Card 01 – Point of Origin - Club 77, Hamilton, Ontario

PWFI Title Tournament Qualification Match – Robert Anthony v. Tommaso Ciampa v. Larry Sweeney v. Chuck Taylor
The action in this one was non-stop from the opening bell to the finish. Plenty of near falls and pin saves as you would expect with these four men battling in and out of the ring. Midway through the contest, Taylor puts Ciampa through a table with a powerbomb that has the fans roaring. Later, Ciampa takes out Taylor with a chair shot. The end comes with both Ciampa and Sweeny down at ringside and Anthony manages to catch Taylor with a running lariat (ch) and then immediately follows with an Ace Crusher to get the upset win and advance to the title tournament. *****

PWFI Title Tournament Qualification Match – Tursas v. Eddie Edwards
Edwards gave up a huge size advantage to Tursas and it showed from the outset as Tursas shook the ring with is power attack including Black Hole Slams, powerslams and Giant Lariats. Edwards turned things around at ringside and with the fans behind him even picked up a near fall with a roll up but Tursas sealed Edwards’ fate with a Black Hole Slam onto the floor in a crazing looking spot! Edwards never recovers and Tursas gets the three count minutes later with a DIVING CROSS BODY off the second rope. * ½

PWFI Title Tournament – Semi-Finals
El Generico v. Robert Anthony
The fans are chanting as Generico comes to the ring. A handshake gets the action underway. The story in this one early on is Generico throwing everything at Anthony and Anthony just refusing to go down. The fans eat up the action and are really behind both men. Anthony finally gets a break when he catches Generico climbing the buckles and tosses him to the mat. He then nearly gets the submission win with a Boston Crab and before he gets a two count after a death valley driver. Anthony attempts a deathjump cross body but Generico counters with dropkick that sends both men to the mat. The action goes back and forth from this point with both men hitting high impact spots including a couple of suicide dives by Generico and back to back Vertibreakers by Anthony. The match ends when Anthony is able to catch Generico coming off the ropes with a back elbow and then traps his opponent in a Boston Crab. Generico cannot reach the ropes and submits. Anthony score another upset and makes it to the tournament finals. The fans cannot believe it. ***

Bryan Danielson v. Tursas
Once again Tursas seems like a giant in the ring next to Danielson. Danielson shows no fear ducking an early clothesline attempt and connecting with a deathjump clothesline of his own. Danielson is all over his much larger opponent including a crossface chick wing that has the fans roaring. Tursas is eventually able to use his power to get control of the action and plants Danielson with a deadlift powerslam followed by a standing powerslam. With the fans support, Danielson comes back and a Yakuza Kick spills Tursas to the floor. Danielson comes out after Tursas and then battle on the ring apron. An enzuirigi knocks Tursas senseless and the falls off the apron, crashing through a ringside table! The fans are chanting and the bell sounds. It is announced that Danielson has been disqualified and the fans hate the call. A barely conscious Tursas is onto the finals. **

Green Ant v. Pinkie Sanchez
These two know each other extremely well and the bout was an absolute stalemate from the opening bell. They exchanged blows and counters for some time with neither man holding the advantage. Ant began to assume control but could not find a way to get Sanchez to the mat for three or to earn a submission. Sanchez regained control of the match after countering a charge to the corner and connected with back to back BURING SINCKLEFRITZ to get the three count. *

A.R. Fox v. Danny Havoc
The fans are ready for some high flying extreme action. The spots in this one were off the charts from the outset with Fox starting strong and picking up near falls after Krunch and a 450 SPLASH that had the fans roaring. Havoc was able to brawl his way back into the match at ringside and then nearly took home the win with a GENERAL ORDER 24. Fox was not to be denied tonight however as he slam from the apron sends Havoc through a ringside table and the fans explode. Havoc is never really in the match from that point and Fox gets the win after another 450 SPLASH. ** ½

PWFI Tag Team Title Elimination Match – The Tribe (Navajo Warrior & Hawaiian Lion) v. Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas v. Osirian Portal (Ophidian & Amasis) v. Outlaw, Inc. (Eddie Kingston & Homicide)
Lion starts in the ring against Amasis in a miss match of size and strength but Amasis is able to get control of the bout on the floor when he smashes Lion into a ringside table. Ophidian tags in and then take the battle against Lion to the floor but Lion lifts his smaller opponent and drops him through a table by the fans. Ophidian is down and out and The Tribe is out of the bout via disqualification. Ophidian looks done but Haas draws serious heat when he pushes aside the officials tending to Ophidian and carries him back to the ring for Yuma to work over but somehow Ophidian is able to tag out to Amasis after a knee lift by Yuma spills him into his partner’s corner. Ophidian is assisted to the back and Amasis goes it alone again two teams with the fans solidly behind him. Amasis takes a wicked beating from both Haas and Yuma. The Outlaws refuse to tag into the action dropping down from the apron and watching from ringside. Haas earns solid heat when he uses a chair to work over Amasis but he referee lets the action continue. Amasis survives a LEAP OF FAITH before he returns the chair shot favour to Haas earning a huge pop. Amasis executes back to back EGYPTIAN CONNIPTIONS on Haas for a pair of two counts and then hits a fall ending third one but Yuma interferes keeping the action going. Haas is not happy and the momentum turns at ringside. Haas then gets the submission with the HAAS OF PAIN. Homicide attacks Haas with stomps in the corner and triple rolling vertical suplexes that has the fans on their feet. Yuma is able to get the defensive tag but Homicide goes after him with a fork! Yuma is busted open and the referee makes the disqualification call. Your winners and first tag team champions are Charlie Haas & Johnny Yuma! ***

