CARD 1108 – CENTRA PERENNIAL – CENTRA PALLADIUM:
Centra Palladium is a sell out and buy rates for the event are rumoured to be in the millions. Huge success story and the quality of matches didn’t disappoint either. Full story below. As I mostly do, for some unknown reason, the main event and higher profile matches are storied first.
CENTRA TOURNAMENT FINAL:
Enigma dazzles to beat Thunder in a Hardcore Titan Death match to become the first Centra champion. The month long tournament boils down to this. The first Centra champion to be crowned. The beautiful looking belt is paraded around the ring by a beautiful women so that many of the crowd can get a good look at it. It glistens as it goes round the perimeter before being carefully placed on the ring announcer’s table. Thunder is announced first. He strides out alone. Restrictions still in place for anyone being at ringside in this wilder version of a Titan Death match. He pays no interest in the belt. Not even giving it a glance. Instead choosing to enter the ring and wildly shake the ropes. Clearly carrying lots of pent up energy. When Enigma was finally announced he never stood a chance of making an entrance. Thunder was on him immediately. It was a difficult first few minutes for Enigma as he is bombarded and even struck with a chair. Just a case of hanging on which he does. Slowly Thunder’s threat starts to fade as he loses energy and Enigma finds himself getting more and more control. Twice delivering his risky finisher only for Thunder to manage miraculous kick outs. The real crucial point came as the action spilled outside for the umpteenth time and almost like a Falls Count Anywhere match they find themselves battling outside the arena. Enigma spots a parked Light Speed Space Roamer. He smashes Thunder hard into the expensive LS vehicle leaving a big dent. Having done this he sets about the long process of dragging the bloodied Thunder back inside and all the way to the ring. Probably could have pinned him but Enigma wants to be sure and for a third time thrills the crowd with ENIGMA SUICIDA. Johnny Rocket was said to be jumping up and down in jubilation backstage. It may not last long but the Rocketmen hold all the major belts. The only one they don’t have is the women’s belt and he doesn’t really care about that. It may not even continue here on Centra. Enigma is afforded a big moment in the ring. Corporal Aegis is called upon to hand the belt over. Then the Palladium darkens and a spotlight falls on Enigma. Finally synthetic fireworks blast out in the background. What a closing segment!
OTHER MATCHES:
Bloodline gets revenge against Blade in a Circinus Cell match. This ultra dangerous match seen for the first time back in the old GWF makes its return and is set to become a staple of Centra action. Fair play to the guys involved as injury is almost guaranteed for the loser. Bloodline wants revenge for Blade beating him in the tournament and warns “I won’t just be putting you through the top, I’ll put you through the floor too”. He was certainly backing up that talk with the way he went about business. Straight into Blade and trying to use the cell walls to his advantage. They did end on the top of the cage at one point. Only to soon return to the inside with not too much excitement happening. Bloodline felt after a few minutes it was time for the big finish and claim a dominating victory. He goes for and connects with BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG (+4). The ref who had been performing wonders to try and keep out the way of the action slides in for the pin count fully expecting to then be signalling for the bell. Yet Blade drives him to despair by kicking out and not only that he comes back with a steady offence to keep the match very much alive. We get a few more minutes of unremarkable action until Bloodline gets another run at his L3O. This time he executes CETUS MASTERLOCK. Blade kicked him off the first time. So Bloodline dishes out a few more heavy hits before trying again. This time he got the move on. Blade tried to withstand it and then wriggle free. Unfortunately it’s locked in so tightly there’s no escape. Bloodline patiently waits for Blade to pass out through the pain and gets his revenge. It’s a big disappointment for the crowd who have taken to Blade just like they have so many of the wrestlers. The only silver lining is although he was beaten he does not appear to be injured.
Mandrill makes a huge comeback to beat Max Shield in a Scorpi King of the Ring match. The loudest boos of the night so far without doubt are for Mandrill. He walks out and seems to love it. It’s a familiar opponent for him in the shape of Max Shield. The fans had heard all about their legendary feud that has raged for over a decade. It’s a classic feud and when it comes to intensity this feud rivals those like Star Warrior-Thantos and Lord Nexus-Krakan. Now they were about to see it with their own eyes. Mandrill goads Max “after all this time you’ve still never won a belt. The achievements of the Colonizers dwarfed Genesis. Your team was conquered and the same will happen to the pathetic ROC you’ve aligned with. Once that is done I will move onto the whole of Centra. There is nothing you or your new buddy Corporal Aegis can do to stop me. Everyone will be my slaves”. Talk about how to incite a hostile atmosphere. Max gives his all to try and embarrass Mandrill and make him eat those words. Looking like it’s going to be one of his greatest performances as he goes on a run with MAXIMUM IMPACT. Over and over again he hits the move and it leaves Mandrill teetering on the brink. All Max needed to do was toss him out of the ring but Max fails to do so. Suddenly Mandrill stirs and begins a relentless wave of offence. Nobody sure where it was coming from as all Mandrill’s most dangerous moves came out. The despicable Voltaic Stunner was doing the most damage of all. Finally Mandrill delivers his COLONIZER CLAW SLAM and unlike Max he wastes no time going for victory. Max is sent from the ring immediately and was in no shape to survive the ensuing ten count. There is a hushed silence as Mandrill lords it up in the victory glow.
Rebel Empire overcame SWAT Team in a close Cosmic Cage match. Maybe not be main event but these guys steal the show so far. Rebel Empire, or more specifically Nefarus, are being wind up merchants. Once everyone is in the cage he beckons the floating mic down to him and says “we saw your match with Disorder X so we know how sh*t you are”. That’s like the red rag to a bull to Warfare and he seeks to bury Nefarus into a cage wall. Vendetta steps across and bumps chests with Warfare. These two huge men commence an impromptu test of strength. Their two partners leave them to it and take their places on the apron. Incredibly Warfare gets the upper hand and the SWAT Team looks like they’ve been wrestling as a team for years. Belying the fact they are largely untrained. They give Vendetta several scary moments and almost win after TRENCH WARFARE. Maybe it’s the lack of experience as they fail to deal with Nefarus who is able to save his partner. After such a near miss Rebel Empire improves and we get a long seesaw battle. Trouble is you always felt the longer it went the more likely it was that Rebel Empire would come through and so it proved. They finally put a sustained spell of offence against Trench. He was subjected to EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT and although Warfare saved him he then got distracted by Vendetta. As they fought another power battle where they were trying to smash each other into the cage wall Nefarus was going after Trench again who was now in bad shape. He used the SCISSORDRIVER to defeat Trench. The crowd groaned. Unfortunately the SWAT Team is discovering how tough wrestling is. They’ve wrestled well in both their opening matches but have lost them both.
