Utterly fantastic presentation! The coloring of the text pops nicely and goes very well with the SHIMMER logo... As I've stated before, I know next to nothing when it comes to the content of this particular promotion... But, I'm sure I'll learn as I follow along... Looking forward to watching it unfold!

"Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto made short work of the "Wrestling Goddess" Athena when she knocked Athena out with a brutal flurry of chops and jabs at the 1:23 mark of the match. LuFisto started this match strong connecting with a fireman's carry that set Athena up for some repeated headbutts that sent Athena to her knee's. LuFisto then put Athena way with the brutal series of chops and jabs that knocked Athena out cold.


Daizee Haze defeated Sara Del Rey via pinfall when she caught Del Rey with a missile dropkick at the 18:37 mark of the match. This match saw Del Rey show great resiliency as she kicked out four Mind Trips as this match progressed. As the action went back and forth Del Rey got a couple near falls when she locked on the Cross Arm Breaker twice in the center of the ring, but both times Haze managed to break the hold. Following the second Cross Arm Breaker Haze made the comeback when Del Rey tried to come off the top rope. Haze caught Del Rey with a Daizee Cutter for a near fall as Del Rey was in the air. From there Haze hit the fourth Mind Trip before putting Del Rey away with the missile dropkick.


3G (Kellie Skater & Tomoka Nakagawa) defeated the Canadian Ninja's (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) via disqualification when Portia Perez blasted Tomoka Nakagawa with a steel chair at the 5:38 mark of the match while the two were brawling on the arena floor. After the referee called for the bell the Canadian Ninja's absolutely destroyed 3G. First Portia Perez took Nakagawa out with a second steel chair shot. As Kellie Skater came around to check on Nakagawa Nicole Matthews nailed her from behind with a steel chair. The Ninja's then tossed Skater in the ring where they hit Skater with three straight Funky Cold Medina's. With Skater laid out the Ninja's then turned their attention back on to Nakagawa. As Matthews worked over Nakagawa on the floor Perez set up four chairs in the ring. Once the four chairs were set up the Ninja's hit the Funky Cold Medina on Nakagawa driving her through the four chairs. The Ninja's then celebrated as if they just won the Shimmer Tag Team Championship as they left ring while the Shimmer Medical Staff checked on both Nakagawa and Skater.


Thunderkitty made short work of Saturyne taking out the masked competitor with a brutal DDT on the arena floor. The move allowed Thunderkitty to pick up the count out victory at the 2:45 mark of the match. Thunderkitty dominated Saturyne during the match connecting with brutal snap suplex that appeared to take the life out Saturyne as this match started. Thunderkitty then hit back to back back suplexes before tossing Saturyne to the floor where to two brawled before Thunderkitty laid out Saturyne with the DDT for the victory.


Courtney Rush defeated Jessicka Havok via disqualification when Havok tore apart the steel barricade and then Havok drove Rush down onto the barricade with a brutal Havokiller at the 14:25 mark of the match. Havok dominated this match, but she couldn't keep Rush down for very long before this match spilled to the floor for several minutes. The action went back and forth before Havok lost her temper and delivered the Havokiller on the separated steel barricade section and got herself disqualified.


Veda Scott defeated Mia Yim via disqualification when Yim was caught ramming Scott's head into the steel ring post at the 8:21 mark of the match. Yim dominated most of the match, but she couldn't keep Scott from trying to battle back time after time. Every time Scott tried to battle back Yim would cut her off almost immediately. The end saw Scott once again mounting a comeback while the two fought on the arena floor when Yim brutally rammed Scott into the ring post.


Team Blondage (Amber O'Neal & Krissy Vaine) defeated S'N'S Express (Sassy Stephie & Neveah) via pinfall when they shocked Sassy Stephie with the Blonde Bomb at the 15:15 mark of the match. Until Team Blondage had connected with the Blonde Bomb this was a great back and forth match that saw numerous offensive and defensive tags as both teams fought for control. Amber O'Neal set up the Blonde Bomb by taking Sassy Stephie down with a Russian Leg Sweep. She then tagged in Krissy Vaine and the two connected with the Blonde Bomb. As Vaine made the cover O'Neal prevented Neveah from making the save.


"The Punisher" Madison Eagles defeated "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay via count out when Eagles caught Jessie McKay with a brainbuster on the arena floor at the 29:39 mark of the match. The action in this match went back and forth as both women earned numerous near falls as this match progressed. At one point Jessie McKay went from the School Girl Crush to the 7 Minutes in Heaven before hitting the Boyfriend Stealer for threr straight near falls. McKay then tried to come off the top rope and was caught with a dropkick. Eagles followed that up by hitting the Hell Bound for a near fall before tossing McKay to the arena floor and finally putting McKay away with the brainbuster and earning the count out victory.



