Hello, FG Fans!
I recently concluded a series of "Tough Enough" events to find the next big megastar for my iteration of the National Wrestling Alliance. It's down to three contenders, and I'd like your help picking who wins the contract!
Your choices are:
1) Cedric Alexander. Alexander racked up an impressive 61 points en route to a 15-8 record in the competition.
2) Michael Kai Rayne. This member of the Dark Menace Forces surprised a lot of people, tying Alexander at 61 points and finishing the competition with a 15-11 record.
3) Ryan Taylor. The king of the upsets. On the verge of elimination several times in the competition, Taylor came roaring back to finish with 55 points and a 15-12 record.
Please help a fellow promoter out by voting today!
Thanks!

Surely. There were two components. I selected three fields of nine potential recruits and had them square off in battle royals (battles royal). The winner was in automatically. Everyone else was entered into a "Win and You're In" tournament where the winner of each match made it into the competition, and the loser advanced. The loser of the "final" match was automatically out of the competition. Thus, I was cut from 27 to 24 right from the start. After that, I booked the remaining recruits like a mini-federation, with feuds and alliances. In addition to earning points for their matches (4 for a pinfall or submission, 3 for a count out victory, 2 for a DQ victory, 1 for a draw), I kept track of who beat who, and more importantly, who was feuding with whom, and every week I had an "elimination vote." Whoever got the most votes in a given week had to square off against whomever was in last place in the point rankings. The winner went on, the loser was eliminated. (Taylor fought in four of these matches, and won them all.) I booked mostly singles matches, though occasionally I had a tag team tournament, a Triple Threat match, or had the recruits tag with their coaches (current NWA stars selected by each recruit). It was a lot of record keeping, but it was great fun! Thanks for asking (and for voting)!

Wow that sounds really cool, I will have to give that whirl in my federation. I've been wanting to do something in my federation, I just never really figured out a good way to do it.

Interested to see who wins the vote... As am I. There are three votes that matter. The recruits, the coaches, and you, the fans. If they each win one vote, there will be a triple threat match to determine who gets the contract. If one person wins all three, he gets the contract automatically. Any other combination of votes results in a standard match for the contract. It was a lot of fun, and gave me a chance to use all the cards I haven't folded into my mainstream fed, like the Dark Menace Forces or some of the ROH Final Battle guys.

I voted and my try something similar in my NWA. My add a couple of twists here and there. Could be a great way to bring some of the new cards I hope to order in the near future.

Seems Cedric Alexander's accomplishments are most impressive of the three. He gets my vote.
