So now we await more information about the colorization of Legends...

Great interview! I always enjoy hearing the stories that surround how wrestlers join the game.

Very interesting interview... And who knows? Maybe some wrestlers out there will hear the solid reasoning behind some of the points made... I cannot fathom why anyone would not want to be immortalized in this game... What could possibly be the drawback? Great exposure for FG!

Very interesting interview... And who knows? Maybe some wrestlers out there will hear the solid reasoning behind some of the points made... I cannot fathom why anyone would not want to be immortalized in this game... What could possibly be the drawback? Great exposure for FG! I don't know whether Tom ever pays any wrestlers to be in the game but I can understand some bigger name wrestlers probably expect something. It's not like Hogan is looking at the game as a way to get his name out there more. Some could also want to be careful with how their image is handled. I had also heard some bad stuff about the Legends of Wrestling video game from quite a few years back. Sounds like the company that made it screwed some wrestlers and their families over. somehow. This sort of thing could definitely make some people wary to work with a game company again. I think there's a lot of reasons why a wrestler could NOT want to be a part of it, it might just take a little more persuading or explanation of what the game is really about. If I remember right, Lou Thesz had said no a while back but his wife said yes with the agreement that FG would do something to help out the CAC or PWHF or something. I don't remember specifics but she seemed to understand that this was a group of people who would honor her husband's memory and also wanted to help out another good cause.

A lot of old school wrestlers were often screwed by promoters back in the day and are very leery of things. Families might be worried about how their loved one is handled.
Legends going color, not surprised (I predicted this before the Con) but I'm not sure how fast I'll convert unless there's some significant changes.

I've never gotten into legends specifically because it isn't color. I started with the Chikara set,and I don't really have an interest in running a Chikara,a ROH,a Shimmer, etc.,so when I get guys from various promotions I put them all together into my own storyline. I know legends cards are compatible with the color Indy cards, but I'm a little OCD. So the only legend card I've bought is for Savage. (Still need to get Janetty Beefcake and Valentine.) I've amassed some B&W legends through the free cards you get with your order, and I've played some matches for the hell of it,but I don't have a title or anything.
Now hopefully I can get Piper and the Road Warriors in my fed! Or id really like Tyler Black and Dean Ambrose. Or sandman vs Sabu!
One thing I hope they don't do is put a lot of filler cards in the set like they do with the B&W legends. I don't mind paying more for better looking cards, but so many of these guys are just regional people I've never heard of.
