Ruckus some time to recover and hit Sozio with a Chronic Crash. The pin attempt only amounted to a one count but, more importantly, it afforded Ruckus a chance to tag out. Jeez came in only to take punishment from Sozio with Dickinson tagging back in. The Dirty Daddy with a Burning Hammer for the pin. Joker came out and attacked Dickinson with a nightstick. Chris was knocked out cold and Sozio was chased from the ring. The rest of The Front appeared and there was a standoff until CZW officials could clear everyone out. Dickinson had to be carried out by members of The Front. CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPDanny Havoc(c) def. Drew Gulak by count out Gulak had the early upper hand for this rematch in a bid to win back the CZW title. He used a sharpshooter to effectively control Havoc. Danny turned the tide and tried twice unsuccessfully to pin Drew with General Order 24. The two battled outside of the ring, each going through a table and Gulak getting color off a shot into the ring post. Havoc used his Total Havoc brainbuster to a chair from the ring apron to take out Gulak who was counted out of the ring. CZW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPBeaver Boys def. A.R. Fox & Shane Strickland(c) by pin Last month, the Beaver Boys owned Fox and Strickland. With the titles on the line this time, the champs had to up their game. Fox was all over Alex Reynolds at the bell and Alex had to make an early tag to John Silver. The pint-sized powerhouse took over but Fox caught him with a acrobatic kick as he came off the top rope. Fox came up short on the pin attempt and tagged in Strickland. Silver bounced back, cutting Strickland off and tagging Reynolds back in. Alex worked on Shane, looking for a submission with Reynold’s Wrap. The Beaver Boys utilized double teaming with Dat Crazy Combo and Reynold’s got a two count on Strickland. Shane was in trouble and barely kicked out after Double Penetration. The Beaver’s teamwork was off the charts, really taking it to Strickland. Silver hit double knees to the chest on Shane in the corner once, twice, but went to the barrel one time too many as Strickland moved. A missile dropkick to Silver cleared the path for Strickland to tag in Fox. “The Whole Foxin’ Show” got some offense in but didn’t fair much better against the tag team artistry of his opponents. He survived Double Penetration three times to pull off a 450 Splash hope spot but was done in by The Spin Doctor with Silver getting the pin. The Beaver Boys were the new CZW World Tag-Team Champions in dominant fashion! CZW Rankings- Danny Havoc

As usual, the excitement in the Combat Zone was off the charts... Very cool that Havoc was able to silence the arrogant Gulak and remain World champion... And the feud between BLKOUT and the Front continues to bring the heat...
But, is anything sweeter than watching the Beaver Boys claim tag team gold... Reynolds and Silver obviously work hard to entertain and it's awesome that their skills have been recognized...
Excellent stuff!

September 12, 2015 Flyers Skate Zone Voorhees, NJ CZW owner DJ Hyde opened the show with the annual dedication to CZW’s fallen brothers, Brain Damage, Trent Acid, JC Bailey, and Chri$ Ca$h. Shane Strickland def. Greg Excellent by pin It looked like Excellent was going to smother his smaller opponent and use piledrivers to render him unconscious but Strickland fought back with kicks and stomps. With the big man teetering, Shane took to the air with his offense setting Greg up for a 450 Splash that only got a two count. Excellent beat up Strickland some at ringside and tried to finish it with a Tiger Driver. That didn’t work and Strickland made another comeback, pinning Greg after a moonsault dive. Shane Strickland promo“Greg Excellent, you’re a big man and it took everything I had to beat you. It was a test that I had to pass to know I was ready to get back into singles competition. It’s time to get my Swerve back on.”Alex Colon came to the ring and complained about how wrestlers like him are always being overlooked in the Combat Zone and how guys like Danny Havoc and MASADA are always the ones getting title matches. The crowd was chanting “Shut the F- Up!” when CZW World Heavyweight Champion Danny Havoc came out. Danny talked to ring announcer Emil J. who announced that if Alex wanted to lose to Havoc one more time, he could have a title shot right now. The jumpy Colon accepted. CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPAlex Colon def. Danny Havoc(c) by pin Colon viciously attacked at the bell. Danny struggled for a few minutes but raised a boot as Alex charged him in the corner and went for Total Havoc. Colon barely kicked out. The two battled back and forth on the floor and once back in the ring, Havoc used General Order 24 for another near fall. Before long, Colon was really going to town on the champion and nearly pinned him with the Done Deal. A second Done Deal. Kick out. Shuffle kick and a three count. New CZW Champion! Alex Colon promo“That’s right! Alex Colon, CZW World Heavyweight Champion. All I needed was a chance to prove that not only am I a better wrestler than any of these death match guys, I’m straight up a better fighter! A lot of people have been saying this belt has been like a hot potato lately. Well, around the waist of a guy as cool as me, it’s going no place.”Drew Gulak def. Kimber Lee by submission Kimber Lee was partly responsible for Gulak losing the CZW title and now he was looking for revenge. Kimber agreed to meet him in the ring, fueled by Drew’s blatant disregard for her contributions to his recent success. Kimber’s shine was short lived as Gulak went