Beneath a barren city overrun by the plague, Murdok toasted his victorious tag team. Corporal Tek bowed to his superior officer as Cremator quickly turned his attention to the meal of flesh served in his honor.
“Godsend is training with Noxious?”
“Yes. That foolish VX has Noxious in a match at the next fight card.”
“Sir, I do not trust Godsend.”
“I know, Corporal.” Murdok rose. “No one does. But that is not to matter. Nothing will stop the Crusdade. Not even Godsend!”
“Ageis isn’t here.”
I wasn’t surprised. Murdok had struck the one blow that may have broken Aegis. It was risky but it was effective. The one thing that could totally turn the tide in this war.
But, if Aegis snapped out of it, Murdok could be in big trouble.
“Alright,” I commanded. “Let’s get the cameras rolling and get this started.”

NOXIOUS W/TRISIS VS GROVEL
Grovel gave Noxious the Repeated Throat Driver and went for the cover but barely even could get a 1 count. Grovel gave Noxious another Repeated Throat Driver. Grovel gave Noxious the Face Smothering. Grovel hit a deathjump and made the cover and Trisis could not make the distraction.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: GROVEL
Fascinating. I thought Noxious would beat him. I had watched Lance At-Las’ attention to the match.
“Scouting a future opponent?” I asked.
“No!” He looked me in the eye. “I don’t ever want to fight Noxious. You got it?”
I shook my head. “I can’t guarantee that except to say I won’t schedule you to face him in a singles match. Tag matches are no guarantees.”
He nodded and walked away.
THE SPECIALISTS VS MASS DESTRUCTION
Ventross delivers the SEVERED TIES to Scorch and gets a 2 count. The Ventross Vivsection fails to put Scorch away as well. Ventross got the Ravager Gut Buster on Shepard and Scorch had to make the save. Warfare tagged in and Shepard got THE BIG PAYBACK and Warfare made the cover and Scorch came in for another save but Warfare gave the Specialists the Noggin’ Knocker and covered Shepard for a 1 count. Shepard came back with the Silver Bullet on Warfare and scored a 2 count. Scorch tagged in and gave Warfare a turnbuckle stomp and made the cover and Ventross made the save. Shepard gave Warfare the Shepard’s Antivirus and made the cover and 1..2…3 no not quite 3. Scorch tagged in and hit Warfare with THE TRAILBLAZER and made the cover but could only get a 1 count. The Ravager team came back and Shepard finally fell to the Ventross Vivsection.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: MASS DESTRUCTION
That was a great match! I thought the Specialists would be able to take them. That Ravager team was tough though.
“Get out of the way!” I watched as Murdok made his way to the ring with Trisis. Aegis would have lost it had he been here. As it was, Lance at Rouser were beside themselves wanting to kill Murdok. Rouser would get his chance. I gave him no chance.
MURDOK W/TRISIS VS ROUSER
The Rouser brainbuster kick dropped Murdok for a 1 count. Rouser followed up with the XENOPHOBIA and scored a 2 count. Murdok turns it around and gives Rouser the Head Spear Takedown. Murdok hits the POWER OF THE PLAGUE and scores a 2 count. Murdok finishes off his opponent with the CENTRA TAKEOVER.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: MURDOK
Rouser had given a better fight than I thought he would. Lance and Shepard were quickly in the ring to help Rouser. And probably to keep Murdok from pulling any nasty business.
Meanwhile, I noticed a new missing face. Where was Godsend?
Another commotion brought me out of my questioning pontification. The Ravagers were having to hold Ventross back.
General Rankor was headed to the ring.
And Ventross wanted the traitor dead!
GENERAL RANKOR VS FLATLINER
Rankor scored a 2 count with a sub-atomic drop. Rankor followed up with a front face DDT and scored a 1 count. Flatliner came back with the Double Arm DDT. Flatliner would later hit the Metal Ramrod and get a surprise 3 count.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: FLATLINER
Ventross headed into the ring and was ready to go after Rankor.
“Don’t do it!” I commanded. “The integrity of the ACE requires that you keep the violence in sanctioned matches.”
“You give me a match with Rankor!”
“All in due time, Ventross.” Nope, they had to know who ran the show around here. “But when I say so! That goes for all of you! You fight who I say when I say!”
NONTITLE MATCH
RESURRECTION W/TRISIS VS NICODEMUS AND NEMEAN
Corporal Tek gave Nicodemus the Tek Turnbuckle Ram to the steel post outside the ring and Nicodemus had to beat the 10 count back into the ring. The Ravager team fought back and Nicodemus gave Cremator the +1 NUCLEAR WINTER and went for the pin and got a 2 count. Nemean gave Cremator the HUNGER STRIKE and also got a 1 count. Later in the match, Nemean tried an elbow smash but Cremator countered it into a face lock suplex and covered Nemean for a 1 count. Tek would use CORPORAL PUNISHMENT on Nemean but just missed getting the 3 count. Cremator tagged in and went for a deathjump but Nemean countered it into a DDT and made the cover and scored the 3 count as Nicodemus cut off Tek.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: NICODEMUS AND NEMEAN
Nicodemus held his hand up in victory and then shouted. “I want Paganax!”
I had a single word answer for the Ravager.
“No.”
“Godsend is training with Noxious?”
