Maybe your choice fluctuates from time to time, but overall do you prefer MARVEL or do you prefer DC?

I was a huge marvel fan until recently... Not liking most if the titles and it seems like if sales go down then they smack an X in the title.
I have loved Harley Quinn and the Green Lantern mostly...

Are we talking comics or movies here? overall, so both Too tough for me to call. Movies - Marvel is by and far superior. Comics - Marvel has the better characters and some of the best writers but the MU has no focus or consistency. A few Marvel titles are better than anything DC is doing but DC's entire line is better than Marvels. I could go into greater depth here but won't. It's a wash for me at the moment.

I've always been a Marvel fan. I like some of DC's characters, Batman being a big favorite of mine, but a lot of DC's comics have involved a lot of intergalactic storylines and that really just isn't my thing. On the Marvel side, I LOVE X-Men, Avengers, Captain America, Daredevil, Hulk, Punisher... the list goes on and on. It has been a good number of years since I've really stayed up on too much recent comics but I've been enjoying getting caught up on it all using Marvel Unlimited. Uncanny X-Men #600 comes out in a few weeks and that will likely be the first comic I buy outright in quite some time. Make mine Marvel.

I've been a fan of both companies over the years, now when it comes to movies I think Marvel has been the best at that, but I am excited for the Suicide Squad film for sure. DC seems to be a TV company and their current and upcoming series are really top of the line entertainment. Now on the Comic Book end, I will always be a DC fan and my favorite two books are Batman Beyond and Gotham by Midnight. So in the end I voted DC Comics...

I really agree with this, especially about MARVEL having superior movies (despite also really liking the Batman trio.) Definitely a tough call, which is why I was interested to see what the community thinks.

I like MARVEL UNLIMITED alot too, it is a great deal for just $10/month and I really wish DC had something similar.

So in the end I voted DC Comics... unfortunately I don't get to see those shows because I don't get local channels because of the position/way my satellite dish has to be set up, but at Best Buy last week, I did see they were selling all 3 seasons of Arrow, the first season of Flash, and the first season of Gotham. Which one of those shows would you guys recommend the most? Also, are any of those shows also available on Netflix? in addition to comparing the companies by comic books and movies, when it comes to video games I would personally give the edge to DC (although I am not a video game expert, I would rather roll the dice.) Also, looking forward to going back to the DC store at Magic Mountain next month (an annual 24 hour trip I have to make for work every November.)