to work putting her through a series of submission holds. Drew stretched her for quite a while before she finally gave up to a sharp shooter. Drew disdainfully glared at her before leaving to a chorus of boos. Drew Gulak promo“Now that I’ve disposed of the traitor in my midst, I can once again concentrate on showing everyone in the Combat Zone who the superior grappler is. I don’t care who has the gold, Danny Havoc, Alex Colon, MASADA, any of you. At the end of the day, you will learn that I am your better.”CZW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPBeaver Boys(c) def. BLKOUT by submission BLK Jeez and John Silver started for their teams and had a good exchange before Alex Reynolds tagged in at put Jeez in the Reynold’s Wrap. Alex continued to work the hold, making Jeez tap out before his partner Ruckus even saw any action. The win cemented the fact the the Beavers were the real deal. Beaver Boys promoJohn Silver - “YEEEEAAAHHH!!! We’re the champs, baby!”Alex Reynolds - “As my partner so enthusiastically put it, we’re the best team here in CZW and we just proved it once again. I hear that the winners of tonight’s main event will get the next shot at our titles. OI4K, Nation of Intoxication? We’ll be ready and waiting.”John - “Uah, uah! Look at these biceps, boys! I’m pumped!”CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPA.R. Fox def. MASADA(c) by pin Fox’s first move was a mistake, trying to muscle MASADA up for a brainbuster. MASADA kicked him in the chest and brutally slammed Fox to the mat with a powerbomb and covered him for a 2 ¾ count. This was a relatively even contest with Fox’s agility being the difference. A 450 Splash by Fox made him the new Wired champion. Sozio def. Joker by count out Last month at Retribution, Joker put both of Sozio’s fixers, The Chainsaw and The Dirty Daddy, on the shelf. The leader of the Front was going to have to do his own dirty work against BLKOUT’s “Cambodian Axe Murderer”. Some roundhouse kicks and The Yakuza Kick led to an early pin attempt for Sozio. Joker kicked out but took The Yakuza Kick again, kicking out even sooner this time. Sozio continued the attack and Joker ended up on the floor where members of The Front jumped him as Sozio kept the ref distracted. The ref began the count on Joker outside of the ring and it was clear that The Front had rendered him unconscious and he was counted out. It looked like Sozio and The Front was going to finish the job but BLK Jeez and Ruckus came to Joker’s rescue. Front promoSozio - “BLK Jeez. Joker. Ruckus. Your time is just about up. The curtain is going to close on the BLKOUT era. This was your one chance to take me out because next month my boys are back. The Dirty Daddy is coming for you Jeez. And Joker, next month, The Chainsaw is taking you out in the Tangled Web match. This is The Front’s locker room now. And we’re weeding out the undesirables.” CHRI$ CA$H MEMORIAL LADDER MATCHNation of Intoxication def. OI4K This was to be the blow off of the rivalry between these two teams with the bonus of the winner receiving a title shot at the Beaver Boys for the CZW World Tag Team Championship. CZW Director of Operation Maven Bentley brought out a clipboard with a contract on it to be the prize suspended from the top of the ladder. Devon Moore told him to get the clipboard out of here and that they would use his beaver. With that, he pulled a stuffed toy beaver out of his tights. Jake and Dave Crist got a kick out of it and agreed to use it instead of the clipboard. The opening action spotlighted Lucky tHURTeen and Dave Crist. Dave was first to set up a ladder and climb for the prize. Lucky met him at the top and they furiously traded fists. Lucky ended up pulling Dave off the ladder. Lucky set up a table at ringside and suplexed Dave through it. Devon Moore took over for his partner but the Crists double teamed him to take the advantage. Jake made a climb on the ladder but Devon stopped him. OI4K crushed Moore with Irish Coffee and Dave started up the ladder. Dave was unsuccessful a couple of times as Devon knocked him from the ladder each time. Moore pulled Dave to the outside and Lucky flew over the top rope, wiping Dave out with a Fosbury Flop. Jake tried to get another ladder from the floor but Lucky stopped him. Lucky set the ladder up between the apron and the guardrail and crunched Jake on it with a senton. Lucky took it to both Crist brothers for a bit but they overwhelmed him and used used Irish Coffee on him. Jake climbed the ladder but Moore tipped it, sending Jake crashing to the floor. Lucky set the ladder back up and went for it. Dave stopped him before he could reach the top. Lucky tried again and Dave tipped the ladder, dumping him into the front row of fans. Dave and Devon had an epic struggle up and down the ladder, both taking big bumps but Crist took the worst of it. Lucky returned and took over for Moore. Dave and Lucky battled until Jake got back into it. Jake went up the ladder again and Lucky tipped him, this time dropping him through a stack of tables. The remainder of the match was between Lucky and Jake with Lucky eventually prevailing after trading punches at the top of the ladder. Jake splatted on the mat and Lucky grabbed the stuffed beaver hanging from the rafters and celebrated by rubbing it against his crotch. OI4K had the momentum going into this match but it was NOI winning in the end and earning a tag team title shot. CZW Rankings- Alex Colon

Snap! The Beaver Boys just erased any doubt of whether they're worthy of wearing the tag straps... Jeez and Ruckus are not a team to be taken lightly and they got taken down like they were standing still...
