aCe: A Dimension Divided...

- Thirty Days of War -

Aegis and the ROC waged all out war on Murdok's Army after not receiving a timeline for a make-up match for the aCe title. The ROC had several key victories in these battles, including taking back The Palladium (sadly the Palladium would not be ready for the beginning of 2120.) 

The ROC and Antilla weren't the only ones at war as Rankor's constant taunts of what happened on The Mothership had the Ravagers end their silence. Several skirmishes had broke out between the two warring factions with both sides suffering mass casualties. 

Seeing the ROC winning battle after battle, Murdok finally gave in. Aegis would get his match at the Southern Sun Memorial Hall until...

- Darkness On The Edge Of Town -

A total eclipse occurred as the Southern Sun imploded. Panic erupted on the streets of Centra as everyone wondered what had happened. Everyone but one man. With his new found powers, Godsend was the only being walking Centra Prime who knew of the battle between Maramus and Vallah. Seconds after the sun turned into a black hole of nothing, Godsend appeared on the roof of SSMH and conjured a visage of The Face of Maramus in the sky! Centran's fled left and right as the Memorial Hall closed their gates yet again.

- An Offer and a Stip. -

Once again Avarice found himself in a generous mood, announcing that The Rose Garden is open and the aCe may run their show there, with one condition- Avarice gets to defend his title against Lance At-Las in the main event! 

"I never got my CentraMania moment against At-Las! That coward closed the doors of the CWF before I had the chance to solidify my reign! I have a black rose with your name on it!" 

The aCe agreed to his terms but the match would be a co-main event and would not go on last.

- Let There Be Light -

After three days of darkness in Southern Centra a ball of light hurled to the planet like a meteor. People watched in amazement and worry as the light busted through the Face of Maramus evaporating it and crash landed on Centra illuminating everything once more! Exodus had left Heaven to raise Hell!

- What We See -

Huge marble statues of The Family Rose are scattered throughout the arena, Avarice with more than a few. The pillars are covered in rose vines from floor to ceiling, each one black. The rich still sit in luxury boxes away from commoners but the rest of the arena is for anyone who purchases a ticket on any given night.

Nemean vs. Aspin Northstar

Nemean defeated Aspin Northstar with HUNGER STRIKE at 7:30

Match Rating: 2.50

 Nemean challenged Aspin Northstar knowing that defeating the ROC's newest prospect would put him in the spotlight of the first card of the new year. The blonde Ravager wasn't wrong as he used his experience to gain the victory. (Aspin missed FLASH OF BRILLIANCE leading to HUNGER STRIKE) For the first time in his career Nemean is on a winning streak. 

NuBorn Destruction vs. Darkness Falls

Warfare defeated Krypt with the Warfare Driver Slam at 8:08

Match Rating: 2.75

 NuBorn Destruction are on a roll! Tekaro comes out with a purpose swinging the match in their favor from the start. Warfare seemed to be going through the motions, no doubt still reeling from the betrayal of his friend. He was able to keep Krypt down while Tekaro charged across the ring with his shield knocking him off the apron and into the first row! NuBorn Destruction will get their chance at the aCe tag straps next month on Primus. 

Ventross vs. Grovel

Ventross defeated Grovel with MERCY KILLING at 5:04

Match Rating: 2.00

 A far more aggressive Ventross than we have seen in a while. Ventross was all business working out some new moves on an unlucky Grovel.

- Ghost in the Shell -

Rankor comes to the ring to the loudest boos of the night. Threats and food were hurled his way until Flatliner lifted his gun in the air letting a few rounds off. This silenced the Centran crowd real quick. Rankor spoke.
"Good. Now that you idiots are showing the proper respect I can show you what awesome power I command!" Rankor then had Flatliner take a knee, bow to him, and for fun run full speed into the turnbuckle. The Mad Scientist laughed hysterically.
"You see? Flatliner does whatever I want, it would be best not to get on my bad side, lest you end up like the pukes on the Mothership!"