PWFI Title Tournament – Finals
Robert Anthony v. Tursas
Fans wondered whether or not Tursas would be able to compete but the big man has his ribs taped and is ready to compete much to the displeasure of the fans. Anthony shows some skills when he manages to counter a camel clutch attempt with a Boston Crab that has the fans impressed. Anthony scores with a series of leg drops (ch) but Tursas is able to shake them off and stands on Anthony’s chest drawing great heat from the fans. Tursas then crushes Anthony with a DIVING CROSS BODY to capture the title. Tursas stands in mid ring with the title belt held high while the fans voice their displeasure. *

Up next, PWFI heads down the highway to Toronto for another night of solid action at the Lulu Lounge. Space is limited so get your tickets early. The following bouts have been signed

Great action! I like that Tursas is your champion, and I find the pairing of Johnny Yuma and Charlie Haas interesting.

Thanks for the comments cman. I knew when I drew Haas to be part of the PWFI without Benjamin I had to find a tag team partner for him. Yuma seemed like a good fit and then they won the gold which was a nice twist.

Card 02 – Road to Destiny – Lula Lounge, Toronto

Green Ant v. Larry Sweeney
Sweeney really has the fans against him as he works for heat to get the night underway. Sweeney overcomes a brief advantage by Ant early on and then gets control of the match leading to a 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP for a two count. The battle goes to the floor where Sweeney cracks Ant across the back with a chair shot earning a disqualification. *

DJ Hyde v. Mike Mondo
The fans expected some crazy hard hitting action in this one and were not disappointed. Things did not look good for Mondo about half way through the match when Hyde set up a table at ringside and suplexed Mondo through it! Mondo was able to draw on the fans support and come back connecting with three consecutive NO FEAR DDTS but could only get a series of two counts. Mondo returned the table favour to Hyde powerbombing him through the wood at ringside. Hyde was able to turn things around and decked Mondo with a chair shot across the back however a SHADOW DRIVER only got a two count. Mondo took as much as he gave and eventually used a baseball side to set up his fifth NO FEAR DDT of the match for the win. *****

Tommaso Ciampa v. Chuck Taylor
Last card these two nearly killed each other as part of the four man qualifier for the Title Tournament and promoters were quick to sign a one on one rematch for the next card. Taylor takes the immediate advantage with a turnbuckle powerbomb that leads to an OMEGA DRIVER for a near fall. A second OMEGA DRIVER only gets a two count and the fans cannot believe Ciampa kicked out. Taylor keeps on coming including a Cross Crab and somersault suicide dive that has the fans roaring. Taylor then decks Ciampa with a chair shot and the referee calls for the disqualification. Taylor continues his attack at ringside but Robert Anthony arrives armed with his own chair to break things up. (Ciampa one card injury) **

PWFI Tag Team Title Match –Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas (ch) v. Outlaw, Inc. (Eddie Kingston & Homicide)
The fans don’t really care for either team so the atmosphere at ringside was hostile to get things going. The momentum turns in favour of the champions when Haas decks Kingston with a title belt at ringside busting him open. Haas then goes to work on Kingston with back to back to back HAAS OF PAIN but Homicide is able to make the save. Haas and Yuma maintain control including a superkick into a German suplex and a double clothesline that brings Homicide into the action again leading to a wild brawl. Homicide is finally able to officially tag into the bout and takes the match to the floor with Haas where both men refuse to listen to the referee and are both disqualified. The fight continues after the bell until security arrives to pull the two teams apart. Despite the initial reaction, the fans really enjoyed the intensity between these two teams and no doubt promoters will be looking to book a rematch as soon as possible. ** ½

A.R. Fox v. Archibald Peck w/Veronica
The story in this one was Fox dominating the action in and out of the ring but never being able to find a way to finish Peck off. The fans enjoyed much of the high impact offense from Fox but the match did appear to drag at points. A suicide senton from Fox did get a nice pop however late in the contest. Peck turned things around with a Baton Smash late in the bout and when the battle when to ringside, Fox grabbed the Baton and dished out some payback earning a disqualification in the process. *

