Portland, OR Pro Wrestling America TV The broadcast portion of the live event first with the Main Event and special features after the cameras stop rolling.
Belgian Brawler Dupae Rupa in a minor upset over Cowboy Scott Casey. Match got heated where they brawled on the ring apron. Rupa got the upperhand and used a Top Rope Clothesline to stun and pin Casey.
Masked Superstar def. Jim Powers. The methodical Superstar broke down Powers in a hurry and finished the match with a 3-move sequence: Superstar Clothesline, COBRA HOLD and NECKBREAKER for the pin.
The brackets were announced for the special Megabucks tag-team challenge tournament in Buffalo NY with these Quarterfinal matches: Claudio Castagnoli and Pampero Firpo (with Eddie Fyne) vs. Magnum TA and Dr. Death
Masked Superstars 1&2 vs. Oliver Humperdink's Towers of Power (Warlord and One Man Gang)
The Killer Bees vs. Capt Lou Albano's entry: TWF Champion Mr. Saito and Mr. Fuji. Saito is attempting to become a dual title holder.
The Fantastics vs. Bobby Heenan's Kong Squad (King Kong Bundy and King Kong Mosca)
The winners of the event will get an immediate shot at the TWF Tag-Team Titles held by the Megabucks, Andre The Giant and Ted Dibiase. If the tournament winners win the belts they also receive $100,000!!! All this and an added bonus for the Buffalo fans: Randy Savage vs. Dutch Savage in a battle of top contenders.
One Man Gang with Oliver Humperdink def. Black Hole Bart. Knowing he would not have many chances against the monstrous Gang, Bart lunged at him with a clothesline early on. Gang was too fresh and savvy and sidestepped the space cowboy to catch Bart, throw him down into a high-impact Scoop Body Slam, which was followed by a 747 SPLASH for the win.
Warlord with Oliver Humperdink def. Tony Atlas. This matchup of muscle men started with a test of strength and ended immediately with a high gut wrench on Atlas. Warlord's quick win over the former tag-team titlist stunned the Portland crowd. The Towers of Power look ready for the Megabucks challenge.
The broadcast closed with stand-by match as Light Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn def. Sam Houston in a non-title event. The match began with nearfalls for both: Lynn used a DDT and Top Rope Hunancanrana for a 2 ½ count. When Lynn tried a top rope maneuver, Houston rolled through the body press for a 2.9 count! Lynn recovered nicely and gained control using a Top Rope Sunset and CRADLE PILEDRIVER for the duke. Fans were appreciative of this scientific encounter.
== INTERMISSION ==
The Patriot def. Mr. Fuji with Lou Albano. A neckbreaker drop left Fuji open for an UNCLE SLAM.
Pampero Firpo and Claudio Castignoli (with Eddie Fyne) def. Magnum TA and Dr. Death, DQ. Referee Morgan Dollar tossed Fyne during introductions as Fyne was giving Dollar an earful about biased officiating.
Claudio refused to tag in when Magnum was in-ring “saving himself for the big tournament”. Firpo did not seem to mind and battled both Magnum and Williams with Claudio sticking his nose in every so often. Magnum had enough and used a chair to clear the ring, prompting Dollar to call for the bell.
Dutch Savage won the TWF Title from Mr. Saito (with Mr. Fuji)! The clothesline was the preferred method of destruction for Savage, using it repeatedly. It was ultimately that method which sealed the title for him. Savage celebrated in his adopted home town much to the shock of Saito and Fuji who walked backstage in disbelief.
NOTES: The title match had a big impact on the upcoming card in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Saito will no longer have the opportunity to become a dual titleholder with his loss of the TWF Championship to Dutch Savage....Additionally, the bonus match between Dutch Savage and Randy Savage will now have the TWF Championship at stake!! See you at ringside.

Megabucks Tag-Team Challenge Tournament at Buffalo, NY Quarterfinals
Claudio Castagnoli and Pampero Firpo (with Eddie Fyne) def. Magnum TA and Dr. Death.
