I have a few thoughts about this.
1) The Greek Gods re-imagined as Aethran defectors and Cleansed. With appropriately cool names like Gladius and Chimaera.
2) Star Warrior with his face scarred (instead of Thantos) and embittered from the attack by Sin.
3) Raven as a Gladiator.
4) Mad Jester/Defender of the Realm as a totally straight-laced, conservative grappler (bonus points if modeled after Lance Storm).

While I enjoy the ridiculous (Bart and Turk), I admit I have a preference for guys who make sense.
My dream team of 2109 to hit the GWF to battle....I'll take 5, so some guys can get updates next year, we can always add Shayne and co. to help fight

Before we go all half cocked on bring back all these guys from the past with a twist, just try and keep it balanced with new guys from the current years as well. You can have to much of a good thing and then we get sick of the new. Take Vengeance for example he had a good run from 2096-2120+, when he was killed off by Paralyze. I thought that story arc was wrapped up nicely. I just asking for thought to go behind bring these other wrestlers back.
So let me ask this of those wrestlers you mentioned you would like to see come back what purpose would they add to the current GWF?
