UNWELCOME VISITORS
Trisis is the main mouthpiece of Centra as she describes the panic brought upon Centra by the unwelcome visitors. She gives her people a history lesson of Centra as part of her reporting. Explaining the origins and how Antilia was the first place visited in the distant past. It was found to be nothing more than ancient ruins. A place long since abandoned by its inhabitants. Instead the ancestors of her people travelled further to settle on Centra which was a beautiful and fertile planet. Many generations have passed since this time but the remains of the intergalactic space ship is still preserved in a Centra museum. Much of the fear surrounding these visitors links to Antilia as there are many hieroglyphics on the cave walls portraying a fierce race of Ravagers that will attack and ravage anyone that comes their way. They are often called a myth but the possibility that they may return and threaten life on Centra has always been feared. She goes onto mention the other significant location in this dimension called Primus. Only discovered a few centuries ago and a barren place full of craters. Primitive brutes live on Primus and are often studied by scientists. They pose no threat to the evolved society on Centra and the only danger is if someone is silly enough to journey there of their own accord. As for the Centran people they gave up hope of returning to Dimension K long ago. Instead they live happy and peaceful lives. There has been no war. So the sudden emergence of the visitors is being taken very seriously as it could threaten the way of life. Trisis says radio signals with the vistors state that they want to establish a wrestling organisation on Centra which might be a smokescreen for more sinister intentions. Even if genuine there won’t be much appetite for it as professional wrestling has never existed on Centra.
When the ship was finally given clearance to land Trisis was one of the first to see them. Commissioner Morpheus emerged first and immediately assured that they were a peaceful group. The emergence of the other wrestlers caused more panic. It was a real menagerie of freaks as far as the Centrans were concerned. Desolation Factor were initially mistaken for the Ravagers. Then the sight of the Brymstonians and Gladiators didn’t go down too well. Follow that up with guys like Nth Degree, Monad, Mutant, Maelstrom and Splatter and it was really no surprise that there was unease. Morpheus’s statement was backed up Solaris whose wise appearance seemed to put the assembled crowd at ease. Solaris sensed it was better to be the spokesmen and explained the reasons for their appearance and asked if the GWF could stage its shows on Centra. He was told that the Centra Palladium would be the best place as it is the main arena for staging events. Solaris liked the sound of the 40,000 capacity and said the GWF would pay a large percentage of any profits to the Centran government in taxes to make it worthwhile.
In order to put up a strong front the Centrans appointed Corporal Aegis as their main spokesperson. He is the leader of the Ramparts of Centra (ROC). He confident stepped forward to confer privately with both Morpheus and Solaris. After a few minutes he made an announced that a press conference would take place the very next day to discuss the possible future of the GWF on Centra.

GWFC PRESS CONFERENCE SUMMARY (Trisis and Johnny Rocket covering)
• Corporal Aegis says a meeting between top brass in Centra agrees the GWF proposal is acceptable after being satisfied they are not invaders.
• Commissioner Morpheus says matches will not only take place at the Centra Palladium but also Antilia and Primus to add variety and potential new special matches.
• The fed will be renamed to the GWFC.
• Mandrill causes a stir by appearing and declaring war against Centra and that its people will become his slaves. Morpheus assures Aegis that Mandrill does not speak for the rest of them. Already the biggest feud is in motion as Aegis challenges Mandrill and his Colonizer team to a feud. Genocide causes a cheer when he bursts on the scene and pledges to assist Aegis. We also learn that Aegis has a tag team ready called the SWAT Team.
• In the second press conference Johnny Rocket takes centre stage. Even though Trisis has known about the history of the GWF a very short time she’s done her homework and it bowls her over. The Rocketmen have signed Paragon who is the current GWF Heavyweight champion and presumably will continue that role in GWFC. Finally Johnny has got his man. In fact Johnny’s assembled quite a team as Enigma is also revealed.
• The last press conference is very dramatic as Lord Nexus tries to deliver a humanitarian gesture and restore Montrol from the distorted mind of Mutant. Doomsayer finally agreed to help and put it through his Transevolver. The experiment goes horribly wrong as Mutant changes into an even more wild creature than before. As Doomsayer speculates the radiation dose may have been too much or that the changes were so long as to be irreversible a massive shock is delivered. One of the Terrorists comes out and reveals himself as Montrol (the other man is Ghengis Khan). Turns out Mutant was always a Mutant and that Montrol escaped Krakan’s lethal attack near his CTA-102 home. Not totally unharmed at the time but was able to recover. Montrol declares to continue the war against Krakan. He refuses to ally himself with Lord Nexus despite the attempt to help him. Actually declaring Lord Nexus is still an enemy because of the way he used to embarrass him in the ring and in a way that was the catalyst for this whole mess.
I'll do a little roster summary soon and then it's time to crack on with 2110!

ROSTER SUMMARY
RAMPARTS OF CENTRA (Corporal Aegis, The SWAT team, Genocide, Max Shield, Trisis)
Corporal Aegis has accepted the challenge of Mandrill by leading his team, ROC, in a major feud against the Colonizers. He’s the best athlete on Centra and now he is the most popular. Despite the wrestling inexperience his combat skills should more than make up for it and Aegis is expected to hit the ground running. He has recruited two tough as nails men in Trench and Warfare. Together they are the SWAT team. However having former Genesis members Genocide and Max Shield as part of the team is what might give ROC it’s best chance of matching up to the Colonizers. Genocide has declared the puny weakling Buck Steele is gone. That’s almost correct as the wild side has almost completely taken over and he will be starting most of his matches as Genocide which is bad news for whoever faces him. Max Shield is adamant the Genesis team is not dead but for now lends his full support to Aegis. There are very few people from the ‘other’ dimension that Aegis fully trusts and Max is one of them. Their friendship will be tested to the hilt by Mandrill. The final team member is Trisis. She is very loyal to Centra and wanted to help the team. She’s not much of a fighter but is very athletic and will sometimes try and distract referees to help her team win. Her other big role is as presenter of the main talk show called the Trisis Showcase. The main theme is to introduce the wrestlers to the Centra public. Expect some wild things to happen in them from time to time!
COLONIZERS OF CENTRA (Mandrill, Rebel Empire, Wraith, Painmaster, Sentry)
Mandrill has stunned the GWFC by changing the name of the team to the Colonizers of Centra. Virtually a declaration war against Centra. Showing he’s learned nothing from the UFSP ban. As well as ROC guys like Commando Sam and Morpheus will be trying to keep him in check. Mandrill’s biggest opponent though will be Genocide and everyone is hoping that will be enough to stop his conquering plans. He is backed up as always by the imposing Rebel Empire and the traitorous Wraith. However he could have problems ahead with Painmaster and Sentry. Both have made some noises of discontent. Painmaster worries that Wraith has replaced him as Mandrill’s right hand man. The fact that Wraith is being lined up to feud with Corporal Aegis more or less confirms that. Whilst Sentry is frustrated at being blown off by Mandrill whenever he asks about returning to in-ring action.
FDF (Commando Sam, Pegasus, Lance At-Las, Desolation Factor, Code Enforcer Euritar, Code Enforcer Manslaughter, Supernova, Ms. Liberty)
Commando Sam has put together a strong team to keep an eye on all the villain elements. Though the team’s eyes are chiefly on the “Aethran Scum” as Sam sees them as the main reason for wrestling being banned from Dimension K. He’s taken advantage of the Champions team folding to recruit Pegasus and Lance At-Las. Massive signings. However he suffered a loss when Defender of the Realm left the FDF without reason (more on this later). Pegasus is of course the leading light and he aims to show he’s the best wrestler in the GWFC like he was in the GWF. The only problem is Pegasus’s constant bragging and arrogance. Star Warrior was able to overlook it but Sam finds it irritating. Can Sam successfully manage a man he respects as a wrestler but dislikes as a person? Lance At-Las was never going to retire and return to his nomad life in Dimension K. The chance to explore a new dimension was just too exciting. He aims to prove he is not over the hill yet in a feud with fellow vet Spike. Who knows, they could be feuding over the Heavyweight belt because Spike, as at the end of 2109, was surprisingly listed as the top contender. Although with all the upheaval that might change with a reset. Desolation Factor are ready to take on the new look Gladiator tag team of Malice and Overkill. They are boldly claiming Thunder took so many bumps from them this is why he is running away to singles action. The Code Enforcers also remain on the team and are a potent force. The mysterious identity of the unknown Code Enforcer has been confirmed as Euritar. An ultra talented wrestler from Scorpius. He was discovered on a tip from Destructon 3000 who had stayed involved with wrestling in independent promotions. He was trained up by Morpheus and Omega and unleashed in 2108. His unmasking was inevitable as Euritar was tired of playing the mystery man and he claims he let the Gladiators do it. He is now ready to make a name for himself in a massive feud with Thunder. Let’s not forget the other Code Enforcer Manslaughter. He has proven himself as one of the kings of hardcore wrestling and remains dedicated to enforcing the Galactic Code. The final members are Supernova and Ms. Liberty. When they team up as Feminine Fury they’ll mainly be going after the Hellions. It was a surprise Supernova didn’t stay behind with her family but she loves wrestling too much and still considers herself to be in prime condition. Tellingly she has said how worried she is about the pressure Star Warrior is feeling and that he may not be able to handle it. Hopefully he will receive support from Omega and be the same brother she loves so much when and if they return. As for Ms. Liberty she has brought her son, Adam, with her to the alien dimension. Confident that he will be taken care of on Centra and determined to prove to US. Traitor she is functioning just fine without him.
