"Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall when the Macho Man connected with a second Flying Elbow Drop at the 18:45 mark of the match. This match opened with RVD going for a punch to Savage's head, but the Macho Man blocked it and came back with a brutal slap across RVD's face that stunned RVD. From that point on Savage controlled the early stages of the match until RVD blocked an elbow to the head and came back with several roundhouse kicks before tossing Savage into the turnbuckle in the late stages of the match. From that point Savage controlled the rest of the match before putting RVD away with the second Flying Elbow Drop.


MsEerie (Christina Von Eerie & MsChif) defeated the Kimber Bomb's (Cherry Bomb & Kimber Lee) via pinfall when MsChif connected with the Desecrator on Kimber Lee at the 30:15 mark of the match. The Kimber Bomb's dominated the early stages of this match as they isolated and wore down Christina Von Eerie before MsChif was finally able to get tagged into the match for the first time. Once in the ring MsChif completely turned the match around as she battled on behalf of her team for the majority of the remainder of the match. In the end it was MsChif's brutality that lead directly to MsEerie's victory.


"Pure Original" Chris Sinclair defeated "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett w/ Brutal Bob & Maria Kanellis via disqualification when Maria Kanellis got involved in the match and Chris Sinclair followed her out of the ring. While Sinclair was focused on Maria, Bennett blasted him in the back with a steel chair. After the disqualification Bennett hit several more steel chair shots leaving Sinclair laid out on the arena floor with blood coming from a brutal cut in his head. Official match time 9:58. Sinclair was dominating in this match and had just hit the Original Destroyer on Bennett when Maria jumped into the ring leading to the disqualification loss for Bennett.


"Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa defeated Jessicka Havok via disqualification when Havok blasted Melissa with the ring bell while the two were brawling on the arena floor at the 1:45 mark of the match. With Melissa dropped by the ring bell Havok picked her up and gorilla pressed Melissa into the crowd before leaving the ringside area.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH

Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) defeated the Fabulous Kangaroo's (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ "Wild" Red Berry via disqualification when Al Costello was caught trying to jab Butch Miller in the eye with his boomerang at the 5:45 mark of the match. The Kangaroo's dominated this match right from the opening bell as they isolated Butch Miller until Al Costello tossed Miller to the floor and got caught using the boomerang leading to the disqualification. Following the match as the Fabulous Kangaroo's and "Wild" Red Berry were arguing with the referee the Sheepherders each grabbed a steel chair and came back into the ring and laid out all three men as the Australian fans booed.


"The Punisher" Madison Eagles made short work of the "Rate Tank" Kellie Skater putting Skater away with the Spider German Suplex at the 2:01 mark of the match. Eagles absolutely dominated this match and was smiling from ear to ear as it was announced that the winner of the match would be facing either Evie or Jessie McKay tomorrow night for the Shimmer Championship.



El Generico (c) defeated "Superstar" Bill Dundee via pinfall when he caught Dundee with a corkscrew moonsault at the 27:51 mark of the match to retain the Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Dundee put up a hell of fight as he tried to dethrone El Generico. Dundee worked to keep this match on the mat as he kept going from submission to submission, but he couldn't get the masked Generico to tap out. Twice Dundee even fought off the Brainbustaaahhh!!! but he couldn't get much momentum after that which lead to him eventually falling to the corkscrew moonsault. Dundee even kicked out three Spike Brainbusters throughout this match. Following the match the two men shook hands and El Generico left Dundee in the ring with the fans giving the man from Melbourne a standing ovation.




"Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay defeated Evie (c) via pinfall when she caught Evie with a third Boyfriend Stealer at the 9:45 mark of the match to become the NEW SHIMMER CHAMPION!!! McKay absolutely dominated Evie in this match on route to finally putting Evie away in this match. At one point McKay hit the School Girl Crush, then the Boyfriend Stealer, then another School Girl Crush and finally the second Boyfriend Stealer, but after each move Evie somehow find a way to get her shoulder up. McKay then tossed Evie to the floor and proceeded to beat the hell out Evie on the arena floor before tossing Evie back into the ring and connecting with two more School Girl Crushes before finally ending the match with the Boyfriend Stealer. Following the match as McKay was celebrating her victory "The Punisher" Madison Eagles came out and said she felt sorry for McKay as her reign would last about twenty four hours. McKay responded by laying Eagles out with the belt.

