I have decided to reboot my Ontario Wrestling Network federation once again. This will feature the Filsinger Indy Colour Cards only and is based on the federations currently operating in Southern Ontario. Hope everyone enjoys the action.

OWN 01 – Pure Wrestling Association Holiday Hangover, Alpine Club, Kitchener, ON

Pure Wrestling Title Tournament Semi –Final Match: El Generico v. “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen
The fans are electric as one of the most intense feuds in wrestling history is rekindled in Kitchener. The dueling chants are deafening as we get underway. Generico scores with a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER early and nearly wins it. Steen kicks out after a second SPIKE BRAINBUSTER and after a corkscrew moonsault as Generico is on fire. Steen brawls back. He gets away with using a chair. A powerbomb onto the ring apron nearly breaks his opponent in half. Generico fires back with his own chair shot and the fans love it. Steen is reeling and Generico hits the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! (6) for the win as the fans explode. What a way to start off! Time: 2:06. Generico (2) Steen (6) Rating 4.0

Pure Wrestling Title Tournament Semi-Final Match: Roderick Strong w.Truth Martini v. “American Wolf” Davey Richards
What a match! The exchange of counter holds and strikes was flawless. Martini just watched for the most part and worked the crowd for occasional heat as the two competitors put on a clinic. Strong nails a SICK KICK in the opening moments that nearly ends it but Richards kicks out and the contest really begins. Richards nails multiple Alarm Clocks and kicked to death blows before but cannot set up his finisher. Strong takes everything Richards has and gives back just as much in the form of multiple backbreakers and strikes. The end comes when Strong uses a LeBell Lock to wear down Richards and then locks in a STRONG HOLD to claim the victory. Time: 5:58. Strong (6) Richards (4). Rating 4.5

Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) v. C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedrick Alexander)
Alexander gets cut off early and WGTT make him pay but Alexander survives a pair of PAYDIRTS and The HAAS OF PAIN before he is able to counter a deathjump from Benjamin and get the tag. C & C CONNECTION COMBO hits but goes not get the win. The momentum goes back and forth. Alexander saves Coleman from the LEAP OF FAITH but WGTT continue to dominate the action putting away Alexander with a PAYDIRT. Time: 4:06 Alexander 9, Coleman 5, Benjamin 4, Haas 3. Rating 2.0

Kimber Lee v. Lufisto
These two ladies have spent plenty of time battling in the extreme indy federations along the east coast so they know how to mix it up and their intensity is on full display. Lee gets the early advantage but Lufisto weathers the attack and really gains the upper hand with a Diving Star Headbutt. Lee never recovers and Lufisto gets the three count with a flurry of chops and jabs. Time: 2:22. Lee 7, Lufisto 3 Rating 1.5

Jay Lethal v. Tommaso Ciampa
These two have spent several years battling each other and the bitterness between the two competitors was clearly anything but resolved. This one went back and forth with not clear advantage for some time as the counters left the fans on the edge of their seat. Lethal went on a run and hit all of his signature spots but could not get the win. Running knees in the corner always got Ciampa back into the match. There was referee bump that took at the official briefly mid way through the match. Ciampa knocked Lethal into the ringside table spilling officials and contents to the floor. Lethal came back avoiding a deathjump smash and then hitting back to back Hail to the Kings. Lethal Injection only got two and a half but Lethal kept on his opponent slapping on a figure four leglock for the submission victory. Time 7:02. Lethal 5, Ciampa 8 Rating (4.0)

Pure Violence Title Match – “No Fear” Mike Mondo v. “Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs v. Rhino v. Homicide
This one was insane from start to finish as the action went all over the hall. It was impossible to keep up with the battle. Homicide suplexed Rhino onto a ladder. Mondo and Homicide exchanged chair shots. Jacobs looked to have the match one after attacking Mondo with a RAILROAD SPIKE but Mondo somehow kicked out. Homicide was saved from a GORE! but Jacobs. Jacobs went through a table courtesy of Homicide in the spot of the match. Mondo was a bloodied and battered mess when he caught Homicide with a jumping big boot to score the upset victory and claim the title! The fans are on their feet at the end of the match until Rhino nearly takes Mondo out of his boots with a GORE! Time: 9:28 Homicide 6, Jacobs 5, Mondo 7, Rhino 3 Rating 4.0

Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) v. Future Shock (Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly)
As expected the speed in this one was extremely quick. Cole found himself in some trouble early on but O’Reilly was able to slow things down working lower body of Nick Jackson with an ankle lock. The Bucks hit Early Onset Alzheimer’s on O’Reilly but cannot maintain the advantage. Cole is able to catch Matt Jackson with a FLYING CROSSBODY for the three count (Snake Eyes!). Time 1:48 M. Jackson 4, N. Jackson 3, Cole 3, O’Reilly 4 Rating 1.0

Pure Wrestling Title Tournament Finals – El Generico v. Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini
The fans are ready for a classic battle between these two and are chanting loudly as the bell sounds. Generico with a slingshot cross body early that thrills the fans. Strong gets whipped into the ropes and on the rebound catches Generico with a perfect sunset flip. 1, 2, 3 (snake eyes!) and Strong is the first Pure Wrestling Champion in shocking fashion. Time: 0:21 Generico 4, Strong 3 Rating dud

Strong beats El Generico in under 30 seconds to become the inaugural PWA Heavyweight Champion... Unreal...

The four-way dance for the Pure Violence title was a sight to behold... Never expected Mondo to emerge victorious... And I fear he may not make it through his first defense... Jacobs and Rhino - two dangerous men to face in a single encounter...

Really like the setup for this organization... Definitely a fed worth watching... Awesome stuff!

OWN 02 – Smash Wrestling Any Given Sunday, Franklin Horner Community Centre, Toronto, ON

Heroes Eventually Die (Tommy End & Chris Hero) v. Bravado Brothers (Lancelot Bravado & Harlem Bravado)
End starts the match off and looks good against both Bravado Brothers but does not tag out when he has the chance to and it cost him the match. The Bravados step it up. End takes a DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX and a GENTLEMAN’S APPROACH before GENTLEMAN’S AGREEMENT ends it. Time: 2:59 End 7, Hero 3, H. Bravado 3, L. Bravado 4 Rating 1.5

Trent Barreta v. Uhaa Nation
Nation looks impressive in the early moments but Trent catches him on the top and slams him to the mat. They brawl on the floor and both men refuse to return to the ring and the referee decides to disqualify both men. The action continues after the bell and to the back. Time: 1:17 Barreta 4, Nation 6 Rating 1.0

Sassy Stephie w/Mademoiselle Rachelle v. Vanessa Kraven
These two were given plenty of time. Despite the natural story of the smaller wrestler battling the larger foe, with both women heels, the match was unfortunately a stinker. Just too long and too much mid level offense that goes nowhere. Rachelle just watches for the most part as Stephie eats a lot of offence from Kraven but she holds on and gets the comeback win with KISS MY SASS. Time: 7:35 Stephie 6, Kraven 5 rating 1.5

Biff Busick v. Kyle O’Reilly
After enduring the last match, the fans were ready for something different and these two delivered. Some awesome back and forth counters as expected. There as a great exchange where O’Reilly avoided a high back suplex and then transitioned into a guillotine choke and then ARMAGEDOON but Busick made the ropes. Things began more intense and the two ended up brawling on the floor. Busick turned O’Reilly inside out with a clothesline on the floor and he could not recover before the ten count. Time: 2:15 Busick 5, O’Reilly 5 rating 2.5

Timothy Thatcher v. Zack Sabre Jr.
If you are a fan of submission grappling then you came to the right place. Sabre Jr. is on fire early on using is speed to get the upper hand before striking with rolling elbows and then grinding away with a prawn hold. CROSS ARMBREAKER does not get the win but a Dragon Suplex rocks the fans. Thatcher makes a comeback after getting the best of Sabre Jr. outside the ring. Thatcher is almost cruel in his intentions as hold after hold punishes his opponent. Sabre manages to survive a FUJIWARA ARMBAR and even with the support of the fans, he cannot mount a comeback. A tombstone plants Sabre Jr. and gives Thatcher an impressive comeback win. Time: 2:57 Thatcher 5, Sabre Jr. 7 Time: 2:57 Rating 3.0

Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) v. Gentlemen’s Club (Chuck Taylor & Drew Gulak)
The fans are having fun with this one before the bell even sounds. All four men see action early on before Ricochet takes flight against Gulak. CHOCOLATE RAIN hits but Taylor and Swann join the action starting a wild brawl. Inner City keeps control. Deathjump crossbody nearly ends it and a second CHOCOLATE RAIN does get the three count. Impressive win for Swann & Ricochet. Time: 2:00 Ricochet 2, Swann 3, Gulak 7, Taylor 3 Rating 1.5

Jon Davis v. Jay Briscoe
The fans are some big expectations for the battle between these two but it was over quickly. Briscoe took the early control a back elbow and tackle in the corner. A Military Press DVD rocked and set up a JAY DRILLER for the one sided victory Time: 0:45. Davis 4, Briscoe 1 Rating Dud

Johnny Gargano v. Roderick Strong
The fans are chanting for both men as we get underway. Strong dominates the action forces Gargano to take multiple trips to the floor earning him serious heat from the fans who want some action. Strong eventually has had enough and comes out to the floor and cracks Gargano across the back with a chair shot. The bell sounds and the main event ends in a disqualification. The fans are not pleased with back to back weak matches to end the night. Time: 1:10 Gargano 1, Strong 2 rating dud

Up next, OWN presents action from Pro Wrestling Eclipse. The New Dawn bouts have been all signed and the action should be intense as we will see the crowning of a PWE Champion and a PWE Flame Champion as well. Here is the line up:

Finally, Smash Wrestling returns to action on Card 7 as they present Danger Zone. After the wild battle between Trent Baretta & Uhaa Nation tonight, promoters were quick to sign a rematch. But this time, they each bring a partner. The Premier Athlete Brand of Trent Baretta & Anthony Nese will face the team of Uhaa Nation and his partner AR Fox!

I can't say much more than this, I agree with everything that Pariah said. That was a fun show and I want to add that being a fan of Sassy Stephie I was happy to see her fight back to get the win over the tough Vanessa Kraven.

OWN 03 – Pro Wrestling Eclipse New Dawn, Oshawa Legion, Oshawa, ON

Shaun Ricker w/Percy Pringle III v. Brian Cage
The winner of this battle between former partners gets the final spot in the tonight’s Royal Rumble Battle Royal while the loser gets the first spot. This one was awesome from start to finish. With so much history between these two the counters were flawless and the momentum went back and forth. Before it was all said and done, both men had gone through a table in crazy power spots at ringside and both men had hit their finishers. Pringle made his presence known as well causing a distraction at one point to save Ricker and later pulling the referee out of the ring to break up a pin attempt. That move nearly tipped the scales in favour of Ricker but Cage was a machine tonight and picked up the win after an impressive looking GMSI. Time 8:50 Ricker 9, Cage 5 Rating 5.0

Pinky v. Ryan Taylor
There was a significant size difference between these two competitors which Taylor compensated for with his speed and agility. It worked perfectly. Pinky had no counter attack to Taylor’s offense which included a lengthy Omoplata Crossface and a Muta Lock. A PERFECT CIRCLE ended it. Time 1:14 Pinky 6, Taylor 3 Rating (1.0)

Pro Wrestling Eclipse Flame Championship Match – Courtney Rush v. Portia Perez
Classic speed against power in this match with Perez getting a quick start and nearly getting the win with a SUPERKICK. Rush stops Perez cold with a T-Bone Suplex that looks great and later cracks Perez with the Flame Title Belt at ringside drawing great heat. Perez makes a comeback and catches Rush with nice looking deathjump cross body for the win to claim the championship. Time: 1:30 Rush 6, Perez 4 Rating (2.0)

