Week 23

The show opens with the music of Roderick Strong blaring into the arena, but it is not the SPIKE TV Champion who steps onto the stage, it is instead Valerie Wyndham, better known to the wrestling world as So Cal Val. She waits for the music to be cut and produces a microphone from her suit jacket. She explains that Roderick Strong has hired her to manage his career and she feels that the current rule system for the SPIKE Television Championship are unfair to the champion. She then goes on to demand that the Board of Directors begin giving the champion a one week notice of who his opponent will be, so that he has time to properly prepare for his competition.

This brings Shane Douglas, the public voice of the Board onto the stage, who tells Val that he will be happy to submit her complaint to the board, but in the meantime, she needs to get off his stage, so that his show can run as scheduled. Val refuses to budge until her demands are met. Shane calls for the tumbler to be brought onto the stage and draws the opponent for tonight's SPIKE TV Title match. He then informs So Cal Val, that Roderick Strong has 20 seconds to get into the ring, or he will forfeit the championship!!


1) Roderick Strong vs Ricochet {SPIKE Television Championship}

Strong raced to the ring with no knee or elbow pads on, and charged at Ricochet who blasted him with a big dropkick that shocked Strong and nearly got the three count. Ricochet flew all over the ring for the next several minutes, dazzling the crowd and keeping Roderick off his game and totally out of the match. The tide ended up turning when Roderick ducked out to the floor for a breather, and Ricochet attempted to dive on him. Roderick moved out of the way, and Ricochet crashed hard to the floor. Roderick quickly yanked Ricochet to his feet and sent him hard into the guard rail several times until the referee threatened to DQ him. Strong them ran him back first into the apron several times before throwing him back in the ring and immediately hooking in the Strong Hold. Ricochet tried valiantly to reach the ropes, but as Roderick cranked back on the hold, he had no choice but to tap.

As the show comes back from commercial, standing in the ring is a new face to Championship Wrestling SPIKE. He raises the microphone and says that some people may have seen him treading water as Solomon Crowe, but starting next week they will get to see who he really is, and experience what he can really do. Because the Callihan Death Machine has made his way to Championship Wrestling SPIKE, and any man with the guts to fight, can step in the ring with Sami Callihan, right here, next week!!


2) Silas Young vs Chris Hero

As expected, these two held nothing back and beat the hell out of each other. They started the match off by exchanging chops in the center of the ring until finally it was Silas who had enough. Hero then decided that Young should probably eat a few elbows for good measure. Not to be outdone, Silas tried to kick the face of Hero off his head with a big boot, then dropped him throat first on the ropes with a stun gun. Not one to be shown up, Hero ducked a springboard clothesline, then sent Silas for a flip with a mafia kick, which he followed with a Cravate Buster. Young fought his way back, ducked a rolling elbow and absolutely obliterated Hero with the Last Real Man Lariat. He then covered Hero, yanked his tights, and scored the One, Two, Three.

3) Tommaso Ciampa/Johnny Gargano vs The Unbreakable Machines (Brian Cage/Michael Elgin)

Well, this one didn't last long. Ciampa started the match against Elgin, and it took all of about two minutes for the Machines to smash Ciampa, knock Gargano silly on the apron, then take turns powerbombing Ciampa for the victory. Gargano ate a powerbomb when he came in to check on his partner. I'm guessing that was a way to send both of those guys on to the nxt place they'll be working. A decisive statement for the Machines, who could be heard calling for The Briscoe's after the victory.

Winners: The Unbreakable Machines


Shane Douglas comes back onto the stage and announces that in two weeks we will see a special Championship Edition of Championship Wrestling SPIKE, where all three titles will be defended. The main event will be AJ Styles defending the CWS World Heavyweight Title against Matt Sydal, and the Board has ruled that the title will change hands on a Count Out or Disqualification, and that anyone who interferes in the match will be immediately fired and banned for life from Championship Wrestling SPIKE!!


4) Timothy Thatcher vs Drew Gulak vs Biff Busick vs Zack Sabre Jr.

