Superb victory for Danielson and Black in the main event...
Just like everyone else, I was hoping for more out of the eight-man tag extravaganza... But, it was kinda cool to see Acid on fire...
Aries vs Hero is another confrontation that I thought had some promise... Other than his opening chairshot, A-Double was rendered rather ineffective...
Congrats to the new Commonwealth Champion, Colt Cabana... And of nothing else, we get some solid buildup for the future...
Fun times!

I liked the tag team main event in Welland with Black & Danielson over Hodge & Lyons. That was a statement win for Black who could be the next challenger for Hodge although I'm sure that the "American Dragon" wants that chance as well. The eight-man tag and the Commonwealth title win by Colt Cabana over Stevie Richards were short but notable. Congrats to Cabana on grabbing championship gold. The rest of the show was really good and I liked the wins by the Killer Bees and Iron Mike Dibiase.

PG-13 vs. Backseat Boyz in a Loser Leaves Town Steel Cage Match should be awesome. Classic old school booking there. The London Gardens should be rocking for that huge card.

Austin Aries v. Iron Mike DiBiase Aries gets the majority of the heat and then jumps DiBiase before the bell. Aries attempts a figure four but DiBiase counters and uses a body slam for a one count and then connects with a TOP ROPE KNEE DROP for a near fall. A second TOP ROPE KNEE DROP should have ended it but Aries gets the shoulder up at the last second. It is all DiBiase until the action goes to the floor and Aries runs DiBiase into the ring post. DiBiase is busted open and Aries finally goes on the offensive. Deathjump clothesline sets of LAST CHANCERY. DiBiase battles out, Aries with a frog splash and Heat-Seeking Missile sending DiBiase to the floor. LAST CHANCERY squeezes the crimson from DiBiase but does not end the bout. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) Credible opens with a slap to the face but Blair somehow keeps his cool going straight to a waistlock takedown to get control. Blair crushes Credible into the mat with a full nelson suplex (ch) and Credible rolls to the floor. Blair is out after him and the Bees combine a double atomic drop that spills into the ring post. The fans love it. Richards is all over the official as the action returns to the ring. SLEEPER HOLD and Credible is done (Snake Eyes!). (1.5)

Jimmy Valiant w/Captain Lou Albano v. βBulletβ Bob Armstrong The fans are anticipating some fireworks from this one. The action opens up with both men crossing the ropes, dropping down, ducking under and Armstrong countering a backdrop with a piledriver. Armstrong nails a deathjump clothesline. Valiant slows things down with a figure four leglock allowing Albano some time to work the heat. Brawling on the floor and the fans love it. Armstrong stumbles to his feet and into a cross body deathjump from Valiant to finally get the win. (2.0)
Chris Hero v. Tyler Black Both of these frequent tag team partners are poised to make a run for the top of the singles rankings as well and will need to go through each other to get there. Hero attempts to jump Black at ringside but Black turns things around and Hero eats the announce table. Great offense from Black. Black hits a superkick and then nails a slingshot in the corner. Hero goes down hard and Black hits a PHEONIX SPLASH (3) to get the one sided victory (1.0).
Canadian Heavyweight Championship β Danny Hodge (ch) v. Bryan Danielson Both men go to work from the outset leading to Danielson hitting a crushing full nelson suplex for a one count. They go to the floor and Danielson assaults with kicks. Hodge is nearly counted out. Danielson is on a mission and Hodge has no announcers as the kicks continued to connect as do the dives and suplexes. Hodge bails to the floor a couple of times but cannot break the momentum of the challenger. CATTLE MUTILATION but Hodge survives. Danielson with a chair shot across the back on the floor and fans are all over him. Hodge barely regains the ring. CATTLE MUTILATION. Hodge has no counter and we have new champion. The American Dragon dominates almost the entire bout to claim the federations top prize (2.0)
Loser Leaves Town Steel Cage Match β PG 13 (Wolfie D. & J. C. Ice) v. Backseat Boyz (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) The referee steps inside ropes so it is pinfall or submission in this one. Losing teams leaves the territory for at least 90 days. PG 13 manages to cut off Acid early on and work him over including Hood Attack. Kashmere gets in but struggles. PG 13 steps things up when Acid gets back into the action including a sitout power bomb from D. and a double bulldog. Acid counters a backdrop with a piledriver and D. is reeling. Kashmere blocks Ice and Acid hooks the leg. 1, 2, kick out! Acid mounts the top for a deathjump cross body block. 1, 2, ΒΎ count. Damn that was close. Dream Sequence 2002 has the fans roaring. D. goes into the cage wall again but lands close to his corner and gets the tag. Double elbows slow the Boyz down but Kashmere gets the tag out after a DDT sends him towards his own corner. Ice uses his martial arts against both Boyz with some success. Irish whips into the corner punish Kashmere but a third results with Kashmere catching Ice with a stiff elbow. CRADLE BREAKER. Ice barely kicks out. Boyz with the second Dream Sequence 2002 of the match. Ice is able to get the tag after a presslam by Acid. D. holds the advantage long enough to allow Ice a quick breather before he tags back in and goes to work. Acid drops Ice with a shoulder tackle and puts him to the mat with a top rope hurcanrana for a near fall. Kashmere is in and connects with a CRADLE BREAKER but only gets two. Another CRADLE BREAKER and again Ice gets the shoulder up. The fans cannot believe it and the Boyz are clearly frazzled wondering how to put their opponents away. Acid has the answer in the form of an ACID BOMB. 1, 2, 3. PG 13 are history! (3.5)

The encounter between Aries and Iron Mike was worth the price of admission alone... Very cool to see A-Double chalking up another win...
The Killer Bees combined for some excitement... One of the first teams I ever watched as a kid and it's always kinda neat to see them in action...
Big win for Tyler Black... Although it was unfortunate to see him up against his casual tag team partner... Would like to see how this duo fares if given a chance to shine...
Congrats to the American Dragon on taking the top prize... And doing it with authority!
Very pleased that Acid & Kashmere still have a job with the company... Too bad that it marks the end of a fantastic rivalry... The contest may have only ranked 3.5 stars, but from a fan's standpoint, it was all I had hoped for...
Excellent show!

More brilliant highlights and since great hype for upcoming events...
Can't wait to see Aries get his shot at Cabana and the Commonwealth title... Hoping he takes the gold... And watching him team up with Danielson against Cabana & Hodge should be right on...
Also looking forward to the Backseat Boys getting a chance to be number one contenders... But, the Bees are undefeated and might prove to be a tough hurdle...
Truly entertaining, as always!

Bob Armstrongβs chops get the fans back into the action and have Jimmy Valiant reeling. The action goes to the floor and Bob Armstrong runs Jimmy Valiant into the ring side rails busting him open.