Skinhead and Paragon defeated Prodigy and Terminus with Massif as ref. Thantos has kittens when he leads his team out and sees Massif standing in the ring. His calm face twists with anger and he quickens his journey towards the ring almost stumbling in the process. Can be heard shouting “you can’t have him as the ref, he’s biased against the CPC”. Massif stands poker faced and with arms crossed. You could almost see Thantos’s pulse in that famous facial scar of his. Then as if someone flicks a switch Thantos changes focus and launches into Paragon “you are as stupid as you look for turning your back on me. They should call you the big oaf instead of the big man. Terminus was always the chosen one and will prove his superiority. We made things easy for you in the CPC to make you look good”. Paragon didn’t give him the satisfaction of a comeback. He couldn’t be bothered and it reflected in his performance. Letting Skinhead, who isn’t in the greatest of shape, do most of the donkey work. Paragon may now be on the side of good but his arrogant persona has not just suddenly vanished. As it turns out Skinhead is really pumped up and determined to hand his old partner another loss. With Massif keeping strict order he is really able to pummel Prodigy and comes close to pinning him many times. Frustratingly Prodigy squirmed out the line of fire and tagged Terminus in. However Skinhead had so much momentum that he just carried on and after a few minutes caught Terminus cold with BRASS NUCKS. Thantos was either not expecting or fearful of receiving a VOLCANIC DROP from Massif as he makes no interfering attempt. Neither does Prodigy. Massif’s powerful hands sound like thunder as they slap the mat three times to signal the win for the Rocketmen duo. Johnny Rocket leaps about with delight. Was this the beginning of a memorable night for him and his team?
Anarchy goes over Wolf in a Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere match. Many Centrans not sure what to make of Wolf. Here he shows them what all he’s all about and by the end most of them love him even though he ends up actually losing. The frantic action explored many parts of the Central Palladium. Viewers got a big eyeful as they burst through a female changing room linked to a gym inside the venue. Wolf and Anarchy had no interest in the sights and carried on grappling. There were pin attempts in the runway, in the entrance lobby and even inside a restaurant attached to the arena. Somehow the action made its way back to the ring which is where it ended. Wolf took too big a risk with a deathjump and handed an advantage to Anarchy which he took. Anarchy unleashed CRUCIFIX DROP and it was enough, given all that had gone before, to win this particular battle with Wolf. Though this is the only start as these two will wage war in plenty more hardcore matches this year. The fans will barely have chance to catch breath after this classic as the big matches are coming thick and fast. The feud between Team CPC and Rocketmen is put on the map next.
Corporal Aegis wins a rollercoaster match over Mayhem by DQ. Aegis is going in head first into the GWFC by taking on hardcore wrestlers. Last week facing Draconian Sheik and now it’s Mayhem. It’s the best way of preparing for his mega feud with Mandrill and shows how he likes to lead by example. Every fan inside the Palladium salutes as he comes out. Mayhem was already in the ring and seeks to spoil his big entrance and heads up the runway. Aegis skilfully leaps over the barrier leaving Mayhem to charge at thin air. Now among the fans Aegis signs a couple of autographs before going back over the barrier and up towards the ring. He was now the one waiting for Mayhem and had the high ground. He could have jumped Mayhem as he tried to get back in but Aegis doesn’t like to fight dirty unless he has to. Offers Mayhem a safe path in before commencing battle. Turns into a dramatic back and forth encounter. Aegis starts fast and has Mayhem rocking. Arguably the only reason Mayhem didn’t get pinned is because of Brute interfering after CORPORAL PUNISHMENT twice. However Aegis rode his luck too when Mayhem missed LEAP OF DOOM. It was clear though that Brute wasn’t going to let it end cleanly. He began attacking Aegis outside the ring to help Mayhem out. The ref was perhaps mindful that this was Aegis being assaulted and wanted to protect him. So called for the DQ immediately. The crowd was obviously delighted. Probably not how Aegis wanted to triumph but he has won his opening two matches against tough opponents.
Rising Sun over Dark Justice by DQ. The three way feud that exists between the Titans, Terrorists and Hitmen makes this a tense match. Both guys could easily be attacked by the Terrorists or Lethal Lottery for a double hit. Even Lord Nexus and Krakan, whose rivalry runs so deep, are ignoring each other. More concerned with watching the runway for any signs of their common enemy. At least Rising and Justice are getting on with things. They serve up a decent match. Rising cannot believe how the fans have taken to him and it has an effect. He started a bit slow but gets better and better. By the end he was really putting on a show and trying to cram in as many martial arts moves as possible. That was until an abrupt end as a frustrated Justice tries to strike him with ROD OF JUSTICE. No attempt to hide the move. Instant DQ. When Justice tried to continue using it Rising executed a skilful swivelling kick and sent it flying out of his hands.
Titan Attack impressively handled the Ninja Assassins. Fun sideshow as Reynard B. Guile responds to crowd teasing over his crush on Amazonia “she is the one that won’t leave me alone, I cannot believe that bunny boiler has followed me to Centra”. He gets more and more worked up by it all and completely misses his cues to help the Ninjas execute their switching routines. All the while the Titans are ultra professional. They stay focused throughout a long match and get a crowd pleasing win as Scion Nexus used THE RISE AND FALL to beat Daeman. It’s easy to overlook considering everything else going but Titan Attack has had a very good start to the year.
Maelstrom pinned Tough Guy. Drama as Tough Guy gets a real tongue lashing from Krakan as he only just makes the curtain call. The cameras pick up on Tough Guy mouthing f*** off under his breath. Maelstrom takes advantage of this lack of focus. Coming back in the match to win via Maelstrom Destroyer. Significant moment as Mangus tried to brand Tough Guy. There was no attempt by Krakan to help him. Tough Guy was fortunate though as he managed to wriggle free of being held and slip away.
Rack defeated Antak. Revenge on the mind of Rack. Son of Ram shows up to run interference. He soon regrets it as runs straight into Ruin who sends him several feet back up the runway. Meanwhile in the ring Antak is getting creamed. Rack was just playing with him and strung the match out. Eventually he got bored of beating him. Used RACKED AND RUINED to get the job done.
Mike Fortune far too strong for Meteor. Banter before the bell as Fortune refers to Meteor’s old drug habits “I’m glad you’ve purged that sh*t out of your system but it still won’t stop me kicking your ass”. Meteor just ignores. He’s so grateful to be part of the Titans and opening this show. Listens intently to what Lord Nexus is advising and then sets about giving his best. Unfortunately his best is still not good enough. Meteor tried his new finisher which is a CHICKEN WING SUPLEX but Fortune totally no sells and gets up laughing. A few minutes later Fortune pins Meteor after a belly-to-back suplex. Lord Nexus tends to his new protege. Has has a lot of work to do in bringing this guy up to speed. Krakan later says of Meteor “shows how desperate the Titan scum are to sign that guy, we will take great delight in showing the people of Centra how the Hitmen are superior to the Titans just as we did back in Dimension K”.

UPDATE ON MASSACRE’S CONDITION!
The latest prognosis on Massacre is not good. He is reported to be in a deep coma and doctors do not believe he will come through it. The Gladiators of Aethra are furious and until they discover who the culprit is they are presuming everyone guilty. They are not exactly keeping a bedside vigil but they have declared war on the entire GWFC.