GLADIATORS OF AETHRA (Massacre, Brute, Vengeance, Malice, Overkill, Thunder, Mayhem, Thrash)
Massacre refuses to accept Aethran responsibility for the wrestling ban. Failing to see how the Aethran military attacks are relevant. He has many enemies as almost everyone blames him. At the moment Massacre is unworried. He does not think the Gladiators have bitten off more than they can chew. Whether we will see much of him at ringside remains to be seen. It is expected he will stand behind Brute who is managing the team in a difficult time. The team is united against outsiders but there are split loyalties between Massacre and Vengeance within. Vengeance claims the key decisions to switch the team around are down to him. He says “I may not be our manager but I’m our leader”. The best way he can prove his standing is to defeat the legendary Pegasus in a huge singles feud and also hold the Heavyweight belt (which is something he’s not done nearly enough in the past). Malice has had to accept the biggest change by switching to tag teaming. He and Overkill represent a duo of considerable power perhaps even surpassing the legendary Brute and Massacre. Malice says he is happy to accept this change as he is team player. Overkill on the other hand is saying nothing. It’s clear he supports Vengeance though and this could be a reason why he has been denied a cleansing which should have been due around 2105 or 2106. Maybe Brute and Massacre are denying him this honour as punishment for being too close to Vengeance. Out of all the Gladiators the loyalties of Thunder are toughest to read. He is being given the big push now as the singles star regardless of whose decision it was. The first big feud to negotiate will be against Code Enforcer Euritar. Some incredible matches are expected. Everyone knows Thunder possesses one of the most incredibly potent offensive arsenals and he is hotly tipped to become a Heavyweight champion of the future. Spike and Mayhem are kind of the forgotten men. Two old geezers hanging around as some have cruelly described. Mayhem probably doesn’t have any allegiances and being on the team is a temporary convenience. Spike ended last year in brilliant form and was about to get a title shot. However circumstances have changed and it would be a surprise if that happened now. Finally we come to Thrash. She’ll be waging war mainly with Supernova. However her feud with Amazonia will always simmer in the background. For the record her allegiance lies with Vengeance.
THE ROCKETMEN (Johnny Rocket, Paragon, Twin Blood, Enigma, Skinhead, Nora Pelf)
What a team Johnny Rocket has assembled. The acquisitions of Paragon and Enigma are huge. He’s already humiliated Magnus Colby by stealing his wife. Now he aims to finish the job and defeat Team CPC. The main difficulty will be dealing with Paragon whose ego is as huge as ever. Especially so as he was the last GWF Heavyweight champion. Whether he will be the champ to start GWFC is not known yet (more on that later). Johnny certainly hopes he has inherited the belt. Paragon brags he is bigger than the CPC and WGX and that Colby was stupid to try and order him back to that washed up organisation. He aims to dominate GWFC too and also to silence the self proclaimed ‘new big man of Team CPC’ Terminus. When you look further into the team its obvious how stacked they are. Johnny has the tools to win all the belts too. Twin Blood don’t have anything to prove. They were the last GWF Tag champions and are unquestionably the most naturally gifted tag team. Enigma has a big ego to match Paragon and finds himself thrust into a big feud against Bloodline. He felt joining the Champions was his big break only to be frustrated. Now is the time to make a big mark. Although suspicion is he will play second fiddle. At the moment Johnny is more smitten with Paragon. Skinhead is another who wants a bigger role. He has adopted a more punk image and with his previous finisher struggling to finish opponents off he has started using an illegal loaded glove move to help him win easier. Maybe he is having to do so because he is living life a little too fast these days. His legendary feud with Prodigy continues. Last but not least Nora Pelf. She’s still a couple with Johnny. However seems you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. After a year of being a ‘regular’ girl she’s started boasting about wealth again and how poor and dumb her rival Anaxis is.
TEAM CPC (Thantos, Terminus, Bloodline, Disorder X, Prodigy, Anaxis)
Thantos refers to Paragon as the ‘Big Idiot’ for leaving Team CPC. He also makes sure everyone knows he has not been bought by Magnus Colby and is no CPC flunky leading to speculation he may have something up his sleeve. Especially as Colby has no control over this team being an entire dimension away. His two big moves are to replace Millennium with Disorder X and bring Terminus in to lead the team. Terminus has a big task trying to get the better of Paragon. However he engaged in a big feud with Wolf a few years ago and lived to tell the tale so he’s certainly capable of dealing with it. Bloodline remains a huge prospect and had a solid debut year amid the controversy surrounding the relationship with his family. He has just now to deal with his obnoxious sister Supernova who he insists should stop calling him and accept he wants nothing to do with his screwed up family. With Colussus returning to the CPC and Heracles going back to Ancient Greece Thantos acted swiftly to make sure he had a top tag team. Disorder X didn’t need much persuading as it pitches them into direct conflict with Twin Blood. They may openly despise each other but they despise Twin Blood even more. They are an effective team if they can work together. Prodigy remains close to Thantos even though he had a less than stellar year in 2109. He is obviously the better singles wrestler when compared with rival Skinhead but has suffered alarming losses to him in more recent times. Prodigy aims to get back on top. He is certainly in the better shape of the two. Anaxis was determined not to go back with Heracles to a place where she’ll be treated as a third class citizen. She secretly boarded the cruiser and made the trip. Thantos was more than happy to include her on his team again but will she be treated as the equal that she craves? Only time will tell.
THE CENTAURIANS (Lorelei, Wolf, Blade, Archon, Amazonia)
It is clear Lorelei is still deeply affected by the loss of Crossfire all those years ago. She is making plenty of noise about how proud she is of her son, Blade, for having the courage to take revenge in the ring against Blazing Skull. Blade is keen to follow through on such comments by challenging Blazing to plenty of Lava Pit and Ruins of Antilia matches. Lorelei is also comforted by having Wolf on the team. Wolf doesn’t care that he is not quite as popular on Centra. In fact he’s like marmite as some love him and some loathe him. Amazingly his slow ageing means he is still very much in his prime and he has even evolved his style to add new moves. He hopes that will be enough to get the best of Anarchy. Both are hardcore in the ring. The big difference is Wolf knows right from wrong outside. Am sure when push comes to shove the people of Centra will have his back over Anarchy’s. However here comes the problem. Archon is opposed to Wolf being on the team and doesn’t like all this revenge talk. Can he last in a team where he says “nobody listens to me”? He won’t be too enamoured by Amazonia either as she follows her mate Wolf. Her warrior ways and determination to get stuck into the Hellions and Thrash with her shield and sword cause him sleepless nights. Amazonia has even boldly vowed to step in the ring with the men if the GWFC will let her.
BRYMSTONE BURNING (Maleph, Anarchy, Blazing Skull, Tortured Soul)
Maleph is getting off on he fear factor the Brymstonians have injected into Centran society. He vows to prey on those fears by destroying the Centaurians in the ring in the most brutal fashion possible. That will just be the start. Before long disorder and fire will spread throughout Centra. As for the wrestlers themselves. Anarchy is poised to turn his feud with Wolf into one just as extreme as Wolf and Mayhem in the past. Blazing Skull is also continuing to be threatening but he still claims the death of Crossfire was an accident. Deep down does he actually have a conscience?
FIGHTING TITANS (Lord Nexus, Rising Sun, Titan Attack, Meteor)
Lord Nexus was wrong about Montrol. Everyone was fooled. In order to replace Mutant (who has inexplicably joined the Terrorists) he offered Meteor a spot on the team in order to help him fight his demons. Meteor got out of rehab just in time to make the trip. Lord Nexus feels very happy about the progress Rising Sun has made as a singles wrestler. Rising is not naturally hardcore but raised his game in 2109 and looks set to continue that improvement. Many of his opponents struggled to adjust to his hard hitting martial arts style. Rising is also enjoying high levels of popularity and is almost on the level of Corporal Aegis. There is also a lot of hope for Titan Attack especially as Scion Nexus has made significant improvements. They purposely don’t use a double team finisher as it makes them easily able to adapt to singles matches if needed. They also think singles finishers are more effective for finishing off opponents even in tag bouts. The team will be no pushovers in the GWFC and can beat any team on any given night. Finally as mentioned earlier Meteor is on the team and will feud mainly with the likes of Grovel and Mutant. Meteor is so grateful and sees Lord Nexus as a role model. He also has his long time buddy Lance At-Las for support. In fact they may even team up on occasion. Hopefully Meteor can rapidly improve.
