I don't envy Hollywood. Lots of drugs, lots of pressure, lots of issues.
I loved Robin Williams in a lot of movies. What Dreams May Come and Good Will Hunting especially.

His best roles to me was Popeye, Good Morning Vietnam, The world according to Garp and of course Mork and Mindy. A great legend I was raised on. So now I know the Emmy Awards must include this legend in their tribute. RIP Popeye and Mork.

Definitely tragic. RIP to a man that brought laughs to so many over the years. Very sad news. I still remember seeing him as Mork from Ork on Happy Days and the battle of powers that he had with Fonzie. Funny stuff.

I was shocked to hear this tragic news.
My favorite Robin Williams movies were Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poet's Society, Insomnia, One Hour Photo, Popeye (I just watched it again earlier this Summer on Netflix,) Mrs. Doubtfire, and the first Night at the Museum.
RIP

One can only hope that the tragic loss of such a beloved icon will shed light & understanding on the disease that is depression, and all other mental illness for that matter.
Funny, we don't bat an eye when someone has cancer or some other "physical" disease,we just feel bad for them and offer them our compassion, no questions asked. But any type of "mental" disease or addiction seems to be looked upon out of the corner of society's eyes & that truly is sad.
