I wonder if Piper doesn't have a separate kind of deal. Most WWE/Legends contracts are pretty all-encompassing as how much the WWE controls in regards to appearances, outside projects, etc. Piper still takes a lot of movie roles and such that are way outside the WWE banner. Interesting thought. I'm shocked one of those contracts haven't been "leaked"

Interesting, I usually use Gotch as an all American hero type. Gotch had a reputation as a dirty fighter. Back in the days when wrestling was 'legit' he would throw punches etc. And intentionally try to injure guys. I've used him as a 'tweener myself. I fully know this but he was an American hero that made headlines nation wide no matter where and who he fought. I have a hard time seeing him as anything else when wrestling in the US. Of course, if he were to wrestle in WWE/TNA today he could probably pull of a Kurt Angle type character - which is almost the same whether he is a heel or a face.

I always pushed Gotch as a face who sometimes lost his cool and wasn't afraid to get brutal with opponents. It was great when he teamed with Hack because, while both were faces, Hack was the calm one while Gotch was sometimes the hot-head.

I am hoping for a Honky Tonk Man card in the future to match him up with Jimmy Hart, I love his card and for now I have got him backing Greg Valentine to push after an IC belt. Re-reading the booklets has made me realize just how many great wrestlers of all eras and styles we have in the game. Unfortunately, HTM announced a couple months back that he's signed a WWE Legends contract, soooo it may be a while You can check out my bootleg group. I just added a Honky Tonk Man bootleg on my yahoo group. Hopefully you can use that until he signed. Thanks.

Even though they were great rivals I think they make a great team that has a constant rivalry between them.

Well I fixed that problem with a third wrestler, Demon Muir (inspired by Fred "Demon" Bartl."). In my storyline, Muir was furious that Farmer Burns refused to train him (Burns didn't like his attitude and was a fraid he'd try to intentionally injure someone), so he set up the attack on Hackenschmidt and made it look like Gotch was responsible. He also made Hack think that Gotch oiled his body, making him harder to grapple. Once both men found out that Muir had pitted them against each other, they ended their long-standing feud and became good friends.

My set came today and if I have my Rahl numbers right they come out as Marty Jannetty 23 (32) Roddy Piper 44 (48) Doug Gilber 6 (10) Dan Spivey 29 (38) Matt Striker 9 (12) The Grappler 19 (28) Mike Graham 17 (24) P.N. News 20 (21) Lanny Poffo 20 (24) 2 Cold Scorpio 24 (28) Tony Atlas 33 (37) Randy Savage 42 (45)
A bit surprised how weak Doug is and how strong Lanny comes out. Atlas charts were also a bit of a surprise but he looks solid otherwise. Overall looks like a lot of fun and can't wait to get the dice rolling.

Got mine today. I haven't had a chance to take a long look but Spivey's card seems stronger than I thought it would be. I can't wait to try some of these guys out in the next few days.

Jannetty, News, and Scorpio were about what I figured. no problem there as I planned to use them to rebuild my tag division once I get the set. I am surprised about Striker and Gilbert being so weak, but there's always room for people to beat up. I plan to bring spivey in as his Waylon Mercy persona and join Hillbilly Jim's Wyatt-like family.

Are the Savage and Poffo cards weaker or stronger than their Poffo 3 pack cards? Has anyone done the ratings for them?
