Which Set/s Should I Buy?

For a long time I was able to keep up with EVERYTHING FG put out on the legends side of things. With all the indy fed sets that come out it has gotten impossible for me to keep up. So, I've missed a few. I have my B-Day coming up and I thought it would be a good chance to play a little catch up. So, my question to all of you fine folks, is which set or sets should I pick up? Which sets have you found to be the most fun of the following options?

BTW, I am completely up-to-date with the main LOW sets, CWFH, CZW and have the first two ROH sets, the first Shimmer and most of the Chikara stuff. I'm also only likely to spend about $20 right now.

Here are my few ideas and the pros and cons as I see them:

Option 1
ROH: Tradition - OK, this is clearly an awesome lineup that I feel like I could put to use right away in my fed/s. I am trying to move a little more toward Online though and ROH isn't online and the PPC (Price Per Card) is considerably higher for this than many of the other options. I'm also less excited about getting another Michael Elgin, Jay Briscoe and Adam Cole. I'd basically be paying $15 for Daniels, Kazarian and the Forever Hooligans.

Option 2
Evolve - Online this is exactly 20 bucks. I'm not SUPER familiar with all of the wrestlers in the set but guys like Trent Baretta and Anthony Nese would be pretty cool since both had a taste of the big leagues. There's also the Bravado Brothers which would add a decent tag team to the ranks. Richochet would also add to the cruiser ranks well. Other than that they are mostly unknowns to me (other than Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, A.R. Fox that I have from other sets).

Option 3
Chikara: Ashes & Wrecking Crew - I haven't used a TON of the Chikara cards thus far but I really like the Devastation Corporation. I think I could have a lot of fun with them. Synron would be added to the cruiser ranks. The rest would be kind of tough for me to work into my current feds but would definitely be fun if/when I start a Chikara focused fed.

Option 4
Shimmer Vol. 2 - Last but not least is the new Shimmer set. It's looking pretty fantastic. Problem is I don't use the female wrestlers all that often. I haven't even used the first Shimmer set much yet.

So, if you were me, which would you buy? Are some of these cards REALLY fun to play with? Do some mesh better with LOW/LOTF than others?

Evolve would be my first choice, then A and WC, then Tradition (since you have little use for Cole/Elgin/Briscoe) and Shimmer about equally.

Of the 4 choices you listed, I would also say EVOLVE.

Do you guys find that it's a fun group of wrestlers? Since I don't know much about most of them I would probably do some YouTubing and more or less hope for entertaining matches.

Do ya'll think they fit well with the LOW and LOTF cards?

I think so as the EVOLVE set includes updated versions of Johnny Gargano, Chuck Taylor, AR Fox, and Drew Gulak along with first time cards for CZW's current champion Biff Busick, Anthony Nese, Caleb Konley, Ricochet (who is having an awesome year and, at the moment, my pick to win BOLA,) Rich Swann, Trent Barreta, Su Yung, Larry Dallas, Bravados, Uhaa Nation, etc.

Some people have called Evolve the best set ever.

Can't go wrong with any of them but I'm biased toward ROH Tradition if I have to pick one. Star power is amazing. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I'll likely buy them all at some point but I think I'm leaning toward Evolve. I'll have to do some research to figure out where everyone will fit into my feds but the sheer number of wrestlers that will be added will be nice. Plus I kind of forgot about how awesome the artwork was in that set until I started looking back. The backgrounds are so unique and fun for each wrestler.

Ricochet alone would make Evolve worth it, and then you throw in Gargano and some of the others, and while I am not familiar with every name, all have found some use for me.

True story: Those backgrounds came together at the 11th hour, and were put together with less than 12 hours to go to the printer. We had been working with a different style background all throughout production, testing it to see how we liked seeing it over and over. I think 4 of them actually made teasers. Anyways, it was a far out idea for BG's and we weren't sure would work. We decided it worked better for others and not so great for others so we agreed to kill it at the last second and Tom challenged us to come up with a plan B.

First idea that popped up was "Hey, Werner drew an awesome T-shirt logo for Johnny, so let's use that and see how it looks." We had just done something similar to hoodie AJ Styles the month before, so this was another BG experiment we had been playing with. Werner set it up and we all loved it.

Proof that the creative minds behind FG can spawn some the greatest ideas spontaneously when challenged (I love to work like this).

From there it was simply tracking down personal logos and t-shirt designs for each Evolve character, and fortunately they were all easy to find and get quickly. The rest is history, and Evolve's "evolved" BG's are a huge hit. The idea even carried over to ROH Tradition. The wrestlers obviously appreciate the extra attention and care.

Evolve is hands down the best drawn set ever! The artwork just jumps out at you...

I too am slightly biased towards ROH Tradition, however. To me, based on star power, like Swarm said, it can't be topped...

Shoot, I love 'em all & eagerly look forward to ANYTHING Filsinger Games puts out on the Legends side of things!

It's only a lack of time (& the fact that I'm just too far behind) that keeps me from being a COTG guy as well!
(Although that Black Death starter set sure is intriguing...)