Unlike when these teams faced in Portland, Claudio was involved from the get-go but teased Magnum from the start. Claudio and Doc collided violently in mid-ring with Claudio first to his feet and tagged in Firpo. The wild man used EL GARFIO to pin the KO'd Williams and advance.
Bill Apter interviewed TWF Champion Dutch Savage in the ring. Dutch stated that he will not hide from challenges and will place the title on the line tonight in his match against Randy Savage. The Dutchman also challenged former Champion Mr. Saito to special match during the upcoming November Pain card in Philadelphia.
Masked Superstars 1&2 def. Oliver Humperdink's Towers of Power (Warlord and One Man Gang).
The Masked Superstars used a grinding offense to rattle the Towers of Powers who looked listless against the two masked men. Superstar 2 used a Big Elbow Smash to pin Gang.
The Killer Bees def. Capt Lou Albano's entry: TWF Champion Mr. Saito and Mr. Fuji. Things are not going well for Mr. Saito as the Bees upended Captain Lou's Samurai Duo. Fuji and Saito started great, using all kinds of tactics (legal and otherwise) to get the Bees on the run. Fuji trapped Brunzell in his signature nerve pinch but the Bees used MASKED CONFUSION with a SUNSET FLIP to win this quarterfinal.
The Fantastics def. Bobby Heenan's Kong Squad (King Kong Bundy and King Kong Mosca). Much like the Towers of Power, the Kong Squad looked like they were moving in quicksand. The Fantastics used a PRESS SLAM AND SPLASH on their partner for a near fall on Mosca. Angelo fought back and whipped Fulton into the ropes, but Fulton used the momentum to duck and right hand punch from the basement to gain the flash pin.
Semifinal A
Masked Superstars def. Claudio Castagnoli and Pampero Firpo (with Eddie Fyne) Superstars won their 2nd match with Superstar #1's classic NECKBREAKER on Claudio for the win. Great match with several escapes from pinfalls by each squad.
== INTERMISSION == Semifinal B The Fantastics def. Killer Bees in an awesome scientific clinic. A chain of 7 consecutive reversals and defensive tags started this encounter and the action never let up. The Fantastics finally gained the upper hand with a sunset off the ropes from Fulton. This jolted the Bees and led to a sequence of two ROCKET LAUNCHERS, a PRESS TO SPLASH and another Fulton right hand on a dizzy Blair for the win. Excellent match.
Finals The Fantastics def. Masked Superstars to win the title shot. The LA duo's speed was too much for the masked men. Fulton launched himself off the corner for a deathjump which led to a ROCKET LAUNCHER, PRESS TO SPLASH sequence to win.
Randy Savage (with the Huntress) won the TWF Championship from Dutch Savage. The Macho Man's long hard climb back to the top was complete as he controlled the match from bell to bell. Randy roughed up Dutch outside the ring and used the running knee to back to continually stun the champion. Macho Man's FLYING ELBOW brought the title home for Randy.
TWF Tag-Team Champions The Megabucks (Andre the Giant and Ted Dibiase with Virgil) def. The Fantastics.
The LA express could not keep going to the top and was derailed by the champions. Fatigue played a major factor as the Fantastics were in their fourth bout of the evening while a top-flite team like the Megabucks sat in the back. Tommy Rogers fell victim to two giant BIG SPLASHES from Andre followed by the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER by Dibiase to end their title hopes.

NOVEMBER PAIN from Philadelphia (part one):
TWF Light-Heavy Champion Jerry Lynn opened the card with a defense against Ricky Landell. Lynn dominated the match with his speed but Landell came back furiously with ringside battle which drew the ire of Lynn who lost his temper and hit the referee when he tried to seperate the two. Landell wins by DQ.
Megabucks Inter-promotional Battle Royal Challenge. TWF Tag-Team Champions Megabucks entered the match with 9 other teams: From the TWF: The Fantastics, Killer Bees, Towers of Power (Warlord and One Man Gang), Masked Superstars along with the team of Scott Casey and Sam Houston.
From 80s Mania: The Super Powered team of Warhawk and HammerHead, The Masterminds along with the duo of Ace Arcadium and Mighty Leo.
Finally, making their TWF return were former TWF Tag-Team Champions The Road Warriors!!
