PROTEUS 2-0 VS BEAST-RIDER 0-2
The memory of the Spacecroppers upset of the Greek Gods during the Tag Team Cup was still fresh in everyone's memory. But there would be no pin saves in this one-on-one confrontation. Proteus sent Beast-Rider into the turnbuckle but Beast-Rider came out of the corner with a running lariat and then covered Proteus for a two count. Proteus had a lot of trouble with Beast-Rider's agility advantage and the Beast Knee Shuffle scored a two count on the Greek God. The Cropper Slam then finished off this huge upset.

HOLY SNAP! Can't believe I saw that coming! That loss is really going to hurt Proteus, as he has yet to face some really stiff competition in the qualifying rounds... I doubt Beast-Rider is going to hit a hit streak, but it was pretty cool seeing him pick up this win...

Mutant was totally out of his element trying to fight his leader and quickly went down to the FALLING FACE SLAM.

MASSACRE 2-0 VS VANITY 1-1
Almost a shocker as Vanity got a 2 count with the PULVERIZER. Massacre woke up and brutalized Vanity and got a two count with the MASSACRE SLAM. A running clothesline gained Massacre a one count. Another MASSACRE SLAM ended it.

KILLER QUEEN 1-1 VS EXECUTIONER 2-0
Executioner went on the offensive but Queen rallied and clamped on the CHECKMATE and held it on until Executioner had to finally submit. (Queen rolled CHECKMATE three times in a row.)
