Expecting Executioner to clinch his berth in the top eight this round... And with Queen and Viper currently deadlocked, it should be fun to see how their head-to-head plays out... Very happy to see the VX Cup back up and running!

OMEGA 1-12 VS DEATH KNIGHT 3-10 Though this match means nothing for the VX Cup, the bad blood between these two remains strong. Fans are solidly behind Omega as members of the FDF and Evil Ones look on. Back and forth it went for a while until Knight blocked a sunset flip and held Omega down for a two count. Death Knight quickly followed up with the COSMIC LANCE but only got a one count. Omega fought back and hit the TOMAHAWK THRUST and got a one count. Omega stayed in control and executed a cosmic war dance but again only got a one count. They went back and forth again until Omega caught Death Knight in a sleeper hold but was unable to finish him off. Death Knight came back and hit Omega with a loaded glove but only got a one count. Omega fought back yet again and finally ended it with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. WINNER OF THE MATCH; OMEGA

BEAST-RIDER 5-8 VS PULSAR 1-12 An interesting matchup as these two have become friends and have teamed up together and now Pulsar can eliminate Beast-Rider from any chance at making the Top Eight. Pulsar hit the WHIRLWIND early but only got a two count. A few moves later and the second WHIRLWIND got the three count, ending Beast-Rider's hopes of making the Top Eight. WINNER OFTHE MATCH: PULSAR

VANITY 4-9 AT GHENGIS KHAN 5-8 Khan still had an outside shot of getting into the Top Eight. Khan looked to make short work of Vanity with the TWIN THRUST but only got a one count. Khan followed up with a deathjump and another one count. Khan continued to dominate and scored a two count with a deadly throat chop. Vanity got very little offense in and Khan finally ended it with another TWIN THRUST. WINNER OF THE MATCH: GHENGIS KHAN

EXECUTIONER 7-6 VS MUTANT 5-8 There are two matches this round of extreme inportance. This is the first one. A win by Executioner and not only will the Medieval Headsman clinch his spot in the Top Eight but it will also eliminate Mutant. A Mutant win will really make things crazy in the Final Round. Mutant proved tough and frustrated Executioner. Mutant used an undetected foreign object on Executioner and scored a one count. Mutant scored damage with a face slam on the concrete floor as well. Back in the ring, Executioner blocked a face slam and countered it with a face slam of his own and scored a two count. Executioner followed up with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE but Mutant kicked out at two. Mutant kept fighting back and applied a face mangler but could not get a submission. Mutant followed up with the TEMPLE GRINDER and did get the submission, leaving fans wondering if Executioner was going to completely choke this away. WINNER OF THE MATCH: MUTANT

KILLER QUEEN 6-7 VS PIT VIPER 6-7 What a huge match! The winner moves into a tie for seventh place with Executioner and controls his own destiny. The loser is not eliminated but will be on the outside looking in with just one match remaining. After a little back and forth action, Queen executed a shoulder breaker on Pit Viper and got a surprisingly quick three count. WINNER OF THE MATCH: KILLER QUEEN

EXO-KING 10-3 VS RENEGADE 9-4 And there is no pressure here as these two can use this match to warm up for the actual 2087 VX Cup Tournament as they have both made the Qualifying Tournament's Top Eight. Exo-King used his power to take control of the match and applied the DEATH VISE but could not get the submission. A second DEATH VISE just missed getting a submission. Renegade made a short comeback but again was soon caught in another DEATH VISE but still somehow refused to up. Exo-King took a page out of Killer Queen's book and executed a shoulder breaker but only got a two count. Exo-King followed up with another DEATH VISE and this time got the submission. WINNER OF THE MATCH: EXO-KING
