WOW! DQ Mania continues... Either Rocca or Severn would make an interesting opponent for Danielson... Too close to call... I would like to see Severn.

Thank you for the feedback Pariah and Kamala. Hopefully the dice will be more cooperative in the upcoming matches. Antonino Rocca (21) v. Dan Severn (44) The action gets underway with a handshake and Severn goes to work almost immediately with a solid mat attack and a German suplex after a fireman’s carry slam for a one count (R10/P2). Rocca comes back countering a backdrop with a piledriver and then puts Severn to the mat with a series of victory rolls and a bow and arrow. Outside, Severn regains control reversing a whip and Rocca hits the ring post shoulder first. Back in the ring, Rocca is slammed to the mat with a fireman’s carry slam doing further damage to the upper body. Severn continues to press the attack and then traps Rocca in WAKIGATAME and is onto the next round (R3/P5). Up next... Antonio Inoki (28) v. Pepper Gomez (37)

Great job by Severn... I think him and Danielson should have quite the match...
I'll go with Inoki in the next round...

Thank you for the predictions Pariah and Nick_Nuke. It should be a close battle. Antonio Inoki (28) v. Pepper Gomez (37) There is brief puroesu ceremony before the bell. It is back and forth from the opening bell until Gomez misses a full nelson suplex and Inoki capitalizes with a top rope kneedrop for a one count (R7/P3). Gomez gets the best of a short brawl at ringside and then puts Inoki’s shoulders to the mat for a one count (R10/P4) with a MEXICAN CRADLE. A second MEXICAN CRADLE gets the same result (R8/P3). Gomez slows things down with a stomach claw but Inoki counters with back to back belly to back suplexes for a near fall (R6/P4). Inoki then moves directly to an OCTOPUS HOLD but Gomez makes the ropes (R7/P5). Inoki hits a deathjump smash and Gomez gets tangled in the ropes. The referee frees Gomez who stumbles directing into an ENZUIRGIRI. Inoki is your winner (R3/P7) and takes his first step towards being the first two time winner of the tournament. Up next.... brace yourself.... Freddie Blassie (5) v. Jon Moxley (60)

Inoki drops everybody he faces for me, wouldn't be surprised to see him win this tournament. Moxley and Blassie is hard not seeing this end in a dq

Great match between Inoki and Gomez. The next match is going to be a good one. I'm going to have to go with Blassie but think Moxley hould give him a good match.

Thanks for the feedback Count Necros and Nick_Nuke. Should be an interesting contest and I agree, the potential for a disqualification is high. Freddie Blassie (5) v. Jon Moxley (60) The fans were braced for an all-out chaos with these two across the ring from each other. Moxley, despite his hardcore experience, was no match for Blassie tonight. A bite the forehead opened up Moxley and a SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER put him down for the three count (R7/P7). The bottom half the draw gets underway next. With only ½ of the top half matches ending in a pin or submission, promoters are hoping for some clean finishes in the next series of matches. Lou Thesz (2) v. Bobby Eaton (63) w/Jim Cornette starts us off

Unfortunate that Moxley could not pull off the win... But, not really a surprise either... I'm sure that Blassie put him through his paces...
Pretty sure that Thesz will advance, but how cool would it be for Eaton to pull off the upset...
Really enjoying the tournament... Thanks for posting!

Another great match. Sad to see Moxley out already. I'd like to see Eaton advance but Thesz is going to be tough.