The Tribe (Navajo Warrior & Hawaiian Lion) v. Osirian Portal (Ophidian & Amasis)
These two teams were the first out of last card’s Tag Team Title elimination match so both had something to prove tonight. Some great back and forth action in a classic battle of speed v. power. Ophidian nearly steals the win with an Egyptian Destroyer on Hawaiian Lion but the Tribe battles back lead by Navajor’s Warrior’s reversal of Ophidian’s cross body block off the top into a powerslam. Amasis entertains the fans with a SNAKE CHARMER on Warrior but the Portal are never really able to get the clear advantage as the Tribe’s power attack becomes too much for their much smaller opponents. Ophidian saves his partner from a MONUMENT VALLEY DRIVER and a RESERVATION DEVASTATION before Amasis himself kicks out of a second RESERVATION DEVASTATION. The fans explode for this but Amasis has no counter to an ANKLE LOCK moments later and the Tribe take the victory. *** ½

Robert Anthony v. Juan Francisco De Coronado w/Man Servant Herbert
De Coronado draws huge heat by taking his sweet time “preparing” for action on the floor with the assistance of Herbert. However, he was clearly not prepared for the offensive attack of Anthony who exploded from the start and then picked up the easy win following back to back to back springboard Arabian Presses. Dud

North Lights Title Match – Eddie Edwards v. El Generico v. Bryan Danielson
The fans are on their feet for all three men and we get plenty of chants from ringside. The action in this one was incredibly closely contested with all three men having time in control of the action. Danielson and Edwards put on display of counters that has the fans on their feet and later Generico shows he can fly against both opponents and has the fans soccer chanting. About half way through the match, Danielson sends Edwards off the apron and through a ringside table! Generico and Danielson are not able to take advantage and soon Edwards recovers and is back into the match. Edwards nearly ends it with a DIE HARD on Generico but cannot only get a two count. Edwards gets the upper hand in the match tossing both Danielson and Generico to the floor several times but cannot get any near falls. Late in the match, Edwards comes off the top with a cross body block but Generico counters with a perfect dropkick and Edwards crashes to the mat in a heap. Generico covers but Danielson breaks up the cover with a MMA stikes. Generico is dazed and rolls to the floor and Danielson traps Edwards in CATTLE MUTILATION for the submission win against Edwards to capture the title. *****

A night of awesome action in Toronto saw two five star contests including an epic main event with the American Dragon claiming the Northern Lights title! Next card, we are on to Canada’s capital city Ottawa where fans can look forward to the best action in the province. Here are the bouts already signed:

*A huge 6 man tag team encounter has been signed that involves the competitors from the bouts that ended in disqualifications tonight as Archibald Peck, Larry Sweeney & Chuck Taylor will team up against A.R. Fox, Green Ant & Tommaso Ciampa. Will any of these competitors be able to function together as team? What kind of condition with Ciampa be in when he steps back after being attacked by Taylor tonight?

*The battle over the Tag Team Titles continues to heat up and next card the Champions Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas will be in singles action against their top contenders Outlaw, Inc. Charlie Haas will battle Homicide while Johnny Yuma faces Eddie Kingston

*In one of two title matches that night, Northern Lights Champion Bryan Danielson will defend against Die Hard Eddie Edwards in what is sure to be another classic considering what these two went through tonight

*The main event will be a rematch from the PWFI Title Tournament finals as Tursas puts his title on the line against Robert Anthony. With Anthony be able to overcome the incredible size disadvantage and come away with the title or will this be the start of a long reign for the European giant?

Card 03 – Capital City Combat – Vanier Columbus Club, Ottawa

Danny Havoc & DJ Hyde v. Orisian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian)
Some solid tag team action opens the night with the Portal showing they can hang with some of the most extreme competitors on the Indy scene. Amasis nearly get the win on Havoc after the EGYPTIAN CONNIPTION but can only get the two count. Ophidian gets cut off for a while but eventually tags in Amasis but the power attack of Hyde breaks the hot tag momentum. Amasis kicks out after a SHAWDOW DRIVER from Hyde and then survives a TOTAL HAVOC from Havoc. Finally Havoc puts Amasis away with GENERAL ORDER 24 while Hyde blocks the pin save attempt. ***

Juan Francisco De Coronado w/Man Servant Herbert v. Pinkie Sanchez
De Coronado works the crowd for huge heat but taking his time preparing for the bout at ringside. Sanchez gets the crowd on their feet when he dives onto both Coronado & Herbert early in the bout. There is a great pace to this one and Sanchez really takes the battle to his opponent including another dive to the floor halfway through the contest and leads to a near count out. De Coronado is finally able to break through on offense after reversing a whip into the corner and eventually builds to the CORONADO CLUTCH but cannot get the win. Sanchez battles back and the bout ends with a Sanchez dive onto both Coronado and Herbert. All three men crash to the floor but only Sanchez is able to regain the ring before the count-out. ***