Rockness Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) v. PPRay (Ray Rosas & “Pretty” Peter Avalon)
The fans are ready to have some fun with these two teams battling it out. Yuma gets in some trouble early on and takes two ROSAS R RED and then the MARTI-KNEES but somehow stays alive long enough to get the tag to Goodtime who crushes Avalon with a Space Conflict from Beyond Pluto, the Falcon Arrow and then a tope con hilo to get the comeback win. Time: 1:10 Goodtime 3, Yuma 6, Avalon 5, Rosas 4 Rating (1.5)

Willie Mack v. vOodOo kAos
The fans are solidly behind Mack who uses a weight advantage as he defense to counter the attack of his opponent. Mack with a huge shoulder tackle but kAos manages to send him into the ropes again and this time Mack stuns everyone with a quick inside cradle for the three count. (Snake Eyes). Time: 0:53. Mack 2, kAos 4 Rating (1.0)

Nick Madrid v. Adam Pearce
It appears from the outset that Pearce may have not taken his opponent seriously and Madrid nearly made he pay the price. However, Pearce quickly gained some respect for Madrid and went to work on the neck and the legs of Madrid including lariats and lengthy figure four leglock. Pearce dominated the last half of the bout and picked up the win with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER Time: 1:59 Pearce 2, Madrid 7 Rating (2.0)

Los Banditos (Tito Escondito & Rico Dynamite) v. The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) w/Olivia
The fans had some high expectations for this battle between two teams have feuded all over California in the past. They did not disappoint. The action went back and forth and in and out of the ring. Two tables were broken before it was all said and done. Both sides used plenty of double teaming on offense and were able to make critical defensive tags when they needed to. Twice Lion kicked out after an F5 from Escondido. On the other side, Escondido survived a MONUMENT VALLEY DRIVER and Dynamite escapes an ANKLE LOCK. The intensity between the two sides was too much and Dynamite took things too far when cracked Warrior with a chair shot at ringside busting him open. The referee called for the bell and disqualified Los Banditos. After the match, both sides continued to brawl to the back. Time : 8:05 Dynamite 4, Escondido 6, Lion 5, Warrior 4 Rating (4.0)

Wow! Rosas did some major damage in that rumble, eliminating four individuals before getting tossed by Ryan Taylor... But, the Machine makes the most out of his position and becomes the Pro Wrestling Eclipse Champion...

Cage also had a spectacular match against Ricker to open the show and I hope we see these two collide again soon... Next time with the title on the line...

Los Banditos vs The Tribe was an exceptional bout as well, despite the DQ finish...

Really looking forward to the next installment of Alpha 1... Especially the chance to see M-Dogg in action...

Thank you for the feedback Pariah. Battle Royals can be tedious to play out but it always fun when competitor comes out of nowhere with a solid performance. Rosas was on fire for a stretch. Cage v. Ricker was a great way to open and I was happy that Cage won the title. I also like that Madrid score the upset elimination of Terex.

OWN 04 – Alpha 1 Wrestling State 1, Phase 1 Knights of Columbus Hall, Hamilton, ON

Eric Ryan v. Robert Anthony
Anthony was very impressive in the early going but TACO PIZZA does not get the job done. We get a referee bump and Ryan takes advantage but there is no referee to see a RYANTAMER. The referee is soon back to his senses and we get a stellar match from that point with plenty of near falls. Anthony takes it with an Ace Crusher for the three count. Time: 2:36 Ryan 8, Anthony 5 Rating 2.5

Rockness Monsters (Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime) v. To Infinity and Beyond (Cheech & Colin Delany)
The fans are entertained by the Monsters and they build on that momentum. Yuma hits SEX FACTOR for a big near fall on Cheech who gets struck in the ring. EXPLOSIVE AMMESIA 91 ends it while Goodtime blocks Delany from making the save. Time 0:43 Goodtime 3, Yuma 3, Cheech 6, Delany 3 Rating dud