The Kimber Bomb's (Cherry Bomb & Kimber Lee) shocked the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) (c) when Cherry Bomb caught Rain in the Anger as Beauty for the submission victory at the 2:27 mark of the match. Cherry opened this match by blocking a hip toss by Rain and taking her down quickly with the Cherry Popper. Cherry then connected with the Heads Up for a near fall before locking Rain in the Anger as Beauty for the victory. With Rain locked in the hold Kimber Lee prevented Lacey from making the save by catching Lacey with a German suplex as she tried to make the save.




Evie shocked the world when she caught "Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa (c) with the TTYL for the victory at the 5:38 mark of the match. With the victory Evie becomes the NEW SHIMMER CHAMPION!!! This short but fast paced match saw Melissa earn a near fall with the Air Raid Crash, when Evie kicked out Melissa threw her to the arena floor. As Melissa approached the ropes to follow Evie out Evie leapt up and caught Melissa with a brutal Yakuza kick. Evie then climbed back into the ring and connected with a cartwheel clothesline for a near fall before finally putting Melissa away with the TTYL. Following the three count Evie made a quick exit from the ring as Melissa argued with the referee that it was fast count.

Utterly intense! The ladies of Shimmer certainly make an impression in this fed!

Especially love the message that the Canadian Ninjas sent to 3G (postmarking it with some nasty chairshots)... And Madison Eagles vs. Jessie McKay was a sight...

WITH AMBER GERTER

AMBER GERTNER: Amber Gertner here with all your Shimmer Women Athletes News and Notes. I am here live at the Shimmer Headquarters in Chicago Illinois and once again this program will address all things going on in the world of Shimmer Women Athletes.

Coming out of Shimmer Volume we have two new Champions in Shimmer. First the Kimber Bomb's regained the Shimmer Tag Team Championship from the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew. The Kimber Bomb's wasted little time in regaining the belts as Cherry Bomb forced Rain to tap out to the Anger as Beauty in near record time. Speaking of near record time that is what it took Evie to defeated Cheerleader Melissa with the TTYL to become the new Shimmer Champion. Evie has been on roll since Shimmer relaunched and now has three straight victories under her belt. The new Shimmer Champion had this to say following her victory:

EVIE: Tonight I fulfilled a career goal when I defeated Cheerleader Melissa to become the Shimmer Champion, and I will hold this championship when Shimmer swings through Australia in a few weeks. Seeing as Australia is the closest I will come to wrestling in my home country with the belt for now. All of my friends and family will be there and I can't wait for them to see me at the absolute top of my game. I promise to be a fighting champion and I will defend the Shimmer Championship against any and all challengers.

GERTNER: So far the Shimmer Championship has retained it's hot potato status as no one has successfully defended the Championship this year. Sure only two matches have taken place so far, but hopefully Evie will be able to turn things around and hold onto the belt for a long long time. Following their victory over the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew Cherry Bomb and Kimber Lee had the following to say:

KIMBER LEE: Once again Cherry Bomb and I are your rightful Shimmer Tag Team Champions. Sure Cherry did most of the heavy lifting....

CHERRY BOMB: Make that ALL of the heavy lifting.

LEE: Fine you did ALL of the heavy lifting in that match, but the fact remains you and I are once again the Shimmer Tag Team Champions. This time we won't be beaten by a fluke and it will take our opponents killing one of in the ring for them to take these belts from us.

CHERRY BOMB: That is true Kimber and I don't think there is a team in Shimmer that could beat us bad enough for us to submit the Tag Team Champions.

GERTNER: I know you are all anxious in knowing the health of Tomaka Nakagawa who was driven through four chairs by the Canadian Ninja's on the last volume. Sadly Nakagawa suffered a severe concussion and separated her shoulder. The Shimmer medical staff has announced that she won't be cleared to wrestle for at least four months, which is shames as Nakagawa will be missing the chance to wrestle for Shimmer in Tokyo Japan next month. For their actions the Canadian Ninja's have been suspended from Shimmer for the next two months. That suspension will prevent the Canadian Ninja's from competing on both the Tokyo Japan and Sydney Australia tours. Portia Perez of the Canadian Ninja's had the following to say:

PORTIA PEREZ: Shimmer has just suspended me and my bestie Nicole Matthews for two months. I don't understand what we did to warrant such a brutal suspension. All we did was eliminate one of the obstacles that was standing in the way from regaining the Shimmer Tag Team Championship. Were we a tad too rough, who are we to judge? Apparently that is Shimmer's decision. Now our loyal international fans won't be able to greet Nicole and I with open arms when the rest of the company travels to Tokyo and Sydney. I feel sorry for those fans. Mind you if I am being completely honest I couldn't give a crap about visiting those back water countries. It's bad enough that I have to spend most of the year wrestling in Canada's toilet bowl the United States of America just to make a living. Now if you don't mind I am in serious need of some fresh air, so I am getting into my car and driving home to Canada.

GERTNER: Of course Portia would try to play the innocent hand, that has always been her style. Now that she and Nicole Matthews have been suspended for the next two months which of the remaining Shimmer Tag Teams will step up and challenge the Kimber Bomb's for the Shimmer Tag Team Championship. Also I got word from Kellie Skater that she wants both of the Canadian Ninja's one on one when their suspensions are done. How much do you all want to bet that both Nicole Matthews and Portia Perez will try to back out of this one?