Here we need to take a look at some of the possible suspects. The first finger of suspicion points to Vengeance. It was widely known that he disliked Massacre. The power struggle between them for leadership of the Gladiator team was no secret. Of course Vengeance was once a convicted criminal. Performing an act like this is right up his street. Then what about Johnny Rocket for his comments about Massacre? Having been quoted as saying “I would love to shove that stinkin’ cigar up Massacre’s nose” he has put himself amongst the suspects. Also like many others he blames Massacre for the ban on wrestling back home. Johnny Rocket was particulary vocal about it hence the comments. Naturally Johnny denies this vehemently. He says it was just an offhand remark and definetely not a murder threat. To prove it he is co-operating fully with Centra super sleuth Detective Quidun’s investigations. Despite all that he still remains a suspect. So who else? Well, Doomsayer has told Detective Quidun that the poison in the cigar originates from Andromeda. We all remember the intense rivalries in the past between the Animen of Andromeda and the Gladiators. So maybe the members of Animen Invasion did it. Is their return to wrestling just a way of targetting the Gladiators? They are saying otherwise because apparently Antak and Son of Ram are furious with Doomsayer for causing suspicion to be directed at themselves. Son of Ram with steam coming out his nose said “Doomsayer. How can you say that? The fact the poison derives from the Andromeda system is no reason to accuse us. It’s strange how you know so much about this poison. Maybe you are the culprit. You will regret what you have said. We challenge your team to a feud.” Whether Doomsayer will react to this and sign Transformer to a match against Animen Invasion remains to be seen. Seems more like the Animen are using the whole poisoning as an excuse to sign high profile matches. But just who is to blame? There are so many suspects. The main ones for the time being according to Detective Quidun are Vengeance, both members of Animen Invasion and Johnny Rocket. Also let’s not discount any of the other Gladiators. They weren’t all comfortable with Massacre as the Minister of War. Quidun will have to speak to them. Although he has still much more to find out. For a start the surveillance cameras at the Centra Palladium have apparently opened a can of worms. Quidun will no doubt be looking into that. Let’s hope he can get to the bottom of all this.
Finally let’s hope word of what happened never touches the ears of President Cordanus in our home dimension or we may never get wrestling back there.

GWFC REPORT (THE END 2110 CARDS 1105 – 1108)
Champions * GWFC Heavyweight Champ: Paragon (Top Contender: Anarchy) * GWFC Tag Champs: Twin Blood (Top Contenders: Transformer) * GWFC Centra Champ: Enigma (Top Contender: Thunder) * GWFC Ladies Champ: Sniper (Top Contender: Serpentine) Latest News:
Apart from the shock poisoning of Massacre the rest of the first month goes off reasonably incident free. There were a few fractious moments such as the Gladiators looking like they might instigate a nasty attack on Enigma until the Code Enforcers stepped in. Then there was the whole Blade-Lorelei-Archon business. Threat of an internal dispute. That seems to of been hushed. Instead Archon is now making noises about getting back in the ring and trying to end a losing rut. So we can instead reflect back on a very successful start to the GWFC. The new audience has responded very well and there is a real appetite for more action. In fact digital content of past GWF events brought along on the journey has become a top seller. Many want to immerse themselves in the rich history of wrestling.
First big bragging rights on Centra go to the Rocketmen. Enigma negotiated the tournament to win the Centra belt. Unbelievably Johnny Rocket has got the best team in the fed with all the gold they have. When he broke into management all those years ago never quite foresaw success to this level. The Rocketmen were perceived as a middling team. However they won TEAM SUPREME back in 2103 and have now achieved this. Will Thunder come back strong to try and take the belt off of Enigma? Word is Thunder wanted to set his heights higher anyway and be in the Heavyweight belt mix. Trouble is Vengeance thinks, as self proclaimed team leader, that this is his territory.
There was too much else going on to reflect in detail. A brief summary will have to do. The Ramparts made a mixed start. Corporal Aegis led by example in his matches. However the rest of team stumbled. Although of the big players it’s Team CPC licking their wounds the most. Overshadowed by their main rivals, the Rocketman, and suffering key defeats. They are too good a team to stay down but this is not the start Thantos would have wanted in this new dimension as shoulders are already sagging.
Bit of housekeeping now. Commissioner Morpheus has announced that although the ladies belt will continue it may not be defended every single month due to the small roster. He believes being here in Centra gives a good chance to reset some existing rules. The ladies belt matches could get a bit boring with the same old contenders featuring. Controversially he has ditched the cruiserweight belt. He was never a fan of too many titles. He simply said that maybe if the fed goes back to Dimension K it can return but it’s not needed here on Centra.
Morpheus also says the GWFC will adopt a more familiar schedule to what happened in the GWF. Fans have been spoilt with lots of matches on the recent shows due to the Central belt tournament. Now we return to a structured 6 matches per show format with extra matches only added to special shows and supercards. The titles will be back to being defended monthly. All belts slightly modified to include the new GWFC logo.
The first belt defences on GWFC are a talking point. Lots of speculation on who would step forward to be the top contenders. Big surprise is Transformer are poised to challenge Twin Blood despite an unimpressive 2109. They’ve earned the right purely on the back of beating the champs so easily last month in a non-title match. Not sure they are championship material though and it will be a big surprise if they pull it off. Of course the biggie is the Heavyweight belt despite all the recent excitement of the Centra belt. Paragon has hardly lifted a finger since arriving in this dimension. His only real action was at CENTRA PERENNIAL and he wasn’t exactly impressive. He’ll need to be much better when he faces Anarchy who is hot off a win over Wolf. Last but not least is the Centra belt. Enigma worked so hard to earn it that he will be determined not to drop it straight away. Thunder is still vying for the title and says Enigma is not fitting to hold this prestigious new belt. Fighting words indeed and also surprising considering Thunder was expected to move onto capturing the Heavyweight belt. Johnny Rocket is hoping his grip on all the men’s belts maintains itself. Teams have had belt sweeps in the past but it never lasts very long. If he can guide his wrestlers through the month still on top then that is very rare and assures him of a legendary status as a manager.
INJURED – none; SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
ENIGMA - Could it be anyone else? Comes through a testing 4 match tournament to become the first Centra champion. Done in style too. Honourable mention must go to Corporal Aegis though as he makes a very respectable start to his wrestling career.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
TITAN ATTACK - Other teams and feuds may of taken the spotlight but amidst it all Titan Attack has polished off by their feud rivals in the same month. They could be about to step up to the next level and become a consistent top ranked team.

CARD 1109 – RUINS OF ANTILIA:
Lots coming from the CENTRA COMBAT show this week. Of course Corporal Aegis being on the bill was the biggest draw and people were curious to see Dreadnaught, the wrestler they’ve been told is on borrowed time and could die in the ring, for the first time. However most memorable was an Animen attack on Doomsayer and big brawl with Transformer, setting the seeds for an upcoming match. The Animen haven’t taken kindly to Doomsayer accusing them of being involved in Massacre’s poisoning. With the element of surprise and also weapons in hand the Animen left both Monad and Nth Degree in a heap. These guys may not be up to the standards of Animen past but they are determined to make their presence felt.