Elimination #1: While none of the men in this match particularly like one another, three of them seemed to share a particular disdain for one, and all three of them took turns making the life of Drew Gulak a living hell for the opening ten minutes of this match. Finally, mercifully, Biff Busick dropped him on his head with a Half and Half Suplex and put him away.

Drew Gulak is Eliminated

Elimination #2: Twenty Five minutes into this grueling war, and Biff Busick kicked out of a third rolling prawn hold attempt from Zack Sabre Jr. Sabre didn't look perturbed, knowing he was wearing Busick down. Sabre scooped Busick up, planted him with a Sabre Driver, and then waited. Allowing Busick to use his last reserves of energy to make his way to a seated position, before blasting him with a Penalty Kick, and quickly covering him for the One, Two, Three.

Biff Busick is Eliminated

Elimination #3: Holy Shit. CWS has some balls, because I guarantee you a match like this probably hasn't been seen on U.S. television since god knows when. These two went full on World of Sport with a grappling, suplexing, and striking match that lasted another twenty fives minutes and left both of them bruised and covered in welts. The reaction of the audience was interesting as at first they didn't know how to react, but by the end they were wincing at each strike, ooh'ing at each painful looking submission, and finally broke into a this is awesome chant when the two men just continued bouncing off the ropes destroying one another with European Uppercuts until they both collapsed. The end finally came when Sabre was trying to hook Thatcher for a Dragon Suplex, but Thatcher wrenched the arm, and dropped down into a Fujiwara Armbar. Sabre tapped immediately.

Zack Sabre Jr is Eliminated.


WINNER: TIMOTHY THATCHER


After the match the two men shook hands and embraced in the center of the ring to a standing ovation from the crowd.

Week 24

The show opens with Sami Callihan charging to the ring and tearing the microphone away from the ring announcer. He asks who has the guts to be the first to fight the Death Machine now that he has been released from his cage. Shane Douglas heads out onto the stage, and Callihan remarks that he has no issue destroying a Franchise. Douglas laughs and says he didn't come to fight, he came to tell Callihan that he didn't find one man to fight him...he found five! So tonight the Callihan Death Machine will be competing in a Six Man Elimination Match! Sami just screams to bring them on and chucks the microphone back at the ring announcer.


1) Sami Callihan vs ACH vs Matt Cross vs Tommy End vs Tim Donst vs PJ Black

Elimination #1: Tim Donst planted Matt Cross with the SDT, then did it again when Cross kicked out of the first one. He didn't kicked out after the second.

Matt Cross is Eliminated

Elimination #2: Sami Callihan was in the ring in a flash and plowed Tim Donst with a Forearm 2 Remember. He then ran his finger across the throat of Donst and plowed him with another Forearm, and then a third. The three count was unquestionable.

Tim Donst is Eliminated

Elimination #3: After a spectacular high flying back and forth, ACH got the advantage and connected with the Big Bang Attack to end the night of PJ Black.

PJ Black is Eliminated

Elimination #4: Tommy End marched into the ring and kicked ACH so hard in the chest that ACH flying across the ring looked like something out of Street Fighter. The Owari Death Stomp followed, and so did the pinfall.

ACH is Eliminated

Elimination #5: Tommy End and Sami Callihan went to war and it was brutal. These two hit each other with every stiff chop, punch, forearm, knee, kick, and whatever else they could use to hit each other with you could think of. It was finally Tommy End who connected with the Nephilim, then skipped the cover, waited for Callihan to get back up and obliterated him with a bicycle knee strike for the one, two, three.

Sami Callihan is Eliminated

The two exhausted men eyed one another for several seconds in the ring, and it was Tommy End who stuck out his hand in a sign of respect. Sami Callihan looked to the fans who roared approval. Callihan shook his head, and then spit in the face of Tommy End before leaving the ring.

Winner: Tommy End


2) Veda Scott presents Arrogance (Joey Ryan/Ethan Page) vs All Night Express (Rhett Titus/Kenny King)

This wasn't much of a match, because as soon as the bell rang all four men began brawling. It took about twenty seconds before it spilled out to the floor, and then it turned into an ECW style brawl all over the building and into the audience. The referee called for a double count out or a double DQ about two minutes into the match, but the fight continued until all four men were out of sight. When the inevitable no holds barred match gets sanctioned between these teams, it should be a hell of a good time!