BUT, the tag champs better get ready because their toughest challenge to date is coming down the pipe... NOI wins a hard fought and highly entertaining (love the 'beaver' spots) ladder match in the main event to become number one contenders...
Congrats to Colon on becoming champion, but he should watch his words... I've gotta feeling that belt isn't done jumping around... On the other hand, I could see Fox having a decent run as Wired champion...
Well worth the wait, my friend... Awesome work!

Pariah - Your insights on the CZW champions are sound. All three title holders face tough challenges this show. Let's see how the fare... October 10, 2015 Flyers Skate Zone Voorhees, NJ New CZW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Colon came out to gloat and the crowd jeered him so much he had trouble being heard. Colon managed to get out a few remarks about how the fans were mad that he always beats their “deathmatch guys” like Danny Havoc and MASADA. Speaking of the devil, he appeared, as MASADA’s music played and the “Ultraviolent Beast” came out. He got in the ring and came face to face with Colon and said some things to him that could not be heard over the “F- him up, MASADA! F- him up!” chant. Colon backed off and looked like he was going to retreat. MASADA smirked and turned to leave but Colon attacked him from behind. Referee Nick Papagiorgio raced to ring and called for the bell. Alex Colon def. MASADA by pin Colon’s ambush did not buy him much of an advantage as he had trouble with MASADA’s size advantage and was soon being battered around the ring. Alex absorbed a litany of powerbombs and kicked out after both a Skullf*cka Buster and a MASADAmizer. MASADA took Colon out to the floor to brutalize him some more but Alex was able to smash his foe into the ring post. He threw the bleary MASADA back into the ring and hit him with his finisher, the Done Deal, for the pin. Colon grabbed his belt and vacated before MASADA could recover. Alex Colon promo"MASADA, you are considered perhaps the greatest CZW champion of all time and I just beat you. For the second time. So what does that say about the current CZW World Heavyweight Champion? It says that Alex Colon is here to stay.” Drew Gulak came to the ring and explained that, although he got rid of the traitor Kimber Lee, he still had something to prove to Danny Havoc. He claimed the only way Havoc was able to beat him for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship was due to Kimber Lee’s interference. He wanted Havoc to come out and learn who his better was. Danny was happy to oblige. Danny Havoc def. Drew Gulak by pin Gulak took Danny to the mat showing perfect technique and soon had him in a sharpshooter looking for the submission. Havoc escaped but Drew continued with the grappling exhibition until he used a surprising kick to the chin that had Danny reeling. Drew made the mistake of moving the fight to Havoc’s territory out on the floor. Danny pummelled Drew then hit a flying clothesline taking them both over the barrier and into the crowd. Back in the ring, Drew took over again for a while until Danny dragged him to the floor and posted him. Havoc clobbered Drew around ringside some more before taking back between the ropes for General Order 24 and the easy three count. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPShane Strickland def. A.R. Fox(c) by pin Sometimes rivals, sometimes partners, Fox and Strickland met in this rubber match with the Wired title on the line. The pair had a friendly discussion as they shook hands before the bell. The duo had a dazzling exchange of offense with Strickland going for a cover after a springboard seated senton. There was more back and forth with Shane getting in the stronger offense. A Swerve Drop put Fox to the mat and Strickland was the first to go for a 450 Splash but only got a two count. A missile dropkick and another 450 but Fox survived it. Swerve Drop, Swerve Drop, missile dropkick, 450 Splash, Fox got a shoulder up at 2 ⅞. The crowd was going crazy over the champ’s resilience. Fox took over after an inexplicable ref bump and following some crazy offense, hit a 450 Splash of his own with Strickland kicking out at two. The end sequence saw Fox place Shane on the top rope and attempt a frankensteiner. Strickland blocked, dumping Fox hard to the mat, then connected with a nasty missile dropkick and covered for the three count to become Wired