Corporal Aegis keeps up his winning record by beating in Draconian Sheik in a Titan Death match. Clashing again. This time with a Titan Death flavour. Aegis didn’t mind facing Drac twice because he was curious whether he could beat him again and prove to himself it wasn’t a fluke. Strangely it is always better to face Drac in special matches as it means the threat of the Terrorists is vanquished. Almost seemed odd to have him coming to the ring without lots of cheering. Not many fans make the trip to Antilia out of fear. Those that do make themselves heard. Aegis almost gives them a night to remember as he comes close to winning in less than a minute. Countered Drac’s initial wild attack and doing the Opening Salvo into CORPORAL PUNISHMENT combination. Proves a tad too early to put the match to bed though. Drac comes back and makes a match of it. Aegis is able to dig deep though and puts fatigue on Drac with some more pin attempts. He steers himself to an another solid win after a double knee lift sends Drac sprawling and Aegis wastes no time in going for the pin after this. Great stuff. Aegis looks more than ready for the feud with the Colonizers to commence. He has proven he can wrestle to a high level.
Code Enforcer Manslaughter beats Anarchy in a Ruins of Antilia match. Anarchy not resting up ahead of his shot at the Heavyweight belt. The chance to face another hardcore icon in this unique match type too good to pass up. It’s a brutal match which Manslaughter largely dominates. Even Euritar and Blazing Skull interfere after hiding behind a wall. They end up fighting each other whilst Manslaughter and Anarchy continue battling using the walls and even some drowning attempts. Despite doing most of the damage Manslaughter nearly suffered a disaster when he was thrown into an ancient stone wall in which then collapsed on him. Anarchy failed to take advantage and allowed Manslaughter to get back on top. Now back inside the makeshift ring Manslaughter hurtled at Anarchy with a running spear takedown. With so many tokens it was impossible for Anarchy to survive such a move. Great work from Manslaughter who sent Anarchy into his big title shot on the back of a doubt inducing loss. Mayhem overcame Code Enforcer Euritar in a Ruins of Antilia match. The war between the FDF and Gladiators hasn’t really take off yet on Centra. However here on Primus it explodes as Mayhem and Euritar meet in this dangerous match. Looked like Mayhem might be sent back to his Gladiator teammates with his tail between his legs as he struggled to cope with Euritar’s agility and spent the opening minutes just trying to survive. The turning point came when Euritar grabbed a bulldog headlock ready to smash Mayhem into the stone floor. That would have been curtains. Mayhem managed to throw him off and into a wall. The impact of which really damaged Euritar. After that it was anyone’s match. Back and forth it went. Allies from both sides made fleeting appearances. Eventually Mayhem got it back into the ring and got some momentum. He was able to end a draining match with Mayhem Manslaughter for a big win.
Mandrill controversially downed Rising Sun. Rising trying to build more momentum after beating Dark Justice. Doesn’t come much tougher than public enemy number one. He gives a passionate interview to Trisis and signs off with “wish me luck”. Unfortunately you need more than lady luck against Mandrill. Rising made a slow start and nearly got pinned in no time at all. However after that scare he was brilliant and fought Mandrill with great heart. Got so much momentum that victory seems possible after SUNSET SPECTACULAR. The in a move that only fuels the public disdain towards Mandrill we see Sentry shoot down Rising from behind with his stun gun. Mandrill picked himself up and took full advantage. Barely a couple minutes after that despicable act he pinned Rising after COLONIZER CLAW SLAM. Lord Nexus later defended his lack of action “if we bring ourselves down to their levels then we are no better than the Colonizers or all the other villains”. Have to admire his morals. Corporal Aegis hours later goes on the Centra version of Spacebook and says he was horrified at the actions of Mandrill and urges the ref to reverse his decision. Mandrill comes back moments with a laughing emoji and a picture of slaves of toiling in a field.
Skinhead squashed Dreadnaught. Just how long can Dreadnaught keep ticking? It was a surprise he made the trip. Finally an excuse to wind down and try have as many years possible left presented itself. However he was one of the first aboard that ship. Opposing him is Skinhead. Johnny Rocket may have an embarrassment of riches at his disposal but he’s still banging the drum for Skinhead. On top of this match Skinhead has a big meeting with Bloodline coming soon. But first to deal with Dreadnaught. He does that with total ease. Just two moves needed as he deals BRASS NUCKS for a 10 second victory. Audible gasps heard over this incredible win. However gasps turn to silence as all eyes are fixed on the fragile Dreadnaught. Wondering if this was finally the end. Mercifully he twitches after a few seconds and manages to sit himself up and then leave the ring unassisted.
The Clones defeated Transformer. Defender looks troubled in this match. Getting flashbacks to his heroic persona and stopping Mad Jester doing heel things but then he would just go and do something dastardly himself. Doomsayer isn’t too relaxed either as he’s berating the ref over such actions or lambasting his creations for their betrayal. He would get even more unhappy with the outcome. Nth Degree lost Transformer a controlling position after missing TWO HEADS ARE BETTER against Defender. Although he survived DEFENDER CANNON soon after and the bout went on for some time after this Transformer struggled and that was seen as the catalyst. It concludes as Monad gets in a tizzy against Defender and falls to his finisher despite a desperate attempt by Doomsayer to interfere which ended with him getting wiped out too. The drama of the match hadn’t finished for as it got worse for Transformer. They tried to depart the ring and they were headed off by Animen Invasion wielding weapons. Surprised and tired neither Nth Degree or Monad could muster a fight. They were clubbed down and left in a heap. Even Doomsayer wasn’t spared. This was clearly Son of Ram and Antak’s response to Doomsayer trying to falsely accuse them in being involved in Massacre’s poisoning.

CARD 1110 – LAVA PITS OF PRIMUS:
Back to the barren terrain. The scorching suns above beat down on the wrestlers. The makeshift arena offers minimal protection. Is a tough place to come.
Max Shield beats Paragon by DQ in a non-title match. Rare hero against hero battle. Massive chance for Max to prove himself on Centra and erase the memory of losing to Mandrill. Even though Paragon is technically a face now it is Max that gets cheered. Famous last words from Max as he tells Centra “don’t be alarmed by the Colonizers, I will show you that I am good enough to stand up to them and assist the great Corporal Aegis. Beating a legend like Paragon will prove that”. Johnny Rocket bites back “I wouldn’t be too cocky Max. We admire what you and ROC stand for but the Rocketmen are the premier hero team now. Take a peek inside our belt cabinet anytime you need reminding”. Amid that tense backdrop things commence. Max is mangerless as Trisis has other duties. Thankfully Johnny behaves himself and stays hands off. He’s just noisy is all. With some pressure off Max wrestles better than he has in a long time. Proving himself superior to Paragon through the short duration it lasted. However Paragon ruined the spectacle. Not wanting to be embarrassed by a pin fall loss he seemed to play for the DQ loss. After taking a neckbreaker from Max he rolls underneath the ropes to the safe haven of the outside. Max doesn’t want to follow him but has no choice as Paragon recovers and drags him out. Before Max knows what is going on he’s launched into the ring post and the bell rings in response. Max was angry afterwards “he calls himself a hero and does things like that, he knew he was about to get beaten. I’d love to get my hands on him again but I fear that I have other fish to fry”.
