Is Perfect Specimen...Overtime?
About the same height and weight, both have prior attitude issues, Spec calls himself an "athlete", the trophy goes along with the sports star gimmick, it makes sense that an over the top Overtime named Spec would get kicked off the Titans...he is from Titan, not Canada.
Can it be...? I know Overtime is popular but enough for a push like this?
I still think it's probably Scion Nexus, and he's the given up for adoption kid of Nexus in his universe, but Spec seems to also share a lot of similarities to Overtime.
I'm going to have to feud the two of them at some point.

Spec is intresting in that he seems to be a mix of titans Size wise, he's closest to Payback movewise, he's more like Scion Nexus, and some of the art reminds me of him personality wise, he's like the original Overtime

I got the set in today and it is a great edition. All the talk here & reading the booklet has me amp'd to start up the GWF and that'll happen soon. My favorite character & art is Prime Colonizer aka Mandrill and I'm looking forward to using him the most. In my old GWF, Chaos did poorly for me and so I look forward to see how Chaos Supreme fairs...
I want to thank TOM FILSINGER for creating the most epic game ever...

If I had my druthers, what Colby saw 'off to the side' would be the biggest non-event of 2131. Just a regular set, a few necessary updates, a couple of rookies, absolutely no mention of the event whatsoever. Then in 2132, Tom hits you with whatever it's going to be out of nowhere.

A fun take would be that Colby saw his own ship taking off from a different parallel universe.

This is what I would like to see in upcoming sets down the road. Characters from the future, say 50 to a 100 years, arrive and reveal that Colby and the others started a ripple effect and the universe is now on the brink of destruction. The travelers from the future say that this event (Colby's arrival) is the catalyst that triggers catastrophic events and they must be stopped and sent back. The characters could be a mixture of descendants of past and present GWF wrestlers and others with no ties to the past. The last thing I would want to see is that the next few sets are just like 2130. I don't want to continually see rehashes of past characters. Don't get me wrong, I love this concept, the characters are similar to the previous ones, but are still unique individuals and you can differentiate them from their predecessors. I just feel that there are so many new and original characters that can be created and evolved that I would hate to see a fed full of characters from the past.

A Terminator-like timeline of events (reality changes all the time) would be really cool.

When it comes to the identity of Perfect Specimen, I don't necessarily think that he has to be anyone in the main GWF universe. Maybe he isn't a wrestler in this reality, or maybe he doesn't even exist. It stands to reason that just because a person is an athlete in one reality doesn't mean that they have to be one in an alternate one. The variables are astronomical. It makes more sense to say that not everyone who crossed over into the current GWF timeline is a mirror image or even somewhat similar to their counterpart. I think that it is a better, more realistic story (if that is even possible when discussing time travel and alternate realities) to have some differences between the two and have characters that aren't merely duplicates of themselves.