Winners: No Contest

3) The Young Bucks vs War Machine vs The Unbreakable Machines vs Best Friends

Elimination #1: Trent got stuck in the ring and took a severe beating from Michael Elgin. Elgin seemed poised to finish him off, when Matt Jackson tagged himself in. The Bucks hit a few tandem moves, then More Bang for Your Buck finished the night of Trent.

Best Friends are Eliminated

Elimination #2: A Raymond Rowe superman punch stumbled Michael Elgin and from that point, War Machine just went to work on Elgin. To the credit of Big Mike, he kicked out of the War Machine, but when Hanson hit him with two consecutive moonsaults then took his head off with a cartwheel lariat, Elgin had nothing left to give.

The Unbreakable Machines are Eliminated

Elimination #3: War Machine was rag dolling The Young Bucks, when Hanson inadvertently knocked down the referee while tossing Matt Jackson across the ring. CWS World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles hit the ring and blasted Raymond Rowe across the back of the head with his title belt. Hanson turned around to confront Styles, and Styles smiled and slowly circled away from the big man, buying the Bucks enough time to recover and blast Hanson with a double superkick to the back of the head that sent him stumbling forward into a belt shot from Styles. Matt covered Hanson as Nick woke up the referee, and Styles quickly exited the ring.

War Machine are Eliminated

Winners: Challenging for the CWS World Tag Team Titles next week: Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks!


4) Adam Cole vs Dalton Castle

These two had been chomping at the bit to get at one another for weeks, and I don't think this match did anything to calm that. As soon as the bell rang, the two men met in the center of the ring and tied up. Adam Cole shoved Castle into the ropes and sent him to the canvas with a shoulderblock. Both of The Boys jumped up onto the ring apron, lifted their arms into the air, and shouted ADAM COLE BAYBAY. Cole fell for the distraction and before he knew it, Castle hooked him from behind and dumped him on his head with the Deadlift German Suplex. Cole was stunned and his shoulders stayed down for the One, Two, Three!!

Winner: Dalton Castle

Castle slid out of the ring and sauntered up the aisle with The Boys close behind, as Cole went from shock to realization to seething anger in the center of the ring. The show went off the air as Cole went after the referee, then began to kick chairs and turn over tables in the ringside area.

Week 25

We begin the Championship Edition of Championship Wrestling SPIKE with the drawing for the challenger for the SPIKE Television Title. Shane Douglas draws the name out of the tumbler and our first of three title matches is under way.


1) Roderick Strong (C) w/So Cal Cal vs Drew Gulak {SPIKE Television Championship}

Drew Gulak didn't look like he had totally recovered from the beating he sustained in the four way match two weeks ago as he made his way to the ring for his championship opportunity. Strong didn't make things any easier on him, because as soon as the bell rang he came across the ring like he was fired out of a cannon and turned Gulak for a complete flip with a Sick Kick. Gulak managed to kick out, but after that this match was all Roderick. The end came just a couple of minutes later when Roderick nailed End of Heartache on Gulak and covered him for the One,Two,Three.

Winner and Still SPIKE Television Champion: Roderick Strong


We are taken backstage where we see Matt Sydal doing stretches and back bends getting ready for the nights main event. We then cut to AJ Styles who is sitting in a chair with his head down listening to music, staring down at the CWS World Heavyweight Title belt.


2) The Briscoe Brothers (C) (Jay/Mark Briscoe) vs The Young Bucks (Matt/Nick Jackson) {CWS World Tag Team Championship}

Apparently the opener had to go short so that these two teams could tear the house down for twenty five solid minutes. I can't even begin to do this one justice, but it goes without saying that if it was in the arsenal of these two teams we saw it in this match. Redneck Kung Fu came out early and had Matt Jackson rocking and reeling, but the Superkick Party got started and nearly tore Mark's head off his shoulders. Jay seemed angrier than normal this evening as he tossed Young Bucks around the ring as much as he could. The end came when The Briscoe's set Matt up for the Doomsday Device, but Matt countered it by planting Jay with a reverse rana, while Nick superkicked Mark as he came off the top. A stunned Jay rolled to the floor as The Bucks hooked Mark up and planted him with The Meltzer Driver for the One, Two, Thre....JAY BREAKS IT UP!! Early Onset Alzheimers sends Jay back out to the floor, and More Bang for Your Bucks on Mark secures the victory and the titles.