Pegasus blows Wraith away in a Lava Pit match. Pegasus finally wakes from his slumber. He is very vocal and taunting Wraith for his association with Mandrill “he will use you and spit you out, don’t let people walk all over you”. In fact he is so obsessed with shooting his mouth off that he was not keeping an eye on those primitive brutes. He was inches away from being wiped out by a flaming rock before the match had even started. That was a wake up call as then put on his match face and engaged Wraith. Poor Wraith never stood a chance as Pegasus was in one of those unbeatable moods. Even a failed attempt to get out the pit which wounded Pegasus didn’t slow him down. Pegasus ignored the pain and was straight on his feet. He suddenly saw the rock that had been thrown in earlier at his feet. Without hesitation he smashed it over Wraith’s head. Then follows up by incapacitating Wraith with PROJECT PEGASUS. Pegasus had all the time in the world to plan a safe escape and be sure of his footing. He emerged near a primitive brute which probably wishes it hadn’t wandered too close. Pegasus dealt with that danger by slamming it onto the rocky ground. The yelp it let out attracted a horde but Pegasus was quickly through the force field protecting the arena and to safety. A device attached to the belt allowing anyone wearing it to pass through. Rescuing Wraith with the angry brutes gathering was perilous. In the end a large robotic drone was despatched which literally had to fish him out of the pit. Any other method was too dangerous to contemplate.
Wolf annihilated Dark Justice in a Lava Pit match. Wolf looking to bounce back fast against another hardcore enthusiast. A first taste of the Lava Pit match for both. Wolf makes sure Anarchy knows that he has not forgotten about him though. Justice calls Wolf’s talk of Anarchy disrespectful and will make him pay “I’m no sparring opponent. I am one of the most succesful wrestlers in history and I plan to continue that success in Centra. Wolf will be a pretty good scalp”. Tough words but come the actual match Justice was offering very little as an attacking force. Wolf was in his element down in the pit. Pinging Justice around it and just pummelling him. Justice was only able to get his hands up to pathetically try and stem the relentless blows. Wolf swiped at him with a ferocious claw and made for his escape. Choosing the steepest side only to fall back in. It gave Justice time to recover and he tried to comeback. Wolf wasn’t having any of it and scooped some hot ashes which he threw in Justice’s face. A second escape attempt was undertaken. This time successfully and Wolf was out to finally get started on Centra.
Terminus impressive as he beats Vengeance. Mainly a match with rankings implications than one with any real heat. Seems Vengeance has been mugged off. Brute has been at the side of all the Gladiators for matches since arriving in Centra. However no sign of him here. Vengeance doesn’t seem to care and smiles while making eye gouging gestures at Terminus as they face up. If things were hot outside things were about to get hotter in the ring. Thantos does very little during the match. He may not like the Gladiators but doesn’t want to make enemies of them. Fortunately there was very little cause to get involved. Terminus withstands early pressure from Vengeance with that vile Eye Cleaver being a prevalent move. Once Terminus settles into a rhythm he becomes more than a match for Vengeance. Coming so close to a pin after HAMMERLOCK SLAM. Might have been forgiven for thinking that’s a big chance missed. However after some more back and forth Terminus gets another stab with it. Vengeance unable to kick out in time second time around. Vengeance goes off at the end uncharacteristically quietly whilst Terminus struts his stuff. This win heralds his arrival as a major player in the GWFC after spending a long time out of the spotlight. However he will need to keep his levels up if he wants to remain as the top guy on Team CPC. I am sure Thantos is somehow reporting back to Magnus Colby back in the known dimension.
Desolation Factor run roughshod over Ninja Assassins. This time Reynard B. Guile is more focused and able to to assist/meddle in the match. The teasing over his Amazonia crush is far less here. He screams at the Ninjas to get straight into the behemoths before the bell. Daeman’s way of dealing with Ruin’s frightening size is to try and smash him with a kendo stick. It breaks across the back of Ruin but it barely does anything. Ruin continues to advance barely missing a step. Commando Sam is loving this as the Ninjas seem genuinely scared. However a sneaky crotch kick does have an impact. Not the sort of move a supposed team of martial arts experts would normally be associated with. It’s the kind of thing B. Guile is sure to of added to their repertoire. Daeman is made to pay dearly for that at the end though as he is obliterated with RACKED AND RUINED an incredible 4 times in a row. He won’t have been thanking his partner or manager for their interferences which is the reason he had to take it so many times. Not that this was a walkover for Desolation Factor. Ruin had come close to being pinned after DOUBLE EDGE SWORD. The match turned on a wild 4 man brawl. Ninja Assassins have started life on Centra in a real slump. Is B. Guile to blame?
Disorder X owned Theatre of Pain in a ridiculously one-sided contest. Theatre of Pain are so p*ssed at Johnny Rocket for making false promises and dropping them. They aim to beat Twin Blood’s big rivals, Disorder X, to try and climb the rankings and get to them. Looking to jump Disorder X for a strong start. A guitar swinging about in front of them by Grunge stops them in their tracks. Eventually the powerful Tragedy managed to close in and rip the instrument from his hands. He then smashed it in two against the nearest turnubuckle. Finally tossing the two halves powerfully outside the small arena where some primitive brutes were gathered. A force field protects the arena so they cannot get in but going the other way things can pass through. The brutes think it’s food and converge on the remains of the guitar. Ends up smashed to smithereens. Grunge is nonchalant and sends for another guitar. Minutes later a lackey returns and hands manager Thantos a new guitar. To say Theatre of Pain pay for that act is an understatement. They are totally dominated once the match proper starts. Comedy gets beaten up the most and is cut off in the ring. He gets subjected to every conceivable finisher that Disorder X has. With the move that gets him pinned being Grunge’s GUITAR SHOT. Almost seemed inevitable the replacement guitar would end getting used. If Twin Blood were watching this they won’t be quaking in their boots over Theatre of Pain. Disorder X would have made the far greater impression.

CARD 1111 – CENTRA PALLADIUM:
A return to the opulence of the Centra Palladium compared with the other venues. Probably going to be the monthly theme. Couple cards from here and a card each held on Antilia and Primus.
Tag champs, Twin Blood, relieved to see of Transformer via a DQ win. Everyone is shocked by Transformer’s incredible rise up the rankings to earn a title shot. They were struggling as a team then out of nowhere crushed Twin Blood in a non-title match several weeks ago. After this going on an undefeated run, according to reports on dark shows, where they were mowing down the opposition. However they did suffer a loss to the Clones on TV a couple of weeks ago and subsequent sneak attack from Animen Invasion which whilst not injuring badly might have had an effect and derailed them. That might have explained why Nth Degree just went nuts and cost them the match. Having survived an embarrassingly quick loss as Monad barely kicks out after a Maxus Moonsault Transformer takeover. They are pounding Twin Blood all over the ring leaving Johnny Rocket a bit grey in the face. Suddenly a screw goes loose in one of Nth Degree’s two heads. He follows Sleeze out of the ring and just starts tossing chairs and tables as he pursues him. Even Doomsayer got pushed aside by his creation. The referee is intolerant of such behaviour and disqualified Nth Degree. Of course in that mood it wasn’t going to be a good reaction from Nth Degree who on hearing the bell tried to continue wrecking the place. It took several security guys plus assistance from Twin Blood to bring Nth Degree under control. Several Rapid Fire Head Butts got delivered in the melee causing some injuries.
