Just wanted to drop a quick "Hello" to the community. I'm fresh off the chopping block or rather a "Curtain Jerker" level player but can already tell this is my new thing. I learned about Filsinger through my 8WM endeavors recently & am excited to get the ball rolling. I've spent a considerate amount of hours playing both tabletop & online games in the past so I've naturally caught on to the physical card/dice version rather quickly. However the online play feels strange to me. It's possible I haven't given it enough time to sink in yet. If if any of you ever want to play online just throw me a message. Also, I'm new to this as well & feel weird advertising it but I'm on Twitter Brad_rickett if anyone wants to throw me a line. Just let me know you're from the boards. Take care, Brad~

If you ever see me with a table, feel free to join. I'm always willing to teach people and it does take some getting used to playing it digitally.

Yeah, I'll agree that the Online tabletop feels a bit strange at first but it works well once you get used to it and I love being able to quickly sim matches!
Play how you want to play though. Whatever if fun for you is how you should play.
Welcome! Hope you enjoy it!

Hey thanks guys. I've done a few games with the promo cards & I'm starting to get a better feel for it. I like the option of being able to play @ work on my tablet or (after I get more confident/comfortable) with others online. Right now I'm contemplating what set and setting to start with. I've got option paralysis.

If you play Champions, go with 2087, Legends, pick a set with wrestlers you like, Indys, whatever starter set of your favorite fed IMO.

Online is a great way to play. If you can't finish a match it is there when you pick it back up, only drawback is that it doesn't have all the fun matches, but you can type in the the chart instructions. entering the wrestlers that are not in there is quite easy, though time consuming. I personally like it and hope that eventually we get a stand alone version of the game for times when I cannot connect to the computer.

I like tabletop better but it's probably because I "grew up" on it. Online is faster though, and the match simulator is great for meaningless matches on your card (two jobbers squaring off, etc.). Good luck and enjoy!

I love the feel of the rolling dice. I find them unpredictable in the greatest of extremes. Especially when back to back snake eyes are rolled.

As someone who got the cards and dice first and wasn't a big fan of the online, I have to say that I like cards and dice play alot but I think if you don't have alot of time or not great areas to play, its not as fun..
I love rolling the dice but online is just more convenient to me..plus all the extra money you have to spend.
Online has its drawbacks as well, play how you want.. either way its a great time.
