Destination America looks dumb here to me. Why didn't they talk to advertisers pre TNA deal? Joke they will advertise on a show about a ghost in a shed but not Wrestling. You make a good point Kamala. DA does look bad as well. Wrestling was an a very odd fit for that channel. It would seem DA just wanted programming to fill time, and probably did not do any homework with advertisers (or do due diligence to see if any claims from TNA about advertisers/sponsors were true.

I stopped watching TNA on Spike because they were showing tapings a month behind events. Destination America isn't in my cable line up as I would need to purchase two tiers of programming that would only have 1 or 2 channels worth watching. TNA lost too many guys like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe as well as guys who were going to be the blood but they spent time hiring guys like Hogan, Sting and misfits from WWE until they were rehired there. don't get me wrong, I like the old guys but they were getting pushed over the young talent TNA had been growing and the X Division got tanked. TNA had better shows on Fox Sports and when their ppvs were under 10 bucks. the creative team and Dixie took something good, crapped all over it and are now acting surprised their product is failing. let it die. I see better on ROH on Saturday night or NJPW on you tube or even the indy locals. TNA was better in the Impact Zone before traveling all over and they tried to force angles man of them they dropped without finishing. let TNA die quietly and remember the good times they had, not the death its experiencing because corporate tried to run it. maybe Vince will pick it up cheap and repackage it as a rival promotion story wise for NXT.

I am not sure if Vince would want much of anything of TNA except for the video rights.

Based on all the international deals TNA has going, they will still probably be going past the September date that they will be cancelled in America.
I personally do not get the dismissal of wrestling fans by advertisers. If anything you have a more passionate and loyal fanbase than many other forms of entertainment that has the same ratings.

Smart advertisers see the flaw working with a company who's named after Tits N Asses.

Swarm has an astute memory of what the initials originally meant to stand for. lol. Yep, good call Jarrett on hiring Russo. The nail in the coffin was put in early. It gets even more ironic given TNA was trying to get more female fans, but kept the same initials. HMM, those darn initials again (what a way to drive off potential casual fans, and female fans). Nice call Dixie and Russo.
Serious wrestling fans are a passionate breed, and will likely support the advertisers. TNA's downfall with advertisers probably extends to ratings and the bad internet buzz connected to this company. Appearances mean a lot in today's social media age.

Destination America looks dumb here to me. Why didn't they talk to advertisers pre TNA deal? Joke they will advertise on a show about a ghost in a shed but not Wrestling. That and the fact it seems they were expecting viewership numbers closer to what they were getting on Spike. But when you are in roughly 60% of the homes as Spike and that does not take in account HOW you are in them, ie Spike is on most basic packages while some homes had to get upgrades to get DA, it makes no sense. Granted the numbers were still low but some of that is due to the change and waiting for fans to catch up. As far as dropping over last few weeks, many people I talk to who were not big on TNA said it was getting better. Sadly that did not result in better numbers. In regards to the company name, that has been discussed for years. Some times things are easier said than done. First they would have to find a good name. Then spend money to switch everything over. Lastly they have to hope people understand the switch. But who knows. Maybe they have been in the process of changing it. To something with a more Global feel.

To make matters even more sad is the fact that the Bischoffs and Jason Hervey are now suing them for over $100K.