THE TERRORISTS (Ghengis Khan and Montrol, Draconian Sheik, Mutant, Lethal Lottery, Sniper)
Ghengis Khan and Montrol are united in their hate for Krakan. Everyone on the team has been betrayed by him at some point. The aim now is to make him suffer. Their main weapon of torture will be Draconian Sheik who will target Dark Justice and Rising Sun. Lethal Lottery meanwhile are goggle eyed at the prospect of new hardcore matches. They are more interested in conducting wild matches than they are winning belts. Shockingly the Terrorists have picked up Mutant. It is slightly stronger than before having been exposed to the Transevolver and perhaps even more disgusting and wild. In a throwback to the much loved Mutant-Creeper feud it now goes against another unevolved creature in Grovel. A native of Primus. Meteor will also be a regular opponent. In a big twist Sniper has revealed of her hatred for Krakan. She is another that has been used and spat out by him. The finer details of their past relationship remains unknown. Krakan has counter acted her presence on the team by signing Maxine Babe to the Hitmen. She was easily enticed by money, jewels and the chance to be around men like Mike Fortune and Dark Justice. In her words “big guns turn me on!”
HITMEN FOR HIRE (Krakan, Dark Justice, 3rd Planet, Grovel, Maxine Babe)
Invincible Krakan makes no apologies for his past behaviour and lives by the motto of only the strong survive. I suppose he did come through a broken neck at the hands of Draconian Sheik years ago but with so many enemies more attacks could be forthcoming. Unbelievably he also seems to be a ladies man on the quiet having enticed Maxine Babe to the team and having some kind of past relationship with Sniper. His top guy is Dark Justice who is one of the most adaptable and perhaps underrated wrestlers in history. Justice is his main line of defence against Draconian Sheik. Shame he hasn’t got the same faith in 3rd Planet. Tough Guy continues to be a liability in missing shows. Can only be a matter of time before Krakan does something about it. The guy has already had a second chance and doesn’t seem to of changed his ways. A least he has something that can go against Mutant. He made a trip to Primus and managed to lure Grovel (aka Slave) into his care. This primitive fighter is unskilled but possesses a high pain tolerance making it tough to beat. It will be facing not only Mutant but also the ‘drug addict’ Meteor. As mentioned Maxine Babe has joined the Hitmen after Brainstorm left her high and dry by retiring to become a movie star. Maxine is bitter. However maybe she now has a chance to show she’s more than just a pretty face. She also seems rather smitten with Mike Fortune and can often be found flirting with him.
OTHERS
Animen Invasion have delusions of grandeur and have made the trip to Centra. Their shock win over the new Gladiator tag team late in 2109 serving to fuel their egos … The Clones are made up of Defender and Mad Jester. Makes sense as they are actually the same man. This has infuriated Commando Sam who will send Desolation Factor to remind them of the Galactic Code. Transformer are also being ordered to punish them as Doomsayer takes offence to Mad Jester betraying him after all the efforts he’d made in the cloning process. Wonder how long it will be til the odd Transformer team dumps Doomsayer too. Cygnus Strikeforce are still managed by Mangus and going after all Earth wrestlers … Dragonmaster didn’t want his new career to be over before it really got started so he has travelled and will become very familiar to the fans as the chief play-by-play announcer … Dreadnaught is still ticking. He plans to sign lots of Hardcore matches and will be keen to sample the new Lava Pit and Ruins of Antilia matches … The Hellions remain active but are still ignored by the other Brymstonians. They will continue to feud with Feminine Fury occasionally … Massif couldn’t bear a life without wrestling so he braved the trip. He will act as a special ref still … Ninja Assassins have dumped Darkos and replaced him with Reynard B. Guile. They hope B. Guile will help them to another run as tag champs and be better at orchestrating their crafty switch routine. Speaking of B. Guile, he wants to build a new superteam. Only nobody else has agreed terms. B. Guile is also telling the people of Centra how he and Amazonia used to date. A total lie and clearly evidence that he still has a pathetic crush on her … As we all know Omega won a seat on the UFSP council and will dedicate himself back in the known dimension to getting the wrestling ban overturned … Phantast was influential in getting everyone to Centra. He has now offered his services as a manager and it is expected some wrestlers will take up the offer. However not everyone trusts his motives and wonder if he can be relied upon to help take everyone back if they try to return … Sir Ender also made the trip. He will provide comedy relief. Apparently he was so unpopular on the trip over several wrestlers banded together and locked him in a crate with airholes for several hours just to get some peace from his absurd tales of valour … The mysterious Soulwatcher continues his wrestling journey and being from Earth might find himself on the radar of Cygnus Strikeforce … Taechon is one of the strangest individuals ever to wrestle. That’s saying something. However the neutral gender thing just freaks a lot of people out. He/she will focus on the women’s division but is likely to find it difficult to find willing opponents. The other women are not keen on facing Taechon … Unfortunately no news for Talisman. His whereabouts remain unknown … Johnny Rocket is in the bad books of Theatre of Pain. They feel snubbed by him having been led on that they would be his top team. So they’ll aim to show what a mistake he made by beating Twin Blood.
CPC STATUS
Magnus Colby is determined to keep the CPC alive this year. In an incredible move he really has taken the fed underground to avoid the detections of President Cordanus. The CPC will be inactive for around half a year as part of Planet Colby is hollowed out and an arena constructed deep below the surface. After that is complete the plan is to run a reduced schedule. They cannot advertise as that would be illegal. Therefore attendances are sure to be very low. It will make a dent on even Colby’s vast resources of wealth.
EMERGENCY PRESS CONFERENCE (Gladiators)
Days before the first GWFC card an emergency press conference is called. Trisis kicks it off by enquiring why the Gladiators felt the need for this. Massacre immediately proclaims they didn’t call it. Clearly a setup. Massacre defiantly says the Gladiators are ready for what lies ahead. As seen many times Massacre pulls out a cigar and nonchalantly goes to light it. However before he can even draw on it lets out a guttural scream and collapses to the ground making choking noises before falling unconscious. Pandemonium ensues. A medic fights his way through the crowd to examine Massacre and announces “this man is dying, he’s been poisoned, get him to a hospital quickly”. What a shocking thing to happen. Can Massacre survive and how will the rest of Gladiators react?

FINAL SUMMARY
Here comes the Galactic Wrestling Federation of Centra! Or the GWFC for short. The shocking but perhaps expected ban on wrestling by President Cordanus and the UFSP arrived. So a new dawn of wrestling has been born after the trip to Centra. Can the GWF or the GWFC, as it will be known, survive? The circumstances aren’t ideal but trying to take the positives the GWF has a blank canvas to work with here. The people of Centra have little knowledge of wrestling and are slowly beginning to learn about it. The leading journalist from Centra called Trisis has undertaken the responsibility of speaking to members of the GWFC in a bid to find out more and translate to the people of this dimension the benefits of wrestling. Together with Corporal Aegis and the Ramparts of Centra (ROC) she will try to re-assure the citizens that the GWFC means well. Although naturally Corporal Aegis is extremely wary of various descendants from ‘the other dimension’. Mandrill and the Gladiators of Aethra are seen as the main threats to their way of life. Corporal Aegis has promised to show everyone they are no threat and will defeat them in hand-to-hand combat inside of the ring. Speaking of the Gladiators of Aethra. They have serious problems at the moment after the poisoning of one of Massacre’s cigars. As a result Massacre is in a very bad way and it looks likely that he will die. Who would do such a thing? Well, there are many suspects. The Gladiators of Aethra have many enemies. Even more so after the mindless Aethran attacks on random planets and systems before the move to Centra. They are the ones ultimately to blame for President Cordanus shutting down GWF wrestling and as the ‘Minister of War’ the blame lies with Massacre. So there are lots of people with good reason to do this to Massacre. Can anyone get to the bottom of this and will Massacre even survive? Top ranking detective Quidun is on the case. As for the wrestling Commisioner Morpheus in agreement with Solaris, Corporal Aegis and Trisis has agreed to carry over the current champions. He had considered starting over and resetting the rankings but felt in the end this disrespected the historic lineage of the titles. However a tournament will be commissioned for the new Centra belt that is being created. This is because the current Interplanetary champion was the Matador of M83 and he chose not to be a part of this. It was always his intention to return to Dimension X once his title run was over. The dramatic events has led to him voluntarily vacating the belt. The people of Centra are so proud a belt bears the name of their great civilisation. In some ways it’s an even bigger deal than the actual Heavtweight belt. In a statement regarding all of this Morpheus told “the GWFC will be commisioning the new Centra Championship. A tournament will be set up and the winner crowned at the first annual CENTRA PERENNIAL. Applications from anyone in the GWFC are welcome but in the event of rounding out the numbers some may be rejected. In these cases past records from the GWF will be considered. Applicants must decide whether they wish to enter this prestigous tournament as they will not be considered for title shots at the other belts in the short term. Obviously the Heavyweight belt remains the jewel in the crown and is harder to win but I believe the Centra belt can become almost as important. I look forward to meeting up with the first Centra champion later this month at the Centra Palladium. Hopefully they’ll get more respect than I did when I became the first ever GWF champion.” Interestingly Corporal Aegis, the hero of Centra, has not entered the tournament. He has proclaimed an immediate desire to try and compete for the Heavyweight championship.