Winners, and NEWWWW CWS World Tag Team Champions: Matt and Nick Jackson, THE YOUNG BUCKS!!

3) AJ Styles (C) vs Matt Sydal {CWS World Heavyweight Championship} (Title can change hands on Count Out or Disqualification)(Anyone who interferes will be fired)

Fall #1: This started as the previous encounters between these two had as a classic back and forth encounter with both men exchanging high flying and technical wrestling holds. AJ Styles took the advantage and gained a few 2 counts, but Sydal began to fight his way back when he was clotheslined to the floor by Styles. Styles quickly followed him out and the two began to brawl on the floor. The referee came out after them, and in the middle of the fist fight that had erupted, got knocked out of the way. Styles thought he saw a moment and grabbed a chair, which he slammed into the gut of Matt Sydal. The referee unfortunately for Styles saw it, and wasted no time in disqualifying Styles

Winner of Fall #1: Matt Sydal


Fall #2: Or not so unfortunately it would seem, as a big smile crossed the face of Styles as he quickly tossed Sydal back in the ring and went to work while he was still hurt. Styles was relentless, kicking Sydal in his now injured ribs, then scaling the ropes and crashing down on him with a Spiral Tap. AJ yanked Sydal to his feet, and then scored the pinfall after the Styles Clash.

Winner of Fall #2: AJ Styles


Fall #3: This time it was a surge of adrenaline from Sydal that sent him across the ring and he just laid into Sydal with punches and kicks that left the champion reeling. The Here It Is driver scored a Two and Nine Tenths that was so close the arena actually erupted in applause thinking Sydal had won the title. These two would find the fortitude to keep going for another eight minutes exchanging near falls that had the crowd on their feet and roaring. The end finally came when Styles headed up top, but was crotched by Sydal who went up top and called for a top rope frankensteiner. He got half way into the rotation, when Styles caught him, hooked him, and planted him with a Styles Clash from the second rope. There was no kicking out after that.

Winner of Fall #3, and STILL CWS World Heavyweight Champion: AJ STYLES!!


The Young Bucks are quickly in the ring, and The Bullet Club begins to celebrate with all of their titles. "Perfect Strangers" cuts off the celebration as Shane Douglas steps on to the stage and begins to speak.

"Congratulations on another succesful title defense Mr. Styles, congratulations on your championship win tonight Young Bucks. However I might suggest cutting your celebration short. Because next week, 40 men are going to compete in a Championship Wrestling SPIKE special. Were going to take a page out of the Dusty Rhodes playbook and put the names of 40 men in a hat, and we are going to randomly pick a tag team, then we are going to pick another one. Those two teams will then fight, and the winners will advance. At the end of the night, all of the winners will compete for a Golden Ticket. A ticket which will grant them a shot at any title here in Championship Wrestling SPIKE of their choosing. So next week it's definitely going to be Luck of the Draw, and you'd better Know Your Enemy."

Douglas heads backstage, as The Bullet Club looks less than happy in the ring.

The Season Finale
Luck of the Draw: Know Your Enemy

The show opens with Shane Douglas coming out to explain that tonight we will see forty men randomly divided into twenty tag teams who will compete in ten tag team matches. The winners of those matches will then go on to compete in a rumble style battle royal, where the winner will receive a Golden Ticket that will allow them to compete for any championship of their choosing here in Championship Wrestling SPIKE!


1) PJ Black/Roderick Strong vs Matt Sydal/Biff Busick

Strong and Busick started this one hot and heavy just laying into one another. Eventually Roderick had enough and tagged in PJ Black, which led to Biff tagging in Sydal. Sydal and Black had a spectacular high flying back and forth, which Black got the better of. Busick was eventually tagged in, and went toe to toe with Black for several minutes before attempting a superplex. Black shoved him off the buckles and nailed him with the 450 Splash. Busick was able to kick out, but a second 450 was too much for Biff and picked up the three count.

