I shudder at the thought of AJ in A&8. Then again, I reckon most in TNA probably do.
Yes, an indy with a loyal fan base running a monthly show may not be a fair comparison so TNA's sparse house show crowds. But TNA has 2 hours of national prime time TV, had the backing of national media companies, big names, etc. All of those assets at its disposal, and well a dead house show business to show for it. The premise stands for itself on indy shows outdrawing TNA. A more direct comparison is ROH, which tours on a somewhat national scale and outdraws TNA.
On a related note, I did listen to Corgan speak on Jericho's podcast. Once those two got done playing footsie with each other, I found Corgan to be intelligent and articulate. He should be a handy guy for character development. Beyond that he spoke in generalities and said little of substance. I am curious if TNA used more thoughtful individuals in its creative, and less Russo and whomever else been their booker for the last 6 or so years, what place TNA would be.
In all fairness, I am not just picking on TNA. WWE seems to have issues figuring out how to tell a simple story, ROH seems unwilling to want to grow too much, and Chikara is the victim of its founder's ego.

True but one of the issues TNA has had is actual advertising beyond on their show and web site. They can advertise a house show all they want on Impact but unless a LOT of people in that area are watching they will not draw. They have to do better job of local advertising. Then again the same can be said about RoH and NXT as they have had shows around me and I saw nothing in local media. RoH might outdraw but hard to tell without looking at actual numbers. I know their crowds are not very large. One thing they do right that TNA needs to work on it working the same markets. Do a couple shows there and do not return for at least a couple months as they work their circuit.
I do not think you are picking on TNA but simply pointing out their weaknesses. As a fan I appreciate that. I always say there is a difference between critiquing and criticizing and sadly many fans do not see that. As far as Corgan being vague I hope that is more due to waiting to see how things unfold with current story lines and not wanting to push his weight around right away and less about not having any more detailed ideas.
