CARD 1113 – LAVA PITS OF PRIMUS:
A real night of shocks in store. Nobody saw the wins for Transformer and Grovel coming.
Rebel Empire has the measure of the SWAT Team again in a Titan Death match. Can the SWAT Team fare better this time? Could do with the crowd to help lift them but in this dangerous place attendance is sparse. They very nearly suffer a hugely embarrassing defeat in 2 moves as Vendetta shocks Warfare with a Vendetta Rack Bomb and they immediately go for EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT. Trench saves the day though. Gradually the SWAT Team comes into it. They’d initially looked well out of their depth. They get some good offence going at times although without looking like they were going to win it. The big moves all remained unused. Rebel Empire then finds another gear and with the time limit looming they go to town on Warfare and use their finisher on him again. This time there is no chance of being saved as Trench was too beaten up to help him. Unfortunately the SWAT Team remains winless. Rebel Empire by contrast have won all their matches and might be feeling hard done by that they aren’t in the tag team title picture yet. Carry on like this and it surely won’t be long.
Animen Invasion shock Transformer in a Cosmic Cage match. The shroud of suspicion on the Animen regarding the poisoning has made them very angry indeed. As seen last month they hold Doomsayer to blame. But have they gone too far in their quest for revenge by signing to face Transformer inside of a cage? Transformer are widely regarded as a much stronger team and the confines of a cage would surely only make the gap between the two teams bigger. However instead we witness a massive shock. It was done in just 5 moves. Monad got into bother missing a turnbuckle smash on Son of Ram and colliding with the cage. Just 2 moves later he was on the end of ANIMEN FINISH. Son of Ram chooses the easier victory method of a pin over a cage escape. All the talk has been of Doomsayer getting dumped by Transformer in the future but after this he might be the one wanting to the dumping.
Grovel stunned Wolf in a Lava Pit match. Wolf has been itching to face beasts new and old since arriving on Centra. Grovel doesn’t have a clue what it’s been let in for. However this is a Lava Pit match which might just hand it a chance. Wolf looked strangely pensive as he saw some of the brutes looking down into the pit. Perhaps he felt threatened by them. As well he might for they played their part in what turned into a nightmare for Wolf. In a long battle he got destroyed by Grovel and accumulated an incredible 15 tokens of fatigue before finally wilting. The reason it took so long is Grovel’s lack of finisher. However all the add 1 moves and pit chart rolls took a massive toll. Wolf briefly threatens one of his famous comebacks in the middle of the match. Reversing an attempt to be smashed into pit wall and getting enough momentum to apply SAVAGE FACE CLAW and incapacitate Grovel for a short while. However he was so tired that it took far too long to get out the pit and he was easily thrown back by the brutes. An awkward fall meant Grovel was able to get back on top. Many minutes passed before Grovel finally decides to try and get out the pit. Probably not looking for victory. More likely it was just hungry. It made an effortless escape after a Repeated Throat Driver and left the GWFC dumbfounded. This was the legendary Wolf it’d just beaten. Not much chance for Wolf to lick his wounds. On #1115 he must face Anarchy in a 4 Weapons match. Needs to pick himself up for that. It’s a change to avenge his last loss to him. For sure Wolf will back to Primus as soon as possible too to try and fix what went wrong here.
Blazing Skull beats Code Enforcer Euritar by count-out. Love surprise grudge matches. This comes about as Euritar and Blazing clashed on the set of Anarchy against Manslaughter last month. Fuelled by this they serve up a great encounter. Lots of big momentum swings of the L3O kind. What was amazing was the behaviour of the 2 managers. Considering their personalities it was strange they didn’t get involved more or clash. Ultimately it ended on a count-out. Blazing was looking the stronger as more time passed. He threw Euritar outside and then caught him with a flying clothesline off the apron. Euritar tried to return to the ring after that. However he missed it by a second to lose the match.
Supernova back to her dazzling best to beat Anaxis. Supernova makes some controversial comments ahead of the match as she criticises Commissioner Morpheus for disrespecting the women’s division “the decision to only have our belt defended every other month is a backwards step”. She is hyped up and aims to show Centra how good women’s wrestling is with an energetic display against old rival Anaxis. Comes out very fast and nearly got Anaxis with her finisher in just a minute. Anaxis rides out the early storm and shows everyone how good she is by having a really good spell. Hinting at a win with CALL OF THE SIREN only for Supernova to dig deep and kick out. Maybe Anaxis lost some desire after that as she let Supernova back in pretty easily. Supernova takes full advantage and attempts SPEED OF LIGHT again. This time successfully.
Lance At-Las makes hard work of Sir Ender. Lance has eyes on a big meeting with Mayhem later this month. This is nothing more than a match to keep him sharp. Try telling that to Sir Ender though who was bigging this up as match of the night and bemoaning how it isn’t in the main event slot. Anyway Lance was expected to walk it only the match goes on and on. Maybe he was trying to give everyone there monies worth. Although when he actually allows Sir Ender some offence there is a worry. Sir Ender even had a pin attempt after a Throne Strap. Lance did turn it round but then there is the danger of time expiring. A draw would be embarrassing. Luckily he gets it together and uses MARS MANDHANDLER to finish it off. He will not be able to get away with performing like that when he meets Mayhem.

CARD 1114 - RUINS OF ANTILIA:
Tag champs, Twin Blood, survive the Clones challenge with a DQ win. Crazy mind games from the off. The Clones switch costumes. So the one usually playing Mad Jester is now dressed up as Defender of the Realm and vice versa with the other. Johnny Rocket is unimpressed and orders his team to ‘finish these loonies off”. Moments after that Jester bounds towards him and buries his barbed rattle into Johnny’s back. He then stamps on Johnny’s famous microphone prop. With their manager apparently incapacitated Twin Blood steam into the clones. Time to make them pay. The Clone dressed as Defender bears the brunt of the anger as he is on the end of TWICE BITTEN and TWIST AND SHOUT in the opening exchanges. However he survives both moves and the Clones improve drastically after that. In fact they come very close to winning the belts. Mad Jester got the upper hand against Dreggs and was ready to finish him with A DEAD MAN’S VERSE. Trouble was the Clones were on dodgy ground with the ref for their pre-match antics. He was intolerant of this blatantly illegal move and called for the bell. Twin Blood keep a hold of their titles as a result. Johnny Rocket recovered from his earlier assault just in time to see his team getting their hands raised.
Mike Fortune demolished Scion Nexus in a Ruins of Antilia match. Had to book this. The two stars of the recent 3 Way Battlezone encounter. Mike Fortune claims Scion Nexus only beat him as he was tired from seeing off three earlier opponents. It’s been turned into a Ruins of Antilia match which might just favour Fortune more. In fact Fortune had already thought of ways to use the ruins to his advantage by hiding his replica rifle behind one of them. Looking for easy access to the weapon should he require it. There was no need though. Scion was a pale imitation of his recent performance. Massively out of his depth among the ruins. Mike Fortune was all over him with two very early pin attempts. Scion was the perfectly set up for THE HANGMAN which brought a swift conclusion to the match. Mike Fortune then retrieves his replica rifle and mockingly pushes the point into Scion’s temple before casually putting back on his leather jacket and sunglasses. He had a swagger that suggested he thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread after that.