Arik Royal v. Louis Lyndon
The story in this one was the much larger Royal giving Lyndon a beating that was off the charts. Twice KURT COBAIN SICK KICK nearly took Lyndon’s head off but each time Royal went for the win Lyndon was able to kick out or make the ropes. Lyndon would get the occasional furry in before Royal would over power him and crush into in the mat with a suplex of some kind. Royal was finally able to trap Lyndon in a Cloverleaf to earn the submission. Time: 4:29 Lyndon 12, Royal 2. Rating 2.0

“Dirty” Andy Dalton v. Lighting Mike Quackenbush
The fans get solidly behind Quackenbush but Dalton’s willingness to bend the rules with chokes gives him the advantage. A lariat turns Quackenbush inside out and a PILEDRIVER nearly ends it. Quackenbush cannot recover from that point and a tombstone piledriver gives Dalton the win. Time: 1:20 Dalton 3, Quackenbush 6 Rating (1.0)

Incoherence (Delirious & Frightmare) v. ACDC (Darin Corbin & Arik Cannon)
The fans are ready for some fast paced back and forth action from these four competitors but this one ends far too quickly. Things are just starting to pick up when Delirious and Cannon go to the floor and tear things up. Delirious takes things too far when he makes uses of a chair and earns his team a disqualification. After the match, Frightmare is frustrated. Time: 0:49 Delirious 3, Frightmare 2, Cannon 4, Corbin 3 Rating dud

Brodie Lee v. El Generico
Generico plays the perfect undersized babyface against the big powerful heel and the fans eat it up. Plenty of chanting from ringside and Lee does great selling as Generico goes on a run that starts with an Ole Kick. Lee powers back and kills Generico with a BIG BOOT for a near fall. Generico recovers and they go back and forth. The action goes to the floor and Genercio is able to backdrop Lee onto the ringside table. The fans explode just like the table. The bell sounds and Lee is announced as the winner by disqualification. Time: 4:29. Lee 4, Generico 4, Rating 2.5

Matt Cross v. “#Allego” Ethan Page
There is a brief delay while ringside is cleared of debris but with Page in the ring the heat is soon back at a high level. Cross and Page put on a classic as the action goes back and forth. Cross hits DEATH FROM ABOVE but cannot get the win. BOOM! Head Shot nearly gets the win for Page. They brawl on the floor. Cross takes flight as the action progresses and the fans eat it up. DEATH FROM ABOVE hits and gets two before Cross nails a second DEATH FROM ABOVE. Time: 5:22 Cross 7, Page 7 Rating 4.0

Four Way Alpha Male Title Qualifier: “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander v. Lance Hoyt v. Eddie Kingston v. Claudio Castagnoli
Really solid action from start to finish in this one. By the time it is all said and done, the fans get to see finishers from all four men and plenty of pin saves and power moves. Hoyt had a strong run halfway through the contest getting the best of all three men and at one point was alone in the ring with his three opponents in a heap on the floor. A TEXAS TORNADO on Castagnoli shakes the ring but does not get the win. Kingston manages to lay low for most of the contest and pick his spots including a SLIDING D on Alexander but the pin was broken up. The finish comes when Alexander plants Kingston with a TWISTING TOMBSTONE but Castagnoli breaks up the pin, tosses Alexander to the floor and then crushes Kingston with a RICOLA BOMB for the three count. Time: 13:19 Alexander 3, Castagnoli 6, Kingston 3, Hoyt 3 Rating 3.5

Superb performance by the Swiss Superman in the main event... He has to be considered a front runner to win the Alpha Male title...

Brodie Lee and El Generico put on quite a show... Right up until the disappointing DQ decision... Hopefully, we'll see a rematch between these two...

Highlight of the show had to be watching M-Dogg score an impressive win over #AllEgo... The acrobatic antics of Cross are always great fun...

Great to see things are heating up in the OWN... Another excellent show!

That was an awesome win for Claudio Castagnoli in the four-way particularly since he looked to be the most fatigued but still won it. I really liked El Generico vs. Brodie Lee as well.

The previous card with the Rumble Battle Royal was epic with "The Machine" Brian Cage grabbing the gold. I really enjoyed that a lot. Keep the great action coming.