PWFI Tag Team Champion Johnny Yuma v. Eddie Kingston
Kingston starts out strong in this one but Yuma is able to shock him with a tornado DDT and then immediately hits SEX FACTOR but can only get a two count. That is basically it for Yuma who gets battered in and out of the ring for the next few minutes before back to back SLIDING D gives Kingston the win. **

Northern Lights Title Match – Bryan Danielson (ch) v. Eddie Edwards
The fans are ready for a classic but the actual match was rather one sided. Edwards goes on the offensive early on and quickly connects with a DIE HARD but Danielson is able to get the shoulder up. Both men counter but Edwards holds a definitive edge including several kicks to the knee (ch) and driving double knees. A chin checker stuns Danielson and sets up a DIE HARD to give Edwards the win and the title. **

Chuck Taylor, Larry Sweeney & Archibald Peck w/Veronica v. Tommaso Ciampa, Green Ant & A.R. Fox
The fans are looking forward to a great mix of comedy and intensity from these six men. Ant and Fox both work over Taylor leading to a huge tag to Ciampa. The fans are treated to Ciampa getting some payback against Taylor including a PROJECT CIAMPA that only gets a two count. Taylor is able to sneak a defensive tag to Peck and then leaves ringside putting his team down one. Peck and Sweeney do manage to work together but Peck misses a CRANIAL CRESCENDO against Ant. Fox looks real good against both Sweeney & Peck before Ciampa tags in against Peck and connects with a running knee in corner that has the fans rocking followed by a PROJECT CIAMPA for the win. **

The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) v. El Generico & Mike Mondo
Generico has the fans chanting early as the put together team of Mondo & Generico battled the team largely considered to be the next top contenders for the Tag Team Titles. Mondo shocks the fans by turning in a solid performance especially against Hawaiian Lion picking up a 2 ¾ count with a NO FEAR DDT. The tribe are able to regroup and with some double teaming get the advantage. Generico is able to escape an ANKLE LOCK by Lion by grabbing the ropes keeping his team alive. The momentum changes again. Lion battles out of a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH but Generico is able to connect with a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER for a 2 ½ count. Mondo tags in and immediately hits a NO FEAR DDT to get the upset pinfall. Suddenly the competition in the tag team division is heating up. ***

PWFI Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas v. Homicide
Haas put on clinic in this one mixing brawling and science keeping Homicide on the defensive for most of the match. The fans really picked up when the bout went to the floor and both men showed they could dish it out as well as take it. Back inside, Haas goes to work with series of HAAS OF PAIN. Eddie Kingston arrives and is able to distract Haas at one point keeping Homicide in the match. The action went back to the floor and Haas sets up a table and T-Bone Suplexes Homicide through it! The fans explode (as does the table!) and the referee has seen enough and makes the disqualification call. ***

PWFI Title Match – Tursas (ch) v. Robert Anthony
No one gave Anthony any chance at all in this rematch of the Title Tournament finals and unfortunately for the fans they were right. Tursas dominated this one from start to finish with his power. Incredibly, Anthony kicks out after a DIVING CROSS BODY but a Kruez Bomb nearly kills Anthony and gives Tursus his first successful title defense. *

History was made in the nation’s capital with Eddie Edwards capturing the Northern Lights Title in convincing fashion. As well, the feud between Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas & Johnny Yuma and Outlaw, Inc went to the extreme while Chuck Taylor took the highway rather than face the Sicilian Psychopath. Up next, the PWFI heads to Kitchener for a stacked card. Matches already signed include

*Tonight Chuck Taylor got out of harm’s way and walked out on his teammates to avoid facing Tommaso Ciampa but promoters have signed these two to a one on one match as this mid card conflict begins to move up the card

*In tag team action, The Tribe looks to bounce back from their loss tonight when then take on the team from the Combat Zone, Danny Havoc & DJ Hyde.

*In the first of three title matches on the card, Bryan Danielson exercises his contractual rematch and will attempt to regain the Northern Lights Title from Eddie Edwards

* PWFI Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas & Johnny Yuma have found themselves in an absolute war with Outlaw, Inc and the two teams will meet once again with the titles on the line. These two tandems battled to a double disqualification in their last encounter in Toronto. Will chaos reign once again in Kitchener?

*In the main event, Tursas defends the PWFI title against El Generico in what should be an interesting contrast in styles.