SHIMMER NEWS & NOTES:
WITH AMBER GERTER

AMBER GERTNER: After a week away I am back with the latest new and notes from all things Shimmer. Shimmer is fresh off of the first of the two joints shows in Australia and HUGE things have been happening. First off Shimmer and the NWA have just announced a Mix Tag Team Tournament for the June 21st show in Australia. This tournament is being billed as a "Ladies Choice" tournament so only the women entering the match are being announced before the event starts tomorrow. It is with great pleasure that I announce the eight women who are entering this tournament. Here you goes fans. First off entering the tournament is Mia Yim. One half of the Kimber Bomb's Cherry Bomb is entering the tournament. Up next the "Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto. The Dark Menace Forces member Laura Phoenix. The always dangerous Jessicka Havok. Regeneration X member Allison Danger. The masked Saturyne and finally Australia's own "Rate Tank" Kellie Skater. Also coming out of the first day in Australia is a brand new Shimmer Champion, she is "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay. The new Shimmer Champion had the following to say following her dominate performance over Evie in Australia

JESSIE MCKAY: In my hometown and country for that matter I defeated that piece of New Zealand trash Evie to become the new Shimmer Champion, and what is my reward? Tomorrow night I have to get back into the ring and defend my new accessory. How is that fair? Evie had about a month to rest up before I kicked her @$$ all over Australia to win the belt. Well the one good thing is I have to fight a woman I have already beaten countless times the so called "Punisher" Madison Eagles. Well Eagles I have beat you before and I will beat you again. See you tomorrow night.

GERTNER: The fans in Australia are getting more than their money's worth with that match. So far in Australia has been getting more than their money's worth as all the local talents have been stepping up in huge ways, and both women from Sydney Australia will be getting the chance of a lifetime as they will be competing for the biggest prize in Women's Wrestling the Shimmer Championship in their home town. Up next I have a few words from the reigning Shimmer Tag Team Champions the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew as they prepare to defend the belts against Team Blondage in Australia.

LACEY: Rain and I have arrived in the worlds toilet bowl Sydney Australia and we are booked to defend the belts against two of the dumbest women on the planet in Team Blondage. I still not even sure how those two idiots managed to make their way to Australia without getting lost.

RAIN: No kidding Lacey, those to morons barely make it to the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois without getting lost. I remember the one time we traveled with them and almost missed the show because of those two we got fined huge money and almost lost out on the payday. Well those two women aren't even going to be a threat to our reign as the Shimmer Tag Team Champions. Once we get through the match in Australia I hope to God that Shimmer gives us a real challenge at some point. Let's go get ready for our match Lacey.

GERTNER: I have to think that Lacey & Rain are overlooking Team Blondage who are former Shimmer Tag Team Champions. I can't wait to see how that match turns out. The only Australian to not win on June 20th Kellie Skater had the following the say after the show:

KELLIE SKATER: So my return to the ring didn't quite turn out how I thought it would. Madison Eagles is always a dangerous competitor and I knew that going in. That still doesn't hurt my plans for the Canadian Ninja's after the Australia shows. On the June 21st show I have been entered into the Mix Team Tournament, which I just found out will give the winners a shot at championship of their choice. Well Tomoka Nakagawa is currently recovering still, and if my partner and I win the Tournament I promise both Tomoka and the fans that I will wait for her to be healthy so she and I can once again challenge for the Shimmer Tag Team Championship

GERTNER: Kellie Skater is right folks. Both the NWA & Shimmer Championship Committee's are going to award the winning team shots at whatever championship they choice. PART ONE OF TWO

Before the opening contest Laura Phoenix and the Dark Menace were shown backstage where they introduced Laura's partner for the tournament Dark Menace Forces is none other than the "Lone Wolf" Rex Havoc. The three then headed to the ring.