Winners: PJ Black and Roderick Strong


2) Chris Hero/Nick Jackson vs Tommy End/Johnny Gargano

We cut backstage where we see Johnny Gargano unconscious on the floor, and standing above him is a man holding a chair, and wearing a t-shirt that reads "Dirty Daddy." Shane Douglas and a host of refs and officials walk onto the scene, and Douglas can be heard yelling that Dickinson isn't supposed to be here until next season. Dickinson shrugs his shoulders and looks generally nonplussed at the whole situation, then mockingly says "Put me in Coach!" An angry Douglas tells him to get his ass to the ring, as he turns to attend to the injured Gargano.


2) Chris Hero/Nick Jackson vs Tommy End/Chris Dickinson

Chris Hero and Tommy End started this one and just beat the living piss out of one another for a solid eight minutes. End had the advantage and nearly pinned Hero after the Morningstar Combination, but Hero was able to kick out at the last possible second. Hero fought his way back and blasted End with the Cyclone Kill, but Tommy kicked out at two. The two warriors went back to the center of the ring and started trading again. Chris Dickinson was screaming for End to tag him in, and when Hero knocked Tommy back toward the corner, instead of tagging, Dickinson kicked End in the face and dropped off of the apron. Meanwhile Nick Jackson nearly fell over the ropes reaching Hero to tag himself in. Nick then blasted a staggered Tommy End with a superkick, and cradled him for the One, Two, Three.

Winners: Chris Hero and Nick Jackson


3) Kenny King/Chuck Taylor vs Timothy Thatcher/Ricochet

I don't think anyone saw this one coming. Timothy Thatcher shook hands with both opponents, and then his partner before exiting the ring. Ricochet then shook hands with Chuck Taylor, and as he turned to shake hands with Kenny King, King blindsided him a rolling wheel kick as the bell rang. Chuck Taylor grabbed Ricochet, planted him with the Awful Waffle and covered him, before Thatcher ever had time to react. Taylor and King celebrated as Thatcher stood on the apron shaking his head in disgust.

Winners: Kenny King/Chuck Taylor


4) Sami Callihan/Brian Cage vs Austin Aries/AJ Styles.

The opening minutes of this match saw Austin Aries grapple with both Cage and Callihan. The fans were into the action, and the build to Styles getting tagged in was well done. We got several minutes of AJ and Cage which was good action, but things got really interesting when Callihan and Styles faced off, and Sami absolutely and utterly decimated the champion for a solid five minutes, which included Styles getting spiked on a headlock driver, and nearly tapping out to the Stretch Muffler. Aries came in for the save, which drew Cage into the ring, and all hell broke hell loose. The end came when all four men were brawling on the floor, and Brian Cage smashed a chair over the head of Austin Aries, which drew a disqualification much to the chagrin of the fans in attendance.

Winners: Austin Aries and AJ Styles

When he realized what happened Sami Callihan lost his mind and annihilated Brian Cage with the same steel chair that caused them to lose the match. Callihan could be heard shouting that he has the number of AJ Styles and he wanted a title shot.


5) Tommaso Ciampa/Tim Donst vs Michael Elgin/Bobby Fish

Poor Tim Donst. Ciampa is definitely on his way out of the company, as after an initial flurry of offense, this turned into a one sided ass kicking. Fish took his time beating on Ciampa, locking him in submissions and generally treating him like a scrub, then Michael Elgin tagged in and just turned it into a display of big man power moves. The Elgin Bomb finished this one off quickly, and poor Donst never even got to tag in to the match.

Winners: Michael Elgin/Bobby Fish


6) Rhett Titus/Joey Ryan vs Silas Young/Trent Baretta

Not sure about following one quick match with another, but Rhett Titus and Joey Ryan were already shoving one another by the time the opponents made it to the ring, and tempers boiled seconds after the bell rang, and the fist fight broke out. Trent and Silas had no qualms about standing back and watching as Ryan and Titus brawled out of the ring and all over the ringside area, completely oblivious to the fact that the referee was administering the twenty count the whole time. Ryan and Titus disappeared behind the curtain, just as the ref raised the hands of Young and Baretta.