Card 04 – Epic Encounters - Alpine Club, Kitchener

Green Ant v. Archibald Peck w/Veronica
No real surprizes here as Peck draws some amazing heat from ringside. A solid opener with Ant showing off some high flying diving onto Peck at ringside a couple of times during the match. Veronica is able to save Peck from a CLOVERLEAF by distracting the referee but Ant is able to maintain control rocking Peck with a series of tombstone piledrivers (ch). Ant eventually gets the submission win with another CLOVERLEAF. **

The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) v. The Hounds of Hardcore (DJ Hyde & Danny Havoc)
It appears that Hyde & Havoc have put aside their past differences and are going to make a go of it in the tag team division being introduced with an official team name. Hyde and Warrior start this one off with some heavy blows with neither man backing down. The fans love the action and things quickly spill to the floor. Warrior maintains control and back inside The Tribe combine for a Broken Arrow. Hyde goes back to ringside and Warrior follows. This time Hyde cracks Warrior with a steel chair and earns a disqualification. Both teams brawl post match and make their way to the dressing room with the fans eating up the action. *

A.R. Fox v. Mike Mondo
Mondo was looking to move up in the rankings in this special pick six challenge. Mondo complete dominated the action both in and out of the ring from the outset. The referee was willing to let them compete and Mondo took advantage making use of a chair at one point and then later giving a Fox a flying elbow drop through a table at ringside! Somehow, Fox managed to survive and made a very brief comeback before Mondo took over again. Mondo was never able to hit his NO FEAR DDT despite shutting down Fox’s offensive attack. Fox was able to counter a charge to the corner with a wicked looking lariat. Mondo rolled to the floor and Fox dove onto him at ringside sending both men spilling. Both men end up battling on the apron and Mondo backdrops Fox into the ring just at the ten count. Mondo is counted out! The fan are not pleased but Fox is your winner. ** 1/2

PWFI Tag Team Title Match – Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas (ch) v. Outlaw, Inc. (Eddie Kingston & Homicide)
Yuma and Kingston trade moves early in the bout before Homicide enters the about. However, Yuma is able to catch Homicide mounting the corner and tosses him to the mat. Haas tags in and Yuma joins his partner for a superkick into a German suplex for a near fall on Homicide. Haas then connects with a sick looking tombstone for another near fall. The match goes to the floor and Homicide clocks Haas with one of the Tag Team Title belts. The referee calls for the disqualification. Kingston takes out Yuma with a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE and Outlaw Inc leave ringside with the Tag Team Title Belts. **

Tommaso Ciampa v. Chuck Taylor
The intensity between these two has been building for several cards causing the fans to wonder when things would explode. Ciampa looks very impressive early on in this one including a running knee in the corner that has the fans cheering. Taylor shows some countering skills rebounding off the ropes with a cross body block for a near fall. Taylor then works over Ciampa with a Cross Crab followed by a turnbuckle powerbomb. The fans are rocking as Taylor connects with a jumping big boot and then finishes Ciampa with an OMEGA DRIVER. Huge comeback win for Taylor! **

Osirian Portal (Ophidian & Amasis) v. Pinkie Sanchez & Larry Sweeney
Sweeney, the largest of the four men in the match, gets the immediate advantage on Amasis but cannot put his away after a 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP. Sanchez is in and keeps Amasis from tagging out with a running hip attack in the corner and an inverted Chikara Special. Sanchez connect with the BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ on Amasis and hooks the leg for the three count while Sweeney blocks Ophidian from making the save. *

Northern Lights Title Match – Eddie Edwards (ch) v. Bryan Danielson
This one was awesome. We get plenty of brawling at ringside early on before Edwards connects with a DIE HARD but Danielson is able to kick out of the cover. Edwards runs Danielson into a table at ringside spilling the ring bell and equipment. Danielson is able to recover and mounts a comeback supported by the fans. Edwards survives a TRIANGE CHOKE but The American Dragon continues his attack with a diving headbutt and strikes. The finishing sequence has the fans roaring as Danielson looks in CATTLE MUTILATION but Edwards makes the ropes. Danielson then immediately applies a TRIANGE CHOKE but cannot get the submission before moving to another CATTLE MUTILATION. Edwards taps and Danielson has regained the Northern Lights Title! *** ½

PWFI Title Match – Tursas (ch) v. El Generico
With the champion being literally double the size of his challenger, no one was giving Generico much of chance in this one and early on Tursas was able to push Generico around without much difficulty. Things changed when Genercio was able to backdrop Tursas over the ropes to the floor with the champion taking a nasty spill at ringside. Generico dominated the match from that point but could not find a way to get the three count even after three separate SPIKE BRAINBUSTERS that absolutely rocked ringside. Tursas made a comeback when he back dropped the challenger to the floor and Generico was nearly counted out after a powerslam onto the floor! Generico was able to avoid a shoulder tackle and regained control of the bout including a series of Yakuza Kicks and a corkscrew moonsault. Then Generico took his opponent to the top of the corner and somehow managed to execute a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!. The buckle nearly collapses from the impact and the fans explode. Generico hooks the leg and we have a new champion! ****

