Holy sh*t! What an awesome night at PWG- definitely the best show of the year so far.
I flew in after work and Cman picked me up at my Burbank airport hotel and then we went to PWG where the line was all the way back to the dumpsters, but thankfully I saw some friends I knew standing in the front of the GA line so we didn't have to wait that long to get inside the Legion Hall.
Me and Cman sat in the second row with my friends Ryan and Mary and behind my friend Joe who helped save our seats for us tonight. I am very fortunate to have such friends. In the front row not too far away sat Dave Meltzer and in the 3rd row on the next side of the ring Victoria/Lisa Marie Varon was in the crowd.
Before the show started I got to talk to Zack Sabre Jr. (tonight I wore my ZSJ shirt that I bought from him in June- the shirt is about his awesome match vs Roderick Strong at PWG back in April) about his recent match in EVOLVE against Roderick Strong that I liked so much. Later in the 6 man tag main event, ZSJ and Roderick Strong went at it again and the two of them together are definitely my favorite current wrestling matchup. But I forgot to tell ZSJ that he recently won the ROV TV Championship in my ROV fed, I'll have to tell him tomorrow night.
Also, before the show, I got to talk to Chris Hero. I told Hero that his Sonics styled gear is honestly my personal favorite wrestling gear of all time. Hero told me about the other NBA styled team gear he wears (I've seen theam all except for I believe the Denver Nuggets styled gear) and Hero told me something else cool might be coming soon.
I managed to make 4 signings to the game tonight. All great names, I'm hoping to get some more on Saturday and/or Sunday.

Melissa Santos from Lucha Underground is the new PWG ring announcer, Chuck Taylor did commentary for the first few matches with Excalibur (a good commentary team, I have been using Excalibur and Chuck Taylor on commentary together for some of my ROV shows since Excalibur's card was released in Promoter Prime back in June.)
Brian Cage defeated Aero Star in a first round match. Good opening match.
Biff Busick defeated Andrew Everett in a first round match.
Will Ospray defeated Mark Andrews in a first round match. What an awesome match- just absolutely incredible!
Angelico and Jack Evans defeated Inner City Machine Guns
Pentagon Jr. defeated Drago in a first round match. Another absolutely insanely bada*s match!
Trevor Lee defeated Trent? in a first round match.
Matt Sydal defeated Fenix in a first round match. I talked briefly to Sydal before the show and he said this match was going to be good and it was truly mind blowing. Fenix did some things I really don't think I have ever seen before at PWG or any live event. You need to see this match when the BOLA DVDs gets released, I count myself fortunate I was in attendance for it.
In the main event, PWG World Champion Roderick Strong and PWG World Tag Team Champions Young Bucks defeated Euro Trash: Zack Sabre Jr., "Party" Marty Scurll, and Tommy End. Roderick Strong got into the ring and immediately shoved ZSJ in the chest and it was on, these guys really beat the hell out of each other in tonight's main event. I thought ZSJ might pin or make Roderick submit to help set up a future title match, but Mount Rushmore 2.0 got the victory tonight.
Afterward, Cman drove me back to my hotel- but we had to make like 5 different stops to find a location selling beer (thankfully this 24 hour CVS was still selling beer.)