Champion. The fans gave both men a huge ovation for their over the top performance. Chris Dickinson w/Sozio & The Front def. BLK Jeez w/Ruckus by DQ In the first confrontation of the night between BLKOUT and The Front, we had one of Sozio’s “fixers” returning from injury to take on the the leader of BLKOUT. Dickinson used kicks and lariats to set up a falcon arrow that caused Jeez to retreat to the floor. An Avalanche Burning Hammer had the same effect as Jeez frustrated “The Dirty Daddy” by leaving the ring. Jeez went to the floor a third time and Dickinson followed. Ruckus had set up a table and Jeez gave Chris a brainbuster onto it, drawing a disqualification. There was chaos as the Front went after Jeez and Sozio went after Ruckus. Jeez fled and the Front helped Dickinson to the back, leaving Sozio and Ruckus to their scheduled match. Sozio def. Ruckus by DQ Ruckus lit up Sozio with his unique offensive arsenal. Sozio bailed to the floor and Ruckus pursued, repeatedly bashing him with a steel chair. The ref leveled the second disqualification of the night against BLKOUT and some of the fans were irate, wanting to see unbridled fights between the two factions. Apparently, hey would have to wait for the main event to see that happen. CZW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPBeaver Boys(c) def. Nation of Intoxication by DQ The Nation had earned this title shot with a ladder match win over OI4K last month at Down with the Sickness. Lucky tHURTeen and Devon Moore had a beer while waiting for the Beaver Boys to make their entrance. John Silver stepped up to Moore and flexed his biceps. Moore responded by offering him the rest of his beer. Silver amiably took it and went to his corner. Alex Reynolds looked expectantly at Lucky, hoping to get a beer too. Lucky instead spit a mouthful of brew in his face and punched him. Hoisting the blinded Reynolds to the top turnbuckle, Lucky slammed him to the mat with a Frankensteiner for a two count. Lucky stayed on top of Alex and tagged in Moore. Devon gave Alex an Ace Crusher then an STO for another pin attempt. NOI isolated Reynolds who eventually got the tag to Silver who came in on fire. The fight spilled to the floor where Lucky propped a table in the corner of the barricade. Despite the ref’s warning, Lucky German suplexed Silver through it and was disqualified. The crowd was once again vocal about yet another DQ and so were the Nation. Front promoSozio - “Uhn. Good one Ruckus. Nice bump you left on my head. And Dirty Daddy, how’s your neck? Looks like these BLKOUT guys are playing for keeps. Well, that’s okay because it’s the only chance they have of surviving! Chainsaw, you got Joker tonight in the Tangled Web. I want you to tear him to pieces! I want him to leave the Combat Zone tonight in a body bag.” TANGLED WEB MATCHJoker def. Joe Gacy by pin Before the main event, Matt Tremont could be seen among the ring crew setting up the web of barbed wire for the match. Gacy jumped Joker as he entered the ring and powerbombed him with authority. Joker fired back and used a Joker Driver, nearly pinning Gacy early. A belly-to-belly suplex by Joker for another two count. Cambo Wizard and another pin attempt. Joker wanted to get this one over with! Cambo Wizard again and Gacy is KOed. The pin is counted and the fans are livid. The instruments of ultraviolence did not come into play and they were feeling ripped off. Their blood lust would be satisfied though. Chris Dickinson ran out and blasted Joker with a tornado enzuigiri. He roused Gacy and stomped on Joker as Joe looked for a weapon. The rest of BLKOUT tried to make the save but Sozio and The Front intercepted them for a brawl in the aisle and back through the curtain. Gacy wielded a bundle of light tubes and shattered them over Joker’s head. Then, using the end of a broken tube, gouged Joker’s face into a bloody mess. Dickinson then picked Joker up and executed a running crucifix powerbomb, hurling Joker over the top rope and onto the barbed wire web construct set up at ringside. Joker was tangled and unable to escape as Gacy mounted the top rope and came down on him, both men crashing through the razor sharp mesh and to the floor. Gacy pulled himself free and he and Dickinson rained down chair shots, trying to put an end to Joker’s career. The crowd was loving it. Not necessarily rooting for one side or the other, just reveling in the violence. CZW Rankings- Alex Colon