THE GWFC SCHEDULE A lot of details surrounding all the scheduling are still to be finalised. However Commisioner Morpheus has done his best to release details of forthcoming fight cards. As ever all these details are subject to change. Naturally the focus during January will be heavily on the tournament to crown the first Centra champ culminating at the CENTRA PERENNIAL: #1 (1105) - Centra Belt 1st round matches #2 (1106) - Centra Belt quarter final matches #3 (1107) - Centra Belt semi final matches #4 (1108) – CENTRA PERENNIAL from the Centra Palladium In addition to what’s been scheduled in the above list there will be supercards and regular shows being broadcast throughout the year. The main weekly GWFC show will be referred to as CENTRA COMBAT but the broadcast will not just be isolated to matches held on Centra. The first screening is expected in a few days time on Centra’s TV network when the tournament gets underway. There will also be a live show which goes into more depth most months (kind of like the STARLSLAMMERS show we are more familar with). A name for this program has not been announced as yet. Both shows will more than likely be chiefly hosted by Trisis but we understand that Johnny Rocket is also lobbying for airtime. Maybe the old broadcasting battles we used to see between Johnny Rocket and Qualitar will be resurrected. Of course Dragonmaster has entered the same line of work as a play-by-play announcer so we can expect to be hearing quite a bit from him. The Centran crowds and Trisis will certainly be well behind ROC throughout all these early shows and hoping they can eventually challenge for the belts. Corporal Aegis is the most popular man on Centra at the moment and will be looking to prove that his people are superior (or can at least hold their own) to the people from the other dimension. It all makes for an interesting year ahead as the GWF tries to settle into it’s new role as the GWFC. For now let us enjoy the opening matches and also the tournament ahead.
THE FIRST ROUND TOURNAMENT DRAW The draw was made under supervision by Commisioner Morpheus, Corporal Aegis and Solaris in the centre of the ring at the Centra Palladium and screened throughout Centra. It was afterwards announced that the final match will be fought using Hardcore Titan Death rules to ensure an outright winner. Special match rules may also be applied to other matches along the way too. Double disqualification/count-out verdicts will result in both parties being eliminated. Thunder has been labelled the early favourite with Dragonmaster saying this could just be the beginning of his singles domination:
Enigma-Tortured Soul … Meteor-Mayhem … Mutant-Code Enforcer (Euritar) … Blade-Bloodline … Archon-Thunder … Buck Steele/Genocide-Blazing Skull … Prodigy-Lance At-Las … Grovel-Painmaster

Card 1105 – Ruins of Antilia: INTRO … What sort of a venue is this? I’d heard Antilia was a bit of mess but this is ridiculous. Looks like a throwback to the stone ages. Heat map shows plenty of life amid the rubble strewn landscape. In fact it looks like a town meeting has assembled only a few hundred metres from the ring. At least the makeshift arena looks better but I can’t believe wrestlers are going to be competing in Ruins of Antilia matches in future cards here. It’s certainly not what the GWF is used to. Anyhow let’s get to Trisis and Dragonmaster who are both standing by. Trisis: “Hello everyone. Welcome to the Ruins of Antilia for the first show of the new GWFC and tonight we’ve got the opening matches from the Centra tournament. Should be good.” Dragonmaster: “That’s right Trisis and we have also got an opener to kick things off between Sir Ender and the Soulwatcher.” Trisis: “Yeah. I’ve heard all about Sir Ender. Apparently he’s quite a pathetic wrestler. Except he doesn’t know it. But the Soulwatcher seems a bit quiet and moody. I tried to get an interview with him earlier and he just shrugged me off. Seemed to be mumbling under his breath strange things.” Dragonmaster: “Don’t take it personally Trisis. He’s just a deeply religious man. He’s got a good heart. Word has it that back on Earth he was some fighter but he didn’t have much success in the GWF last year.” Trisis: “Well if he can’t beat Sir Ender then maybe he should consider going back. Anyway let’s not waste time on the undercard bout. What about the great tournament matches? I can’t wait to see Genocide/Buck Steele in action.” Dragonmaster:“Is that because he is part of the Ramparts of Centra team?” Trisis: “Well yes. I’ll also be supporting Grovel. He maybe a primitive from Primus but he’s one of our dimension.” Dragonmaster: “Understandable. Wait till you see some of the other matches like Archon against Thunder and then there is Blade taking on Bloodline. Blade’s had a troubled history but he’s really come along in the last couple years. Matches like those will be real intense battles.” Trisis: “I’m looking forward to it. I’ve read up about the GWF and listened intently. However it’s all still pretty new to me. I can’t wait.” Dragonmaster: “Well let’s not wait any longer. I think Sir Ender is on his way to the ring. Oh look, who is this guy kidding?” OPENERS The Soulwatcher pinned Sir Ender. “Fear not my fair maiden. I will put this watcher of souls to the sword.” Oh it’s almost comical to watch and listen to Sir Ender. Although he nearly stunned the Soulwatcher after rolling out of the path of a deathjump. Doubt it was because of instinct. More likely huge co-incidence that he decided to roll at that precise moment. Somewhat shocked at seeing the Soulwatcher hurt Sir Ender clumsily moved in for the cover but he didn’t even think to try and hook the leg. Unsurprisingly only got a 2 count. Thank god for that, the Soulwatcher had dominated the whole match up until then and a victory for Sir Ender would only serve to further inflate his deluded ego. The Soulwatcher was not going to make the same mistake again and pulled the match back. After chopping Sir Ender down to the floor he propelled himself off the ropes and smashed down with a guillotine legdrop. Then showing a little bit more ring knowledge than his opponent made sure he hooked the leg for his cover. Although he didn’t even need to as Sir Ender was out of it. The Soulwatcher gripped his fist in a victory salute and started uttering what sounded like a prayer. Sir Ender meanwhile was flat on the canvas looking very much like a damsel in distress himself. Well maybe not a damsel but you get the picture.
Serpentine beat Supernova by DQ. The first ladies match of the GWFC and it was an interesting bout. The Centran fans were certainly surprised to see the ladies getting just as dirty as the men but us seasoned GWF fans knew exactly what to expect. Especially from Serpentine. Having seen her last year she was a brutal brawler. Bringing with her the sort of reputation come to be expected of someone from Brymstone. However she did admittedly look a little out of sorts in this one. Whilst Supernova is a fine singles wrestler and one of the most succesful ladies ever, Serpentine is a tag specialist. As expected Supernova dominated the match but couldn’t finish off her opponent. Serpentine, like the other Brymstone fighters, kept trying to take the action outside and make it hardcore. As much as Supernova tried to resist she found herself eventually becoming embroiled in a brawl. As they traded blows right in front of the fans Serpentine grabbed a chair and tried to smash Supernova with it. Instinctively Supernova raised her arms and blocked the blow. Then ripped the chair from Serpentine’s scaley hands and smashed her with it instead. Unfortunately the referee saw this and called a DQ. It was a shame because Supernova was only acting in self-defence but you could not argue with the decision. After all it is illegal to bash someone with a chair.