Blazing Skull and Tortured Soul defeated Archon and Blade. Archon proclaims that tonight is the first step in his new crusade to clean up the GWFC. Not quite sure what exactly that means. It’s very notable Lorelei is not present. Usually she is always at her son’s side. Although she and Archon have supposedly patched up their differences it could be that she’s still nervous about upsetting him. Not ideal in a match of this magnitude. It didn’t look good for them from the very beginning. Blade was too gung ho and immediately under pressure because of it. He managed to get a defensive tag to Archon who didn’t fare any better. Building no meaningful offence and slowly getting fatigued against Blazing Skull. Unfortunately he couldn’t get a defensive tag. Added to the fact he refuses to accept any pin saves meant it was only a matter of time. Blazing cooked him with his mildest dose of DEATH BY FIRE and that was it. Quite an easy win for the Brymstonians. Not a great start to Archon’s supposed crusade. The Brymstonians celebrated their win by going back and torching their dressing room causing a fire alarm to go off in the small Antilia arena. It looked like an evacuation might be needed but it was brought under control with minimal damage. Commissioner Morpheus reacted to news of this with fines and a suspension of both Blazing Skull and Tortured Soul for the rest of the month.
Code Enforcer Manslaughter destroyed Vengeance. Pressure mounts on Vengeance. Lots of finger pointing towards him over Masscre’s poisoning. Plus he lost a key match against Terminus recently. His role as leader of the Gladiators is looking weak. Especially without the results to back it up. Last thing you need is a match with Manslaughter. However if he is under pressure then he isn’t showing it. He approaches the ring wearing that sick smile so often associated with him. For once he has a ringside presence. Not Brute but Spike. Probably only because the Gladiators want to ensure no losses to FDF members. Or maybe Brute has received news about Massacre? Anyway Vengeance has help if needed. Although there is no dialogue between him and Spike. Manslaughter isn’t intimidated by the sight of Spike. He cannot get stuck into Vengeance quick enough. Totally overwhelming him. A second CODE CROWBAR within just a few minutes brings about a surprisingly easy win. Spike didn’t move a muscle. Likely not by design. He was expecting Vengeance to survive the move. Commando Sam urges Manslaughter to leave quickly. He sensed things could kick off between Vengeance and Spike if they got out of sight. A cunning plan that might of worked had the Brymstonians not arrived for their own match early and caused a distracting ruckus. There was the briefest of stand offs between them and the now recovered Vengeance and Spike before about a dozen security guys bravely waded in.
Genocide annihilated Wraith. Genocide has the potential to obliterate anyone he faces but for some reason he has never got close to winning the Heavyweight belt. Perhaps on Centra things can be different if that wildness can be controlled and there are less DQ losses. Maybe being part of ROC and around a guy like Aegis can help. In fact Aegis decides to be his wing man here which gets approval from the small crowd. Gets annoying though as Wraith takes an awful long time to engage. Nobody likes getting in a ring with Genocide and Wraith is no exception. Not helped by the fact that Sentry is missing. For reasons unknown. In the end Aegis runs around the ring and forces Wraith in. Wraith is busy remonstrating with Aegis for such an action and is unaware Genocide is closing in behind him. He turns around and nearly gets his head taken off. Wraith was barely able catch breath from this point on. Was generally tossed around like a rag doll. However he did something very few have ever done and took the full force of CORPUS GENOCIDE and kicked out. The ones that survive usually have some kind of assistance. Maybe he should have played dead though as it just prolonged the suffering. Spent a few more minutes being knocked around before the move comes again. With a double 6 required there was next to no chance of another kick out. Genocide had won clean. Perhaps the calming influence of Aegis had helped as he did far less brawling than usual.
Thrash beats Nora Pelf by DQ. Nora again living up to her label as an exhibitionist as she adorns a fur coat on her walk to the ring. Proudly exclaiming it was a gift from her beloved Johnny. It soon gets ripped off her by Thrash. Nora angrily scratches Thrash down the face for doing this. That was like the red rag to the bull and Thrash goes mad. A furious offence follows. There were fears for Nora at this point. However she fights Thrash hard and in one of her best matches she’s far comes so close to an upset after RAGS TO RICHES. Thrash was hanging on. So much so that she bails outside to get away. Nora is a bit too keen to go after her. The ref was not happy with such unladylike behaviour and tries to stop Nora. She pushes him aside which was a fatal move because it led to her disqualification. Harsh outcome for Nora.

CARD 1115 – FRANTIC FRIDAY – CENTRA PALLADIUM:
Terminus downs Paragon to become the new Heavyweight champion. Did Terminus do enough to earn this title shot? He is fortunate that other possible contenders are sidetracked. He is very motivated to pull it off now he has the chance. A long standing jealousy of Paragon has always existed within him. Terminus trash talks before the bell “you always hogged the spotlight, it’s the best thing that could have happened when you walked out on the team. I have been loyal for so long and now it’s my time to shine”. You get the feeling the crowd doesn’t care if Paragon drops the belt. He’s not proving to be a very popular champion with his recent DQ losses. There’s also never a quiet moment when Thantos and Johnny Rocket are at ringside. They were having their own war of words. Of course they sprinkle their own influences on the contest too. Thantos was first to get his hands dirty as he controversially applied MASTERLOCK to Paragon outside the ring as arguments were taking place inside it. The ref missed that entirely. Paragon was bundled back in by Thantos and was visibly hobbling. Terminus had a big advantage from that and tries to force it home. Paragon refuses to let that slow him down though and works hard to get himself on top. The pendulum swings back and forth in what was a long match. Touching close to 20 minutes. Paragon then gets very frustrated as Terminus breaks FINAL OVERTURE. He cannot believe that Terminus is avoiding the move. With such a long time having passed things get bleaker for Paragon. Fatigue tokens taking their toll plus the leg injury sustained at the hands of Thantos earlier becoming more visible. Johnny Rocket looks worried as Terminus suddenly downs Paragon with a backwards head slam. On sight of this he desperately tried to storm the ring but is effortlessly pulled back by Thantos and flung into the barriers. Terminus is able to cover Paragon unhindered and the belt switches hands. Thantos claps and enters the ring. He refuses to let the ref hand over the belt. Instead taking it himself to put around the waist of Terminus. Crowd is silent. They may not like Paragon much but he was kind of seen as unbeatable by them. As Thantos leaves he shouts “told you so, Paragon was only the champion because of me. I’m the big difference”. Poor Johnny Rocket has picked himself up by this time and looked close to tears as the camera pans onto him. It has been an awful night for him as both major singles titles are now lost. He only has the tag belts left now. Amazing how the balance of power so quickly shifts.
Bloodline beats Enigma in a thriller to become new Centra champion. No Johnny Rocket at ringside leaves Enigma in the lurch. The reality is that the Heavyweight belt takes priority and Johnny was spending time preparing Paragon for his title defence straight after this. Same cannot be said of Thantos who had vested interest in both matches too. He accompanied Bloodline. The lack of a manager didn’t seem to slow Enigma down as he played his part in what was an incredible match. Almost immediately the drama started as Bloodline went for his risky finisher early and missed badly. Enigma wasted no time in taking control and successfully hits ENIGMA SUICIDA. Thanks to Thantos Bloodline survives. I think Enigma hit this move three times in all. However Bloodline stayed in the match every time. Amid all this Bloodline was dealing his own offence too. All his big moves were coming out and also CETUS MASTERLOCK which is a very wearing move. Ultimately it was too much punishment for Enigma to withstand. Bloodline may of had mixed success with BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG but he was never shy about trying it when the opportunity arose. It proved to be the killer move. Albeit with a slightly lessened impact force of +2 but by this time enough to defeat the heavily fatigued Enigma. In a memorable picture Bloodline and Thantos hugged as if they were father and son. Bloodline rubs salt in the wounds of his sister Supernova who was probably watching this as he declares Thantos to be ‘the father I never had’. Good job Omega and Star Warrior cannot see this. They will be blissfully unaware in the known dimension.