Order of elimination... 1. Skullgore eliminated by Mighty Leo (Cobalt Commander eliminated as well) 2. One Man Gang eliminated by Animal as the Chicago street fighter attacked Animal while he was tussling with Gang's partner, Warlord. Animal will continue to show his savvy in this type of match. (Warlord out with the Gang) 3. Scott Casey eliminated by Andre The Giant. Andre squashed Casey with a BIG SPLASH and uncermoniously dumped him. (Sam Houston was eliminated with Casey) 4. HammerHead eliminated after getting flipped with a slam by Ace Arcadium. (Warhawk walked back in defeat with HammerHead). 5. Masked Superstar eliminated after missing a turnbuckle charge on Animal. The Road Warrior seemed to have eyes in the back of his head tonight. (Masked Superstars eliminated) 6. Tommy Rogers of the Fantastics was eliminated by Jim Brunzell after a DROPKICK. (Fantastics eliminated). 7. Jim Brunzell was promptly eliminated after immediately charging Animal into the turnbuckle, but Animal sidestepped to eliminate the Killer Bees. 8. Ace Arcadium was tossed over the ropes by Andre The Giant, ending the night for Ace and Mighty Leo.
The fans went wild as the last two teams were the TWF Tag-Team Champions The Megabucks versus a set of former titleholders, The Road Warriors! The teams felt each other out and for awhile it looked like a showdown between the the workhorses of this match: Animal eliminated three teams while Andre tossed two, but Dibiase jumped Animal quickly to gain an advantage. In an amazing finish (Battle Royal chart #12) both Dibiase and Animal went over the rope after Andre tried to assist Dibiase.
The referee announced the teams as co-winners and Dibiase claimed the Megabucks are still undefeated as a team. Animal and Hawk were irate and demanded the match to continue, but Dibiase said they had their chance and it went over the ropes with Animal, HAHAHAHAHA!!
A great finish but something tells me this is not the last of this new story. Stay tuned for part two.

NOVEMBER PAIN from Philadelphia (part two):
80s Mania Champion LaZer defended against Dark Invader One would think Dark Invader would have the early advantage with an explosive offense but it was just the opposite as the champ dominated early and often. Seems like these two have allegedly bad blood from another organization. A superplex rocked the masked man, which led to a deathjump and an extended LAZERLOCK. LaZer had 3 times as the intensity of the big man and it showed. A Laser Blast Splash saw Invader topple to the floor but this is where LaZer's wild-eyed offense got the best of him as he slammed him into the corner post and whacked him in the back with the big title belt. The ref reluctantly called for the bell as the Invader never made it off the floor and it took several officials to pull LaZer. Surprising outcome but exciting nonetheless.
TWF Champion Randy Savage (with April The Huntress) defended the title against Magnum TA. November Pain had the honor of having two Match of The Year candidates: the first was the tag-team battle royal and the second was this title match between two fan favorites.
While not heavily hyped due to the relatively short notice, it was a back and forth battle from bell to bell. Magnum started the match on fire and rocked Macho Man with TWO BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES. Savage avoided a three-count when April The Huntress pointed out (or some say slyly placed) Randy's foot on the bottom rope. In any case, the match continued as the champ got his second wind. He used his typical display of knee drops, ax handles and elbow smashes to stagger Magnum. There was one instance where he dove on Magnum onto the floor with his patented Flying Ax Handle!
Magnum looked in rough shape but smashed Savage in the gut after one particular flying ax. This move sent Savage to the floor, but Randy got enough of breather to take the battle at ringside lining up TA for a piledriver on the concrete! TA countered with a back body drop was still weakened and Savage used a rope snap to gain re-entry to the ring. This lead to consecutive Piledrivers to take the match. Each man was bloodied and battered with the Philly fans giving them a Standing Ovation!! Incredible action from these two warriors but we are left to wonder if any rematch is in the cards?
10-man survival tag-team match: Captains Dutch Savage versus Mr. Saito Dutch has on his team old rival Dr. Death Steve Williams, Hacksaw Duggan and The Patriot. Mr. Saito has chosen his partner Mr. Fuji, Claudio Castignoli, Pampero Firpo and Lou Albano as his partners.