CENTRA TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND: Enigma beat Tortured Soul by DQ. Enigma became the first man to progress in the Centra tournament as he beat Tortured Soul. It was an intriguing battle as the death defying aerial skills of Enigma were put into stark contrast by Tortured Soul’s illegal brawling style. The match outcome very much in the balance for several minutes until Tortured Soul started getting the better of things and threatened an upset victory. Anytime Enigma looked like he might get going Tortured Soul took it outside and managed to brawl his way out of trouble. Naturally, Maleph was doing his best to divert the referee’s attention by flapping around him whilst Johnny Rocket complained bitterly about the underhand tactics. The referee at this point seemed to be a little bit lost in the match. He was missing everything that went on. Thankfully Enigma hung on in there and even survived the disgusting taste of ROTTING CLAW. Tortured Soul may be undead but displays some emotion as was clearly getting frustrated. So took the match outside again. Only this time Maleph’s attempts to conceal the evil rulebreaking of Tortured Soul failed and the referee called for the bell. Mayhem destroyed Meteor. Mayhem shrugs off a lingering minor injury from the end of last year to crush Meteor in a very one-sided first round match via LEAP OF DOOM. He then tossed Meteor back into the ring like a rag doll and pinned him without hardly having broken sweat. It means that Mayhem will face Enigma in the quarter final phase of the Centra tournament. Mayhem mindful of this grabbed the microphone from the announcer to challenge Enigma to a grudge match and apparently, although unconfirmed, Enigma is more than happy to oblige. The match might not have time to happen before the next round unless it become part of a dark show. There are a couple planned for later this week. Code Enforcer Euritar eliminated Mutant. Another one-sided match. Saw Euritar make the Mutant submit after applying his HEADS WILL ROLL finish but not before one of the grossest things you’ll see. A boil on Mutant’s head literally burst during some close up action and sprays puss all over the place. Fair play to Euritar he stays professional and carries on regardless. It sets up a possible encounter with either Blade or Bloodline. I’m sure Euritar would love to get his hands on that turncoat Bloodline. As for Mutant it has already caused disgust among the curious Centra fans with the boil incident. It incites further disgust when a group of fans enter a rest room later on in the evening and find Mutant in there unsupervised and drinking from the toilet. Takes a call to security to deal with Mutant and they just about get a chain around its neck. Blade takes a scintillating win over Bloodline. What an incredible match. No shortage of incident as two of the favourites to win the Centra title locked up. Bloodline probably fought the best match of his short career. Trouble was so did Blade. Several times Blade found himself in the CETUS MASTERLOCK and each time he managed to wriggle free or get to the ropes. Worse still for him was a stint in MASTERLOCK outside of the ring as Thantos pounced whilst Bloodline choreographed a routine to distract the ref. These Centran officials will have to learn about such sneaky tricks. With the damage done Bloodline pitched Blade in the ring and attempted to finish the match with BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG. Whallop! He could not of connected better. Blade wasn’t going to get out the way of that. Bloodline covered his stricken opponent only for Blade’s mother Lorelei, sickened by the travesty of justice that had just happened, to jump up on the ring apron. She began yelling out concerned for her son. Bloodline perhaps showing some inexperience immediately got up and began to taunt her. Thantos tried to divert Bloodline’s attentions back to finishing the match. However it was too late because as everyone was bickering no-one noticed Blade slowly, with the help of the ropes, get back to his feet. Seeing Bloodline with his back turned and his mind on other things he attacked. A vicious switchblade kick to the back of the head. Lorelei seeing her son was now back up jumped down from the apron. Thantos also jumped down with her and accused her of cheating. It meant he didn’t see Blade signal to the crowd and mount the turnbuckle to deliver BLADE OF RETRIBUTION. When he realised what had happened Thantos tried to dart into the ring but got there too late. The crowd went crazy as Blade had booked his place in the quarter final against the Code Enforcer Euritar. Judging by the reception he is certainly a favourite among the Centrans. Thunder gets past Archon impressively. Archon hoped to join Blade in the quarter finals. Maybe the manner of Blade’s victory was playing on his mind though as despite an early barrage of blows where he had Thunder reeling he was convincingly defeated after being hit with THE TEMPEST. He will need to be on much better form if he wants to survive his feud with the Brymstonians this year. Thunder’s win completed a good night for the Gladiators of Aethra in which both of their Centra belt representatives progressed. Thunder now faces the prospect of a match against Genocide/Buck Steele or Blazing Skull in the next round. He looks a huge prospect for success now he has gotten his long anticipated singles run. If he’s just half as successful as he was when tag teaming then a legendary run lies ahead. Blazing Skull managed to beat Buck Steele/Genocide by DQ. Buck Steele may of started out but he transformed into Genocide early in the match. Despite this Blazing Skull clung on and managed to kick out of CORPUS GENOCIDE. A combination of sicko tactics and clever wrestling was keeping him in it. Later in the match Genocide rammed Blazing Skull into an outside ringpost having followed him out. The referee tried to warn Genocide about doing that but got shoved out of the way. Instantly the referee disqualified Genocide. Once again Genocide had got the better of Buck Steele and it has caused him to tumble out of the tournament. It means Blazing Skull goes through to take on Thunder. Lance At-Las won a very entertaining match over Prodigy. The best efforts of Prodigy to use his brand of cheapshooting and scientific tactics failed to cut Lance At-Las down to size. Lance bides his time and ultimately gets Prodigy with MARTIAN MANHANDLER. It meant that another member of Team CPC has flunked out to complete a very bad night for Thantos. Lance At-Las was jubilant and told in a locker room interview “that win felt almost as good as watching a Martian sunset. I’ve got a good feeling that I can go all the way to becoming the first Centra champion”. Painmaster overcame Grovel with ease. Painmaster puts Grovel in THE TORTURE RACK. Was the first look at Grovel. Not the most photogenic of things. The primitive brute from Primus was no match for a seasoned wrestler like Painmaster. It means that Painmaster will face Lance At-Las in the next round. A match where sparks may fly because although Lance At-Las is directly involved in a feud with the Gladiators of Aethra there is a deepening rivalry between the FDF and the Colonizers. For Grovel a feud with Mutant looks like a good booking move. Will bring memories of the classic Mutant-Creeper feud. CLOSING … Well there you go the matches are now over and the Centran crowd have certainly been thrilled by what went on. Quite a few of them are clamouring around waiting to catch a glimpse of the wrestlers as they leave the makeshift arena. Hope they don’t miss their transport ships. Let’s get back over to Trisis and Dragonmaster to see what they made of it all. Trisis: “So that’s it. The first card from the GWFC and the opening round of the Centra tournament has been completed. Great night of entertainment wouldn’t you say Dragonmaster?” Dragonmaster: “Well what did I say. That’s what wrestling’s all about.” Trisis: “Yeah. I was just disappointed that Genocide/Buck Steele and Grovel lost tonight. I mean Genocide didn’t deserve to lose, that Blazing Skull is a sick and ugly character.” Dragonmaster: “Indeed he is. That’s the trouble though. When he's Genocide he finds it very difficult to abide by the rules. Although a devastating fighter he often gets too out of control and is disqualified.” Trisis: “Guess me and the Corporal will have to work on him a bit. With Genocide out I now hope Blade wins the Centra belt. I was very impressed with him. To take such a beating from Bloodline and still come back to win takes incredible guts.” Dragonmaster: “He has really improved of late and his performance against Bloodline didn’t surprise me. I’m very glad you and the Centran crowd liked what you saw. Looks like the first GWFC broadcast has been a big success.” Trisis: “Yes it’s been great but one last thing I want to know is when are we going to see some of those Ruins of Antilia matches Commissioner Morpheus has promised? They sound fascinating.” Dragonmaster: “Hopefully next time we come back to Antilia. They are a novel idea from the Commissioner as are the Lava Pit matches that will take place on Primus. I believe there’s one of those scheduled for the next card.” Trisis: “Well I can’t wait for that and of course the SWAT Team are in action in Primus too. Guess we better wrap things up now Dragonmaster.” Dragonmaster: “Okay. See you everyone.”