Winners: Silas Young and Trent Baretta


7) Drew Galloway/Hanson vs Ethan Page/Willie Mack

This looked like another one sided affair in the making, but Page and Mack weren't going down without a fight. Hanson and Page started off, and while Hanson had the upper hand for most of it, Page was able to hold his own and get flurries of offense. Mack got tagged in after several minutes and the chop off between he and Hanson was particularly brutal. Hanson tagged in Galloway who was raring to go, and he didn't disappoint, running wild on Mack. A big boot from Galloway turned Mack inside out, and Ethan Page got one of his own when he tried to interfere. Galloway's Double Arm DDT planted Willie Mack and secured the victory for his team. Mack had to be helped from the ring after the match.

Winners: Drew Galloway and Hanson


8) Dalton Castle/Kyle O'Reilly vs Adam Cole/Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander and Dalton Castle started this one and had a fantastic back and forth, exchanging several near falls and bringing the fans to their feet more than once. O'Reilly tagged in and worked over an exhausted Alexander for quite a while, but eventually Cedric tagged in Cole. Cole and O'Reilly wrestled for all of about thirty seconds, and Kyle tagged Castle back in. Cole wanted no part of it, and tagged a still exhausted Alexander back in, who fell victim to frequent tags from O'Reilly and Castle. Cole look totally disinterested in mixing it up with Castle in this environment, even dropping off the apron to "tie his boot" at one point when Cedric tried to tag. The end came when Kyle locked on ARMageddon, and Alexander had no choice but to tap out.

Winners: Dalton Castle and Kyle O'Reilly


9) Drew Gulak/Matt Jackson vs ACH/Rowe

Gulak and ACH were the first men in the ring and Gulak was able to ground the high flyer for several minutes with his ground based offense. ACH was able to power out of a submission attempt and blasted Gulak in the face with a kick. All four men were in and out for several minutes until we settled on Rowe and Matt Jackson in the ring. Jackson attempted all of his high flying, and heel antics to very little effect on Raymond Rowe. Rowe finally had enough and just began destroying Jackson with power offense. The Death Rowe put Matt Jackson down, and ACH came across the ring like lightning to stop Gulak from interfering, and Rowe pinned Jackson to advance.

Winners: Raymond Rowe and ACH


10) Matt Cross/Mark Briscoe vs Jay Briscoe/Zack Sabre Jr

Jay and Mark Briscoe started this one as any brothers would, punching each other hard in the face. The crowd was going wild as the Briscoe's bashed one another, and then Matt Cross blind tagged Mark much to the disdain of the crowd and Jay. He also paid for it, as Jay blasted his face off his head with a yakuza kick. Jay continued beating on Cross for several minutes before tagging in Sabre who went to work. Cross tried desperately to escape the grasp of Zack Sabre Jr, but the technical wizard would not let up and hooked Matt Cross in the Cross Armbreaker in the center of the ring. Cross had no choice but to tap out.

Winners: Jay Briscoe and Zack Sabre Jr.

Elimination #4: Hanson was too close to the ropes as Strong hit the ring, and Roderick hoisted him up and over.

Entrant #11: Kyle O'Reilly

Elimination #5: Kyle O'Reilly hits the ring and goes right after PJ Black, and never notices as Zack Sabre Jr catches him in a waistlock and dumps him backwards over the top to the floor.

Elimination #6: Zack Sabre Jr has no time to celebrate his elimination, as a PJ Black spin kick blasts him in the chin and sends him out of the ring.

Elimination #7: Michael Elgin fell victim to the tandem of Roderick Strong and Silas Young who got him in a corner and battered him with chops before dumping him out of the ring.

Elimination #8: Roderick Strong made the fatal mistake of turning to high five Silas Young and instead got punched in his face, then clotheslined out of the ring.

Elimination #9: Raymond Rowe stepped into a ring full of guys smaller than himself, and they all decided that was bad news for themselves. They teams up and worked the big man to the ropes, and dumped him to the floor.