Mandrill overcomes Corporal Aegis in a Hydra Lumberjack match. Finally Mandrill is faced with Aegis. The fans are going crazy for Aegis who if he wins might just end up being awarded the freedom of Centra. Maybe Mandrill is worried as he gets all tongue tied during his mic bragging and threats of enslavement. Aegis affords himself a grin. He feels untouchable. Especially with the rest of the ROC flanking him. By contrast Mandrill’s Colonizer lumberjacks are already outside the ring and appearing to keep their distance as much as possible. Am sure the thought of tangling with the hulking Genocide in this match environment is not a pleasant one to them. Luckily for they avoid such a confrontation. Commissioner Morpheus surprised everyone as he came out and took a ringside seat to watch and nobody wanted to do anything too bad right under his nose. Not even Genocide. So for a Lumberjack match it was a bit muted. Mandrill seemed to relax after this and showed his greater experience by tossing Aegis out a few times. His lumberjacks did their jobs when the opportunities came up. Aegis tried his best and threatened a few comebacks but failed to give his guys any work to do. Whilst Mandrill always looked dangerous. The end when it came was a bit sudden. Mandrill zapped Aegis with his illegal Voltaic Stunner. It didn’t look like it should lead to a pin but it did. Disappointment throughout the crowd as realisation that their great hero had lost set in. After the run he’d been on they’d been thinking Heavyweight belt glory was close at hand. Now such predictions looked a bit hasty. The real test of Aegis and his wrestling credentials will be whether he can bounce back quickly.
Anarchy busts Wolf up in a 4 Weapons of Destruction match. The heat between these two is off the charts after what happened in the Paragon-Anarchy match. Maleph declares “we Brymstonians care little for belts as violence and disorder is our priority”. Wolf is raging over so many things. The shocking recent loss to Grovel in a Lava Pit match doing nothing to help his mood. It explains why he starts the match early by attacking Anarchy behind the runway curtain. They come out the ring area already fighting. With great difficulty officials convince them to part so the chain can be connected to their wrists. As expected it’s brutal and bloody. Anarchy makes good use of the weapons and puts 5 tokens on Wolf in no time at all. Wolf did mount a fight back of sorts after trailing 5-0 and 7-2. However when it gets to 9-6 Wolf tried to smash Anarchy into the turnbuckle lined with barbed wire. Anarchy reversed it and Wolf went into it instead. Dragonmaster on commentary stopped speaking to wince on seeing this final blow. Just too much blood lost for Wolf and he collapses into a beaten heap. The Brymstonians are winning the feud big. Plus Wolf is in a bad slump. The people of Central are wondering what the fuss about him is. He’s not exactly convincing them of his legendary status when in the GWF. To make matters worse for Wolf he is now injured and will be for the next 5 cards. Knowing Wolf he will try and wrestle on.
Desolation Factor over Malice and Overkill by DQ. Man this is a stacked show. Here comes the first meeting of the two teams. It took mere seconds to really heat up as Brute smashes Commando Sam from behind with the Aethran Casque incapacitating. He laughs over Sam’s semi conscious body and says “that’s for boring us all with your preachings about the code”. That triggers an angry reaction from Desolation Factor and a wild brawl erupts between all four. It is so out of control initially that it looks as if both teams might be disqualified before the bout can even officially start. Finally there was some semblance of order. For at least a few minutes there was something resembling a match. Didn’t last though. Malice tried to use the Aethran Casque against Ruin and gets his team disqualified. Word on the street is the two teams will meet again at CLASH OF CENTRA and Massif will be tasked with refereeing it.
Titan Attack beat Lethal Lottery by DQ. Titan Attack might have a case for a title shot if they win this. They have been very impressive. Especially Scion Nexus. However Lethal Lottery are dangerous when they are ticked off. Particularly Splatter who is taking baseball swings with Arsenal to cause as much intimidation possible. Then it turns into a real circus act as Vyper pulls out a new snake he has acquired from Centra. It’s a huge one with exotic colours “let me introduce you to Fang”. Most would scarper when faced with that but the Titans bravely stand their ground. The ref though refuses to get in the ring until the snake is removed. We nearly don’t get a match at all. Eventually Vyper gathers Fang up and stuffs it into a bag. The match itself doesn’t live up to the all the early antics. Neither team got much momentum for a long time. The Titans hinted that they might sneak a win asa couple of their finishers weakened Vyper. However Ursa Major dropped the ball and allowed a turnaround. Splatter then upped the aggression levels and ended up slugging Ursa Major with MEET ARSENAL. Right under the referees nose and drawing an instant DQ.
The Soulwatcher comfortably sees off Dreadnaught. The worry always exists with Dreadnaught that this could be his last match. Am sure most wrestlers are not keen to face him as they will not want to be the ones semi responsible for him perishing. For now Dreadnaught keeps on ticking and it isn’t going to be tonight. The Soulwatcher dominated from the opening bell. I don’t think he rolled on a defensive chart at all on his way to winning with the THE REVELATION.
Amazonia beats Taechon by count-out. Amazonia gets her wish to face a man. Well not quite. The gender neutral Taechon is the opponent! Taechon has been getting a few more matches lately and has been impressive so on paper looked a good opponent for Amazonia. However he/offered little resistance. Amazonia was absolutely feral in this one. Endlessly pitching Taechon outside the ring. Ultimately knocking into a ring post after a shoulder charge.

CARD 1116 – TERRONAUT TOWERS:
A small venue that will be used infrequently. It may be small but it’s going to be hosting some big matches with Pegasus and Thunder main eventing. Plus Prodigy facing Skinhead. No belts being defended which is a good thing as can really focus on the feuds.
Pegasus beats Thunder in a dramatic Titan Death match. Thunder has forgotten all about the Centra belt and is aiming solely for the big boys now. Pegasus may not be current Heavyweight champ or anything but he’s still considered the benchmark by which all wrestlers are compared. It’s a massive test for Thunder who is considered to be the next big star of the future years. Thankfully common sense prevailed and this was booked Titan Death so we could have a proper outcome. Incredibly Pegasus almost wins in just 3 moves. Pegasus went for his finisher but Thunder survived. In the early stages Thunder was all over the place and he had to withstand a couple more pin attempts. Then Pegasus missed a deathjump after which it was all Thunder. It was amazing to see Pegasus being dominated in such a fashion. The deathjump became very much the key move in this contest because Thunder tries one of his own and impacts the referee. In the short while the ref was down Thunder laid siege to Pegasus with THE TEMPEST three times in a row. In fact there were 4 times Thunder could have pinned Pegasus if the ref hadn’t been down. The ref recovered and Thunder decides to change approach and go for another deathjump. Only for it to be a disastrous outcome as this time it’s his turn to miss. Pegasus cannot believe his luck and is straight on Thunder with PROJECT PEGASUS. This time it secures the win. In the aftermath Thunder was furious and calls the ref corrupt for feigning injury to help Pegasus out “I won the match. Pegasus is yesterday’s news. He got his ass kicked tonight”. Certainly the general consensus was that Pegasus had got a bit lucky. Even though Thunder lost he proved he is destined for greatness. It would no surprise to see them square off again and Thunder to win when that happens.