History was made in Kitchener tonight with the crowning of new Northern Lights Champion and a new PWFI Champion. The tag team division saw some hot action tonight including a new official team, the Hounds of Hardcore and the unlikely pairing of Pinkie Sanchez and Larry Sweeney pulling out a win.
Up next, the PWFI is scheduled to appear in Bradford for another night of exciting action. Matches already signed include the following:

*After putting in a monumental effort tonight Mike Mondo came out of the losing end of his match with AR Fox and a rematch has been signed for Bradford with the last position in the pick six up for grabs

*The PWFI Tag Team Champions Charlies Haas & Johnny Yuma will be in action but in singles bouts when they take on members of Outlaw Inc one on one. The feud between these two teams continue to rage

* Chuck Taylor scored a huge win tonight over Tommaso Ciampa to jump into the pick six and next card, the Sicilian Psychopath will have his opportunity for revenge when the two clash once again.

*After their intense battle tonight, the Hounds of Hardcore will once again face The Tribe in tag team action

* If you are a fan of pure wrestling then you will not want to miss the main event as Brian Danielson puts the Northern Lights Title on the line against former champion Eddie Edwards in a best of three falls match

Card 05 – Brawl in Bradford – Delf’s Martial Arts & Health Club

Green Ant v. Juan Francisco De Coronado w/Man Servant Herbert
These two battle hard and the action is very evenly matched from the outset. Green Ant gets the advantage and twice locks in a CLOVERLEAF but cannot get the submission before De Coronado makes the ropes. The action continues and Ant rocks the fans with a suicide dive to the floor that takes out both Herbet and De Coronado. Ant ends the match and gets the win with a tombstone piledriver (ch). **

PWFI Tag Team Champion Johnny Yuma v. Eddie Kingston
These two clashed in Ottawa and Kingston was the decisive victor. Yuma is looking for some redemption but struggles early on. The action goes to the floor and Yuma hits a tornado DDT off the ring apron that puts Kingston through a ringside table! The fans are stunned and the bell sounds. Kingston has the win via disqualification. Suddenly Charlie Haas arrives and it is a two on one beat down on Kingston which brings out Homicide with a chair to break things up. Homicide grabs the mic and promises to destroy Haas later tonight in a Bradford Brawl Match! * ½

A.R. Fox v. Mike Mondo
The last bout between these two ended with a controversial count-out win for Fox. Neither man was really happy with the decision resulting in an immediate rematch being signed. A handshake gets things going Fox uses his agility to get the early advantage. There is great spot early on where both men catch each other on the top of the buckles and toss their opponent to the mat. With the crowd heating up, Mondo gets a one count after a flying elbow drop. The action goes to the floor and a clearly frustrated Mondo makes use of a chair and is disqualified. The fans are not happy with the result and Mondo remains on the outside of the pick six. **

Bradford Brawl Match – Homicide v. Charlie Haas
This one was crazy as you might expect with as much action at ringside as in the ring. Haas uses a chair several times early on busting open Homicide but Homicide manages to survive the HAAS OF PAIN. Homicide comes back at ringside and breaks out his fork busting open Haas. Homicide suplexes Haas onto a ladder and the fans explode. Haas kicks out after a DA GRINGO KILLER. Both men tear up ringside several times before Homicide suplexes Haas onto the ladder again! Homicide hits one DA GRINGO KILLER followed by another and another before he covers an unconscious Haas for the win. *****

Chuck Taylor v. Tommaso Ciampa
If these two were apprehensive about following a Bradford Brawl Match they did not show it and they went right to work and had the fans on the edge of their seats for most of the match. Both men had the advantage at various points. Taylor hit an OMEGA DRIVER but could only get a two count. Ciampa began to take control as the bout progressed including a series of vicious running knees in the corner. Ciampa eventually gets his win back with a twisting neckbreaker and these two will no doubt battle again in the near future. ****

The Tribe (Navajo Warrior & Hawaiian Lion) v. The Hounds of Hardcore (DJ Hyde & Danny Havoc)
More intense action between these two teams. All four men see action in the opening minutes before Havoc gets himself in trouble. Havoc is able to counter a deathjump with a superplex on Lion and Hyde is able to get back into the match. Hyde and Lion go to the floor and Hyde decks Lion with a chair shot and is disqualified. Hyde keeps up the attack while Havoc brawls with Warrior in the ring. Warrior gets away from Havoc and comes after Hyde with his own chair. The Hounds retreat but the damage is done as Lion needs assistance to make it to the back. * (Hawaiian Lion is injured for 1 card)