After they had made their way to the ring Jessicka Havok then appeared on the entrance ramp where she introduced her partner for the tournament the wild, crazy and nearly undefeated Bruiser Brody. As Brody and Havok made their way to the ring the Dark Menace and his clients were seen arguing with the referee about the unfairness of Havok' selection.

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

Jessicka Havok & Bruiser Brody defeated Laura Phoenix & "Lone Wolf" Rex Havoc w/ The Dark Menace via pinfall after Jessicka Havok was tagged into the match and put Laura Phoenix away with the Havokiller at the 15:41 mark of the match. Havok and Brody dominated this contest as they first isolated Rex Havoc wearing him down before he finally managed to tag Phoenix in, but by that point it was too late for the members of the Dark Menace Forces to make the comeback. Following the match the Dark Menace was heard verbally complaining about how unjust this tournament was as he and his team made their way to the back stage area.

Cherry Bomb then made her way to the ring where she first said that she had entered the tournament so she and her BFF Kimber Lee could once again become the Shimmer Tag Team champions. She then introduced her partner her long time friend "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair. After Sinclair made his way to the ring the "Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto came out on the entrance ramp and congratulated Cherry Bomb on her exceptional choice of a partner. LuFisto then said it would be hard to top that selection, if it wasn't for one man. Her partner tonight "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson. Johnson then came out as the fans cheered LuFisto's selection

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

"Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto & "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson defeated Cherry Bomb & "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair via pinfall when Johnson caught Sinclair with the Crimson Fang at the 6:45 mark of the match. Cherry Bomb opened this contest by shocking Johnson with Cherry Popper for a near fall. Cherry then dominated the next couple of minutes before she tagged in Sinclair who went back and forth with both LuFisto and Johnson before getting caught with the Crimson Fang and suffered the lose for his team. Before the match started Sinclair shook hands with both LuFisto and Johnson as Cherry looked on in disgust. After the match as Sinclair was getting back to his feet Cherry laid him out with a low blow and then a Cherry Popper as the fans booed her.

Allison Danger was then shown backstage where she introduced her partner, her brother the "King of the Old School" Steve Corino. Meanwhile Mia Yim was in the ring, before Danger and Corino could make their way to the entrance way Yim announced her partner. One of her lifelong idols the masked original and Japan's own Tiger Mask

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

Allison Danger & "King of Old School" Steve Corino defeated Mia Yim & Tiger Mask via pinfall when Corino caught Yim with the Old School Lariat at the 12:34 mark of the match. Danger & Corino dominated the early part of this match isolating Tiger Mask and wearing him down for several near falls before Tiger Mask could tag Mia Yim into the match. When Yim got into the match she controlled the next few minutes before getting caught by Corino who laid her out with an Old School Kick. Corino and Danger dominated the remainder of the match making quick tags before Corino finally managed to lay Yim out with the Old School Lariat giving himself and Danger the victory.

Saturyne was in the ring where she introduced her partner, fellow masked wrestler and Japanese original Jushin "Thunder" Liger. After Liger made his way to the ring "Rate Tank" Kellie Skater came out on the entrance way where she was greeted with a standing ovation. Skater then said that while her singles return didn't go the way she wanted but tonight things will turn around for her and her partner who almost became the Worlds Heavy Champion a day ago. She then introduced her partner for the tournament. Fellow Australian "Superstar" Bill Dundee before Bill Dundee could even enter the arena the jam packed Allphones Arena erupted and they continued to cheer as the two locals made their way to the ring.

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

"Rate Tank" Kellie Skater & "Superstar" Bill Dundee defeated Saturyne & Jushin "Thunder" Liger via submission when Dundee caught Liger in a Boston Crab at the 4:41 mark of the match and Liger tapped out before Saturyne could make the save. Skater and Liger started this match off and the masked icon dominated the match until Skater managed to tag Dundee into the match. Dundee came in, laid Liger out with a roundhouse right before locking on the Boston Crab and earning the submission victory for his team. As the referee called for the bell the Allphones Arena erupted into cheers for their fellow countrymen.


"Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez defeated "Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa via pinfall when she connected with the a third Fisherman Buster at the 8:45 mark of the match. Martinez dominated this match after she caught Melissa with her head down in the early stages. From there Martinez hit Melissa with the 3 Amigas for the first near fall of the match. Mercedes then followed that up with back to back Brainbuster's for another pair of near falls. The first two Fisherman Buster's left Melissa dazed and confused and kicking out on nothing more than instinct. Martinez then tossed Melissa to the floor where she continued to toss Melissa around the ringside area before taking the fight back into the ring and getting another near fall with yet another brainbuster before finally earning the victory with the third Fisherman Buster of the match.


Fabulous Kangaroo's (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ "Wild" Red Berry defeated Andre the Giant & Giant Baba via pinfall when they shocked Andre the Giant with back to back Boomerang's at the 4:03 mark of the match. Andre started this match strong by tossing both Al Costello and Roy Heffernan around the ring until Costello caught the Giant with his head down and rolled up the big man for a near fall before the Fabulous Kangaroo's hit the back to back Boomerang's for the victory. Giant Baba never made his way into the ring during this match.


Daizee Haze defeated Thunderkitty via count out when after Haze hit Thunderkitty with a suicide dive Thunderkitty walked away from the ringside area at the 7:31 mark of the match. Haze entered this match on fire controlling the entire match until Thunderkitty tried to take solace on the outside of the ring and Haze caught her with the suicide dive. Following several near falls Thunderkitty looked extremely frustrated in this match which lead to her walking out.

WINNER ENTERS THE STADIUM SERIES TOURNAMENT

"Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper defeated the Warlord via submission when he caught the big man in a Sleeper at the 16:31 mark of the match. Piper was all over the Warlord in this match earning numerous near falls before putting the Warlord away with the Sleeper. Following the match the Dark Menace Forces came out and started to surround the ring. Before they could make it all way around the Warlord grabbed his staff and tossed it to Piper. The Warlord then also grabbed a steal chair and stood back to back with Roddy Piper. The two men then began swinging their weapons as the Dark Menace forces retreated to the back.

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL MATCH

"Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto & "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson defeated Jessicka Havok & Bruiser Brody via pinfall when LuFisto caught Havok with a Tiger Suplex at the 25:45 mark of the match. This back and forth tag team match saw LuFisto start the match off against Bruiser Brody and the two went back and forth as both looked to gain the early advantage. Eventually Brody managed to tag in Jessicka Havok who entered the ring against Brett Johnson and then went to toe to toe until Johnson tagged in LuFisto and then this match deteriorated into an all out brawl between LuFisto and Havok with both Johnson and Brody making pin saves. The end of the match saw LuFisto hit the Burning Hammer on Havok and Bruiser Brody entered the match and tried to make the save, but he was cut off by Johnson and the two men tumbled to the arena floor as LuFisto caught Havok with the Tiger Suplex for the victory.

MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL MATCH

Allison Danger & "King of Old School" Steve Corino defeated "Rate Tank" Kellie Skater & "Superstar" Bill Dundee via pinfall when Steve Corino put Bill Dundee away with the Old School Lariat at the 19:45 mark of the match. Corino and Skater started this match off against each other and Corino even slapped Skater's Roo-Roids out of her hand shortly after the match started. After a few minutes Corino tagged in Allison Danger who quickly took Skater down and picked up a couple of near falls with the Old School Expulsion and a pair of Shimmering Warlock's, but Skater managed to kick out each and every time. After that Skater managed to make a comeback where she tagged in Bill Dundee who quickly turned the match around in his teams favor until Danger manged to make the hot tag to her brother who turned the match around who came into the ring and hit Dundee with several near falls with both the Old School Suplex and Old School Lariat. After the first couple Skater tried to turn things around by making a series of pin saves, but she was cut off by Danger each and every time. Until Corino caught her entering the ring and he tossed Skater to the arena floor as the fans began to boo him. He then turned around and caught "Superstar" Bill Dundee with yet another Old School Lariat for the victory. Putting and end the locals run in the tournament.