Centra champ, Enigma, sees off Thunder again. Rematch which comes as a slight surprise as Thunder was expected to shift focus to the Heavyweight belt. This would be arguably tougher for Enigma as Brute was at ringside this time. Johnny Rocket was hardly going to be able to protect him against Brute should the worst happen. His microphone would have no chance against that Aethran Casque. However Brute turns out to be less threatening than expected. Perhaps mindful of the DQ risk which would prevent the belt changing hands. The two guys in the ring are left relatively free to wrestle and serve up an absolute classic. Enigma began at a frightening pace and went for his risky finisher three times in the first few minutes. Hit the mark every time. Thunder was saved by Brute twice and the other time kicked out under his own power. Thunder then clicks into gear and unleashes a huge wave of offence against Enigma. His own finisher THE TEMPEST is dealt out twice. Johnny Rocket risks life and limb to provide crucial distractions. Could be forgiven for thinking it’s only of matter of time before Enigma is going to be beaten. However he has some left in the tank and a second offensive surge sees ENIGMA SUICIDA risked for a fourth time in the match. He hits the mark again and Thunder is finally pinned. Brute watches on aghast. Thunder is the big Gladiator star of the future yet he’s come up short in his attempts to win this belt twice. Johnny Rocket celebrates a little but he hasn’t got much time to bask as he’s out again in the very next match with Twin Blood. He says to Trisis in a brief post match interview “it’s busy managing so many champions but it’s a good busy. I’m proud of Enigma tonight. He was more hungry and that’s the difference. Now he’s in the right team he’s realising his potential!”
Rebel Empire hand Malice and Overkill a DQ loss. Two heavy hitters on the tag team scene collide. Rebel Empire, with wins already over Theatre of Pain and the SWAT Team last month, will be thinking victory should guarantee them a title shot. Whilst Malice and Overkill desire a dominating win to get things going as a team after a stuttering start. They do have a lot to live up to with the legendary Gladiator tag teams that have come before them but Aethrans have little patience. Drama before the bell as Brute almost throws himself into the crowd over something shouted about Massacre. Very touchy subject. The crowd went pretty silent after that. If Brute was narked about that then he’d of been even more so at the way the match went. Another unimpressive outing for this new Gladiator tag team. The only thing that stopped Malice being beaten by EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT was Brute entering the ring and using the Decapitator on Nefarus. This led to the Gladiators being disqualified. Vendetta was angry and tussled with both Brute and Overkill in the aftermath. Malice and Nefarus were not really in shape to join in. Vendetta was outnumbered but Sentry soon evened things up and forced the Gladiators to back away. The threat of being blasted with that stun gun was enough to do this.
Mutant over Grovel by DQ. No surprise when I say the level of wrestling quality was low. However sometimes undercard feuds are great fun. There was a comical start as Mutant kept trying to sniff Grovel’s backside. Something which caused Grovel great agitation. Maybe it felt violated. It’s wonderfully wild after that and with Grovel’s aggression awakened it actually batters Mutant. Only is too unintelligent to work out that it needs to go for pins. A glut of add 1 moves leave Mutant whimpering in pain. Ultimately the ref had to disqualify Grovel for its wild antics. Leaving them with one DQ win apiece so far. This is a great feud I am looking forward to booking much more of. The possibilities are endless although Lava Pit (where Grovel has an advantage) and Cosmic Cage matches are probably what I’ll mostly lean towards.
Taechon makes Nora Pelf submit. Nora Pelf is getting back to her old ways. She comes to the ring adorned in some of Centra’s finest clothing. Obviously she has to take it all off to wrestle but even her wrestling leotard seems to have expensive gems in the embroidery. Really milks her entrance too. Acting like she’s seem kind of royalty. Taechon quietly just stands back and watches it all. She/he is just grateful to have a match as opponents are far and few between due to being both genders. After this she might have even more problems. Barely had to break sweat and forced Nora into submission easily via a scorpion death lock. Nora is angry at how she was humiliated and later accuses Taechon of being a freak who shouldn’t be allowed to wrestle adding “it’s more man than woman”.
Hunger devours Ms. Liberty. Ms. Liberty has been getting acclimatised to this new dimension. Focusing on getting her son settled. Now she’s ready to wrestle. Good news is she wouldn’t have too worry about Serpentine. It’s rare to see one Hellion without the other so this was unusual. Ms. Liberty can’t capitalise though. After an energetic start Ms. Liberty fatally misses a deathjump. Hunger then gets away with ABDOMINAL HUNGER for a quick win.

CARD 1112 – SUPER SUNDAY SHOWDOWN – CENTRA PALLADIUM:
This is the new bigger live show that will broadcast in any month that doesn’t have a supercard and will feature at least 8 matches plus interviews, It will be given unique names depending on the day it is scheduled and what is happening in the fed at the time. Usually it will go out on the weekends to maximise ratings and ticket sales.
Heavyweight champ, Paragon, lost to Anarchy by DQ. Working through the pros and cons of Anarchy possibly winning the belt. The people of Centra are not sure about Paragon and might prefer a more heroic guy being the Heavyweight champ. Especially after his recent antics up against one of their ROC heroes, Max Shield. However hero versus hero title matches are rarely booked so it probably requires Paragon to drop the title first. Only problem is nobody wants to see it in the hands of the evil Brymstonians. That’s almost as bad as Mandrill having it. Anyway they mostly cheer Paragon who arrogantly strode out holding the belt up. Johnny Rocket is proudly alongside him. Well not quite alongside as he is made to walk several paces behind. Maleph made a bold attempt to swoop at Paragon and take the belt up into the rafters only to come up agonisingly short. Johnny quickly runs toward the ring and looks underneath it. He pulls out a long broom and uses it to prod and fend off the winged demon. Paragon is able to reach the ring still holding his title. He then takes a look at it, hopefully not for the last time and soon to be reunited, before handing it over to the ref. After that he has barely got his jacket off when Anarchy is upon him with wild attacks. Not resembling much in the way of wrestling initially. Of course Paragon isn’t going to stand for that and battles back immediately. It’s easy to forget how good he is because if all that arrogance. They contest a tense back and forth battle which goes on for a long time. Things get even more tense when Wolf walks out. First he attacks Maleph and then when Anarchy gets on top and hits CRUCIFIX DROP on Paragon he enters the ring. Anarchy fights him off and tries to continue. However it brought Paragon back into the match and probably saved his title. Not that Wolf cared about that. All he wanted was to hurt Anarchy. He continued stalking the outside and when Anarchy ended up out there whilst trying to break Paragon’s offensive momentum it was the perfect opportunity for Wolf to attack again. The ref wasn’t going to let it go again and disqualified Paragon for this. Wolf screamed at Anarchy “told you we wasn’t done yet” and they started viciously brawling down the runway. A relieved looking Paragon staggered after them clutching his belt. He was just keeping even enough distance so as not to be involved. Even further back was Johnny Rocket who had been kicking the downed Maleph only to jump several feet in the air when the demon’s wings flapped into life. He started running after Paragon for his own protection. Big question is will Anarchy get a rematch and if so would he want one? He’s probably been sucked into a possible big match against Wolf next month.