Elimination #10: AJ Styles and Nick Jackson were doing a number on ACH next to the ropes, when Austin Aries came flying out of nowhere with a dropkick that caught AJ Styles in the back of the head and sent him flying out of the ring.

Entrant #20: Trent Baretta

Elimination #11: Kenny King got nailed in the back of the head by a huge Chris Hero elbow, and was then tossed unceromoniously to the floor.

Elimination #12: Silas Young was exhausted and tried to go after the man he defeated a few weeks back in Chris Hero. He ate a Deathblow for his troubles and got tossed to the floor.

Elimination #13: Nick Jackson was warming up for a Superkick Party on Trent Baretta and never saw Jay Briscoe stalking him. Just as Nick began his forward momentum, Jay grabbed the back of his tights and chucked him to the floor.

Elimination #14: Trent Baretta turned around to see Jay Briscoe saving him from getting blasted with a Superkick, and never saw the ACH dropkick that caught him on the side of the head and sent him sprawling out of the ring.

Elimination #15: Dalton Castle was close to dumping PJ Black out of the match, when Austin Aries decided to try dumping them both. Black managed to hold on, but Castle tumbled to the floor.

Elimination #16: PJ Black got back into the ring and was almost immediately met with a Chris Hero mafia kick that sent him out of the ring and too the floor.

Elimination #17: Jay Briscoe attempted to double clothesline Austin Aries and ACH out of the ring, but they ducked and nailed Jay with a double superkick that sent him to the floor.

Elimination #18: ACH was grabbed by Aries as he watched Briscoe hit the floor and sent out right after him, nearly landing on Briscoe as he sailed to the floor.

Elimination #19: Austin Aries turned around and was met with a Chris Hero mafia kick that staggered him back into the ropes. Hero then hit a rolling elbow that left Aries out on his feet. A simple clothesline later and Aries feet hit the floor.

As season one of Championship Wrestling SPIKE comes to an end, we see Shane Douglas come to the ring and present a sweat drenched Chris Hero with a golden envelope.

The Championship Wrestling SPIKE website was updated today for the first time since the end of Season 1. The following information was posted.

-In the off season the SPIKE Television Title rules have been slightly overhauled. The title will still be defended every other week. The challenger will still be randomly drawn as before. The matches will still be contested with a 10 minute time limit. Challengers can still be eliminated by defeat or time limit draw. With 36 eligible challengers (the Champion, along with the CWS World and Tag Champions do not count) there is now a monetary reward system in place for the champion. At 5 victories, the champion is awarded a bonus of $5000. At 10 victories, the champion is award a bonus of $20,000. At 20 victories, the champion is awarded a bonus of $50,000. At 30 victories, the champion is awarded a bonus of $100,000. If the champion manages to clear out the whole pool of 36 contenders, he will be immediately awarded $500,000 dollars and a shot at the CWS World Heavyweight Championship.-

Roderick Strong currently stands at 6 victories, and will be presented a check for $5000 at the CWS Season 2 premier.

-Shane Douglas announced on Twitter today that he has mutually parted ways with Championship Wrestling SPIKE. In answering questions from his followers, it does not seem that there is any animosity between Douglas and the promotion.

-The Wrestling Onlooker newsletter is reporting that when the promotion was initially launched, all of the talents were signed to contracts to cover only the first season in case of cancellation. Those contracts are currently being renogotiated, and several releases are expected to be announced soon.

-Take this one with a grain of salt, but rumors are swirling that a long retired indy darling from the mid-2000's is looking to make his return with Championship Wrestling SPIKE. Several names are being tossed around, each one more ridiculous than the last.

News broke today that Championship Wrestling SPIKE has parted ways with several members of the roster that they used during their first season. As we heard previously, all members of the talent roster had been signed to deals to cover the initial season, and now that the show has been renewed for a second season, negotiations are under way with the remaining members of the roster. We have also learned that negotiations are ongoing with several new talents as well.

We can confirm that the following talents have been told that they will not be returning:

Rhett Titus
Kenny King
Tim Donst
ACH
Joey Ryan
Ethan Page
Willie Mack

We have also learned that Ricochet was offered a contract, but has chosen not to return for the second season.