Veda Scott made fairly short work of Evie when she caught the former Shimmer Champion with the Q.E.D. at the 4:26 mark of the match. Evie dominated most of this match until Scott caught her charging in the corner and staggered Evie back with a brutal boot to the face. Scott then caught Evie with a hooking clothesline that laid Evie out and set her up for the Q.E.D.



Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) (c) defeated the Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) via pinfall when Kazarian caught Luke Williams with a German Suplex at the 5:31 mark of the match to earn the victory and successfully defend the Worlds Tag Team Championship. Bad Influence dominated the match as they isolated Luke Williams for the entire duration of the contest. Daniels started this match off as he quickly took Williams to the mat and earned the first near fall of the match with the Angel Wings, but Butch Miller made the save. Daniels then tagged in Kazarian who earned another near fall with the Back to the Future which once again saw Butch make the save. Kazarian then hit the German Suplex and Christopher Daniels then prevented Butch Miller from making yet another save.



Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) (c) defeated Team Blondage (Amber O'Neal & Krissy Vaine) via pinfall when they connected with the Tomikaze on Krissy Vaine at the 28:01 mark of the match to retain the Shimmer Tag Team Championship. The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew dominated the majority of this match as they isolated both Vaine and O'Neal throughout this contest earning numerous near falls on both women before they eventually earned the victory with a third Komikaze of this match and the first one on Krissy Vaine.



El Generico (c) defeated "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" Kevin Steen via pinfall when he caught Steen with a fourth Spike Brainbuster at the 14:34 mark of the match to retain the Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Both Steen and Generico pulled out their big moves during this match but both men kicked out their opponents biggest moves. After El Generico kicked out of the Package Piledriver Steen lost his temper and tossed Generico to the arena floor where the masked Worlds Heavyweight Champion made the comeback. Generico then tossed Steen back into the ring and caught Steen with the Brainbustaaahhh!!! for a very long near fall. The mach then went back and forth from that point on until Generico caught Steen coming of the top rope with a dropkick. Generico then caught Steen with the fourth Spike Brainbuster for the victory.



"Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay (c) defeated "The Punisher" Madison Eagles via pinfall when she caught Eagles with a seventh School Girl Crush of the match at the 47:31 mark of the match to retain the Shimmer Championship in this hard fought back and forth match. At one point McKay kicked out of three straight Hellbounds before this match went to the arena floor and McKay made the comeback. Once back in the ring McKay slowly picked Eagles apart as she beat her down with the multiple School Girl Crushes and numerous Northern Lights Bomb's on route to retaining the Shimmer Championship. After the match the Sydney fans gave both women a standing ovation.


MIXED TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS

"Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto & "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson defeated Allison Danger & "King of Old School" Steve Corino via disqualification when Steve Corino was caught blasting Johnson with a pair of brass knuckles at the 19:47 mark of the match. Corino was dominating Johnson at that point of the match, but he couldn't find a way to put Johnson away, which lead to his frustration and earned him and his sister Allison Danger the disqualification loss. When Corino was caught using the brass knuckles it wasn't the first time he had used them in the match as he had busted Johnson open earlier in the contest.

AMBER GERTNER: We are fresh off the Joint shows with the NWA from the Allphones Arena in Sydney Australia. Australia saw several match of the year candidates and "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay become the reigning and defending Shimmer Champion. First she defeated Evie for the belt on June 20th show, then she and "Punisher" Madison Eagles renewed their growing rivalry on June 21st. Jessie McKay came out on top of that match with a performance that drew a standing ovation from the Sydney Australia fans. June 21st also featured the inaugural Mixed Tag Team Tournament which saw "Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto and her hand selected partner "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson walk away with the victory. They fought their way through the team Cherry Bomb & "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair, then Jessicka Havok and Bruiser Brody before they defeated Allison Danger and her brother "King of Old School" Steve Corino via disqualification in the tournament finals. First I managed to catch up with "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" and the current reigning and defending Shimmer Champion following her victory over Madison Eagles.

