BOLA Night 3 recap

[Vegas]

This will be a shorter recap that the ones I did for Nights 1 and 2 as I have to wake up early to catch my flight back to Las Vegas.

Jack Evans defeated Brian Cage in a Quarter-Finals match, I admit I was a little surprised by this result.

Chris Hero defeated Biff Busick in a Quarter-Finals match.

Marty Scurll defeated Trevor Lee via his CHICKEN WING in a Quarter-Finals match.

Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Pentagon Jr. in a Quarter-Finals match. This was the best match before Intermission IMO.

Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Tommy End in a Quarter-Finals match

Will Ospreay defeated Matt Sydal in a Quarter-Finals match

Intermission. Somebody sent the fans about 20 boxes of free pizza outside the Legion Hall and I enjoyed eating a slice of that pizza.

Mount Rushmore 2.0 defeated Inner City Machine Guns, Angelico, and Fenix. Super Dragon apparently got hurt during this match and he did not finish this match.

Chris Hero defeated Jack Evans in a Semi-Finals match

Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Will Ospreay in a Semi-Finals match

Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Marty Scurll in a Semi-Finals match filled with comedy.

The 5 Man Band of Drew Galloway, Drew Gulak, Chuck Taylor, Trent?, and Aero Star defeated Timothy Thatcher, Mark Andrews, Andrew Everett, Tommaso Ciampa, and Drago
PWG has alot of newer fans who obviously have never attended or even seen on DVD a BOLA as they started a chant of "What is happening?" when all these wrestlers started coming to the ring despite it being a BOLA tradition that there is a large multi person tag match of wrestlers who lost in the first round on the final night of BOLA.

In the Finals: Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Chris Hero and Speedball Mike Bailey
Unlike last year's triple threat BOLA finals, this year the 3 way BOLA finals went back to BOLA tradition of being an elimination match with Bailey getting eliminated first and then Hero tapping out to ZSJ. Afterward, PWG World Champion Roderick Strong appeared to help set up another title defense against ZSJ who gets another title shot by winning BOLA. Zack Sabre Jr. also said something to the crowd about moving to California.

Afterward, despite the earlier start, it was still already about Midnight and Cman dropped me off back at my hotel after first stopping at a 7-11 for a few beers and at a 24 hour Subway since (except for that slice of pizza) I hadn't really eaten in almost 12 hours.

I had a great time spending these 3 days in California- 3 days of PWG's BOLA (best wrestling in the country and I made 5 signings to the game,) Galactical (and winning the Gaactical Cup for the 2nd time,) and again seeing friends such as Grant, Cman, Thormassive, and many other friends not here in our community! August had two of the best weekends of the year for me- Cleveland with Geekfest 2 weeks ago and Los Angeles with BOLA/Galactical this weekend! Looking forward to next year's BOLA weekend!

It sounds like you had an awesome weekend Vegas, I may have to purchase the DVD's for this tournament. You also made five signings for the game so all is good in the world

yes, it was Max Landis who unexpectedly paid for all of those pizzas that were delivered outside of the Legion Hall right before Intermission last night. They said the name, I just couldn't remember it. In addition to the fans, wrestlers such as Tommy End and referee Rick Knox also went outside last night at Intermission to get some of that free pizza.

I was waiting until I got home, but I had an awesome time in California last week. BOLA weekend was awesome as usual and GCal was great too. I really enjoyed Night 1, being it was the beginning of the tournament and everything else going on. Night 2 was even better and I really liked the Guerrilla Warfare Six man match. They went all over the place and of course nobody was sitting down. Sadly on Sunday somebody broke two chairs before the show started so I had to stand in the back. I still enjoyed the show and I am already planning for next year. It was of course great hanging out with Vegas all weekend, and having fun at GCal, even though I didnt win anything on my Birthday.
