This far, the qualifying round is pretty much going as expected... But, there's still a ways to go yet... Wouldn't it be something if someone like Death Knight or Mutant manage to sneak their way up into the top 8... Could happen, right?

PROTEUS 3-1 VS MUTANT 0-4
Proteus took over and dominated and got a one count with a full power slam. Proteus followed up with the OVERHEAD TOSS and just missed getting the three count. Proteus stayed on the offensive and ended it with a flying elbow drop.

EXO-KING 4-0 VS GHENGIS KHAN 0-4
In the very first move of the match, Khan caught King in a sleeper hold but could not get the win. Khan stayed on the attack and hit King with a shoulder chop and covered for a 2 count. Khan even hurt King with a falling karate chop on the floor outside the ring. Khan hit the TWIN THRUST for a one count. The Khan Nerve Pinch scored the submission as the winless beat the unbeaten in a shocker.

Oh, wow... It was bound to happen sooner or later (the odds are simply too high against ANYONE going 15-0)... But, Khan defeating King still comes as a shock...

Oh, wow... It was bound to happen sooner or later (the odds are simply too high against ANYONE going 15-0)... But, Khan defeating King still comes as a shock... I agree...Khan over the King is a H-U-G-E upset and I would have never have put my money on Khan...glad I am not a betting man. |