JESSIE MCKAY: When I first came to Australia for the joint shows with the NWA I knew nothing and no one would stop me from walking out with the Shimmer Championship around my gorgeous waist. Well after first humiliating Evie I then went toe to toe with Madison Eagles, and guess what? Spoiler alert, I am still the reigning and defending Shimmer Champion. Now I prepare to head back to the United States where I will defend this championship with honor and prestige. Something that no one has managed to do so far. Sadly that idiot LuFisto won the Mixed Tag Team Tournament and everyone and their mother knows that she will once again try to get her hands on this title for what her 10,000th reign as champion? Well LuFisto if you come after my greatest accessory you will find that it is something I won't give up very easily, unlike you.

GERTNER: Strong words from the reigning and defending Shimmer Champion as she prepares to return to North America with the championship. Sadly for Evie, Australia wasn't good for her as she went 0-2 dropping the Shimmer Championship to Jessie McKay on night one then losing to Veda Scott on night two. Evie had the following to say when I caught up with her following the second night.

EVIE: As many of you can guess at the moment Australia is far from my favorite place at the moment. I walked into the country with my head held high as the Shimmer Champion, but I ended up losing the belt on the first night and coming up short on the second night against Veda Scott. Well Scott you caught me at a low point and I was easy pickings for you. Well that won't happen the next time you and face off. Nothing is going to stop me from once again becoming a champion in Shimmer. I know the lose to Veda Scott has moved me further down the standing for the Shimmer Championship, but that won't stop me from doing everything I can to once again put that belt around my waist.

GERTNER: As much as I love Evie, I think she has a long way to go when as she looks to regain the Shimmer Championship especially with LuFisto having won the Mixed Tag Team Tournament. Speaking of LuFisto she had the following to say after her victory with Brett Johnson, who has the same right in the National Wrestling Alliance.

LUFISTO: Well it looks like I picked the right partner for the Mixed Tag Team Tournament and Brett Johnson and I have won the right to challenge for a Championship of our choice. I'm not sure wher Brett Johnson is going to do with his selection. Hell I'm not sure what I am going to do at this particular moment. I have won and lost the Shimmer Championship more times than I can care to remember. Maybe that Championship just isn't for me at this stage in my career. I do know that right now I am going to head home, relax with my cat and figure out what my next step will be. If that takes me beyond the next Shimmer Volume than so be it. I don't want to ultimately waist the right that Brett and I have earned with our victory in the tournament with yet another lack luster run as the Shimmer Champion. See you all again very soon with my decision.

GERTNER: We all know that LuFisto is a complicated woman to say the least. Hopefully she will make her decision sooner than later. I do have one final person who stopped me with some words to say following the Australia shows. That woman is none other than Cherry Bomb.

CHERRY BOMB: When the Mixed Tag Team Tournament was first announced my BFF and I sat down and decided which one of us would formally enter the tournament, and we decided that I should enter with a person I have known for years "Pure Original" Chris Sinclair. Well as you can tell that decision didn't work out for me and Kimber as Chris Sinclair proved to be a useless pile of crap and was defeated in the first freakin round by LuFisto and Brett Johnson. I swear that was his plan all along, just because I refused to go out with him all those years ago. Well now I am a happily married woman and by Sinclair costing me my rightful tournament victory he has finally gotten me back it seems. Well I am not one to let bygones be bygones and I will figure out a way to make Chris Sinclair pay for costing me and Kimber Lee the chance to immediately get back OUR Shimmer Tag Team Championship.