Prodigy gets the better of Skinhead in a Lepus Stun Rod match. Old rivals meet and both are struggling for form. Especially Prodigy who has not fared well so far on Centra. Even before that he was second best to Skinhead in their most recent matches. Having long been considered as the talented one in Superiority Complex and among the greatest wrestlers in history it is surprising to see him fall well below his standards. Of course Prodigy refuses to acknowledge this and maintains he is still one of the top stars. He needs to start proving it as his CPC teammates are overshadowing him. Initially it appears the bad run would continue. Skinhead was getting all the breaks as the rod holster kept lighting up when was on offence. The rod went loose on plenty of occasions as they grappled for it. Eventually Prodigy settled down and was getting more momentum and after a sustained run of offence started using his finisher. THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER was deployed a few times and ended up being the winning move. Maybe this win will kickstart Prodighy’s faltering career.
Max Shield deals with Painmaster. Wouldn’t want to be in Painmaster’s shoes as every single match seems as if he is proving himself to Mandrill. His status within the team is diminishing by the day. Once again he is not being afforded the luxury of having Sentry at ringside. Mandrill seems to be keeping Sentry as his own personal bodyguard now and isn’t all that willing to share him. Also no skin off his nose if Painmaster loses. Max still has to be on red alert though as it doesn’t mean something sinister cannot happen. Anyway Max does the necessary. Needing no more than a couple of minutes to win with MAXIMUM IMPACT. Then as he celebrates Wraith enters the ring after stealthily moving down the runway. Attempts to attack Max with Painmaster joining the beatdown. Lucky for Max that Genocide was in the vicinity. He flew into a rage when he saw things unfolding. Runs out into the arena and clears the ring. Scene is now set for a possible match up at CLASH ON CENTRA pitting Max and Genocide against Wraith and Painmaster.
Malice and Overkill annihilated Animen Invasion. The Animen are becoming the targets of a lot of revenge. Malice and Overkill haven’t forgotten how they were humiliated in losing to them late last year and have been itching to face them. Surely lightening cannot strike twice. Fair to say Malice and Overkill are much better drilled this time. They looked awkward when first thrown together but all the events of the past couple of months have turned them into a team that could go on to be every bit as devastating as past Gladiator teams. The only problem was that Animen Invasion were full of confidence. Their shock cage win over Transformer still fresh in the memory. A full nelson power bomb in the first move of the match from Overkill soon brings Son of Ram back down to earth. It’s total annihilation from that point on. Son of Ram never got out of the ring. It was probably for the best that he didn’t last too long as a TURNBUCKLE TRAP finishes him.
Lance At-Las over Mayhem by DQ. Lance is confident he can go toe to toe with the Gladiators. He had a great run in the Centra belt tournament and his confidence is high. More importantly he has full backing from Commando Sam to do a job for the team. He’s not just a forgotten extra trooper as Sam trusts Lance to carry out the principles of the code and says “I would go to war with this man anytime”. Mayhem seems to forget how long he’s been around himself as he laughs at this ‘old dinosaur’ stood before him. Lance repays the faith shown in him by Sam by wrestling hard and delivers a DQ victory. Got fortunate as LEAP OF DOOM looked like it might finish him but Mayhem missed and let Lance back in. Mayhem ended getting frustrated and Brute was unable to distract sufficiently when he got too out of control.
Theatre of Pain defeated Ninja Assassins. Two teams floating around a bit aimlessly at the moment. Reynard B. Guile is in fantasy land if the thinks that managing the Ninjas is impressing anyone. They no longer look a title winning team. Especially with his guidance. That trend continues here. Hydrax was pinned after SHAKESPEARE. Amazing how a great team can fall so far.

GWFC REPORT (THE END 2110 CARDS 1113 - 1116)
Champions:
* GWFC Heavyweight Champ: Terminus (Top Contender: Paragon) * GWFC Tag Champs: Twin Blood (Top Contenders: Rebel Empire) * GWFC Centra Champ: Bloodline (Top Contender: Enigma) * GWFC Ladies Champ: Sniper (Top Contender: Supernova)
Latest News:
Most GWF wrestlers are full of praise for the GWFC. Three months into its existence and many are happy that there is no degradation of wrestling quality. Is interesting how fans have took to some of the stars. Wolf was popular everywhere but on Centra he’s like marmite. Some fans love him but many do not. Of course nobody can hold a candle to the ROC team and more specifically Corporal Aegis. Another big fan favourite is Rising Sun.
Of course the headline news is we have a new Heavyweight champion. Terminus had good fortune to get a title shot in the first place and grasped the opportunity to topple Paragon. Terminus is bragging that it shows he should have been the top man in the CPC all along and he has always been superior to Paragon. Big question is who will he be facing in his first title defence. Plenty of guys are shooting for the belt with former champ Paragon chief among them. After much deliberation and debate with the championship committee Commissioner Morpheus has installed Paragon as top contender. The match will be the main event of CLASH ON CENTRA. In fact both former singles champs will get a chance to win their titles straight back as Enigma and Bloodline will square off for the Centra belt at the event too. This will cheer Johnny Rocket up as his team has an immediate chance to bounce back and become top dogs again.
Archon has announced a crusade against GWFC filth. Perhaps trying to distract himself from the internal unhappiness. So instead of just targeting the Brymstonians he is ready to punish all the worst rulebreakers in the ring. The Gladiators, Colonizers, Terrorists and Hitmen are all on his radar. He’ll even go down the special matches route if he has to. Is he biting off more than he can chew? Being a stubborn man it’s unlikely he’ll accept any help either. Especially from his own team. Lorelei doesn’t dare suggest anything as that’s getting into dodgy territory. It’s already off to a bad start after he was beaten by Blazing Skull in a tag match earlier this month. Hopefully he’ll fare better in solo action which is where the crusade officially starts.
Is Grovel beating Wolf in a Lava Pit match one of the biggest upsets ever? Grovel does hold an advantage in these matches but the way Wolf was roughed up was particularly shocking. Knowing Wolf he will be wanting to face Grovel again as soon as possible. Another guy wanting a rematch as soon as possible is Corporal Aegis. He finally tasted defeat as he faced Mandrill for the first time in a Lumberjack match. It took the illegal Voltaic Stunner to do it. Aegis says he learned a lot and next time the outcome will be a lot different.
Whilst Twin Blood are considered a great tag team they are receiving criticism that they keep getting away with DQ wins to keep their belts. Fans want to see them winning matches in a more stylish fashion. Johnny Rocket got a bit prickly when that was put to him “it’s not our fault of all these teams want to start breaking rules against us”. Although it’s no surprise Johnny isn’t a happy bunny given the month he’s had losing 2 titles. Such criticisms have not gone unnoticed by Commissioner Morpheus. He wants to listen to what people like and don’t like and is therefore planning to make their next title defence a little more interesting by giving it a special match flavour. Usually champions have a fair amount of influence over the match type in their defences but he won’t be tolerating any objections.
BIG NEWS!!! Amazonia finally faces the opposite gender at CLASH ON CENTRA which is the next supercard. She’s booked to face her longtime stalker Reynard B. Guile. Can think the only reason B. Guile is doing it is so he can out his filthy hands all over her during the match. He might take quite the beating in the process. A rundown of some of the other match ups incoming … Desolation Factor against Malice and Overkill with Massif as the ref (yes the rumours were true). Brute warns Massif not to be too strict or face a Gladiator backlash … The conflict between the FDF and Gladiators is really heating up on this show as it takes centre stage in another match. Thunder and Vengeance team up to face Pegasus and Code Enforcer Euritar. Can the two Gladiators work together? Thunder was actually earmarked to feud with Euritar but it’s clear Pegasus is the one he wants … After events on the last card Max Shield and Genocide will team up to face Painmaster and Wraith … As mentioned further up the news section both singles belts will be on line in rematches. So the former champions have a chance to reclaim their belts. Therefore it will be a main event of Terminus against Paragon with Bloodline going against Enigma. Plenty more matches also on the bill. Sure to include big fan favourites like Corporal Aegis and Wolf. Details still to be finalised.