Ladies champ, Sniper, defends against Serpentine. Sniper is flying the flag for the women’s division and doing a fine job with her style. She fights off an early sneak attack attempt by Hunger and really takes it to Serpentine. Trisis is guesting in the commentary and coins the phrase “girl power”. Got a feeling I’ve heard that somewhere else before. Anyway it looked like Sniper would coast it. Total domination for several minutes only she cannot put Serpentine away. Then comes a turnaround that hints at maybe a shocking loss. It’s a real test of Sniper’s wrestling credentials but she hangs on in there and eventually the pendulum swings her way again. This time she doesn’t let Serpentine off lightly and uses TARGET PRACTICE to finish the job. Post match her feud rival Maxine Babe ramps up the heat “if you knew the truth about Sniper nobody would cheer”. Does she know what the link between Sniper and Krakan is or just making it up to grab some attention? The fans are getting behind Sniper over Maxine. Even though Sniper is on a team with the Terrorists she is quite popular and the association is seen more as a marriage of convenience. It doesn’t look as if Montrol or Ghengis Khan have any plans to attack any of her opponents as they were absent tonight.
The Fighting Titans triumph over Hitmen and Terrorists in a Three Way Battlezone match. No better way to accommodate this three way feud than with a Battlezone. Managers are barred from ringside too. Not that Lord Nexus would have caused any issues but the Terrorists and Krakan would surely have caused carnage. The winning team was … This is how it went down … Mutant finished Meteor with TEMPLE GRINDER. I’m not convinced Meteor had ever won a match in my fed but it will took too long to check. For a while it appeared this might finally be the night. Sadly Meteor ran out of steam and then got mauled. He even suffered a nasty looking bite that’ll need treating … Mike Fortune ensures the run of Mutant is a short one. He uses THE HANGMAN to put it down … Mike Fortune keeps momentum as he beats Ursa Major. Once again THE HANGMAN does the deed … Mike Fortune beats Draconian Sheik via a reverse neck snap. Absolutely no stopping Mike Fortune so far. This is why I love Battlezone matches. In the space of one night they can transform guys into superstars … Scion Nexus ends the run of Mike Fortune via THE RISE AND FALL. Complacency sets in and Fortune finally gets beaten after a missed deathjump opened the door for Scion … Scion Nexus beats Vyper. Again it’s a mistake that lets Scion in and he then finishes with THE RISE AND FALL. The Terrorists down to their last guy now … Scion Nexus is in great form and eliminates Dark Justice. The effectiveness of his finishers seemed to of deserted him against Justice as they were not finishing him off. However Scion tries and tries again until eventually THE RISE AND FALL is successful … Scion Nexus marches on as he knocks off Splatter. There was a fear that Splatter, knowing the match was hopelessly lost, might try and just maim Scion rather than do any wrestling. Maybe that was the intention but Scion has been untouchable and manages to win again. For the first time he has to carry a small amount of fatigue into the next bout though. Nonetheless he managed to turn an attempted out of ring brawl which had been instigated by Splatter into his favour. Then it’s THE RISE AND FALL again. He has honed it to perfection and all the risk is now gone. That’s it for the Terrorists now … Scion Nexus overcomes Grovel. Surprisingly Grovel manages to put the most damage of anyone onto Scion. However it’s still not enough. No prizes for guessing the move that ended. It’s THE RISE AND FALL yet again. After a bleak start the Titans are now on the brink of winning and even still have Rising Sun in reserve … Tough Guy finally beats Scion Nexus to take it to the wire. He manages to latch on with FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK and force a submission from the exhausted Scion. It might save Tough Guy from a roasting. He’d shown up late again and was set to face the music from Krakan. However he might just now of won the Hitmen this match … Rising Sun ends the whole match by crushing Tough Guy in just 5 moves. So much for Tough Guy saving his hind. Undoes the good work of the prior match by going down meekly. Rising was straight in there though. Scion Nexus had barely rolled out of the ring when he was catching Tough Guy with an explosive spinning back kick. Just a few moves later Rising then wins after a gut wrench windmill. All the Titans then join in the ring to celebrate (and probably help watch each others backs).
Corporal Aegis lifts the roof again as he defeats Painmaster in a Cosmic Cage match. No question that Aegis isn’t prepared for his first clash with a Colonizer. He has tested himself rigorously. Painmaster is at a low ebb and is expected to be dealt with easily enough. The cheers for Aegis just get louder with every passing match. He maintains a steely focus and enters the cage. Eyes fixed on Painmaster at all times as he tugs at a few of the metal bars to get a feel for things. Something tells us his style of victory will be to go over the top rather than out the door or pinning Painmaster. Maybe Painmaster is using this match as a chance to prove himself to Mandrill and become his second in command again as he goes at Aegis guns blazing. His greater experience of such a match type looking to be crucial as he pops Aegis about. Then crushes his face against the bars to give the people of Centra a good view of their beloved hero in distress. The cameras hone right in. Then all of a sudden Aegis fires an elbow backwards into Painmaster’s gut and fights back hard. In the next few minutes it looks like Aegis would overwhelm Painmaster with a devastating offence. Payback for trying to humiliate him and Opening Salvo followed by CORPORAL PUNISHMENT comes. Surely victory guaranteed. True to his word Aegis tries to climb out the cage. This allows Painmaster crucial recovery time and he manages to shake the cage as Aegis tried to straddle the top. This forces Aegis back into the cage. Painmaster isn’t rolling over lightly and launches a big fight back. Comes within a whisker of winning himself following THE TORTURE RACK. The fans are worried. It’s the first time they have felt Aegis was in danger of losing. Their cheers manage to lift him through this dodgy patch and he turns things back in his favour. However CORPORAL PUNISHMENT fails to win for him again. His obsession with climbing out the cage proving costly. This time Painmaster managed to grab a leg and pull Aegis back in. Whereas before Aegis lost momentum after the failed escape this time he was keeping his rhythm. He knocked Painmaster about a bit more. Then a Centra Spinebuster rattled the entire cage. After that he waited for Painmaster to get back to his feet. Then delivered a lethal jump kick which sent Painmaster flying into the cage wall. He looked toast after that. Again Aegis makes his ascent out of the cage. It’s third time lucky as he reaches the top without drama. He pauses a moment to salute the fans and then climbs down for a great win. Another win in what has been a dream start to his GWFC career. Surely the big meeting with Mandrill is imminent and be couldn’t be more ready.
Bloodline takes care of Skinhead. Having seen off Blade it now means Bloodline’s attention is back on the Team CPC feud with the Rocketmen. Skinhead provides stern opposition. He has already starred for the Rocketmen and is not being overshadowed by his belt wielding teammates. There is the usual loudness outside of the ring as Johnny Rocket and Thantos clash. Johnny points at Thantos “I’m not scared of you. Once upon a time you were a great wrestler but you’re old and slow now. If you try anything against me or Skinhead then this mic will knock you out. It’s made out of some pretty heavy duty stuff”. Maybe it had an effect because when Thantos thought about interfering he got scolded by the ref and immediately backed off. Not that this helped Skinhead because he found Bloodline in untouchable form. It became a rough ride from start to finish for Skinhead. Johnny doing his best to keep him in the match longer after a perfect BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG. Was merely delaying the inevitable as Skinhead finally went down to CETUS MASTERLOCK. Wonder what Prodigy’s take on this will be? Bloodline had succeeded against Skinhead where he had failed. Prodigy may be a legend but he’s pretty low down the Team CPC food chain at the moment. Needs a big win against Skinhead to boost his standing. Plus to be done with more style than Bloodline had just managed which will take some doing.
