If you could bring one wrestler or Tag team from an alternate dimension who would it be? And how would they differ from the original? Or would they? Both of mine have a pretty good chance of happening imo BLACK LIST (CORDANUS & MENSAR) - Cordanus shows up from a universe where he was successful in not only banning wresting, he is successful in banning it forever. He comes in from a future universe (say 2140) where wrestling has been dead for years and attempts to ban wrestling in ALL parallel universes with the help of his muscle, Mensar. Would be cool to see Cordanus with some actual fighting ability too. More of a bad ass, physically like Mensar. Mensar is one wrestler I would like to see, but since he didn't arrive until after 2109 I thought he would have been out of the running for bring him back. |

I don't think 2109 is the wall. Colby bought and was taught how to do all of this. That means someone else knows and has done it before him. Who did he buy the knowledge from and who trained him? I think anything is possible now. Guys possibly coming in from parallel universes both before and after 2109. In another universe Mensar could have debuted earlier for example.

Let me ask you this then, I never got the set with Mensar in it, but was he a strong impacting player in the GWF?

He'd probably need an upgrade at this point. Back then, he was definitely a strong contender.

Although I've only recently returned to COTG after discovering the online version after playing the dice and cards version 20+ years ago, I must admit I'd LOVE to see two characters return... And I think two concepts presented by other players would be awesome (IMO at least)...
Think an arrogant heel version of Iron Mane would be excellent (Mane was my favorite character when he got released oh so long ago).
And I never got to play this character, as I was not playing the game when he arrived, but I would also love to see Raven make a return as a Gladiator of Aethra.
I'm sure a new version of Raven would quickly leap to the top of my list of favorites.

I have a few thoughts about this. 2) Star Warrior with his face scarred (instead of Thantos) and embittered from the attack by Sin. Like what was done for the first ever color cover for COTG: NEXT GENERATION? That'd be wicked. |