The Cyber-Union vs. General Rankor and Flatliner

Flatliner defeated Holocaust with RAVAGER SACK at 6:54

Match Rating: 2.50

The shock of Holocaust in an aCe ring caught the two members of the Judas Syndicate off guard giving a fighting mad Nicodemus the upper hand. The two traitors turned it around with Flatliner eventually hitting SHOCK AND AWE on Holocaust. Nicodemus ran in to make the save but as the ref escorted him out Rankor ran in nailing a lariat. Adding insult to injury Rankor set up Holocaust for the RAVAGER SACK leaving Nicodemus still looking for revenge.

Hybrid vs. Paganax

Hybrid defeated Paganax with POISON DRIVER at 11:37

Match Rating: 3.25

 Everyone looked on in awe as these two monsters tried ripping each other apart. Neither gained the upper hand for long with both giants trying whatever would work. In the end Hybrid picked the Heathen Chief up off his feet and tossed him over the top rope to the floor. As the Big Red Machine climbed in narrowly avoiding the 20 count, Hybrid hit the POISON DRIVER for his first win.

- Insurance Policy -

PainMaster is seen talking to Gheist in a heated manner. The drone goes in closer to hear. 

"What do you mean you have a match with that thug?! I hired you for one reason and that is to protect me from being incarcerated again! That is the reason you are on this team, everything else is secondary! What happens if you lose?"

Gheist, barely above a whisper, just says "I will not lose."

Gheist vs. Hustler

Gheist defeated Hustler with SOUL SLAYER at 12:01

Match Rating: 3.25

Both men put on a hell of a match in their first outing. Hustler tried taking it outside the ring any chance he got just wanting to fight. It took Gheist 4 SOUL SLAYERS to keep Hustler down. These two aren't done.

- "Welcome Back!" -

As a paranoid PainMaster prepared himself for his match, Godsend approached. 

"Well look who it is! I knew you would escape that prison, never doubted you for a second! How are you doing?" 

PainMaster was agitated by the insincere tone Godsend used that was a trait himself had been known for. 

"Cut the crap Godsend, I know you were the anonymous source that tipped them off! Don't think this is the end." Godsend stopped him there. "No it IS the end! That was payback for costing me the aCe title! We are even, if you look at me the wrong way, I'll send you to a place that will make that cell look like a suite! Oh and hey, good luck out there!"

- aCe Tag Team Championship -

The Specialists vs. Sycophant & Master

Shepard defeated PainMaster with EXORCISM at 15:24

Match Rating: 3.25

In a weird role reversal, Shepard was the one who made this challenge, not Scorch. PainMaster's continued taunts of his Deviant's love of pain and how Scorch wouldn't be able to break him were means to get a title shot out of the hothead; surprisingly it came from the priest! Shepard wanted to get his hands on PainMaster in the worst way, almost losing his cool several times. Master was right about Sycophant though taking several of Scorch's big moves and looking almost orgasmic about it. Scorch did not know how to react and tagged out almost immediately. The end sequence saw Shepard hit the Turnbuckle Tabernacle followed by the Nomad Knee Drop double time then drop EXORCISM for the win. 

Gheist did his job, making sure no one interfered or try to arrest PainMaster but not getting involved himself.

- Return of the King -

The reintroduction of Avarice spared no expense. The Rose Garden went completely dark as holographic highlights of his past exploits played in the ring. Victory after victory was shown as the last image to appear was a black rose. The all to familiar sound of the Avarice theme (The Reigns of Rose) started blaring as Avarice made his way to the ring! Servants dropped to the ground making a human pathway that Avarice walked on to get to the ring! Pumped in artificial cheers almost drowned everything out as The Black Heart made his triumphant return.

- CWF Heavyweight Title -

Avarice vs. Lance At-Las

Lance At-Las defeated Avarice with a Nomad Knee Drop at 10:02

Match Rating: 3.00

 At-Las embarrasses Avarice in front of his hometown crowd! The match was in Avarice's favor early on but the veteran had too much pride riding on this to lose. After the 1-2-3 Lance rolled out of the ring to sit on the apron catching his breath. The referee came over to raise his hand in victory also handing him the CWF title. The federation and title he helped create laid there in his lap. Lance sat there staring at the title for a minute with a semi smile on his face. That turned into the stern look we have been accustomed to seeing as he tossed the belt aside, hopped of the apron and made his way to the back.

