- What We See -
We have a quick turnaround from the last card, only 5 days later. After tonight 2119 is in the books. Ravager fans have been loving aCe and for the first time all year, fans from Centra Prime have been invited to The Mothership to enjoy the action. Although it's a 70/30 split Ravager to Centran, 100% of those in attendance will be rooting for Aegis over Murdok.
Grovel vs. Nemean
Nemean defeated Grovel with a Roll Up at 5:11Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Ravager fans went crazy as Nemean wins his first match in front of his home crowd. Grovel clumsily tried a sunset flip which Nemean took advantage of. Wisely he dropped his knees on Grovel's shoulders and hooked his legs for the 1-2-3. Nemean goes wild running around the ringside area celebrating with everyone.
- Card Subject To Change -
Mass Destruction hit the ring after Noxious and Cremator. As the four men get checked by the ref in the ring Nicodemus' music hits. He gets in the ring and immediately looks at Ventross.
"Ventross you are no longer booked in this match, you're free to go."
Ventross was astonished. He makes a move towards Nicodemus when four Ravager guards climb onto the ring.
"I said you may leave." Nicodemus waited for Ventross to exit the ring before continuing. "Tonight Warfare will team with the newest member of The Ravager Army. I know the rules say new recruits may not start until 2120, but this man is not new. You could, however, say he's NuBorn! Ladies and gentlemen I give you Tekaro!"
With that stunning announcement Tekaro made his way to the ring. Holding his shield (formally held by Ventross) high in the air he let out a scream and ran to the ring!
NuBorn Destruction vs. Cremator and Noxious
Warfare defeated Cremator with a Warfare Driver Slam at 7:12Match Rating: 2.75
Match Notes: Warfare and Tekaro look good in their first tag outing. Tekaro hit the ring like a bat out of hell going right after Cremator. Cremator was able to slow things down for a bit until he tried chopping the chest of Tekaro. Tekaro took three before letting out a scream and roaring back on offense. Warfare scored the pin as Tekaro dared Noxious to try something. Tekaro and Warfare celebrated as the Antilian Warrior raised his shield high to the approval of the Ravager crowd.
- A Ravager Apart -
Ventoss makes his way back to the ring.
"I came here to fight tonight and that's exactly what I plan to do! Hey Paganax you don't have a partner, I don't have a partner, LET'S DANCE!"
Paganax vs. Ventross
Ventross defeated Paganax by Disqualification at 14:21
Match Rating: 3.25
Match Notes: Paganax eagerly accepted the challenge and the brawl was on! These two behemoths took out all of their anger on each other. The DQ came when Paganax tossed the steel ringside steps at Ventross, busting him wide open. This did not stop the Ravager who continued fighting, eventually putting Paganax through the announcers table with a huge powerbomb! This was a new side of Ventross we have never seen.
- aCe Tag Team Championship -The Specialists vs. Darkness Falls
Scorch defeated Krypt with TRAILBLAZER at 18:32Match Rating: 3.75
Match Notes: The Specialists win a close one against Darkness Falls. Scorch saved the match twice after Shepard missed the EXORCISM. With this win The Specialists have defended their aCe tag titles against the five main teams, putting to rest any argument who the best tag team in 2119 was. They look forward to their next challenge in 2120.
- The Nemean Show -
Nemean interrupts the show with a very special edition of The Nemean Show!
Nemean: Fresh off my epic win tonight, I am here to entertain yet again! We are here in The Ravager Cells, population of 1...or so I thought, to get a word with the most hated man on The Mothership, PainMaster!
Now Pain...May I call you Pain? First things first-who or what is that thing? (Nemean was talking about the slender man standing perfectly still in the corner facing the wall.)
PainMaster: He is a loyal slave isn't he? When he heard of my current situation he made arrangements to be by my side.* But pay no attention to my pet, he's no cconcern of yours.
Nemean: How were you able to get away with The Ravager Space-Carrier?
At first PainMaster ignored the question but he decided to play along.
PainMaster: Are you kidding? The minute you guys made yourselves known in this dimension that overgrown ape had me working on a way to break down your defenses. I've been casing this place since 2111.
Nemean: But why a Space-Carrier?
PainMaster seemed annoyed by this question.
