Championship Wrestling SPIKE Season 2
Week 9
Night 2
1) The Young Bucks (Matt/Nick Jackson) vs Tracy Williams/Fred Yehi {
CWS World Tag Team Championship}
The opening of this match was Matt and Nick destroying Fred Yehi with Early Onset Alzheimer's which left him in a heap on the floor. Tracy Williams then fought valiantly against the Bucks, apparently trying to prove a point that it wasn't him who made the match last night so damn boring. He managed to use hard strikes and some awesome submissions to slow the Jackson brothers down, but eventually they proved too much. More Bang for Your Buck would put Williams down, another double superkick to a recovering Yehi to keep him out of the picture, and this one was all over.

2) Kings of Flight (Matt Sydal/Will O'Spreay) vs Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero/Trent Baretta)
Someone must have forgot to tell these guys that the winners would have to wrestle again tonight, as all four of them went balls to the wall in this one. I mean this one was non-stop from the opening bell, with O'Spreay flying all over the damn place, Romero throwing corner clotheslines to both opponent until he almost passed out, Trent attempting to fly like the Kings, and Sydal showing why he will always be one of the smoothest guys in the business. The end of this twenty minute war, came when Romero and Trent were double teaming O'Spreay in the ring, and Sydal came sailing out of nowhere and smashed Trent with a spinning kick. Romero stared momentarily in shock, and O'Spreay popped up and planted him directly on the top of his head with a reverse frankensteiner. Sydal tackled Baretta as O'Spreay covered Romero for the One, Two, Three.

3) The Unbreakable Machines (Michael Elgin/Brian Cage) vs The Pretty Boy Killers (Keith Lee/Shane Taylor)
This started off a little on the slow side when Shane Taylor was in the ring, but once Keith Lee tagged in things picked up and it was just a bunch of hosses beating the piss out of each other and doing moves that guys that size shouldn't be doing, especially not to one another. It looks like the PBK were going to take the match when Lee hit the Spirit Bomb on Brian Cage, but Elgin made the save. The end came when Elgin nearly tore the head off of Shane Taylor with a lariat. He then tagged in Brian Cage, who may have torn the head totally off with a discus lariat. Cage covered for the pinfall.
The Unbreakable Machines advance to the Semi-FinalsAfter the match, Keith Lee nailed Shane Taylor with a big boot and tossed him out of the ring. He raised both arms into the air and got a huge reaction from the crowd who obviously appreciated his efforts.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) The Briscoe Brothers (Jay/Mark Briscoe) vs Veda Scott's Twin Engines of Destruction (Donovan Dijak/Damien Martinez)
This was just about what you expected it to be, a knock down, drag out fight. Dijak and Martinez started off working over Mark, but Mark was able to fight back and tag in Jay. Jay was having none of that being taller is an advantage crap, and just hammered both of the big men with massive punches and clotheslines. Things broke down with all four guys brawling inside of the ring, and then the action spilled out to the floor. Martinez got the best of Mark and hurled him over the guard rail with a huge toss that literally sent him into the second row. On the other side of the ring, Jay was smashing Dijak with punch after punch after punch. Jay turned his attention to go after Martinez, and Dijak came off the floor and blasted Jay in the back with a huge chair shot. The referee immediately called for the disqualification.
