Adrian Peterson suspended

The NFL announced earlier this morning that Vikings RB Adrian Peterson would be suspended for AT LEAST the remainder of this season. In addition, if he fails to meet their obligations, he could ultimately be banned from the league.

While I disagree with the NFL's handling of the Ray Rice situation, as I firmly believe you can't punish a man twice for the same crime, I wholeheartedly agree with Roger Goodell on the Peterson situation. The man has shown no remorse, refuses to admit he has done anything wrong & worst of all, has said he would do it again.

Kudos to Goodell & the NFL for treating him like the piece of garbage he is.

I'm in MN but far from a Vikings fan... or even an NFL fan at all. For what it's worth, I agree with the suspension. I'm sure he'll be back in time but there needs to be some precedence set for these guys. I know I'm not alone in being quite sick of buying teams stadiums and having overgrown children being paid millions and getting away with... well not typically murder but darn close to it in many situations.
