I'd love Sage and Malta in the game. They were great as the Glads.

Sage and Malta would be awe as Promoter Prime cards. I have plans to use them against the gladiators as like a Road Warriors vs Powers of Pain type fued. I found it funny how The P.O.P. Left the N.W.A. in a fued with L.O.D. then end up feuding with Demotion aka L.O.D. Lite.

Demolition is hardly L.O.D. Lite. The two teams are vastly different in so many ways.

Demolition is hardly L.O.D. Lite. The two teams are vastly different in so many ways. The L.O.D. Lite was a joke, seeing as soon as Vince signed Hawk & Animal and had them fued with Demolition, Barry and Brian both changed gimmicks, and Ax retired for a minute.

Ax was having health problems and Demolition had really run its course by that point.

To be honest Demolition was two guys (Ax and Smash) who had strong runs as singles wrestlers brought together as a tag team and therefore could have a different match and any style of match depending on the team they battled. The Road Warriors were an amazing tag team that were very dominate as such. But were just that: Tag team specialists. You couldn't have one without the other.
The moment Crush was brought in Demolition were no more. Ax's health issues was from the buildup of toxins in his body from the amount of shellfish he was eating when wrestling still as Masked Superstar in Japan. When Ax got deathly ill from it they attempted to continue the Demolition without him and Barry and Bill's suggestion was to just let the originals take a break and then come back fresh once Ax's health was good but Vince didn't want to do that and thusly Demolition with Crush and Smash fell flat because fans wanted Ax and Smash. Also Crush was really "green" at the time which may have contributed as well.

I knew that, but most fans liked the Warriors better. Vince even tryed to sign the L.O.D. a couple years before in the 80s but they were still making big money in the NWA, Thats why Vince created L.O.D. Lite I mean Demolition. And as far as health concerns go that is why Vince added Droz and it almost worked, but I digress. As far as single wrestlers go the could both go better than over half the WWEs singles roster today. They both Wrestled Flair to 60minute Broadways.

Having a great match with Ric Flair in that era is hardly indicative of someone's individual talent. One of Flair's greatest abilities was to make his opponents look good.
I think Demolition started out as LOD clones, but they rose above that, earned their own place in wrestling history, and deserve our respect.
