I miss lower level guys, but it's what Tom wants, so I just run with it at this point.

I'm like 10 sets behind, so I don't have any real horse in this race, but just from what I have been reading, is anyone worried about power creep and/or everyone having good stats? Well, at this point, it's the norm. It doesn't bother me. Although... you do have to admit... with all of the "Add 1" moves and multiple finishers, ect. it does for the most part make matches go by a lot faster than back in the day without them and you hoped that the Defensive guy rolled "down - 3" or "PIN," and after that you rolled a 6 to hit your finisher...

Mid to lower level guys did often offer longer matches, which could be fun to play out. The powerful card mechanics are also fun but often the matches are very short. Have had some classic mid to lower cards feuds in the past that have given great entertainment.

The new 2130 set is one of my favourites for content though and has opened up so many future possibilities to Tom, will be very interesting to see where this goes next.

Here is my theory on the stronger guys that we see now, and the quicker matches. If you think how WWE TV(good or bad), and to some extent their pay per view matches, have evolved over time, to these quicker matches, because the average viewer's attention span nowadays isn't the same. Maybe the same could be said of the GWF, if you think of it in terms of the fictional GWF fans? Although maybe the same could be said for newer, younger players, they may also want to play out quicker matches. For me the matches pitting the stronger guys against each other sometimes still go longer, but pit say Chaos Supreme versus Plethador, on average you are going to get the quick 5 minute TV type match. That's how I see things, but with that said, it would be nice to get some more mid to lower card talen to round out the card.

I see in 2131, a second ship landing in the main GWF time line but this time it will be Cordanus' ship from the alternate 2109 universe. Cordanus will come with his own wrestlers to battle Mangus Colby and his wrestlers to take them back to their time and universe. Just my spit-balling of some ideas...or just maybe how I'm going to play out the addition alternate wrestlers set.

The second ship could be from an entirely different era. The possibilities are endless. The mutant could be very intelligent, one of the best wrestlers in history, an is the leader of the hero team. The Gladiators of Aethra could be a peaceful race that protects the weak and enforce the Galactic Code. Anything is possible.

Indeed, it opens up a whole list of possibilities....some alternate universe ideas could easily be viable. (What if Cosmos was the great hero with Star Warrior being the evil GameMaster. What if Khan and Mutant attacked Pulsar instead of DragonFighter, etc.) On the other hand...Glads as a peaceful race....I hope not.

I don't agree that any era would be plausible, it has to be 2109 and 2109 alone.
A) No other time (year) would it be necessary, they left to escape the ban on wrestling and not go to Centra. B) Who else has the means $$$ to make it happen besides Colby. I'm guessing that trip was VERY expensive (ship required and device it took to dimension and time jump). C) I don't think Tom will bring guys forward just to bring them forward, it has to make sense. He's very passionate and serious about his G.O.T.G. as am I
What I think is, 2131 will see SONORA PHELF bring a group from 2109 to fight Magnus The Magnanimous. Fhanna being her main reason for revenge.
SONORA PHELF will wrestler and feud with Fhanna
MATADOR OF M83 : Tom foreshadows a lot and he was mentioned in 2130 handbook.
DARK JUSTICE : see above
and probably one more from 2109 or two (maybe a tag team) TWIN BLOOD would be so very awesome.

I don't get the 'opposite world' feeling from 2130. Maybe one or two guys come in like that, completely opposite of how we know them like a Bizarro World but I'm not expecting it.
The parallel universe guys are basically exactly the same as we know them with little wrinkles of difference. Magnus is still super rich, Chaos is still the best, Mandrill is Mandrill, Vengeance is Vengeance etc....if Tom was going for total opposites we would have gotten Prime Plethdor, Chaos as a jobber, Magnus Colby on food stamps, Crossfire would have killed Blazing Skull, Vengeance would be a humanitarian and Adam Traitor would be Pride. Point is none of these guys are opposites. Even Dark Justice made it to the dark side in the other universe. Cordanaus still trying to ban wrestling etc....in opposite world he'd be a big time wrestling promoter.
I expect one or two major stories where the doors are really blown off the hinges (maybe Spec's story) but I don't expect a set full of opposites in 2131.