PainMaster: I wasn't going for a Space-Carrier, you reptile! I wanted the ship with the armament! By the time I realized what I got it was too late so I gave it to a Captain of Murdok's. Things worked out better than I ever imagined.
A sick grin came across PainMaster's face as he said this that sent chills through Nemean. Before the young Ravager could ask anything else Nicodemus was yelling through the intercom for Nemean to cease with the interview.
*The Slender Man had tried to attack Nicodemus as he walked to the back on the last Mothership card, spitting on the Ravager and striking security getting him tossed in the cell with PainMaster. Crime being at a relative minimum on the Mothership makes for a rather quick over crowding in the cell.
Lance At-Las vs. Godsend
Godsend defeated Lance At-Las with HELL'S THRESHOLD at 20:34Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Everyone on The Mothership was in awe of the new look Godsend! The stage burst into flames that Godsend casually walked through taking in the reaction. Lance At-Las could care less how Godsend looked and only had one thing on his mind: revenge for his friend!
At-Las almost spoiled Godsend's dramatic return but the sequence of Backdrop, Realm Eternal and HELL'S THRESHOLD was too much and the Martian fell.
- Centra Coffin -General Rankor vs. Nicodemus
Nicodemus defeated General Rankor with a Chokeslam at 22:54Match Rating: 4.75
Match Notes: Another classic bout between the two Ravagers! These two go all out when fighting each other and this one was no different. The coffin was fully put to use in this one as Rankor hit a tombstone on top and a running powerbomb into the side. Nicodemus' high spots included a brainbuster on the coffin, reversing a superplex onto the lid then hitting a NUCLEAR WINTER! The end came when Rankor threw Nicodemus into the turnbuckle but missed a shoulder spear ramming into the ring post and tumbling to the floor. Nicodemus followed up with a monster chokeslam into the coffin, shutting the lid and securing the win!
The Ancient climbed back into the ring, climbed on the turnbuckle and raised his hands in victory.
He only got to celebrate for 10 seconds when power on the Mothership went out...
- Massacre on the Mothership -
Panic ensued as the Mothership was plunged into total darkness. Everyone was on edge as the sound of a weapon firing could be heard in the arena. Thoughts of an attack ran through the minds of frightened fans when the emergency power kicked in. Warfare came running to the ring yelling "It's Flatliner! It's Flatliner!" towards an exhausted Nicodemus. Both members of The Ravager Army ran off almost immediately. Ringside mics could pick up only bits and pieces of the conversation in the ring but it didn't take long for word to spread throughout the Four Corners Arena:
Flatliner had claimed he felt funny before falling to his knees.
Warfare went to check on Trench who shot straight up extending all limbs and emitted an EMP that blacked out the Mothership.
Warfare was knocked back but could hear his friend screaming "WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" as his weapon repeatedly fired killing innocent Ravagers.
When the chaos subsided Rankor had vanished from the coffin, Flatliner was gone and PainMaster had escaped during the blackout (the EMP knocked out the electronic doors, PainMaster and the Slender Man simply walked out laughing)
After 20 minutes of a lockdown, Nicodemus' booming voice was heard-
THIS SHOW IS OVER! EVERYONE OUT!
- aCe Championship -Murdok vs. Aegis
NEVER HAPPENED
Match Notes: Nicodemus cancelled the remainder of the show, namely the main event! Everyone not a Ravager immediately was escorted off the Mothership. Aegis demanded a make up date but Murdok says no way!
"You're match was scheduled for Upheaval, you get no rematch!"
- AFTERMATH -
In the days following Aegis tried being civil, offering suggestions for a make up match but Murdok rejected all! Maybe it was losing Tek to the Ravagers, or Godsend's new found powers . Maybe it was being soundly beaten by Shepard just five days before
Upheaval. Whatever it was Murdok saw an out and took it.
Aegis demanded a vote take place by the aCe ruling committee to right this wrong. Aegis was floored when the vote came out in Murdok's favor 2-1!
(No's were Murdok and Rankor -still getting back at Aegis for their feud - to Aegis' 1. The Ravager's had not voted and have been radio silent since
Upheaval.)
Aegis was livid.
"That's fine! That's how they wanna play this? That is fine. We tried being civil! We gave the aCe a go but apparently we have no other option. If this is what they want, so be it...
We go to
WAR."
