You know... like I mentioned in another thread, if we can convince Swarm to do another GWFZ set we can have a Future Shock theme and bring all of the alternate reality guys you want to life... That... or I can make a new set for the board...  |

You know Cernunnos, I guess I just want the best product for the game. So just not an influx of old characters for the sake of dumping our favorite old wrestlers back into the game we so love to play.

It's always cool to say "What if" though... and always fun making guys that could spin a character in a different direction. Also... new in wrestling is barely ever "New" just about everything has been done by now...and redone. Gimmicks/wrestlers are always recycled. It could be fun I think. Not trying to "Perfect" or "Make something work," because it has already been done... and done nicely. On the second hand... making a "Set" about another reality with "Classic" wrestlers could be really fun and cool! |

Yeah, if we get too much of what we want (favorites coming back from alt-dimension), the beauty of 2130 won't have its magic anymore. Tom will now what to do and it will be good, even if our favorites don't make it in. I just hope people don't have a breakdown on here if who they want to come back doesn't.

Meteor Storm. They are exactly the same except Black Hole Bart has the mustache and Astro Turk does not.
(Off topic, I could look at Chuck Carter's art all day. IMO, best artist ever.)

Colossus - when he was introduced he was "hailed" as a ground breaker leading to changes that were as far reaching at 3000. I would love to see a Colossus that was able to maintain control of himself and IMPROVE to the point of being an absolute DOMINATE main eventer.

Iron Mane - Slightly bulked up pretty boy heel with a huge ego (think Rick Rude meets Monolith) who dominated on his home planet. Got bored beating everyone so he joined up with Colby to find better competition. Thinks he's the 'King' of all wrestlers.

If you could bring one wrestler or Tag team from an alternate dimension who would it be? And how would they differ from the original? Or would they? Both of mine have a pretty good chance of happening imo GODSEND - We have all the major bad guys repped - Chaos, Vengeance, Mandrill, Colby, even Thantos. Godsend joins the party from a universe where he defeated Valour and is loved and followed by the evil masses. Godsend showing up could throw a serious monkey wrench into the leadership roles of Future Shock. Literally every year at GCon Tom talks about 2 things he wish he could do differently 1) the Alpha Stone, check. 2) Developing Godsend more. BLACK LIST (CORDANUS & MENSAR) - Cordanus shows up from a universe where he was successful in not only banning wresting, he is successful in banning it forever. He comes in from a future universe (say 2140) where wrestling has been dead for years and attempts to ban wrestling in ALL parallel universes with the help of his muscle, Mensar. Would be cool to see Cordanus with some actual fighting ability too. More of a bad ass, physically like Mensar. |
