Scotty 2 Hotty never got a legal tag and was DQed after interfering. Bobby Heenan's men Pesek & Masked Superstar II outlasted Doc & Gordy. Gotch jumped in the ring and turned the tables allowing Lewis to beat Saint with the Headlock.

Show Notes: There was a whole lot of tremendous action on the show this week! The French Angel and Bobby Shane tore each other apart. Later the same thing took place between Fritz Von Goering and Don Leo Jonathan.

In tag team action, two favorites to win the title tournament were eliminated and in a Gauntlet Match here tonight. Jim Londos & Johnny Saint were obliterated but would not go away against Dr. Death and Bam Bam Gordy. They won after taking amazing punishment and then lost the next match.

Bobby Heenan's men easily got a DQ win against the Terrible Turk & The Iron Sheik. Frank Gotch & Ed Lewis will face John Pesek & the Masked Superstar II for the European tag team titles!

Show Notes: A huge show with two of three titles changing hands. P.N. News wrests the EPW belt away from Nigel McGuinness and his manager Bobby Heenan. The team of John Pesek & Masked Superstar II responded though by winning the tag titles so the Heenan Family still has some gold.

European Pure Wrestling (EPW) is excited to announce its first major event! The Euro Catch Cup will be a 16-man tournament taking place over the course of a few weeks.

There are 10 wrestlers that have automatically been entered into the Cup. That means 12 wrestlers will be involved in a six singles qualifying matches to make it into the Cup.

Show Notes: A rematch from two weeks ago saw Thatcher, Lyndon and Pillman get the win in a one fall match. Too Cool were crushed but amazingly stayed alive and scored the win!

All matches in the Euro Catch Cup will be British Rounds Matches. The qualifying round was set at 8 rounds.

Some one-sided matches saw the Turk squeeze and choke the life out of the French Angel. The Iron Sheik easily defeated Bobby Shane. Tag partners Taylor and Finlay went at it with Taylor winning. Don Leo Jonathan worked his way to the win. Dick Hutton needed five rounds to defeate Von Goering. Dr. Death battered his tag partner Terry Gordy, winning with the backdrop driver.

Show Notes: in battle royal action, Too Cool were really doing well. Taylor was on Daivari when Thatcher took the elimination and then ousted Taylor to win. In the heavyweight battle royal, Spivey and Bernard cleared the ring and took credit for the win together, demanding a tag team title match.

The first round of the Euro Catch Cup saw some tremendous in-ring wrestling. Ed Lewis and Don Leo Jonathan went the distance with neither recording a fall to end in a draw.

Adrian Street upset the Mid-Heavyweight champion Danny Hodge. Dr. Death outlasted the Terrible Turk. Jim Londos had no problem with the EPW heavyweight champion P.N. News.

Both of Bobby Heenan's men, Nigel McGuinness and tag team champion John Pesek, were eliminated. The final bout was a great one with George Hackenschmidt defeating Frank Gotch 2-1.

Show Notes: a lot of good wins were had by competitors tonight. Gotch overcame the former EPW champion Nigel McGuinness. Ed Lewis and Don Leo Jonathan went at it in a rematch from the first round of the Euro Catch Cup where they went to a draw. This was another classic with Lewis coming out the victor.

The Euro Catch Cup saw one upset in Adrian Street stopping Dr. Death Steve Williams. Londos and the Iron Sheik went to the 10th round where Londos scored the win with the airplane spin before a draw would have eliminated both men.