INJURED – Wolf (4); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
BLAZING SKULL - With all the big title switches it almost went under the radar that Blazing knocked off both Euritar and Archon with ease. Almost but not quite! Maleph has made it clear that creating panic and disorder have more value to Brymstonians than belts. However Blazing does have it in him to maybe have a long overdue run with a singles title.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
REBEL EMPIRE - So wanted to give this to Animen Invasion for upsetting Transformer but then they went and got annihilated by the Gladiators. Grudgingly have to honour Rebel Empire instead as they are hot. 100% on Centra with 4 consecutive victories and now deservedly named top contenders to the tag belts.

CARD 1117 - RUINS OF ANTILIA:
Archon begins his crusade tonight. He has earmarked the Gladiators, Colonizers, Terrorists and Brymstonians as the worst offenders and will face one member of each team at every card this month, every match will be a special match. No knowing what condition he’ll be in by the end of it all. Code Enforcer Euritar downs Thunder in a Ruins of Antilia match. Thunder may of been unlucky against Pegasus but the record books show he lost. Needs to be picking up a win here to convince everyone he is a strong candidate for a run at the Heavyweight belt. However he suffers yet another alarming loss in what was a long and bloody affair. Even assistance from Spike, who had hung around from the last match, couldn’t help. Euritar was inspired as he used the various ruins effectively. Almost as if he has been getting tips from Manslaughter who is usually considered the more hardcore of the two Code Enforcers. Not to say he came through unscathed as had to take some tough offence from Thunder. In the end Euritar threw Thunder down some stairs into the ruins area. Then grabbed a cinder block and smashed it over Thunder’s head. Nobody was getting up from an assault like that. A significant win for Euritar. Aethrans don’t often make excuses but Thunder said the reason he slipped up was because his motivation was low and his focus is on CLASH ON CENTRA where he will be able to face Pegasus again. Spike squashed Archon in a Ruins of Antilia match. Not to be forgotten Spike is back in the ring and assigned to ‘take care of the Archon problem’. Archon is resistant to change but he’ll have to adapt his style and become more hardcore to cope in this. However it turns into an embarrassing disaster. A couple of shoves open the match. Then Archon tries to throw Spike into the ropes. However he stood too close to the opposite side. By the time Spike rebounded back towards Archon he was travelling at great speed. Throw in the huge size of Spike and it meant a colossal impact. Comically Archon pinged off him and over the ropes straight into one of the ruins. He was knocked clean out. Spike causally came out and pinned him at the base of the ruin for a 2 move victory. Cygnus Strikeforce heap more misery on the SWAT Team. Any ROC member is loudly cheered wherever they go. Even on Antilia the small congregation of fans is making themselves heard. Hoping they can inspire the team to its first victory. They might stand a greater chance against Cygnus Strikeforce who are not considered as strong as other teams they’ve faced so far. There is no doubt it’s their best showing so far but sadly it still ends in defeat. Despite periods of domination in which their tag finisher TRENCH WARFARE was used plus the illegal METAL RAMROD they could not get the job done. Mangus became more and more influential and was responsible for putting Maelstrom in a winning position against Warfare. He weakened him with ANNIHILATOR EDGE and then pinned him after a throat slam suplex. A move which takes some doing against someone as huge as Warfare.
Titan Attack continues their hot streak by beating Transformer. There’s a lot of hot tag teams about and Titan Attack is one of them. Transformer, on the other hand, are in disgrace after losing to Animen Invasion. Doomsayer is so disgusted he doesn’t show up and sends Transformer out to fend for themselves. After almost going down to a quick defeat Transformer threaten to rip up the form book with some meaty offence. Only to then clumsily surrender their superiority. Ursa Major gets Monad with TITAN VICTORY ROLL to win. As we all know Monad’s high pin rating is a big weakness and there was little chance of him kicking out of that. Titan Attack has now won their last 8 matches in a row. The run dating back to late 2109. Plus in this time they were recognised as tag MVP at TEAM SUPREME. Surely they must be close to a title shot but could do with Twin Blood dropping the belts in a couple of weeks time to make it happen.
Grovel destroyed Meteor. After upsetting Wolf it seems everyone is wondering if Grovel is an underrated threat. This maybe against only Meteor but another win will catapult its ranking. Meteor still has a dressing on his arm from Mutant’s bite but it gets ripped off in no time. Instinctively Grovel uses the bandages to choke him. When released Meteor tried to fightback but was looking so disorientated against this thing. He didn’t lay a glove on the out of control Montrol and was soon beaten via a Face Smothering. Then got worse as Tough Guy inexplicably showed up to continue attacking Meteor after it was over. Grovel seemed confused at first but then joined in. Meteor was bloodied as he was face planted into an exposed turnbuckle over and over again. Outside Lord Nexus was desperately looking for a weapon of some kind to help Meteor. He eventually found a rock that had ended up near the ring. He faced the attackers and although he stopped short of using it, as it’s against his nature, this was enough to stop more damage being done. Poor Meteor ended up being stretchered away. Commissioner Morpheus didn’t waste much time dishing the punishments as a 3 card suspension was issued to both Grovel and Tough Guy. Seemed unfair as Meteor will now miss 5 cards through his injuries. The length suspension should have at least mirrored the injury length. Hunger squashed Supernova. Start of a big month for Supernova. She has a title shot at Sniper incoming. It is dangerous taking on Hunger not too long before but she has to stay sharp and well practised. As we’ve seen Sniper is a formidable opponent and will be very hard to beat. Mercifully Serpentine isn’t anywhere to be seen so we can have a relatively clean match. Perhaps it might of made for a better outcome though for Supernova. She suffers a massive dent in confidence and loses in a mere 4 moves. Totally taken aback by Hunger’s agility to reverse her opening move of a Running Star Blast. Immediately in big trouble and then gets smothered by ABDOMINAL HUNGER. Everyone could see the illegal bite happening. Everyone it seems apart from the most important guy, the ref. Poor Supernova is going to have to really pick herself up after this.