Northern Lights Title Best of Three Falls Match – Bryan Danielson (ch) v. Eddie Edwards
A handshake gets the action underway and Edwards comes out strong including a diving double knees that gets a near fall. Danielson is nearly counted out of the ring after Edwards dives onto him at ringside. Danielson also kicks out of the DIE HARD before he begins his comeback with strikes and kicks. The action goes in and out of the ring and the referee loses control and throws out the first fall as a double disqualification. Edwards comes out strong to start the second fall and really batters the champion for several minutes. Danielson barely kicks out of pin attempts after diving double knees and a chin checker. Later Danielson is nearly counted out of the ring before he is able to mount only a limited offensive attack. Edwards takes the fall with a diving double knees. Danielson has yet to even get a pin attempt as the third fall opens. There is a referee bump off an Edwards deathjump and Danielson is able to take advantage. Danielson locks in a TRIANGLE CHOKE and Edwards barely makes the ropes. Danielson battles hard but he has taken too much punishment in the first two falls. Edwards connect with another diving double knees and reclaim the Title. ****

Another history making night as the Northern Lights Title continues to bounce back and forth between Eddie Edwards and Bryan Danielson. Edwards is now a two time champion and Danielson will be looking a rematch as soon as possible despite being outclassed in tonight’s title bout. The war between the Tag Team Champions Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas and the team of Outlaw, Inc. continues to rage. The two teams will battle in a Mississauga Mayhem Match on Card 7. Tickets for that event are going fast with the front row VIP seats selling out in minutes. Up next, we head to Scarborough for more of the best Indy action has to provide. The following contests have been confirmed.

* The Hounds of Hardcore may not have won too many bouts so far but they did send a clear message to the other teams in the PWFI tonight with a vicious assault on Hawaiian Lion. The Tribe will be looking for revenge they collide with the Hounds once again in tag team action

*Co-Tag Team Title holder Johnny Yuma left Eddie Kingston laying in a heap tonight and Kingston will have his chance for some payback when he meets Yuma in singles action under Varity Village Violence Match

*The feud between Chuck Taylor & Tommaso Ciampa has been one of the surprize highlights of the PWFI cards so far and the two will once again one on one as both men try and get a clear advantage in this feud.

*New Northern Lights Champion Eddie Edwards will be back in action against Bryan Danielson but they will be on opposite sides of a tag team bout that also features Mike Mondo and A.R. Fox who have a pair of intense battles themselves. Mondo will team with Edwards to face The American Dragon and Fox.

*In the main event, former PWFI Champion Tursas will get his contractual rematch with new PWFI Title holder El Generico. Will Generico once again find a way to defeat his challenger who is twice his size or will the power of Tursas prove to be too much?

I have to say, after catching up with these shows, that this is the funnest fed I've read in a while!
The roster is nicely balanced and you're getting good results.
The shows are structured well and the programs have really come together.
My favorite is Outlaw Inc and the unlikely pair of Haas & Yuma but the Tribe/Hounds war is also heating up.
Ciampa/Taylor is a good feud and the Danielson/Edwards struggle for the Northern Lights title has been epic!

aceldamas I glad to hear you are enjoying this fed. I was fortunate that the dice picked up an interesting mix of competitors. The feud over the Tag Team Titles has been my favourite as well and quite a surprize as I fully expected the Tribe to come out of the tournament as champions.

korgano Ciampa has indeed struggled to find consistency against a game Chucky T. If he does not find some soon he may find himself outside my pick six looking in at Taylor going for some of the gold. Danielson and Edwards have been passing the title back and forth but Edwards really took it to him in the best of three falls match so we may have seen the last of the Edwards – Danielson bouts for now

mwjergs Edwards v. Danielson in a best of seven would be fun for sure. There are loads of other contenders however so I am not sure I want to go in that direction especially after Edwards really stood out over the American Dragon in the best of three falls match

Card 06 – Opportunity Arises - Variety Village Gym –Scarborough, Ontario

Archibald Peck w/Veronica & Juan Francisco De Coronado w/Man Servant Herbert v. Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian)
Some great comedy between Peck and De Coronado as De Coronado takes his time preparing for the bout on the floor. Once the action gets underway the match is an entertaining affair. The Portal look strong early on but Peck is able to get Ophidian in some trouble midway through the bout. Peck hits a CRANIAL CRESCENDO but can only get a 2 count. The Portal comes back against Peck in particular and an SNAKE CHARMER stuns Peck allowing the Portal to put him away with OSIRIAN SACRAMENT. Fun opener.*

Pinkie Sanchez v. Robert Anthony
Sanchez starts off really strong working the arm and then scoring with a whip into the corner and tackle. Anthony is able to catch Sanchez on the top rope however and turns the momentum with a slam to the mat. Anthony hits a Death Valley Driver for a near fall and then ends it with TACO PIZZA. Dud

