I assume this will be a Chikara only event again? Primarily Chikara yes. Unfortunately we wont see another event like the first NPWD again.

I would say no but you can never say never in wrestling
You don't know what will happen down the road

I agree, never say never in wrestling. But I would say its doubtful we'll see an event like that again, atleast run by Chikara.

I'll be happy if they actually broadcast it this year.

I'll be happy if they actually broadcast it this year. Me too, but I'm not holding my breath. With the video in house and Chikaratopia showing everything, they are not doing any live streaming. Even the season finale in a couple weeks will be the first in a while not on iPPV.

Even the season finale in a couple weeks will be the first in a while not on iPPV. Which, quite frankly, isn't doing much to warm me up to their product again. Not so much the season finale but the whole point of National Pro Wrestling Day was to put on a show that everybody, both those present and those online, could watch for free. It doesn't have to be as big a show as the original but they should at least broadcast it for everybody.

And since it's a fundraiser of sorts (right?), they can reach a lot more pocketbooks than just those in the arena.