CARD 1118 - LAVA PITS OF PRIMUS:
Back to the barren landscape. Just a few crisp packets blowing about and some discarded soda cans rolling around courtesy of litter louts at the last card held here. Not too many of the primitive brutes visible at first but am sure they’re around. As soon as the Lava Pit matches commence they will start to gather. Pegasus is supreme in his beating of Vengeance in a Lava Pit match. On air there are background murmurings of a change in Massacre’s condition. It is not known if it is positive or negative. Very clear that Vengeance is totally in the dark about what is happening. Does he even care? He’s probably happy as he is the one facing Pegasus instead of Thunder this time around. It’s no secret that Thunder is chomping at the bit to face Pegasus. Things looked very dangerous. By now primitive brutes are swarming all over the place. The previous bout responsible for alerting them. The combatants would need to tread carefully and choose their escape attempts from the pit wisely. Fortunately for Pegasus he is afforded the luxury of being precise as he totally dominated Vengeance. In just a few minutes he has used PROJECT PEGASUS and Vengeance doesn’t look he’s recovering from it anytime soon. Pegasus spies a corner of the pit that is not too steep and where the swarm of primitives are not gathered. He nimbly climbs up and escapes to take a brilliant win. He’s back to looking unbeatable and surely must have designs on have another run at the Heavyweight belt if he maintains his form. That’s sticking two fingers up to those who had said his time at the top has passed. Added drama afterwards. Losing wrestlers are plucked from the pit by a large drone and returned to the arena. However there is a gate malfunction when this happens and allows dozens of primitives to swarm into it. Screams are heard as the small crowds within plus all wrestlers are hastily evacuated. Not clear if Vengeance suffered any injuries but there will be little sympathy if he did. Draconian Sheik savages Archon in a Lava Pit match. Sense of foreboding as Archon takes on another highly dangerous match type as part of his crusade. He’s not won any of them yet. One of the Terrorists team was inevitably going to be targeted. Drac probably representing the worst of their kind. Although there’s not much in it with guys like Splatter and Vyper on the same team. Drac may not be capable of choosing his own matches but would relish this type in his own crazed way. At first it seems Archon might be able to cope well as he smothers Drac with his submission style. However a cruel Ch E agility based roll goes against Archon and he breaks down. Drac wildly comes back and his feared sharp object can be seen trying to carve Archon up. Then Drac goes for an escape. Probably enticed by the sight of a couple of primitives rather than any desire to win. They fail to prevent Drac climbing out. Drac then launches towards one of the brutes and appears to stab them causing a huge commotion. It’s bedlam as a result. Drac might have been overrun if not for a light being shone from where the arena stood. It attracts Drac’s attention and he runs through the gates to safety in the nick of time. Mutant defeated Wolf by DQ. Could this wilder and even more disgusting version of Mutant give Wolf a run for his money? If Grovel can beat Wolf then maybe Mutant can too. Especially as Wolf is wrestling injured. The wounds suffered against Anarchy in the 4 Weapons match are still raw. When Wolf is faced with Mutant he hesitates as if seeds of doubt have been planted in his mind. It soon becomes clear why he hesitated as the Terrorists are spotted heading out. They don’t usually accompany Mutant but are making an exception for a match against Wolf. Naturally they become very involved. Wolf had to endure powder being thrown in his face as he clamped SAVAGE FACE CLAW onto Mutant. He was also attacked in the outside several times. It so nearly led to him being beaten via TEMPLE GRINDER and his token count was rising. Finally Wolf could take it no more as he leaves the ring and starts wildly attacking the Terrorists. A billy club goes loose and he is able to lay everyone out. Controversially Wolf loses the match by DQ for this act of violence. How had the Terrorists been allowed to get away with so much yet the second Wolf flips he gets penalised?
Ruin beat Malice by DQ. Disappointing match. Almost looked scripted as if they were both saving themselves for the big one at CLASH ON CENTRA. There were no partners or managers around to even spice it up. After a few minutes going through the motions Malice rolled outside. Waited for Ruin to come out and then grabbed a chair which he half heartedly swung. As soon as he heard the bell sound then marched off without a second glance back.
Prodigy gets the better of Lance At-Las. Continuing Prodigy’s rise back to prominence? Centra belt looking a realistic goal for Prodigy should Bloodline drop the belt quickly or get higher aspirations. Same can be said for Lance who has been ticking along nicely on Centra. His nomadic ways have certainly helped him settle quicker than most in this dimension. Neither of their managers have made the trip to Primus which was refreshing that they could just wrestle. There was some good early work from Lance. He looked up for it. However that promise was then snuffed out by Prodigy whose avoidance of a turnbuckle charge turned the tables. Prodigy got THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER a few times after that. However it was actually a Satanic Skull Smasher which grabbed the victory. With Prodigy now bang in form its ominous for the rest of the fed. Team CPC are looking extremely dominant. Lethal Lottery crushed SWAT Team. Have to admire the way the SWAT Team is pushing hard to get the hang of this wrestling lark with their second tough match in as many cards. Their plan is to get some wins under their belts and come back for Rebel Empire. Maybe at GALACTICON. For now a tricky match to navigate with the Terrorists lurking too. Sadly it was another tough lesson to learn. Warfare got cut off in the ring and Splatter severely weakened him with THE SHREDDER a few times. Then handed off to Vyper whose VYPER’S SIDESHOW finished it off.

CARD 1119 - CENTRA PALLADIUM:
NEWSFLASH … MASSACRE HAS LOST HIS FIGHT FOR LIFE … Gladiators no show their matches. Both Vengeance and Thrash were booked to wrestle on the card. Presumably they are at the hospital which is barely a stones throw from here. Last minute replacements are found. The actual newsflash comes during the middle of the card. There’s not a ton of understanding at the moment. Nor a great deal of compassion. In pure simplistic terms the Gladiators are disliked. Massacre, as Minister of War, was seen as the main reason for all the problems in the known dimension. Plus the people of Centra were fearful. So the attitude is very much good riddance.
TRISIS SHOWCASE featuring Corporal Aegis … The roof comes off as Corporal Aegis comes out. He speaks about many topics. One of those where he expresses concern about Trisis pledging to accompany ROC to more matches at ringside “it could be dangerous out there, take CLASH ON CENTRA for example. Krakan will be floating around when I face Dark Justice. No telling what he could do. I cannot protect you at all times”. Trisis is determined though “I can handle myself”. Aegis is still not sure and tries to change the subject “I want to tell the people of Centra not to worry. Wrestling has proved very entertaining and various wars are being fought in the ring. As long as the ROC is around these will never spill outside of the ring and into the public domain. We intend to keep the Colonizers under control. Considering wrestling is new to us our results have been excellent. Of course we benefit greatly from the experience of Max Shield and Buck Steele. We are all great friends already”. Shockingly Aegis then calls Mandrill out to face him “I want to challenge Mandrill to another match as soon as possible. He cannot duck me. Our first meeting was just the first battle. Battles don’t win wars”. Aegis continues on when Mandrill suddenly walks onto set. Aegis is looked surprised. He didn’t think in a million years Mandrill would actually respond let alone in person. What would happen? Some feared an attack might be brewing what with Sentry flanking him. However Mandrill doesn’t show an aggressive stance and only takes control of the floating mic “Aegis, you are beneath my level. The reality is I am wasting my time engaging you. However by mere association with Max Shield you are an enemy. One that must be crushed as part of my plan to dominate the GWFC and make everyone on Centra my slaves. So you can have your match but it won’t be anytime soon. We will do it at COUNTDOWN TO GALACTICON. I’d beat you on the big night itself but we are already opposing each other anyway and I am sure our paths will cross then”. With that Mandrill throws down the mic and leaves. Aegis allows himself a small smile and then salutes the cheering crowd before hugging Trisis. In his mind he’s got what he wanted. As he departs Dragonmaster on commentary wonders what the reference to opposing each other at GALACTICON proper is? Perhaps the first clue/teaser to the event itself. Tag champs, Twin Blood, successfully defend against Rebel Empire. Twin Blood has higher standards than they have shown in recent matches. However despite criticism and a dip in form they are still the champs. They needed to be on top of their game against Rebel Empire who have won every single match they’ve had on Centra so far. All in convincing fashion too. Sentry was lurking ominously with his gun. Compared with Johnny Rocket’s mic there was no contest in terms of weapons. Only saving grace is that the gun’s usage would be a last measure thing for sure. As Rebel Empire knows the DQ risk is very high. Anyway it is quite a lengthy match. Not too many pin attempts as two great teams cancel each other out. Eventually Twin Blood gets a decent amount of momentum and link up for TWICE BITTEN on Nefarus. Sentry makes a hash of trying to distract the ref. Maybe he should of used the stun gun. A calamity sure to be punished by Mandrill. It allowed Dreggs to pin Nefarus and end Rebel Empire’s hot streak. Twin Blood finally show Centra what they are all about after a glut of DQ victories. Johnny Rocket seemed very relieved. His team is clinging onto gold having had a torrid few weeks. He feared after tonight they’d be left with nothing. Ladies champ, Sniper, loses to Supernova by DQ. Fair play to Supernova. Times are tough for her in this dimension without her family and all the problems with Bloodline. Plus she’s just lost to Hunger in what was pretty much a squash. However she refuses to get down in the dumps and still brings great energy and enthusiasm. Sniper tried to make it quite hardcore by going out of the ring several times. Each time Supernova showed she can brawl if she has to. One of these brawls almost led into her winning the belt as she followed with SPEED OF LIGHT. However Sniper is made of tough stuff and survived the move and also again later in the match. Eventually Sniper got herself disqualified. Not purposefully but the ref had seen her go down the route of brawling too many times. After several warnings he got fed up and called the bell. Supernova was disappointed at the outcome but knows she will probably get a rematch. She says “if I pull it off then there will be tears of joy. I’ve won many titles before but it will mean so much this time”. Mandrill overcomes Archon in a Circinus Cell match. Most teams putting up ‘more junior’ members to face Archon’s crusade. However for the Colonizers he gets the big dog in Mandrill. Archon’s style is not suited to a match like this and Mandrill was running all over him. When they started grappling at the top of cage Mandrill nails Archon with a power bomb. The roof breaks on impact and Archon falls 15 feet to the floor. It looked horrific. Somehow he got up and continued the match for a while but it took so much out of him that defeat was inevitable. That eventually happened when Mandrill used COLONIZER CLAW SLAM to end the suffering. Archon’s crusade has been a disaster but he won’t admit defeat and stubbornly continues with it. Even though he is now injured after going right through the top of the cage. The worst possible type of match awaits him next. A meeting with Anarchy inside the Torture Chamber!
