ROUND 1 Qualifing Matches
Vengeance vs Battalion Vengeance countered Battalion's opening attack and made short work of him with AETHRAN MASSACRE.
Havoc vs Bishop Hell Not getting anywhere with his fists, Havoc tosses some debris at Bishop Hell to distract him, before smashing him in the temple with his skull staff. Havoc smashed him two more times before hitting AETHRAN NIGHTMARE, only to have Bishop Hell battle back. The Aethran is hit with back-to-back HELLFIRES, but manages to regain his feet. Havoc once again gains the upperhand in the fight, and is setting up for a Gladiator Piledriver, when Bishop Hell counters with a face full of HELLFIRE that puts Havoc down for the count.
(Notes : This was the match of the night for me. Havoc had only 3 tokens on him to Bishop Hell's 8 and the Assassin still pulled of the victory with a last minute counter)
Nicodemus vs Ensor Nicodemus dominated Ensor with several Nuclear Winters, before hitting his new finisher THE REAPING to put the Assassin out of action.
Tharkas vs Death Masque Death Masque used his self-sacrifice style offense to wear Tharkas down before putting him away with DEATH FROM ABOVE.
Mandrill vs Saboteur Saboteur used hit and run tactics to keep Mandrill of balance, but the 'Prime Colonizer' snatched him up in a Colonizer Claw Grip bfore slamming him hard into the ground with the COLONIZER CLAW SLAM.
Silverback vs Mantis Silverback did not fair as well as his leader and succumbed to Mantis' assault in a short match up. Mantis applied the PINCER CLAMP and held on until Silverback stopped moving.
Paganax vs Zygon The Heathen Chief absolutely destroyed Zygon in their fight, not allowing him a bit of offense. After several high impact shots, Paganax put Zygon's lights out with a Primal Boot, that cracked Zygon's skull.
Zygon is out of action for 7 cards with severe head trauma.
Balaal vs The Betrayer Balaal took a pounding from The Betrayer, but survived three separate BETRAYALS. The serpent from Primus latched onto the Assassin with BITE OF THE SERPENT and Betrayer succumbed to the poisonous venom giving Balaal the victory.
The Betrayer is out of action for 7 cards due to the poison in his system.

Round 2 Qualifing Matches
Titanos vs Splatter Titanos powered through two MEET ARSENALS from Splatter, grabbing the weapon from the Assassin, and delivering a dose of his own punishment with MATRICES TERMINUS.
Technomancer vs Venomous Technomancer proved to much for Venomous as during the match he exploded with MEMENTO MORI, knocking the Assassin out cold.
The Convergence member placed a hand on Venomous' chest and small nanites poured from his palm and entered the Assassins skin. Technomancer then rose and left his opponent laying on the ground unmoving.
Murdok vs Death Knight Murdok made short work of Death Knight with RIGHT TO RULE.
Murdok stood over the fallen Assassin before grabbing his sword and slaming it through Death Knight's chest. As he wipes the sword clean he speaks, "First blood goes the Harvester of Souls. Make no mistake, this is war, not of survival, but of extinction. I will destroy everyone in my path to bring forth the Void."
Ma'Geden vs Malakas Ma'Geden had things well in hand, and was on course for an easy victory, when Malakas slipped from his grasp. The Assassin delivers the MALAKAPLEX to gain a surprise victory (snake eyes).
Leviathan vs Swarm Leviathan and Swarm came to fight. Both men traded the offense back and forth with several near falls for both men. The end came when Leviathan delivered the LD 50 and back to back NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES, only to have Swarm escape and nail him with FEAR ITSELF to secure the win.
The Messenger vs Code Destroyer Code Destroyer was bound and determined to take The Messenger out and after several shots with his crowbar to the back of Messenger's skull he succeeded in his task.
Avarice vs Zero Avarice and Zero battled back and forth for a short time before Avarice took over and finished Zero off with the ROYAL HUNT.
Alexander Ubel vs UltraMantis Black UltraMantis rushed in, Alexander delivered a superkick to his face, and followed up with the EXECUTIONERS SWORD to score a lightning quick win.
Competing for the aCe Championship
Vengeance Nicodemus Mandrill Paganax Balaal Titanos Technomancer Murdok Avarice Alexander Ubel

CHARACTER PROFILE THE FALLEN βHe who fights too long against dragons becomes a dragon himself; and if you gaze too long into the abyss, the abyss will gaze into you.β β Friedrich Nietzsche No man embodies this quote more than the former angel known as Exodus. Exodus had his celestial status taken from him in a bid to end the tyranny of the demon Godsend, only to have him gain even greater power, after sacrificing Paganax. Holder of the Primus Essence. While his brother Gabriel reveled in his new found mortality, preferring it to being a Celestial, it drove Exodus into a depression. Exodus craved to be in the light again, if even for just a moment, and this desire gave rise to his anger and bitterness towards Vallah. Driven mad by his mortality, Exodus did the unthinkable, he made a deal with the devil. A wedge had been driven between Exodus and Gabriel do to his downward spiral, and neither had seen each other in a long time, but Gabriel came when Exodus called only to fall into the madman's fatal trap. Exodus sacrificed his own brother on the alter of the Fourth Realm, drinking his blood in the process. The transformation was almost immediate. Exodus felt the power he had possessed flowing through his veins once again. He saw The Light for one brief moment before he realized what it was he had done, The Light was snuffed out for good. When he left the chamber he was no longer a Man, nor a Second Realm Warrior ... no longer Exodus ... he was The Fallen.