Godsend vs. Exodus

Godsend defeated Exodus with HELL'S THRESHOLD at 13:00

Match Rating: 3.25

 Exodus showed a little ring rust early on but by the end of the match was moments from pulling out the win. Godsend took it to the outside twice, one time tempting Exodus by throwing him a chair and falling to his knees telling him he has a "free shot". Exodus would not cheat, instead throwing down the chair and hitting Godsend with a barrage of fists. The end saw Exodus miss WRAITH OF GOD and Godsend nailing a piledriver. The successive moves of SPEAK OF THE DEVIL and then HELL'S THRESHOLD was enough to do the job. Godsend sneaks out with an impressive victory here.

- aCe Championship -

Murdok vs. Aegis

Aegis defeated Murdok with Opening Salvo at 11:59

Match Rating: 3.25


 Aegis comes to the ring in his military gear, showing that he is ready for war. The match was fast and violent going almost immediately in The Harvesters favor. Aegis took Headspear after Headspear, each time getting up and motioning for Murdok to bring more. Murdok telegraphed a back body drop giving Aegis the window he needed. Aegis hit Opening Salvo and went for the pin. Trisis jumped up on the ring apron ready to interfere but thought twice about it and stopped mid motion! Aegis is the new aCe champion! As members of the ROC flood the ring to celebrate Aegis looks at Trisis who returns the stare momentarily before following Murdok to the back.

Overall Card Rating: 2.90

War is upon us!

Congratulations to Aegis on taking the big prize... But, the Harvester still has a hold over Trisis... Until that changes, he still holds the upper hand...

Very cool that the Specialists are still on top of the tag team division...

With stars like Avarice, Exodus and Gheist now in play, get ready for anything...

Thank you for the kind words! I took a break to try and catch up with 2131 but all I could think about was Dimension Y! So many interesting characters in 2120 I'm having a blast playing with them, surprisingly though Flatliner is off to a phenomenal start!

02.13.2120 from Base of Mt. Ragnarok

- What We See -

Paganax continues to move the locations of the aCe cards, returning to the base of Mt. Ragnarok for this one. Rumor has it that yet another "arena" will be used for Ring of Fire. Select fans from Centra were granted permission to attend the card, mostly ROC soldiers on leave and Scorch's crew from before the beginning of aCe. Centra Prime is still very wary of sending it's citizens to the other Corners.

- A Change for the Better -

The ROC keep winning battles - in and out of the ring. Thanks in no small part to having the aCe title and aCe tag titles, the tides have somewhat turned to the forces of good. Centrapolis is almost completely plague free for the first time in two years as they continue to push out Murdok's forces.

Aegis vs. Noxious

Aegis defeated Noxious with Opening Salvo at 7:32

Match Rating: 3.00

 Aegis finishes off Noxious in an exciting opening bout. At the outset it looked like your typical squash match but Noxious proved he wouldn't go down without a fight. Aegis missed RAMPART'S REVENGE, still not quite getting the timing down giving Noxious an opportunity. The aCe champion fought back hard and ended the match with Opening Salvo, deciding not to try RR again. Aegis will be watching closely to the main event.

Darkness Falls vs. Light Brigade

Jakyll defeated Aspin Northstar with RED DAWN at 5:20

Match Rating: 2.50

 Lance was in control early on in the match, putting Jakyll on the defensive from the start. At-Las could have won the match by himself but he knew Aspin would not benefit from this. Tagging in the rookie made Lance nervous but it was something that needed to be done. To his credit, Aspin got a few offensive moves in before the former champs took over. It was all over from that point on. Interestingly, Lance didn't try to save his partner as he was pinned opting for Northstar to learn the lesson rather than going for the win. Both men will be in the Battle Royale later tonight.