Splatter shocked Genocide in a Titan Death match. The way Genocide dismantled Wraith last month suggests this monster is finally ready to make a huge impact. He was disappointed not to be facing his original opponent Vengeance. However a wild replacement is found in Splatter. Sensibly Titan Death rules are also added to avoid what would be an inevitable DQ outcome given the cast involved. Incredibly it was over in just 3 moves. Genocide just went for immediate victory as he grabbed Splatter for an overhead press and slam. Made Splatter look light as a feather. Splatter hit the deck but didn’t hang around. Ignoring the pain in his body to go straight under the bottom rope. Genocide goes to join him outside only to be struck with Arsenal. The weapon had not been confiscated and there was nothing to stop its usage in this match. Genocide took the blow and got himself back in the ring. However Splatter was not giving up. He enters himself and batters up with the mother of all swings. Not even Genocide can absorb MEET ARSENAL twice. He crashes to the canvas and is pinned. The Clones have it easy against Disorder X. Rankings match. Disorder X kind of being forgotten about by Thantos as he focuses on his singles guys. He accompanies them but did very little. Just stood in quiet contemplation. They do nothing to try and change that as they get easily beaten. Grunge never got out of the line of fire and was beaten after A DEAD MAN’S VERSE. Mace didn’t even try and free Grunge from the ropes. He was left to fend for himself. Surely this team cannot survive too much longer.
Anaxis over Ms. Liberty by DQ. Not much difficulty convincing Anaxis to replace Thrash. In fact Anaxis is pretty bored on Centra and wants more matches as she is very rarely called to ringside now she is separated from Heracles. She copped a pretty moody Ms. Liberty. She’s been having some sleepless nights with her son, Adam, apparently struggling with nightmares. It meant she was in no mood to play nicely in this match. She was under the cosh from the start and didn’t take too kindly to being thrown by her hair over the top rope. So when Anaxis tried to fetch her back in Ms. Liberty took hold of a chair and slugged her with it. Of course it meant she was disqualified but she has other priorities and didn’t care.

CARD 1120 - CLASH ON CENTRA - CENTRA PALLADIUM:
God bless the GWF! The show goes on despite the shocking events. Naturally the death of Massacre dominates things but the Gladiators are out in full force. They are not waiting for Massacre to go cold. Instead they show respect through the wearing of metal arm bands. It’s been dominating the news. Dragonmaster was co commentating the event with Trisis and sarcastically says “Massacre’s died? This is the first I’ve heard of it”. Clearly he doesn’t have a bucket load of sympathy. Defective Quidun is visible at the event and following all topics with great interest as part of his investigations. His hunt for clues will continue at most events going forward. Asked who his chief suspect currently is he simply says "there is no substance to any allegations at the moment, I will not comment until more thorough investigations have taken place". Heavyweight champ, Terminus, retains against Paragon. Good natured banter between these two rivals quickly turns ugly. Initially Paragon teases “you don’t have the mental strength to be a Heavyweight champion, the only way is down”. Terminus responds with a well worded comeback “is that what you said in the mirror this morning? I will beat you again and end your association with the belt once and for all”. He then parades it round the ring making sure Paragon gets a really good look at it. Johnny Rocket tries to relax Paragon but he’s in no mood for that. Smashes into Terminus hard and almost gets himself an instant DQ. The ref gave serious thought at pointing for the bell. Maybe he realised it wouldn’t go down well if he ended the main event before it had even got started. Thantos stood by arms folded. He was satisfied that Terminus had gotten under Paragon’s skin and would win not only the mental battle but also the physical one. Terminus picks himself up and dusts off. The belt had dropped to the middle of the ring. Paragon tried to pick it up but gets his fingers stamped on by Terminus who then disrespectfully kicks it to the side. The grappling then commences which heralds a rollercoaster of a match. Terminus flirted dangerously with Paragon’s FINAL OVERTURE. The first time was very early in the bout when Thantos attempted to attack Paragon on the outside. The blows weren’t taking effect so Terminus joined his manager whereupon Paragon subjected them to a crowd pleasing noggin knocker. Paragon then went for his finisher and with Thantos temporarily seeing stars there was no saving Terminus. Except he narrowly kicked out. An amazing act. Terminus later repeated the feat. Then when Terminus was on a real roll it seemed he might be about to win via HAMMERLOCK SLAM only for a timely distraction by Johnny Rocket. As Terminus and the ref honed in on Johnny he slyly dropped the mic in the ring. Paragon got hold of it and laid Terminus out. Yet Terminus still would not be beaten. Indeed he was showing his worth as a champion to survive all that. He then went and scored a major victory after playing possum to a Paragon deathjump. Getting out the way in the nick of time. Wasting no time he then went for his trademark slam again and got the pin. The toll of the match meant Terminus wasn’t in the mood for basking in the glow of victory. He simply accepted his belt back and slung it over a shoulder before trooping off. Thantos had been in the wars too and followed as if nursing a headache. At least they were in better shape than Paragon. The important thing for Thantos was that his team had come through this major event still in control of the singles belts. Centra champ, Bloodline, beats Enigma again. Positive vibes from the transformed Enigma that he can get his belt back. There is no doubt that he has flourished in the Rocketmen after his big break in the Champions team didn’t work out. Johnny Rocket promises him that he will do all he can to get him back on top. This time ensuring he would be at ringside unlike last time. Unfortunately Enigma tried to start way too fast. Suicidally going for and missing with ENIGMA SUICIDA within the first few moves. Enigma tried to keep going but the fall had hampered him. Johnny did all he could to assist when BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG came Enigma’s way a couple of times in the minutes that followed. However the fact Enigma didn’t lose to these was more down to them not being the sweetest of impacts than Johnny. It was very clear Enigma wouldn’t last too much longer and when he was knocked silly via an Avenger Cannon that was it. An unexpectedly easy title defence for Bloodline who is now really showing himself to be a top calibre wrestler. He is one of a few younger wrestlers being touted as Heavyweight champions of the future. Guys like Bloodline, Thunder, Euritar are expected to become big stars. The next generation if you will. But you had to feel sorry for Enigma. He had the balls to try and end the match early and it backfired. Surely he’ll be back among the elite soon. Just needs to win a few contention matches to try and repair his ranking. Code Enforcer Manslaughter defeated Mayhem in a Castor Chain match. Two of the biggest hardcore specialists around attached by a chain was a guaranteed bloodbath. Manslaughter was hyped up and immediately beating Mayhem’s brains out. Constantly using the chain. It was a surprise to see Mayhem being manhandled in such a way. He was barely able to stem the relentless tide of offence. Although Mamslaughter wanted to end in style via his HEADS WILL ROLL finisher he was unable to beat Mayhem with it. So instead he whips Mayhem into the ropes and for the umpteenth time floors him with a chain assisted clothesline. That secured the pin but Manslaughter wasn’t done. He continued to violently choke Mayhem with the chain until Commando Sam rushed out from the back. He shouted towards Manslaughter “enough”. Manslaughter begrudgingly complied with the order and released. There was lots of phlegm left on the mat as Mayhem slowly got his breath back. He stumbled to his feet and on realisation of how he’d been so soundly beaten angrily turned over tables and chairs at ringside before stomping down the runway. He looked that pissed off it would not be a surprise that he might be set to pursue Manslaughter backstage.