*** BETWEEN THE ROPES ***
Archon has had a bust up with Lorelei. It has been leaked that after his match with Thunder had finished Archon sought her out. Some heated words were exchanged and many fellow wrestlers heard everything. Apparently Archon is unhappy with Lorelei’s actions during her son’s match with Bloodline. He believes Lorelei’s interference was intentional despite her protestations that she was just trying to see if her son was okay. Naturally Lorelei has tried to hush the incident. Roving reporter Trisis has tried to book Archon and Lorelei on her showcase talk show but they declined. Lorelei says there are no problems so it would be pointless to go on the show but most of the crowd know better. Archon has grown increasingly wary of his fellow members in recent years. He is an honourable but very stubborn man and he won’t tolerate any rulebreaking. As noble as he is it could end up driving him away. It is a very tense time for the Centaurians. Archon and Lorelei no doubt believe what they did was right. Question is, which one of them was right? You can see it from both points of view. Lorelei did without question help Blade win the match. However Bloodline had also benefitted from Thantos interfering too and if Lorelei hadn’t intervened then Blade could of taken a serious beating. As far as she’s concerned she acted in the best interests of her son and will still be very mindful of what happened to her eldest son Crossfire almost a decade ago. Whilst Archon has his principles. The game is supposed to be played fairly. He will feel his criticism is totally justified. This may not be the end of the matter. Some pre-matches have been added to the first card from the Centra Palladium that is incoming. As well as the tournament matches we will see Blade meeting Bloodline again (assuming Blade isn’t in a tournament match). There could be several other bouts added before then as Commissioner Morpheus aims to make it something of a spectacle ahead of the big CENTRA PERENNIAL event. Corporal Aegis is expected to be in action that night too and he wants to turn his match against the Draconian Sheik into a special match. Rumours are circulating that it could be a King of the Ring match. Although we will have to wait and see. Before then we are in Primus for the next round and also the following pre-matches, mostly tag, are confirmed as ... Titan Attack-Lethal Lottery; Rebel Empire-Theatre of Pain; Third Planet-Cygnus Strikeforce; SWAT Team-Disorder X; Desolation Factor-Animen Invasion; Lava Pit match, Spike-Blazing Skull (Matches subject to being changed)

Card 1106 – Lava Pits of Primus: INTRO … Well, not much of an improvement over Antilia. Only here it seems to be full of pits and craters. There are huge volcanoes in the background with many smaller ones. Some barely a few feet high. Occasionally these mini-volcanoes spew lava. Oh and the place is teeming with life. Just what are all those things floating about? They certainly look like a load of primitive brutes. Guess everyone will get used to it eventually. We’ll probably see them again later on as there will be Lava Pit match on the card. For now now let’s join Dragonmaster in the broadcasters booth. Dragonmaster: “Here we are. The second GWFC card and this time we are at the Lava Pits of Primus. Not much to look at but it’s gonna be an exciting card nonetheless. Especially with the first look at the SWAT Team. Exciting stuff Massif?” Massif: “Yep. I can’t wait for it. I’m sure the Centrans will be very interested to see how their very own kind of people fare. Who is it they are up against?” Dragonmaster: “I can see you’re not used to being a broadcaster Massif. For your information it’s Disorder X.” Massif: “Ah. Well that is going to be tough. I don’t like Disorder X and I certainly don’t like their manager Thantos but admittedly they are a good team.” Dragonmaster: “Yes. Both Mace and Grunge have been tag specialists all their career. But we know just how unpredictable Mace can be these days and they aren’t exactly best chums. It could be that we see some strange turn of events that’ll affect the bout.” Massif: “It wouldn’t be wrestling if we didn’t.” Dragonmaster: “I have to agree. Anything can happen in wrestling matches these days. Now let’s discuss some of the other matches. There’s a heavy tag emphasis. The battle between Third Planet and the Cygnus Strikeforce is another of them. There’s a lot of bad blood there due to links with the Earth-Cygnus war. Wonder if Tough Guy will even show up. He’s been rather too fond of discovering the Centran nightlife since everyone arrived here. Then of course the much awaited first Lava Pit bout.” Massif: “You’re right about being much awaited. I don’t know what’s going to happen in that one. Just getting out is going be difficult and with all those primitives around hurling rocks. It could be pretty dangerous.” Dragonmaster: “Spike and Blazing Skull never worry about anything dangerous.” Massif: “Right again.” Dragonmaster: “Plus we’ve got the next round of the Centra belt tournament but we’ve not a chance to preview them as it’s time for the matches to commence.” OPENERS: Rebel Empire crush Theatre of Pain. With Painmaster succesfully getting into the quarter finals of the Centra tournament in Antilia yesterday Mandrill wanted to further show the people of Centra what the Colonizers were all about. After this match I am sure everyone will be taking notice because Rebel Empire blasted the Theatre of Pain with ease after Tragedy took THE BIG FALL from Vendetta. Afterwards Mandrill was interviewed and continued his threatening trash talk claiming that we had seen the first signs that the Colonizers were about take over Centra. This no doubt infuriated the SWAT Team who were in attendance and they apparently clashed bitterly with Nefarus and Vendetta ahead of their own match. Almost certainly the two teams will be squaring off against eachother at CENTRA PERENNIAL. The feud between the Colonizers and the Ramparts of Centra is bubbling over already and could be set to dominate the earliest months of the GWFC. Spike defeated Blazing Skull in a Lava Pit match. Many people were surprised at Spike’s non-inclusion in the Centra tournament but apparently he has been requested to play a kind of hitman role for the Gladiators. Therefore he will be attempting to sign matches against future tournament opponents to ‘soften’ them up for his Aethran colleagues. How long will the elder statesman of the Gladiators put up with such a role? For now Spike is keeping very quiet and is getting on with the job. The first victim would be Blazing Skull in a Lava Pit match. The very first match of its kind and what a crazy match it was as these two tested the waters. The nature of the pit match meant neither man could stay in control for very long. Especially with the primitives chucking rocks at them from time to time. Spike proved despite his age he is still a great competitor who loves special matches. The turning point coming when Blazing Skull had the upper hand and tried to escape the pit. He struggled up the sides of the pit but as he reached the top a couple of primitives threw him back into the pit. Blazing Skull landed on the hot lava ashes. Spike recovered and pounced on Blazing Skull. Pulling him up he hurled him into the pit wall and then slammed him with MEGADESTROYER. Blazing Skull wasn’t getting up from that and Spike carefully scaled the pit wall well away from where a group of primitives were lurking and escaped. The lava pit concept was certainly interesting and something we’ll see much more of on the trips to Primus. Disorder X beat the SWAT Team. Naturally the fans went absolutely mad as the SWAT Team made their way out to the ring area. Could their beloved heroes do Centra proud? They didn’t know an awful lot about Disorder X or many of the other tag teams for that matter but surely Corporal Aegis wasn’t lying about the prospects of the Ramparts of Centra, was he? Unfortunately what the Centrans also didn’t know was what a cheapshooting pair Mace and Grunge are. Whilst the SWAT Team tried to wrestle Disorder X bent the rules at every opportunity. The Total Disorder double team move being a case example. Everyone hoped Warfare would duck out of the way when he was set up for the move and Mace would get blasted in the face from his team-mate but Disorder X had spent a long time working over him. They had cut the ring off and Warfare had not been able to tag out for some time. He had nothing left to give and couldn’t break free of Mace’s powerful grip. He was hit full on and pinned. The crowd hissed loudly at what they felt was a travesty of justice. Sadly the SWAT Team were beaten. All part of the steep learning curve. They really do need to toughen up if they want to have any success as wrestlers. Cygnus Strikeforce overcame 3rd Planet. In an intense match up Cygnus Strikeforce managed to overcome 3rd Planet after putting their finisher on Tough Guy. It had been a gruelling match up and things threatened to spill out of control on numerous occasions. The bad blood between Cygnus and Earth made sure of that. Eventually US. Traitor and Maelstrom came out on top. To make things worse Mangus wanted to further humiliate 3rd Planet by branding Tough Guy with the flag of Cygnus after the match was over. However again it went horribly wrong as Mike Fortune managed to distract Maelstrom who was holding Tough Guy. This allowed Tough Guy to duck out of the way and Maelstrom was branded instead. Then to the delight of the crowd Tough Guy gets charged up and slammed Mangus and a stunned Maelstrom into the mat to claim a symbolic victory for his team. However despite the symbolic win Krakan was apparently none too impressed with the performance of his team and is blaming Tough Guy for the loss. There are rumours flying about that Tough Guy’s days are numbered as part of the Hitmen. He has signed to take on Maelstrom one-on-one at CENTRA PERENNIAL later this month. He will definitely be hoping for better things there. The last thing he needs is to lose the match and get branded by Mangus. Trouble is after what happened tonight Maelstrom will be going all out to get revenge and mark Tough Guy. Desolation Factor stumble to victory over Animen Invasion. Nobody expected the Animen Invasion team to stand a chance against the headbanging team of Desolation Factor but then again nobody expected them to beat Malice and Overkill late last year. To the surprise of everyone watching they very nearly pulled off an amazing upset again. They dominated the early exchanges and nearly pinned both Rack and Ruin several times. Clearly the big men were having a big off day. They were out of sync completely. They couldn’t get any momentum and at one point botched a sandwich splash and knocked each other over. However perhaps this was a mark of a great team. To fight badly and still win the match because eventually Rack and Ruin got their act together. They turned it round and began to work over Son of Ram. Together they blasted him with a crushing double clothesline. Ruin then picked him up and placed him in the centre of the ring before taking his place back in the corner. Son of Ram stood their wobbling as Rack, using the ropes for maximum momentum, blasted him with a flying shoulderblock to score the pin. Desolation Factor were clearly as surprised as anyone at how much of a struggle the match had been. Rack was determined to put the record straight and has challenged the Animen to a rematch. This time promising to finish the job in under 5 minutes. The Animen have obliged them to a match in a few cards time and Rack will even face Antak in a singles match too. I don’t think the Animen will be so lucky the next time they meet. Titan Attack get the better of Lethal Lottery. We were treated to yet another super match as the high flying Titan Attack team took on the brawling style of Lethal Lottery. At times Lethal Lottery held the upper hand using power and brawling. Other times Titan Attack used their superior ring skills and aerial tactics to counter act their power disadvantage, especially against Splatter. It made for a gripping match that lasted over 15 minutes. As the match went on Titan Attack seemed to be taking more and more risks. Death defying leaps off the turnbuckles to wear both Splatter and Vyper down. So it was fitting that a spectacular high risk move would bring such an exciting match to its conclusion. Scion Nexus had managed to hurt Splatter and seizing the opportunity mounted the top turnbuckle. There he waited ready to pounce. Splatter got to his feet barely aware of his surroundings. He wobbled around with his back to Scion Nexus. The moment he turned round Scion Nexus flew at him with a stunning flying cross body. Such an amazing move was even enough to take a big guy like Splatter right off his feet. The referee slid in for the count and despite a brief struggle from Splatter he was too winded to kick out properly. CENTRA TOURNAMENT ROUND 2 Enigma progresses past Mayhem by DQ. Dramatic match in which Enigma prevails to keep Johnny Rocket’s dream of holding all the major men’s belts. Not without some cost though. The match suddenly sprung to life as Mayhem got control. He seeks to go for LEAP OF DOOM. Enigma gets out the way by virtue of his incredible agility. Not wanting to miss this great opportunity Enigma quickly goes for ENIGMA SUICIDA. It’s not without its risks too but Mayhem is still wounded and so Enigma easily hits his mark. Brute wasn’t about to let Mayhem take a clean loss and storms the ring. Smashing Enigma with the Aethran Casque and drawing an instant DQ. Things threaten to turn very nasty as Mayhem recovers and Spike is seen on the runway. Signs of a hideous attack possibly about to take place. Was this the Gladiators way of blowing off steam over what has happened to Massacre? Suddenly there are gasps from the crowd as the two Code Enforcers rush up behind Spike and take him down. This distracts Mayhem and Brute and they go to join the brawl which quickly disappears through the curtain and out of sight. Mercifully Enigma is spared. The blow from the casque took a toll though. Johnny Rocket later says he is expects the injury to be affecting him for the next round at least (1 card).