Cremator vs. Tekaro

Tekaro defeated Cremator with an Antilian Atomic Drop at 10:34

Match Rating: 3.00

 Tekaro continues his winning streak he's been on since being rehabilitated from the NuBorn Program. He takes out his former partner in convincing fashion, even adding insult to injury by beating him with their signature atomic drop. On a side note, the primitives of Primus seemed to cheer for Tekaro and respect him a little more then any other non-Primus wrestler.

Shepard vs. Warfare

Shepard defeated Warfare with EXORCISM at 6:02

Match Rating: 2.75

 In a preview of what we might see at Ring of Fire, Shepard comes out on top. Warfare used his size early on to throw The Vagabond Priest around a bit, almost scoring a victory twice. Shepard was able to adjust his approach using his agile style to come out on top.

- Insurance Policy -

Once again drones catch PainMaster talking to Gheist. 

"Make sure in the Battle Royale neither the ROC or the Ravagers get anywhere near me. I know they are plotting to take me back to jail, I can feel it."

Gheist spoke softly yet again.

"I'll do what I must. Do remember though, it's every man for himself out there."

Flatliner vs. Holocaust

Flatliner defeated Holocaust with SHOCK AND AWE at 12:41

Match Rating: 3.50

Only a month into the new year and these two already hate each other! Starting out as just another match, it quickly devolved into cheap shots and cheating. Holocaust was in control for the majority of the match but Flatliner countered a cross-body block with Metal Ramrod. Flatliner hit SHOCK AND AWE and it was over. These two are not done.

Scorch vs. Sycophant the Deviant

Scorch defeated Sycophant the Deviant with TRAILBLAZER at 6:09

Match Rating: 2.75

 Once again Sycophant let Scorch pound on him getting great pleasure out of it. Scorch had enough at one point almost refusing to continue when The Deviant struck, choking Scorch over and over almost to the point passing out. The end came when Sycophant missed a charge in the corner hitting the turnbuckle post almost knocking himself out. A TRAILBLAZER was all it took.

- Battle Royale for #1 Contender -

Nicodemus - Ventross - Hybrid - Nemean - Paganax - General Rankor - Avarice - Grovel - Exodus - Lance At-Las - Aspin Northstar - Hustler - Godsend - Gheist - PainMaster - Murdok

Match Rating: 3.75

Eliminations:

Paganax and Ventross immediately charge at each other to fight. Paganax is able to pick up Ventross and dump him to the floor! (2:13) 

Hustler launches himself with an awesome flying clothesline connecting with Avarice (stomping on At-Las) and sending him out of the ring! (3:43) 

Hybrid grabs Grovel by the throat throwing him over the top rope and onto the floor! (4:01) 

General Rankor has Nemean by the hair and goes to toss him over! Will he do it? Yes! Nemean has been eliminated! (7:06) 

Nicodemus tries to make a run at Rankor but he pulls down the top rope! Nicodemus goes right over and onto the floor! (7:23) 

Godsend sneaks behind Hybrid while he stomps on Aspin and tosses him over the top rope! Hybrid is gone!  (8:23) 

Paganax nails Murdok with Primal Scream sending him over the top and onto the floor! (9:41) 

Godsend feels Paganax is distracted and tries to attack, but Paganax counters and gorilla presses over the top rope and onto the floor! (11:00) 

Paganax is cleaning house! 

In a shocker Paganax faces off with Rankor but the General drops to his knees begging for mercy! Out of nowhere Aspin Northstar hits Paganax with a drop kick from behind sending him into the ropes that Rankor pulls down! Paganax is eliminated! (12:03) 

Rankor goes to shake Aspin's hand for saving him. Aspin accepts and Rankor tosses him over the top rope and onto the floor! (14:50) 

General Rankor is cleaning house! 

Rankor has PainMaster by the head and tosses him over! PainMaster high tails it out of there! (15:17) 

Rankor powerbombs Exodus over and out! (18:55) 

General Rankor is on a rampage! 

General Rankor chokeslams Hustler over the top rope and onto the floor! (19:02) 

Gheist and General Rankor battle near the ropes but neither of them go over! 

Lance At-Las has Rankor on the ropes but a returning Avarice distracts the Martian! Rankor takes advantage and dumps him out! Lance At-Las has been eliminated! (20:54) 

General Rankor looks unstoppable as Avarice and At-Las brawl at ringside! 

