So I've been exclusively a LOW player for a dozen or so years, but I'm seriously considering adding Shimmer as a change of pace. I've always wanted to run a woman's promotion.
At this point, I would likely order the PDF's, but I'm just a bit wary because of comments posted on other threads about problems printing such files (card fronts and backs not being correctly aligned, etc.)
Anybody on here have the Shimmer PDF's? Are they formatted properly for printing? Are they identical to the printed cards in appearance? Any differences in how they look, however minor?
Thanks for your input.

I have them for sure and I haven't ran into any problems that I know of.

for the pdfs in general, instead of going to a chain print shop such as Fed Ex/Kinkos or to Office Max (where I am often not pleased with the results,) I now instead take mine to a professional print shop here in Las Vegas where I think the cost is actually about the same as at an Office Max AND they even professionally cut the cards for me too and they come out perfect in terms of: alignment (fronts and backs perfectly matched up) card stock (at least as far as I can tell) card size (same exact size as all the other cards and they also fit perfectly in my plastic sleeves) glossiness being cut perfectly on the borders and all that only costs me about $1/card, I usually give them one of the bonus/extra color cards that I already owned and that we receive in our orders to use as an example for them as they produce my order (and my order is usually just 1-2 cards and they are willing to do even small orders such as that) My only issue is getting there as they are not open on weekends, their operating hours are only slightly longer than my work hours, and because they usually have back orders I often have to leave the flash drive I use for my pdfs with them and pick up my order the next day or later in the week. But it is so worth it and I am going there this week to get my copy of the Chri$ Ca$h card from Promoter Prime printed so I can return to running my Combat Vegas Wrestling (CVW) fed- I need Chri$ Ca$h for my Tournament of Death II show.

I know that in Canada it is hard to get PDF's printed correctly. Especially the ones that have four on a page. It's an issue with margin widths. My friends printed the Shimmer cards, but they didn't listen to me and printed them themselves and they didn't turn out at all.
I take all my PDF printing needs to a local print shop and the girl who works there does absolute wonders when it comes to printing them for me. When given the choice I always go for the official printed cards, even if I have to wait a little longer to get them

If you are interested in Shimmer and concerned about PDF printing, why not just order the printed cards? Shimmer isn't exclusive to PDF.

If you are interested in Shimmer and concerned about PDF printing, why not just order the printed cards? Shimmer isn't exclusive to PDF. The PDF's are a great bargain if you can live with the quality of a home-printed card. The two Shimmer PDF's are about half the cost of the two printed sets when you add in shipping costs.

Well, you'll get no argument from me there. I purchased the PDFs myself. I just wanted to make sure you weren't thinking they were PDF only or something. Carry on...

If I can impose again, I have one other question about the PDF's.
I've been assuming they are laid out with one card front or back per page. Is that a correct assumption? Or are they laid out four to a page?
This is an important question for me since I cannot correctly print 4 cards-per-page at home because of PDF margin issues.