Blade marches into the semis by beating Code Enforcer Euritar by DQ. In the wake of Archon’s rantings Lorelei says she will stay away from ringside if her opposite number Commando Sam does the same. Sam will not agree as he is concerned about sneak attacks. Especially as Euritar has just been involved in a kerfuffle with the Gladiators. Fortunately he doesn’t seem worse for wear. So instead Sam says “we should both be there for our wrestlers but I won’t interfere if you don’t”. True to those words both stay hands off. However it still ended in a DQ. Even when heroes face each other tempers can flare. A seesaw battle suddenly got heated as Blade embarrasses Euritar by dodging his turnbuckle charge. Euritar went spectacularly right over the top and down to the outside. Euritar nursed his pain and then rather than return to the ring he beckoned Blade out and waited for him. Sam shouts “what you doing, get back in and fight”. It’s too late though Euritar had already grabbed Blade as he came jumped over the ropes and down to where he was. Blade was then face planted straight into the nearest hard object which happened to be a ring post. Some of the crowd cheered the move whilst some heckled. The ref decided this was no way for a so called hero to act and called the DQ. Euritar is still young and maybe inexperience had shown. He obviously felt sorry for his actions as he congratulated Blade and later said sorry to Sam for letting him down. All part of the learning process I suppose.
Thunder beats Blazing Skull in an action packed match. A lethal cocktail putting a Gladiator up against a Brymstonian. Especially at the moment. It’s clear the Gladiators are even more dangerous than normal with volatile situation surrounding Massacre’s poisoning. Maleph doesn’t help. He’s trying to spread disorder by flapping around Brute and laughing in his face. Brute tries and fails to bring down the winged beast. The two combatants don’t let this sideshow distract them. Tearing into one another and executing high impact moves virtually the whole way through. Blazing Skull was first to strike with a finisher as DEATH BY FIRE almost wins it. Maleph distracted perfectly to allow it to happen. Thunder then rallies back and twice sees his attempt to win via finisher fail. The pendulum swung again as Blazing Skull causes Thunder excruciating pain with BURNING TOUCH. It seems that nothing will finish either off. Brute then pipes up and shouts at Thunder “this is not good enough. Aethrans are a superior race and you are not doing as expected”. Thunder responds to this immediately with a big offensive wave and for the third time delivers THE TEMPEST. Blazing had taken lots of punishment already and could take no more. He becomes unresponsive and Thunder progresses into the next round. He then kicks Blazing out the ring to show that nobody is worthy to share the same ring as the Gladiators.
Lance At-Las takes a licking but still beats Painmaster by DQ. Lance is filled with confidence. His upset defeat of Prodigy has given him hope he could be the first Centra champion. His great mate, Meteor, is in the front row of the crowd cheering the loudest. A great show of friendship and if Sentry tries anything am sure Meteor won’t be shy about vaulting the barrier to help. However that concern is soon taken away as for reasons unknown Sentry is not present with Painmaster. Although he could be hidden away somewhere as that’s happened before. Of course that doesn’t put Commando Sam off. He is determined that the FDF kicks off his campaign with a major belt. Lance representing his only hope at the moment now Code Enforcer Euritar is out. Enforcing the Galactic Code is important but Sam knows a team is also judged on its belt success. Unfortunately Lance struggles. Painmaster is really on it. Having had decent success in the past with the previous equivalent Interplanetary belt Painmaster is determined to grab this one. He dominates from start to finish only to fall foul of over exuberance when he pursued Lance out of the ring. Some of the refs are from Dimension K but there are several Centra refs who have been fast tracked into official positions and they aren’t shy about calling a DQ. This one no exception as he punishes Painmaster for a bodyslam on the floor. Perhaps a little harsh. Lance raises a weak fist into the air as he is announced winner. He knows he’s been a bit lucky. CLOSING … Curtain falls on another great show. So far the GWFC is a big success but it is early days. Dragonmaster: “That flew by. What a show.” Massif: “Cannot disagree but I’m worried after tonight. I think the Gladiators are going to cause some huge problems on Centra.” Dragonmaster: “Even before what happened to Massacre they were always going to be dangerous. It’s worse now.” Massif: “Enigma got off lightly. Next time someone might not be so lucky.” Dragonmaster: “How about we focus on some of the other stuff? Blade did the business again. I think the Centra belt has got his name on it” Massif: “I wouldn’t be so sure. As much as I’d love him to win the tournament the most impressive guy is Thunder” Dragonmaster: “Actually I do have a soft spot for Lance At-Las. My heart says Lance but my head says Thunder will have too much for him” Massif: “Lance is a great guy and it’s been a real Cinderella story for him. However he won’t last long against Thunder. Only hope is that the Gladiators lose their cool in the same way both Mayhem and Painmaster did tonight” Dragonmaster: “There is so much to talk about but we haven’t got much time. That will be covered in tonight’s ROLL UP show. I suppose just a quick mention about the SWAT team. They’ve very quickly learned how tough it is going to be in the GWFC”. Massif: “Massive shame. They’ll learn from that”. Dragonmaster: “Am sure they will. For now Massif and I are signing off. Hope you enjoyed it folks”.

Card 1107 – Centra Palladium:
TRISIS SHOWCASE featuring the SWAT Team … This new talk show is designed to try and educate the people of Centra about the wrestlers. Of course it can also provide a platform for some crazy goings on such as sneak attacks. Luckily for a first show there are no hitches. The SWAT Team gets a huge pop. They give their rivals Rebel Empire a proper verbal dressing down. Even going so far as to call them out although they don’t get the satisfaction. The two teams are set to meet for the first time at CENTRA PERENNIAL next week. No holding back on this feud as it’s straight inside a cage. Trisis is loving it.
OPENERS:
Grovel over Mutant by DQ. The new and even wilder Mutant is let loose on Grovel. No prizes for guessing whose side the Centra fans were on. Doesn’t last long. Grovel makes some instinctive moves and ends up tossing Mutant outside where it set upon the officials huddled round the announcer’s table causing them all to take evasive action. Suffice to say Mutant was disqualified for this. It then went on to disgust the residents of Centra by later being found rustling through garbage cans inside the Palladium. Clearly the Terrorists have no interest in controlling it.
Genocide defeats Tortured Soul by DQ. For her own safety Trisis dodges being at ringside for this one and focuses on preparing for her first Showcase. The crowd is delighted to see Genocide coming out. That will be the norm from now on. Tortured Soul actually got a bit of offence in. Nothing worrying though and once Genocide got going he destroyed Tortured Soul. So much so that the undead warrior was going out of the ring more and more. Showing small signs of intelligence. Although the action of picking up a table and swinging it at Genocide wasn’t too smart and led to his DQ. Genocide simply smashed it in half with his fists and then to huge cheers slammed Tortured Soul hard on the floor before running off in a hyped up frenzy. Good outcome but DQ outcomes racking up in the GWFC so far.
Serpentine beats Supernova again by DQ. Bad blood lingering leads to this rematch. This time it’s trickier for Supernova as Hunger is skulking around. Protestations from Supernova in vein as ref allows her to stay put. Supernova then just decides to go for it and unbelievably cops another DQ as she ended up engaging Hunger. Unnecessarily the ref felt. Triggered a two-on-one brawl which Supernova ends up winning as floors both Hellions at the same time with a spinning kick. The crowd cannot believe females wrestle with such fire and passion. They find it inspiring. The disappointment of losing is soon forgotten by Supernova as her name gets chanted spontaneously.