Down to Gheist and Rankor! 

General Rankor grabs the leg of Gheist and dumps him over but he skins the cat! Gheist is still alive! 

General Rankor and Gheist are really going at it exhausted by this point! Gheist chops Rankor over to the ropes setting him up. 

Gheist charges at Gen. Rankor but the Traitor ducks! Gheist goes right over the top rope and onto the floor! (21:55) 

And the winner of the Battle Royal ... General Rankor! 

The Natives of Primus go nuts once again chanting RAN-KOR! RAN-KOR!

I love Battle Royals, so many possibilities with them. It's hard to come up with a solid number one contender with only one card played in the new year so this worked out well, especially with the dominant performance of Rankor!

Ring Of Fire

02.22.2120 from Lava Run Peninsula, Primus

- What We See -

100 miles south of Mt. Ragnarok is where we find the Lava Run Peninsula. Surrounded on three sides by lava, there is one way in and one way out. Paganax, paranoid as ever of an attack from the other teams, decided this to be the perfect place for the card. Temperatures at ringside can get as hot as 95-110 degrees, only Krypt's and Jakyll's dare to be in attendance in this hell. 

The teams have been ordered to remain on their ships until their assigned match begins.

Cremator vs. Grovel

Cremator defeated Grovel with skull knockers at 3:12

Match Rating: 1.25

 A clumsy match in every sense of the word, Cremator got the win by repeatedly knocking Grovel's head into the turnbuckle post. The natives were agitated by the loss as Grovel has become a lovable wrestler to those on Primus.

Hybrid vs. Flatliner

Flatliner defeated Hybrid with SHOCK AND AWE at 8:09

Match Rating: 3.00

Hybrid let out a roar that sent the Natives heading for the hills as he got into the ring. The only one not phased was Flatliner. The being once known as Trench stayed a move ahead of Hybrid most of the match, getting caught on defense only once or twice. In the end Flatliner used the butt of his gun outside the ring to flatten Hybrid's face, setting up SHOCK AND AWE. Flatliner didn't have time to recover as a shock-wave impulse from Rankor had him on his feet and marching back to their ship. Pretty soon Flatliner will have to be considered for a title shot.

- The Nemean Show -

Nemean breaks into the Ring of Fire broadcast. Inexplicably he has the CWF title draped over his shoulder. 

"Welcome everyone to another edition of The Nemean Show! I, of course, am your host Nemean! Since we are confined to our ships, what better time... than now...to get to know your teammates?!

My guest tonight is the former dead man, Tekaro! 

Tekaro, please tell us a bit about yourself... you know before the undead you we've known since 2117." 

Tekaro proceeds to tell the tale of the King and the witch doctor known as Murdok who enslaved him and his planet. An anger is building in Tekaro with every word he says and Nemean can see it's time to end this interview before he ends up getting hurt. Tekaro interrupts Nemean's sign off. 

"One more thing! Murdok, I will not rest until your head is at the end of my spear! You can count on that!"

Murdok vs. Exodus

Murdok defeated Exodus with an Antilian Atomic Drop at 9:41

Match Rating: 2.75

Exodus had an excellent start getting Murdok off his game pretty quickly but not long enough to do any real damage. Exodus still hasn't quite found his footing yet since returning to the 3rd Realm. Murdok took advantage throwing around his size and strength hitting three power bombs in succession. He easily could have won with CENTRA TAKEOVER but picked up Exodus before the three. Sending a message to Tekaro he ended the match with an Antilian Atomic Drop, looking right at the camera and saying "anytime, anywhere!"

- Alliance in Ashes -

---Aegis confrences the Ravager ship--- 

AEGIS> Nicodemus, what are we going to do about PainMaster, he's running free and seems to have protection... 

NICODEMUS>...I have no concern about PainMaster! My focus is solely on the capture of the traitor, Rankor! Besides, no Ravagers died in the attack, and I could care less about a carrier ship, so deal with him yourself! 

Aegis paused for a minute... 