Desolation Factor overcome Animen Invasion much more easily this time. Can the Animen do it again? Antak was already on the end of a revenge match with Rack recently and it didn’t go too well. However he declares that the together Animen Invasion is greater than the sum of its parts. Commando Sam has left his troops to it and stayed back at Camp Commando to watch. His attitude “they don’t need me to beat a couple of wannabe Animen”. Fortunately his troops do not him down. They gave the Animen very little offence and won pretty easily. Son of Ram was the victim of RACKED AND RUINED. Desolation Factor can now move on to bigger things. It’s not a good period for the Animen as next in line waiting to pound them is the Gladiators. That match is incoming next month.
Cygnus Strikeforce annihilated Disorder X. Team CPC hasn’t been firing on all cylinders since the Centra arrival. Very mixed results so far although Disorder X has looked very strong in all outings so far. Mace and Grunge may barely be able to stand being in the same ring together. However in the ring they still work extremely well together. That was until the tonight. Mace was anonymous as Grunge got taken apart. He only lasted as long as he did because of Thantos. Eventually Maelstrom beat him with ANNIHILATOR EDGE. Due to Grunge being a humanoid it was expected he might get branded. However Mangus is mindful of souring relations with Thantos and didn’t try anything. Witness accounts tell of a heated argument between Mace and Grunge later in the evening. Grunge certainly had reason to be annoyed as Mace didn’t pull his weight at all.
Thrash gets the better of Amazonia. The Centran people have been told all about the intensity of this decade long women’s feud. Some have even seen the GWF footage. They are not disappointed as they wage all out war in the ring in front of their eyes. On this occasion Thrash prevails as after several minutes she gets Amazonia with FEMME FATAL. Amazonia did not feel sorry for herself after the loss. In fact the very next day was boldly asking Commissioner Morpheus if she might compete and be ranked in the men’s division.

GWFC REPORT (THE END 2110 CARDS 1109 – 1112)
Champions * GWFC Heavyweight Champ: Paragon (Top Contender: Terminus) * GWFC Tag Champs: Twin Blood (Top Contenders: The Clones) * GWFC Centra Champ: Enigma (Top Contender: Bloodline) * GWFC Ladies Champ: Sniper (Top Contender: TBC)
Latest News:
The success of the GWFC is unprecedented. The opening month was successful and it has only got better as this month the shows are topping the ratings. The people of Centra are binging on wrestling.
No title changes to speak of. Transformer’s run at the tag titles has petered out after they lost two matches last month. They shot themselves in the foot when their title challenge ended in a DQ loss which will frustrate Doomsayer as they were in a strong position. Plus he copped a huge fine for Nth Degree’s actions. However he will do well not to be too critical or else he will have nobody left to manage if Transformer strike out on their own too. The new surprise top contenders are the Clones. Big hitters like the Gladiators, Rebel Empire and Desolation Factor all being overlooked. Rebel Empire will feel particularly hard done by given that they are 3-0 on Centra but there are no guarantees in wrestling and nobody has sympathy for the Colonizers. Also out of belt contention is Thunder after he loses a classic rematch against Enigma for the Centra title. It’s no secret he wants to go after the Heavyweight gold but if he can’t capture the secondary belt then maybe he’s not ready. Am sure Vengeance will use this as ammunition to strengthen his own position within the team. The Heavyweight belt situation is interesting as Anarchy is still the top contender but he’s passing up another chance to go for the belt as he is hopping mad with Wolf and wants another special match with him asap. Looks like Anarchy took the bait as they are due to meet in a 4 Weapons match next month. The lucky recipient of the title shot therefore goes to the #2 contender who is Terminus. If Mandrill hadn’t been so occupied with Corporal Aegis it probably would have gone to him. So Terminus has got a bit lucky. Maybe Commissioner Morpheus is consciously trying to keep the Colonizers away from the belts as long as possible. Arguably they could have been contesting both the major belts next month.
Phantast has been extremely elusive since the arrival on Centra. Now it’s been rumoured he has been giving Corporal Aegis and co some helpful hints. He is impressed with the Ramparts fighting guile but knows they lack wrestling experience. However his advice doesn’t come for free with the fact he has told Aegis “you owe me”. It could be a timely intervention as the first meeting between Aegis and Mandrill is coming. Aegis refuses to confirm these rumours and says “I prefer to keep some things private”. Taking a wild stab in the dark here that Phantast has made a contact of sorts only Aegis is not trusting him. However he knows Phantast possesses powers that he doesn’t understand so doesn’t want to rock the boat by denying any of this.
Poor Meteor doesn’t get much luck. He’s laid low as a result of Mutant’s bite in the Battlezone match. On the surface it didn’t seem too bad but it went gangrenous. He’ll see no action at all next month whilst undergoing treatment.
Can you get any lower? US. Traitor has leaked some graphic photos of Ms. Liberty into the online domain of Centra in a bid to unsettle her. It shows the strength of character she now has to ignore this disgraceful behaviour. She doesn’t hide away and is seen the very next day dropping her son off at nursery. Many sympathise with her. A few dimwitted reporters follow her back to her hover vehicle looking for comments to which she simply says “nothing I can do about it but get on with my new life, he’s shown himself in an ever lower light than before and I’m sure he’ll get punished in the ring. Now buzz off and let me carry on with my day”.
Commissioner Morpheus controversially declares Amazonia cannot compete for men’s titles or be ranked. As a compromise he is prepared to let her wrestle occasional matches against males. They will just be seen as special attraction/gimmick matches. Amazonia angrily says she will appeal and adds that if Morpheus felt her AMAZON ATTACK he’d soon change his mind “I can compete with most of the roster. Just ask Wolf. I beat him in a behind closed doors match. Okay my shield might have had something to do with it but I still beat him!” Amazonia certainly has a short list of guys she’d like to wrestle. One of those is now US. Traitor after what he did to her friend Ms. Liberty. Wonder if her big rival Thrash, who actually just beat Amazonia, will follow suit?
Hold onto your hats for #1115 aka FRANTIC FRIDAY. Two title matches on that card. Paragon defends against Tetminus plus Bloodline has another stab at the Centra belt still held by Enigma. Is a big chance for Team CPC to shift the balance of power. However the big news is that Corporal Aegis against Mandrill is booked. Has wild implications as has been given a Hydra Lumberjack flavour! That’s not all as Wolf and Archon will face off in a 4 Weapons match.
INJURED – Meteor (4); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
CORPORAL AEGIS - Still has a 100% record and looking like he’s been a wrestler all his life. Looks more than ready to meet the challenge of Mandrill. Plus his popularity is off the charts. Must give an honorable mention to Scion Nexus as his performance in the 3 Way Battlezone match was nothing short of sensational.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
THE CLONES - They are hot. Winning all their matches so far. Have leapfrogged more highly fancied teams into the top contender spot. Stands to reason that they are in perfect sync. They are the same person after all. Bet Doomsayer is feeling pretty sick at the sight of their success.