Code Enforcer Manslaughter beats Painmaster in a one-sided battering. Painmaster feels threatened by Wraith and flat out refused to team with him here. Initially this was to be a tag match against both Code Enforcers. Mandrill quietly agreed for Painmaster to wrestle solo. Their opponents weren’t happy but no way the Code Enforcers were going to pass up the chance to wrestle in the first card from the Centra Palladium and against Colonizer to boot. They flipped a coin and Manslaughter got the honour. No way that’s the end of it though. Painmaster will surely pay for such insolence at some point in the future. It was already kind of in evidence for the match as Mandrill stops Sentry from accompanying Painmaster. Commando Sam was relaxed when he realised this. He spends most of the match duration not watching. Instead interacting with fans and drumming up support. Whilst he did that Manslaughter slowly dismantled Painmaster. Building up the tokens before the big finish of HEADS WILL ROLL. Painmaster had offered very little and looked lost out there. Almost felt sorry for him.
The Clones defeated Malice and Overkill by DQ. Any team signing a match willingly against the Gladiators given recent events must need their heads examined. Of course we know the Clones are not playing with a full deck. The Gladiators largely dominate. However they are guilty of playing with the Clones too much and not going for the kill. Suddenly goes horribly wrong as Defender of the Realm surprises Overkill with a reversal after he was thrown at the turnbuckle. Whether Overkill would have been pinned we’ll never know as Brute entered the ring immediately. He grabs Defender from behind and delivers a Gladiator Piledriver to bring a premature end. The Gladiators are jeered heavily in the post match and angrily stomped away. The Clones were spared further punishment. Probably seen as being far too low down on the food chain for Aethrans to waste energy on.
Sniper crushed Maxine Babe in a non-title match. Maxine as ever dressing risqué. She is strutting her stuff and leaving the male fans with their tongues hanging out. Don’t matter what dimension she’s in, sexiness sells and she’s got bundles of it. The chief protagonist of this new rivalry Krakan is inconveniently missing from ringside. Shame because that might of added fireworks. Anyway Sniper kept up the good form she showed last year in the GWF that had propelled her to belt glory. Has Maxine beat in a mere 3 moves after a belly to belly suplex. Big question is will the GWFC continue to support a ladies title? We are expecting Commissioner Morpheus to make an announcement on this soon.
Transformer shocked Twin Blood in a non-title match. The Centra crowds are keen to see some belts being put on the line. They must wait a little longer as the tag champs, Twin Blood, face Transformer here in non-title action. Millennium were the top contenders as at end of 2109 but Colussus is back in the CPC and Heracles returned to Ancient Greece. It could that we see some title matches in addition to the Central belt final at CENTRA PERENNIAL but this is still up in the air even as late as this. If they are to be defended then Transformer will be expecting to be right among the teams considered as they pull off a shocking victory here. Twin Blood just aren’t at the races. Sleeze is lucky not to lose as he is put in SURFBOARD SUBMISSION and nailed with TWO HEADS ARE BETTER early in the match. Dreggs picks up the baton and fails to fare much better. After a decent back and forth with Monad he was also seeing stars after TWO HEADS ARE BETTER. It didn’t finish him but he was right on the edge after that. When Monad clobbered him with a running lariat soon after Dreggs didn’t have anything left. Johnny Rocket had by this time exhausted every interfering possibility. Nth Degree got the pin. Fast thinking Johnny made sure to grab the belts in case Transformer tried to take them. However he will be worried about the level of performance from Twin Blood. He is latter full of excuses and said they were still suffering jet lag from the dimension jump.
Corporal Aegis raises the roof as he beats Draconian Sheik in a Scorpi King of the Ring match. Loudest cheer of the night is reserved for Aegis. He is the local hero. A real baptism of fire taking on a special match straight away against the wild Draconian Sheik. He confidently salutes the fans coming down the runway. Surely nothing was going to spoil this big debut. Only nobody told Drac. He tears into Aegis and puts 3 tokens on the board in no time at all. His sharp object comes into play and DRACONIAN BACKBREAKER really tests the pain threshold of Aegis. Worried fans start to go silent. Maybe their own kind aren’t really cut out for this wrestling lark. Then slowly but surely Aegis begins an epic fight back. He doesn’t accumulate another token. In a punishing few minutes he unleashes Opening Salvo followed by CORPORAL PUNISHMENT an astonishing 4 times. All he needs is just to oust Drac from the ring to win. Only his wrestling style was making this harder than it seemed. Thankfully a lethal jump kick floored Drac again and he rolled out voluntarily. Maybe Drac’s lack of intelligence was to blame or was just too groggy. Either way it had given Aegis a popular win and proved what a competent wrestler he can be. Mandrill will be sure to of noticed and deep down now realising ROC may not be easy to conquer.
CENTRA TOURNAMENT ROUND 3:
Enigma ended the valiant tournament run of Blade. With the Centra belt within touching distance of his team Johnny Rocket says he will do what it takes to ‘help’ the injured Enigma along. Of course he’s not your normal heroic manager so it’s no surprise to hear that even though both wrestlers are classified as heroes. Earlier in the day Trisis had snatched a cheeky interview with Lorelei to ask if she will get involved if things aren’t going well. Lorelei said “Archon had asked her to do the right thing which I respect. However I will always protect my son”. With all this talk it was more soap opera outside the ring than in it. Fortunately when the match happens both guys wrestle a good spirited match and give their respective ringside companions no reason or ammunition with which to interfere. It was a case of may the best man win and on this occasion it was Enigma. He took advantage of Blade missing BLADE OF RETRIBUTION to start a period of domination. After further weakening Blade with Feet of Fury a couple of times Enigma went for the big finish. The crowds was in awe as he went for ENIGMA SUICIDA and succeeded. Poor Blade was done for after that and Enigma makes the big championship match. Lorelei gave a grudging clap and tended to her son. She’s got to try and now get his confidence back up for a huge meeting with Bloodline at CENTRA PERENNIAL in a Circinus Cell match next. The booking of it had hinged on the outcome of this in case Blade made the final. Enigma will go into that instead and in good shape as it looks like he’s shaken off that injury inflicted by the Gladiators. Ironically it could very well be another Gladiator to face with Thunder strongly fancied in the other semi.
Thunder wins a tough battle with Lance At-Las. Thunder cannot believe his luck at such an easy match to make the final where Enigma awaits. He’d perhaps do well not to underestimate Lance. Tensions are high outside the ring between Commando Sam and Brute. Sam is warning Brute he better not try anything. He gets ignored which just riles Sam all the more. Annoyed by all the bluster outside the ring the ref warns Sam to calm down or all manages will be ejected. Thunder takes advantage of the ref’s scolding over the top rope to try and take Lance unawares. Exploding with his high intensity offence. However Lance was ready for him and fights back hard. Wrestling some of his best stuff since he returned to the GWF. Has Thunder incredibly worried after going for MARS MANHANDLER. Brute decides not to interfere with the fear of a DQ outcome and trusts Thunder to come back. A decision vindicated as Thunder does indeed recover. Lance is going down easily though and even kicked out after THE TEMPEST. Trouble is the intensity of Thunder’s attacks never relent. After about ten minutes Thunder took him out with a diving choke slam. That was the final death knell and Lance is beaten. When Lance recovers sufficiently a few minutes after the end end enough to leave the crowd applaud his efforts. They knew he was the huge underdog and had given an almighty effort.

CENTRA PERENNIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We had to wait on a few outcomes on the last show til the main event was confirmed. The big championship match between Enigma and Thunder for the Centra belt with Hardcore Titan Death rules added. The match type might fancy Thunder more than Enigma. The other huge match that can now happen is the grudge match pitting Blade against Bloodline in the ultra dangerous Circinus Cell match. The people of Centra are buzzing for these two matches and cannot wait. Amazingly no title matches have been booked other than the conclusion of the Centra belt tournament. Commissioner Morpheus decided to do it this way to give wrestlers a chance to prove themselves in the opening month before the new top contenders are decided upon. Of course previous GWF rankings will still play a huge factor. Also there’s so much excitement and lots for the new audience to take in as it is. It has allowed the crowning of the first Centra champ to take centre stage. Anyway with that in mind the rest of the bill is confirmed. A few big names are either overlooked or just sitting it out as they try to acclimatise in this new dimension. Pegasus for example told Commando Sam he wouldn’t be doing anything which didn’t exactly endear him. Plus nobody was too keen to face any of the Gladiators. At least not yet. Here’s the list … Mandrill-Max Shield in a Scorpi King of the Ring match … SWAT Team-Rebel Empire in a Cosmic Cage match … Paragon and Skinhead-Terminus and Prodigy in a mystery special match … Wolf-Anarchy in a Falls Count Anywhere match … Corporal Aegis-Mayhem … Rising Sun-Dark Justice … Ninja Assassins-Titan Attack … Maelstrom-Tough Guy … Rack-Antak … Meteor-Mike Fortune