AEGIS> If that's how you wanna play it, Nicodemus, that's fine...matter of fact I'm relieved! Any "plan" you've had has been poorly thought out and led to nothing but disaster! It's good to know where we stand! 

NICODEMUS ENDS TRANSMISSION 

Ventross vs. Avarice

Avarice defeated Ventross by Disqualification at 9:12

Match Rating: 3.00

Ventross could not contain his anger! The match started normal enough with back and forth action that went south when Avarice tried to catch a breather. Ventross took exception and followed him outside resulting in a brawl. Avarice tried several times to get back in the ring only to be clotheslined back out again! The ref finally had enough when Ventross repeatedly wailed on Avarice with a steel chair to the point of the Blackheart passing out. The ref had no choice but to call for the disqualification.

Darkness Falls vs. The Cyber-Union

Jakyll defeated Holocaust with the Predator Pounce at 18:32

Match Rating: 4.25

Incredible back and forth action! Cyber-Union looks their best yet but Darkness Falls refused to lose in front of their home crowd. Jakyll and Krypt take everything that Nicodemus and Holocaust dished out including two NUCLEAR WINTER'S and a SHOCK WAVE each time barely kicking out, sometimes with the help of the other. In the end a WAR Gun sent Krypt into Jakyll who struck with two consecutive Predator Pounce's while Krypt fended off Nicodemus. They earn themselves a shot at the tag titles.

- Three Kings -

Aegis and Lance At-Las check on Exodus, still dejected from his loss to Murdok. Lance comes up and pats him on the back.

"How you feeling Atman? Readjusted yet?"

"Not quite, but that's no excuse. I have no time for ring rust in this war."

Still on edge from his conference with Nicodemus Aegis cuts in.

"While on the subject of no time, how is the kid coming along, At-Las? Can't be easy learning in this hell. Lance, are you sure..."

"I'm sure, Aegis. Patience, my friend. We'll all get there together. Speaking of together, what was that between you and Trisis? You think she may be coming around?"

A heavy look came over the aCe champions face. "I can't think about that right now. The best way to get to her is to win this war."

Exodus stood up at this point, done feeling sorry for himself. 

"Have faith, my friends, we will win this war! There is no other way!"

Sycophant & Master and Gheist vs. Light Brigade and Hustler

Aspin Northstar defeated Sycophant the Deviant with FLASH OF BRILLIANCE at 7:46

Match Rating: 3.00

Aspin Northstar records his first pinfall! For the first time in his short career Aspin hits FLASH OF BRILLIANCE as the Natives of Primus all let out a collective gasp followed by aggressive jumping up and down. Gheist and PainMaster could see the writing on the wall and tried to break up the pin but were meet by the fists of Hustler and Lance At-Las!

Godsend vs. Paganax

Godsend defeated Paganax with HELL'S THRESHOLD at 16:23

Match Rating: 4.00

 Even with a hometown crowd in his corner and power absorbed from his beaten-down brethren (-2 on the pin) Paganax could not put away the red hot Godsend. Godsend took a pounding, at one time taking three Primal Screams in a row just being propped up by the ring ropes. The serpent was able to capitalize on a double clothesline to win the match. 

Godsend will be paying attention to the Main Event as he will face the winner for the aCe championship.

- aCe Tag Team Championship -

The Specialists vs. NuBorn Destruction

Warfare defeated Scorch with THE BIG PAYBACK at 13:01

Match Rating: 4.00

Tekaro requested Scorch start the match, as it was a matter of pride and a battle was Tekaro's way of thanking Scorch for "saving" him. Tekaro immediately regretted this as Scorch put a pounding on the noble warrior. Tekaro was able to fight back tagging in Warfare who seemed to be just going through the motions. Shepard and Scorch put on a clinic showing why they are tag team champions. The match would have ended several times if it wasn't for Tekaro saving Warfare stopping some pins. The bad blood that these two had between each other last year quickly reemerged. Both men came out of the gate trading fists with Aegis eventually getting the better of it. Rankor would get some offense in but this was Aegis' show. He put the cherry on top hitting RAMPART'S REVENGE for the win and looking on to his next challenger, Godsend!