This tour will feature 12 National Wrestling Alliance Shows and 4 Shimmer Women Athletes Shows. The countries that will be visited during this tour will include: England, France, Germany, Finland, Italy and Greece. Shimmer will hold events in England, France, Germany & Italy.

"Wrestling Goddess" Athena defeated Saturyne via pinfall when she caught Saturyne coming off the top rope and nailed the masked woman with brutal dropkick to the face that completely stunned Saturyne long enough for Athena to earn the three count at the 14:31 mark of the match. Saturyne dominated most of the match even earning a couple of near falls with a springboard cross body and a hurracanrana earlier in the match, but each time Athena just barely got her shoulder up before the three count. After the second near fall Saturyne dominated most of the match until Athena caught her coming off the top rope.


"Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa defeated Laura Phoenix w/ The Dark Menace via pinfall when she caught Phoenix with the Kudoh Driver at the 12:21 mark of the match. Despite being dominated by Melissa in this match Laura Phoenix put up one hell of a fight and probably would have lost this match a lot sooner if the Dark Menace hadn't distracted the referee. First following the Air Raid Crash and then a brutal curb stomp that nearly knocked Laura Phoenix out cold. Following the match Melissa left the ring as Laura & the Dark Menace argued all the way to the back.


"Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto defeated "The Punk Rock Rag Doll" Heidi Lovelace via submission when LuFisto caught Lovelace in a rear naked choke at the 8:52 mark of the match. This back and forth match saw both women earn a couple of near falls before LuFisto managed to catch Heidi in the rear naked choke right in the middle of the ring, leaving Heidi with no options but to tap out.


"Sweet" Saraya Knight defeated "Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez via submission after locking Martinez in the Bridled Rocking Horse at the 18:34 mark of the match. Up until the last few minutes of this match it was great back and forth contest until Saraya began transitioning from the Knightmare and Bridled Rocking Horse until Martinez eventually tapped out to one of the Bridled Rocking Horses.


Regeneration X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) defeated MsEerie (Christina Von Eerie & McChif) via pinfall at the 23:51 mark of the match. Regeneration X controlled most of this match as they isolated MsChif and slowly wore her down with numerous near falls before hitting the Sonic Screwdriver moments before Christina Von Eerie jumped into the ring and a brawl broke out between the four women involved. In the ensuing chaos Leva Bates and Christina Von Eerie both tumbled to the arena floor as Allison Danger caught MsChif with an Old School Expulsion and covered MsChif for the victory.


Jessicka Havok defeated Daizee Haze via pinfall when she caught Haze with the Havokiller at the 9:34 mark of the match. Havok dominated this match as she simply over powered Haze on route to earning the victory with the Havokiller.


Mia Yim made short work of Thunderkitty, knocking Thunderkitty out cold with a second Spinning Seoul Kick at the 2:49 mark of the match. Thunderkitty did try to mount a comeback at one point dodging a running dropkick, but Yim came back immediately by blocking a headbutt and then taking Thunderkitty down to the mat with a brutal Kick Me Goodnight before hitting the first Spinning Seoul Kick for a near fall. Yim then locked Thunderkitty in a guillotine choke that nearly saw Thunderkitty tap out. Right after that Yim connected with the second Spinning Seoul Kick for the victory.


Courtney Rush defeated Veda Scott via pinfall when she caught Scott with the Olympic Slam at the 13:38 mark of the match. Scott controlled most of the match, but she was unable to keep Rush down long enough to set up the Q.E.D. at one point Scott tried to hit Rush with a running lariat, but Rush blocked her and connected with a T-Bone suplex that earned Rush the first near fall of the match. Rush then hit several more suplexes before ending the match with the Olympic Slam.

SHIMMER CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH

"Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay defeated "The Punisher" Madison Eagles via pinfall when she caught Eagles with the School Girl Crush at the 18:32 mark of the match. This back and forth match saw both women fight hard for the chance to challenge the reigning and defending Shimmer Champion Evie at an upcoming event. Following the victory Jessie McKay grabbed the house mic and said she would see Evie in Australia when Shimmer Rolls through in just a couple of weeks.



TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS MATCH

Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) defeated the Kimber Bomb's (Cherry Bomb & Kimber Lee) (c) two falls to none when they connected with the Tomikaze on Cherry Bomb at the 19:21 mark of the match to become the NEW SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew dominated this match. First wearing down Kimber Lee and taking the first fall at the 5:14 mark of the match when Lacey caught Kimber Lee with the Implant DDT. After that Lacey and Rain hit Kimber Lee for numerous near falls as Cherry Bomb made save after save before Kimber Lee finally managed to tag her in. Sadly for Cherry Bomb Kimber Lee was in no position to help the Bomb's get back into this match as the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew quickly took momentum back before hitting the Tomikaze on Cherry Bomb for the victory.