The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion (1 inj) & Havajo Warrior) v. Hounds of Hardcore (Danny Havoc & DJ Hyde)
With Lion not at 100% Warrior starts the match and gets in trouble almost immediately. Twice Havoc downs him with a GENERAL ORDER 24 but cannot get the win. The action evens out as both teams make several tags. The tribe gain some momentum. Hyde sends Lion into the corner and both men hit a clothesline on the rebound and crash to the mat. Lion is up first and traps Hyde in an ANKLE LOCK. Hyde cannot counter and submits giving The Tribe some retribution against the Hounds. *

A.R. Fox & Bryan Danielson v. Mike Mondo & Northern Lights Champion Eddie Edwards
Interesting bout between four of the federations more popular competitors. They waste no time in giving the fans what they want as Danielson & Edwards start the match off with a series of exchanges that has ringside cheering. Mondo tags in and keeps the pressure on the American Dragon. The action goes to the floor and Mondo cracks Danielson with a chair shot across the back and earns a disqualification. The fans hate the call and Mondo gets himself in trouble once again. *

Larry Sweeney v. Green Ant
These two clashed in Toronto and on that night Ant came out on top. Ant looked like he might walk away with this one absolutely dominating Sweeney from the opening bell. Sweeney survives a Chikara Special and a CLOVERLEAF before he gets his own offensive run after winning a brawl on the floor. Back to back 12 LARGE ELBOW DROPS do not get the job done however and Ant is able to mount a comeback of his own. Sweeney survives two CLOVERLEAFS in a run but Ant drags Sweeney to the middle of the ring and locks in a third for the win. ***

Variety Village Violence Match – Eddie Kingston v. Tag Team Champion Johnny Yuma
Yuma comes out on fire for this one and takes the fight directly to Kingston including back to back SEX FACTORS that come up just short of getting the three count. Kingston is reeling until he is able to counter a flying shoulder tackle and then connects with a clothesline in the corner that clearly stuns Yuma. A high angle belly to back suplex set up a lariat that gives Kingston the pinfall. There was absolutely nothing hardcore about this match which ended up being entertaining yet somewhat disappointing given the stipulations. *

Chuck Taylor v. Tommaso Ciampa
The bouts between these two have become must see matches and tonight was another chapter in that book. Taylor shows off his countering skills tonight twice nearly getting the win off of defensive moves. First he avoids a charge to the corner early on and gets a roll up for two and later in the contest, Ciampa sends Taylor into the ropes and he rebounds with a perfect cross body block for near fall. Ciampa gets a nice reaction from the fans for his running knee in the corner which he connects with twice. Taylor pours on the offensive late in the match including a series of turnbuckles bombs and a jumping big boot. The offensive leads to Sole Food which stuns Ciampa enough to give Taylor the win. Taylor keeps up the attack after the bell and leaves Ciampa battered in the middle of the ring after an OMEGA DRIVER. ***

PWFI Title Match – El Generico (ch) v. Tursas
The fans are chanting for Generico before the bell and there is real fun atmosphere at ringside. Generico attempts a tornado DDT early on which Tursas counter with a Black Hole Slam and then in a crazy spot, Generico is able to counter a deadlift powerslam into an exploder suplex into the turnbuckle. The fans are roaring as Generico manage to SPIKE BRAINBUSTER Tursas in the middle of the ring but can only get a 2 ½ count. The action goes to the floor and Tursas catches a diving Generico and runs him back first into the ring post. The match goes back inside and Tursas mounts the second rope for a DIVING CROSS BODY to reclaim the title. **

Up next the PWFI makes it first stop in Mississauga with what promises to be an intense night of action. The following bouts have been signed:

*Mike Mondo tendency to get himself disqualified has seen him fall from the Pick Six and cost him some key victories in the past few cards. Will he be able to right the ship when he steps into the ring once again against A.R. Fox?

*The battle between Chuck Taylor and Tommaso Ciampa will continue in Mississauga as they clash once again in singles action. Taylor sent a strong message tonight not only besting Ciampa 1, 2, 3 but also leaving him in a heap after a post match attack. How will the Sicilian Psychopath respond?

*The battle over the Northern Lights Title between current Champion Eddie Edwards and Bryan Danielson will be featured as these two battle in a straight up one fall match

*Tag Team Champions Johnny Yuma & Charlie Haas have not fared well in their resent singles matches against Outlaw, Inc and the fans are wondering if they can find success when they meet Outlaw, Inc in a Mississauga Mayhem match with the titles on the line. Front row may not be the safest place to sit for this one

*In the main event, Tursas puts his PWFI title on the line when he faces his top challenger El Generico in a rematch from tonight. Will Generico be able to recapture the title or was his victory in Kitchener just a fluke?