Lou Albano came to ringside with his arm in a sling with a sealed manila folder under it. The Captain grabbed the house mike and said he will graciously step aside under doctor's orders. The referee agreed to make the match four on four but since Albano is too injured to wrestle, the TWF will also ban him from ringside to avoid liability. Arena security escorted him away and the elimination match was underway. A turn of the tables on the Captain's Army.
Mr. Saito took a leadership role and began the match intimidating the referee and ring announcer. The introductions were barely underway when Saito hit a SAITO SUPLEX on Dutch. He did not get a pinfall but led an assault with tag-partner and training partner, Mr. Fuji! Saito used a Kendo Stick while Fuji held Dutch's arm over the top rope finally forcing a DQ from the beleagured ref.
The second fall saw Mr. Fuji unable to capitalize on Dutch and then things got rough outside the ring. Savage used the Japanese own Kendo Stick and a slam into the ring bell earning a DQ. This made the match 3 on 3.
Dr. Death and Pampero Firpo begin the next fall and it was wild. Doc tossed Firpo outside the ring and battered the wild man from South America. Firpo stopped the continuous assault and slammed Doc's leg into the corner post. While Doc struggled to his feet he used EL GARFIO for a near fall, but that is when the match got interesting as Williams temper flared. He tossed Firpo again from the ring and the two began to slug it out at ringside. The referee tried to let things play loose but both earned a DQ for swinging chairs. The bell did not stop them from kicking, swinging and slugging their way to the back.
The Patriot and Hacksaw were now left to face Mr. Fuji and Claudio Castagnoli. This version of Stars and Stripes dominated and left Claudio with his bell rung. Duggan tagged out where Patriot used an UNCLE SLAM and a Neckbreaker Drop to force a 2-on-1!
Mr. Fuji tried to make an exit but was stopped on seperate times from both Duggan and Patriot. Patriot used a powerslam to bring Fuji over the ropes where he tagged to Hacksaw who used a piledriver to KO Fuji. However, they were not done as Duggan tagged out again to setup a PATRIOT MISSILE to end the match.
Survivors: Patriot and Hacksaw Duggan!

Wrestling News Update: Two match of the year candidates, three great title matches and a wild tag-team event sure made this a November to Remember ... Rumor has it the following matches will likely occur soon: Dutch Savage and Mr. Saito, Claudio Castignoli versus The Patriot and Dr. Death versus Pampero Firpo ... Unconfirmed is the title picture as it is possible Ricky Landell will get another shot against Jerry Lynn and Dark Invader would like another crack against LaZer but one has to wonder if The Road Warriors are the most deserving of getting a title match in the future, they really took it too all comers in that battle royal, including the Champions- The Megabucks ... Finally, the classic match between TWF Champ Randy Savage and Magnum TA ended with a winner but Magnum gave Savage MANY anxious moments and almost nabbed the title.
See you soon from ringside!

Pro Wrestling America Road Show at Worcester, MA 7 match card with a special Promoter's Dream double tag-team main event! The promoter took fan suggestions to build the double main event:
T.W.F. Champion Randy Savage teams with Mania Champion LaZer against the Dark Invader and former "International" Champion Jet Set Strutter. The two top champions of Pro Wrestling America face a powerhouse team of Mania Wrestling contenders.
Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy and Bobby Heenan reunite for the evening against Lou Albano, Hillbilly Jim and T.W.F. Tag-Team Title Co-Holder Andre the Giant! This was an unusual break for Andre as he agreed to the Promoter's request for this six man special match. Andre's current partner Ted Dibiase and Dibiase's bodyguard Virgil were not in Worcester for this event as they had a "special meeting in the Caribbean negotiating title matches". Whatever the story there, this match had all the fireworks.
Warlord with Oliver Humperdink def. Scott Casey Casey held his own against the powerhouse Warlord, but things fell apart for the cowboy after the action spilled outside the ring. Warlord slammed Casey's leg into the ring post to re-enter the ring and then slapped on the FULL NELSON to capture the fall.