GERTNER: I can confirm that Chris Sinclair and Cherry Bomb have known each other for years. In fact Cherry Bomb trained at the House of Pain that is run by both Brett Johnson and Chris Sinclair in Guelph Ontario. Mind you at that point in time Chris Sinclair was a happily married man and had just had a lovely baby boy, so I can't see him asking Cheery Bomb out at the point. We all know Cherry is a little off her rocker sometimes. One thing I do know, even if the scorn is imaginary, hell hath no furry like a woman scorned. AMBER GERTNER: Breaking News from Shimmer Women Athletes. LuFisto has finally informed the management team of Shimmer which Championship she wishes to challenge for. So let me let the woman herself tell you:

LUFISTO: When "Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson and I won the mixed tag team tournament I was left with a very important choice. Do I once again challenge for the Shimmer Championship, or do I look for a tag team partner and go after the Shimmer Tag Team Championship. Well after much soul searching I have decided that my destiny is to be your reigning and defending Shimmer Champion. So on Volume 59 July 25th, I will challenge Jessie McKay for the Shimmer Championship, and once I beat her I will hold onto that belt for long long time. Jessie I hope that you are prepared for the fight of your life on July 25th.

GERTNER: Jessie McKay versus LuFisto for the Shimmer Championship on July 25th will be a phenomenal Main Event. With that decision out of the way the Shimmer Championship committee wasted no time announce that the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew will be defending the Shimmer Tag Team Championship against Allison Danger and Leva Bates of Regeneration X. Also signed for Volume 59 is a rematch between "The Punisher" Madison Eagles and "Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa who will battle it out in Falls Count Anywhere Match. Cheerleader Melissa had the following to say:

MELISSA: The last time Madison Eagles and fought in the Eagles Club we were both disqualified. This time around the Shimmer Management team has figured out a way for there to be a winner. Eagles and I will battle it out in a Falls Count Anywhere match. I am going to take the time to forewarn the Eagles Club owner that I won't be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the course of this match. As for you Madison, I hope that you are ready to bring everything you got, because there is no way you are going to beat me in this match, and once I have gotten past you I will put my sights on once again becoming the Shimmer Champion, despite whoever holds the belt when I challenge for it.

GERTNER: Madison Eagles and Cheerleader Melissa going at it with nothing to hold them back will be off the charts. That match alone could have main evented any Shimmer Card, this time around they will have do whatever they can steal the show and knowing these two it won't be very hard for them to do that. Finally the former Shimmer Champion Evie is once again challenging Veda Scott, who beat Evie in Austarlia the night after Evie dropped the Championship to Jessie McKay. Evie had the following to say about this rematch

EVIE: So Australia wasn't the best for me. First I lost the Shimmer Championship and then the following day Veda Scott defeated me. Well this time around Veda Scott and I are once again going at it inside the Eagles Club. Hopefully the return to Shimmer's home will turn things around for me and I can start working toward once again getting a shot at the Shimmer Championship. So Veda I hope that you are ready to take the loss you should have in Australia. In Australia you caught me with my mind on other things. In the Eagles Club my sole focus will be defeating you, and then moving onto bigger and better things.

GERTNER: As much as I love Evie, I can't help but admire her desire. Veda may have handed her to a lose in Australia, but Veda will certainly have her work cut out for her if she hopes to repeat that feat at Volume 59. Before I go Kellie Skater had the following to say, as he gets ready to take on "Wrestling Goddess" Athena in the Eagles Club on Volume 59:

KELLIE SKATER: At Volume 59 in the Eagles Club I make my singles return to the Eagles Club as Tomoka Nakagawa recovers from her injury at the hands of the Canadian Ninja's. Well the Ninja's are still serving their suspension, so I am will be facing off against Athena in one on one action. Athena I have all the respect in the world for you and I want you to know that whatever happens in the ring on July 25th isn't personal. I want to build up as much momentum as I can before the Ninja's are back and I begin taking them out one at a time.

GERTNER: Skater versus Athena is a match that I have been personally looking forward to seeing, and I hope that Skater can quickly transition back into singles competition as the both Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews of the Canadian Ninja's can be just as dangerous one on one as they are as a tag team. Happy to see that LuFisto is going after the Shimmer Championship once again... Other options might have been tempting, but I think she made the right choice...

I think the match I'm most excited for is Regeneration X challenging Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew for the tag straps... Would love to see Allison Danger and Leva Bates take the gold...
