I saw TASM2. It was fine but this new Spider-Man series is still trying to figure out its purpose. As a comic book fan I hate the villain designs in this series so far. I don't need yellow and green spandex but it is possible to create something that is something of an homage to the comics rather than something that looks nothing like a character.

I finally saw Godzilla today. It was much better than the 1998 remake, I give it a B.

I took in Edge of Tomorrow today and this was a great flick and better then Godzilla in my view. I really liked the cast of Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton and others. The storyline is really cool and there were several funny moments and the action was solid...

This afternoon I saw Neighbors.
I particularly wanted to see this movie because it was directed by the same guy who also directed 2 of my favorite comedies of the past 5-6 years: Saving Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek. But this movie is nowhere near as good as those two and I laughed alot less too. B-.

Although not a Summer movie, while flying home to Las Vegas from Pittsburgh on Wednesday on my IPAD I finally watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I really liked it alot and I would personally give it an A. So I was really surprised when I looked later and saw the critics consensus on Rotten Tomatoes for the movie was a failing grade at only 51%. WTH?