Lanny Poffo upset Tiger Mask! Leaping Lanny had a special Holiday poem before his showdown with Tiger Mask: "We all had our fill of turkey, enough to climb a tree, but the next thing flying into town is Tiger Mask and Me!"
This energized the poet laurete of the TWF and kept Tiger Mask at bay most of the match. Poffo kicked out of two TIGER SUPLEXES and rallied with a body slam, a springboard senton followed quickly with two SKY DROPS for the stunning upset!
A battle of former T.W.F. Champions saw Mr. Saito def. Magnum TA by COR. Mr. Fuji seconded his training partner Saito and caused the usual trouble. Magnum took it to Saito, even using the BELLY TO BELLY for a near fall. Fuji interfered with the pin attempt and an irate Magnum chased Fuji to the back getting counted out in the process.
Promoter's Dream Tag-Team Championship Challenge: T.W.F. Champion Macho Man Randy Savage teamed with Mania Champion LaZer to face Dark Invader and former "International" Champion Jet Set Strutter.
The first half of the Promoter's Dream main event lived up to expectations and LaZer and Savage formed a cohesive team. Invader and Strutter? Not so much. Savage used 2 suplexes on Invader to stun the big man with LaZer topping off the match with a devastating SuperPlex to capture the fall. This SuperPlex was even more impressive than the one LaZer used against the Dark One at November Pain!
The intermission led to the next bout...
One Man Gang with Oliver Humperdink def. Sam Houston Houston suprisingly controlled most of the match even using a cross body block to nearly pin Gang. Sam's luck ran out when he slugged Gang to the floor with some Combo Punches. From that point, Gang roughed up Houston outside even slamming his chains into Sam's ribs. Once the match returned to the ring, the Gang had an easy opening with a 747 SPLASH for the win.
A special Hot Seat with the Wrestling News' Bill Apter. The guest was T.W.F. Champion Macho Man Randy Savage. Apter led the segment to inform everyone that a huge influx of talent is headed for Pro Wrestling America to challenge for the titles. Savage said he is willing to defend his title against anyone competing in Pro Wrestling America, but at that moment Magnum TA arrived at ringside and said Savage still had some unfinished business from November Pain.
Magnum stated the two most popular wrestlers should get one more chance to settle things definitively as the last match we spent too much time on the floor and not enough inside the ring. Savage agreed and will accept a specialty match to decide things, Magnum agreed and asked T.W.F. officials to arrange a contract signing during the upcoming Saturday Night Special prime time broadcast! Fans went crazy from the announcement as expected!
Grudge Match: Pampero Firpo with Eddie Fyne def. Dr. Death Steve Williams, DQ. These two men are becoming fast rivals and this match dialed up the intensity. Morgan Dollar was the referee and kept his nose clean during this slugfest. Unsurprisingly, the match went to the floor and Firpo used a chair on Doc. Dollar missed it due to a distraction from Fyne, but Williams was able to put his hands up to protect his skull. Doc wrangled the chair from Firpo and used it on him followed by a swing on Fyne! Dollar called for the bell as that pushed the line (even though he never saw Firpo with the chair). Doc pleaded to the ref to continue the match but it fell on deaf ears.
Promoter's Dream Six-Man Tag-Team Challenge: The second half of the Promoter's Dream main event was very interesting as T.W.F. Tag-Champion Andre The Giant teamed with Hillbilly Jim and Lou Albano versus the reunited Heenan Family: Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy and Bobby Heenan! Dr. Mike Lano was even at ringside to photograph this unusual matchup.
Lou Albano's team took control of this match with the only true advantage for the Family was when Heenan almost pinned Albano a couple of times using the ropes. Lou was able to tag out and Andre then Jim worked over Studd relentlessly. This led to Andre using a couple of Sitdown Splashes and a BIG SPLASH to rock Studd. Bundy made the save but Andre tagged to Jim who clamped on the BEARHUG to seal the win! While Jim and Lou celebrated, Andre grabbed his tag-title belt and lumbered to the back. The Giant had little interest in celebrating.

The next card is a special prime-time broadcast from Rochester, NY as the Saturday Night Special returns to broadcast TV ...
