Bobby Heenan gets up from his spot at the announce table, gets into the ring, and introduces - ANDRE THE GIANT! Andre comes out and shakes hands with Heenan as the fans shower them both with boos. Monsoon and Ventura are stunned! It's true! Andre has joined the Heenan Family!

Andre says unless the sun has gone to Hogan's head and he hasn't figured it out yet, Andre has no intention of being Hulk's "buddy" anymore. Andre is sick of Hulkamania, just like everyone else. Andre's mission is to be WWF World Champion, and that means going through Hulk Hogan to do it! Andre makes the split official by officially challenging Hulk Hogan to a one on one match at WRESTLEMANIA! Andre has another message for Hogan. Andre says watch the next match!

* ANDRE HAS CHALLENGED HOGAN'S PALS!
Andre the Giant w Bobby Heenan vs. Hillbilly Jim
Hillbilly Jim (8 tokens) puts up an amazing fight, sending Andre (5 tokens) reeling with several top rope ax handle drops and BEARHUG! But this just makes Andre angry, and he ends it with a BEARHUG of his own, and UNDERHOOK SUPLEX!

Stone Cold stayed up all night drinking beer, trying to figure out how to solve this problem. Stone Cold can't think of any better place to do it than at Wrestlemania! Stone Cold says he won't be able to sleep until he knows Bruno will fight him on the biggest stage in their sport. Stone Cold calls for Bruno to come out and accept the challenge...

* JACK TUNNEY DECLARES "THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE CHALLENGE" TO DETERMINE CHALLENGER FOR THE ROCK AND THE WWF WORLD TITLE AT CYBER SUNDAY: With the Road to Wrestlemania season officially in full swing, WWF President Jack Tunney has made a blockbuster announcement concerning our next big supercard - CYBER SUNDAY, a fan interaction show. As it stands, the main event Cyber Sunday will feature the Rock defending the WWF World Heavyweight Title vs. one of 5 challengers Jack Tunney considers the top 5 contenders to the belt. Those 5 wrestlers are:

- Chris Jericho: Y2J was the last man eliminated in the Royal Rumble, making several big eliminations of his own, taking out guys like Bruno Sammartino and Kane.

- Brock Lesnar: The beast is a perennial contender for the main event of any Wrestlemania, any year. Following an impressive showing at the Rumble, Lesnar defeated John Cena on Monday Night Raw.

- Batista: Batista had arguably the most impressive showing at the Rumble, short of winning it. He took out Undertaker, Yokozuna, and Andre the Giant.

- "Nature Boy" Ric Flair: The WCW World Champion was taken out by the Rock at the Rumble, but comes with all the credentials needed and more to be WWF Champion. WCW Champion vs. WWF Champion would be a fantastic way to celebrate the the main event of Cyber Sunday.

- "The High King" Rob Van Dam: RVD has lost his last 2 matches vs. the Ultimate Warrior, but there's no ignoring his classic run winning the KOTR, including a pinfall win over the Rock.

Over the next several weeks, these 5 wrestlers will be matches up vs. some of the toughest opponents in the WWF. Their job is to prove they belong in the main event vs. the Rock at Cyber Sunday, and a shot at the WWF World Title. Jack Tunney will be watching closely, but more importantly, the people will be watching closely. When the time comes, Jack Tunney will cast a vote for the no.1 contender, based on the performances of the 5 wrestlers above. But bigger than that, the people - will get a vote. The People will determine the challenger for the People's Champion, at Cyber Sunday!


* DEMOLITION NEW NO.1 CONTENDERS FOR WWF TAG TITLES: Demolition defeated the Road Warriors to become new no.1 contenders to the tag belts held by the Brothers of Destruction. Demolition is scheduled to fight the Brothers for the belts in on a series of up-coming house shows.


* STONE COLD CHALLENGES BRUNO FOR WRESTLEMANIA, AWAITS ANSWER: On RAW, Steve Austin challenged Bruno Sammartino for a much anticipated one on one match. This coming off the heels of Bruno besting Austin at the Rumble, throwing the Rattlesnake from the ring. Austin awaits an answer from Bruno, and will be on RAW next week expecting one. Will Bruno accept Austin's Wrestlemania challenge?

* HOGAN vs. ANDRE SET FOR WRESTLEMANIA: the first block buster match for Wrestlemania is official, Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant w Bobby Heenan. SWWF fans know the build up to this story well. Now we await the match. With Mania still several weeks away, the tension between these two will no doubt continue to rise! Already Hillbilly Jim has become a casualty of war, his career in jeopardy after a deadly Andre neck snap! How will Hogan respond to Andre ending his pals career?

Just like last week, this weeks Smackdown opens with the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, the Rock! The Rock comes out to a thunderous ovation, and welcomes everyone to the Rocks show, to the People's show, to SMACK-DOWN! The Rock says he can't wait to see the top 5 contenders to the Rock's WWF World Title in the ring tonight. The Rock will be watching every match closely from the comfort of the Rock's dressing room. But before he does that, the Rock has a promise to keep. The Rock is the People's Champion, and that means the Rock is a fighting champion. Get the Rock some jabroni from the back because the Rock is putting the WWF World Title on the line right now, in the Cow Palace!

The Bulldog gives the High King all kinds a trouble, but RVD sneaks in a body scissors cradle for the surprise pin.

We see a clip of Batista showing his awesome power by jackhammering Yokozuna and throwing him over the top rope at the Royal Rumble. A steaming mad Yokozuna is looking for revenge!

After the match, Nikita Breznikov tries to run away, but Owen Hart grabs him and Kevin Owens puts him through a table w POP-UP POWERBOMB!

Great match, could have gone a lot longer..Jericho dodges a Steamboat dropkick coming off the ropes, hits a big LIONSAULT then locks on WALLS OF JERICHO and gets the submission.
Winner: Chris Jericho submits Ricky Steamboat w WALLS OF JERICHO.


* PEOPLE'S CHOICE CHALLENGE
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns
Lesnar (5 tokens) barely survives the SPEAR, comes back to lock Reigns (5 tokens) in a KIMURA then F-5 for the win!