The Briscoe Brothers advance to the Semi-FinalsDijak and Martinez swarmed Jay Briscoe and each grabbed an arm, hoisting him into the air for a huge double crucifix powerbomb and sent him crashing through a table at ringside.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A video package plays announcing that "All Ego" Ethan Page will be making his return to Championship Wrestling SPIKE, and this time he won't have a tag team partner holding him back. He'll only have his skill, and his Ego to take him right to the top.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) The Young Bucks (Matt/Nick Jackson) vs Kings of Flight (Matt Sydal/Will O'Spreay) {
CWS World Tag Team Championship}
As expected, even with all four guys having already gone tonight, this match was awesome. Lots of high flying, a ton of superkicks from all four guys, but it was the ending that proved to be interesting. Matt Sydal headed out to the apron to attempt a springboard, and was met with an Early Onset Alzheimer's double superkick that sent him sailing off the apron and into the guard rail. O'Spreay charged the Bucks who sidestepped him and sent him into the ropes, then grabbed him and bealed him across the ring. O'Spreay's foot clipped the referee and sent him to the canvas, and Nick Jackson immediately began to smile. Matt scooped O'Spreay up into position for a tombstone, as Nick quickly went to the floor and grabbed a steel chair. He quickly smashed a recovering Sydal across the back with it, then slid it into the ring where Matt could position the head of O'Spreay over it. Nick then climbed onto the apron, and turned to the crowd to shout out "MELTZER DEATH DRIVER!!." He never saw Lio Rush charging the ring with a steel chair of his own, which he cracked across the back of Matt Jackson, who crumbled to the mat with O'Spreay. Nick turned around, only to be smashed in the head with a steel chair by Rush. Nick took a Nestea plunge to the floor, as Rush shook with anger in the ring. Lio turned back around and blasted a recovering Matt a second time with the chair. Unfortunately, the referee had recovered enough to see this one and called for the DQ.
The Young Bucks advance to the FinalsA host of officials and referees come to the ring and restrain Lio Rush, and help the four competitors in the match to the back.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) The Unbreakable Machines (Michael Elgin/Brian Cage) vs The Briscoe Brothers (Jay/Mark Briscoe)
This match didn't last long, as Jay Briscoe was in no shape to compete, and Mark wasn't in much better shape. Add to that fact that the opponents were Brian Cage and Michael Elgin, and you can see how this wouldn't go so well for Dem Boyz. Not to say that they didn't try. They fought the best they could, but the Machines just used size and power to dominate them at every turn, and finally it was Elgin who powerbombed Mark several times in a row, clotheslined Jay off the apron, then covered Mark for the three count.
The Unbreakable Machines advance to the Finals---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt and Nick Jackson rush the ring and both dive into the back of the knees of Brian Cage who was having his arms raised by the referee. Michael Elgin clotheslines Matt Jackson, and turns to square off with Nick as the bell rings for the tournament final!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) The Young Bucks (Matt/Nick Jackson) vs The Unbreakable Machines (Michael Elgin/Brian Cage) {
CWS World Tag Team Championship}
Michael Elgin went to war with The Young Bucks while his partner recovered on the floor. The easier road to the finals of The Machines was a huge help to Elgin who rag dolled both Jackson brothers for several minutes, gaining several near falls on both. Eventually the numbers game caught up to him and The Bucks nearly took the match when they caught Elgin with the Indytaker, but Brian Cage jumped into the ring and made the save at the last possible second. Elgin made the hot tag, and Cage proved why he is the "fing Machine" by going nuts and destroying both Bucks with discus lariats, huge tosses, and nearly pinning Matt with Weapon X. The Bucks continued to survive, and thrive, nearly taking Cage out with the Early Onset Alzheimer's but he managed to make the ropes. Once Elgin got tagged back in, things got violent as he clotheslined Nick off the apron and sent him sailing hard into the guard rail. Matt caught him with a superkick as he turned around and it sent Elgin into the corner. Matt put him on the top rope and went up for a top rope frankensteiner, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The Avalance Elgin Bomb brought the crowd to its feet, and sent Matt crashing into the canvas. Cage being a crazy person did a running flip off the apron to take out a recovering Nick, and Elgin covered Matt for the One, Two, Three!!!
Winners, and NEWWWW CWS World Tag Team Champions: Michael Elgin and Brian Cage.....THE UNBREAKABLE MACHINES!!!!The show goes off the air as Cage and Elgin stand on opposite turnbuckles raising the CWS World Tag Team Titles into the air.