Wolf back to winning ways against Blazing Skull in a Total Anarchy match. Excuse the pun but Blazing Skull is hot. Wolf most certainly is not and he’s still slightly injured. He’s almost as stubborn as Archon with his refusal to rest. Anything can happen in this match type and the risk of exacerbating his injury is high. There were also cruel jibes that the reason Wolf had moved onto Blazing was because he cannot get the better of Anarchy and before long he’ll have to lower his target even further to Tortured Soul. Wolf threw that back in their faces as he pulls out a victory from the rare position of underdog. It was dramatic as both of them stepped on mines several times. Unfortunately for Blazing one of those mines was right next to a giant hologram video screen. A perfect prop Wolf could use to double up the damage. He picked up the wounded Blazing and did a running body slam right into it. Blazing slid down the fortified glass and ended in a crumpled heap. Wolf turned him over and pinned him right in front of it. He then let off an ear piercing howl that suggested he was pretty happy with the outcome. Surely he will be setting sights back on Anarchy now he has dealt with Blazing. It will not be lost on him that if an injured Archon can beat Anarchy then he should be doing so too. Desolation Factor defeat Malice and Overkill by DQ in a match with Massif as ref. Brute demands a minutes silence for Massacre or pay heavy consequences. Massif is sceptical but allows it. The Gladiators use this moment of silence as a chance to sneak attack Desolation Factor. Absolutely despicable. Even Massif is taken aback. The act comes back bite them later though as Massif has their cards marked. The Gladiators were in control most of the time. However it’s clear Massif isn’t doing them any favours. When Rack was on the end of UNSTOPPABLE FORCE Massif did nothing to stop the pin save that followed. However he was quick to stop the Gladiators doing anything. Tensions mounted and when Massif physically stopped Overkill from leaving the ring it was the last straw. Overkill shoved Massif into a turnbuckle to show frustration. Massif reacted by pummelling Overkill and showed he is still in tip top shape. He brought the mighty Gladiator to his knees. Things then begin to boil over even more as Massif then awarded the match by DQ to Desolation Factor. A big brawl triggered with managers involved too. A brawl that Desolation Factor won due to numerical advantage as Massif was helping them. The Gladiators ended up having to admit defeat and back off. Unfortunately the plan to have Massif officiate had done nothing to stop the DQ outcomes marring this feud. It’s going to need a special match flavour added if and when the teams meet again. Archon dug deep to beat Anarchy in a Torture Chamber match. Latest from the crusade caper. Archon looks exhausted. Not only has he been on all the live shows this month but his crusade has extended to the dark shows. Plus he is carrying injuries from his Circinus Cell match against Mandrill. Will this match draw a line under it all or is Blazing Skull to be the last man in the chain? Dragonmaster on commentary says “I cannot understand why Archon has undertaken this, maybe there is a method to the madness”. By the end though Dragonmaster was lauding one of the all-time memorable performances. Archon found an inner strength to go toe to toe with Anarchy. His submission moves were just perfect to wear Anarchy down. Then to win the bout Anarchy embraced the spirit of this hardcore match by sending Anarchy face first into the titanium bars. It pretty much knocked Anarchy out and the outside official made the judgement call to end it. Interestingly Archon took no joy in the victory “it’s not the kind of match that I enjoy but was a cruel necessity. It’s time to rest now. My crusade has been a success but in truth the fight against evil never ends”. Am sure the Brymstonian team will be stunned at this. Anarchy should have had the match sewn up easily.
Mike Fortune beats Vyper and Rising Sun in a Tirion Triple Threat match. This three way team feud is perfectly setup for these types of match. However there is always worry that the Titan guy will be ganged up on. Rising Sun tells Trisis in his interview segment “don’t worry, there is no honour among villains, they’ll attack each other just as much they will me”. First there was a snake infestation to deal with. Vyper took great delight in emptying a bucket of small snakes that cleared the ring. Some brave security guys had to step in to gather them all up. Am sure some got away though. One of the large ones seemed to slither underneath ring. Anyway panic over and things commenced. Indeed the villain duo did start attacking each other. Rising stood a while letting them wear themselves out but eventually he got dragged into it. After that it dragged on and on. All three guys were so evenly matched and anytime there was a finisher or pin attempt the odd one out was there to break it up. Seemed as if we might go all night and not get a winner. Eventually it did end. Rather undramatically. Mike Fortune used a 6:00 suplex on Vyper, who had the most fatigue at this point, and jumped on him for the pin. For once the pin was able to happen for Rising hadn’t managed to recover from a three way out of ring brawl moments earlier. Thunder and Vengeance over Pegasus and Code Enforcer Euritar by DQ. Unfamiliar partners all round but am sure this isn’t the start of some blossoming friendships. Just marriages of convenience. Thunder is desperate to get hands on Pegasus again and shoves Vengeance aside so he can start attacking Pegasus before the bell can even start. Brute nods approvingly when he starts doing this. Commando Sam worriedly shouts at Pegasus to wake up. He knows Thunder is highly motivated to win this match. Especially as he has suffered some tough recent losses. Vengeance gives Thunder the space he needs but one wonders what sick and twisted thoughts are going through his mind as he is stood on the apron. He doesn’t get much time to conjure such thoughts though as the match disappointingly ends in less than two minutes. The battling between Thunder and Pegasus quickly leaves the ring. Pegasus was on the wrong side of town with Brute nearby. So rather than wait to be attacked he acts first and grabs a litter bot that was in sleep mode and charging at ringside. Using it to smash down Thunder and Brute. Instant DQ. Pegasus later says of it “it doesn’t matter as it was only a meaningless tag match”. A view his manager Sam didn’t share “we’ll agree to disagree”. Kind of felt sorriest of all for Euritar. He didn’t get any opportunity to show what he can do. Max Shield and Genocide over Wraith and Painmaster by DQ. Perhaps the situation within the Colonizers is not all it seems. For a guy supposedly demoted Painmaster is getting in on some big matches all of a sudden. Up until recently I wouldn’t have given the Colonizer duo a prayer. That was until Splatter beat Genocide last week. He hit Genocide in the head so hard that he suffered ringing in his ears for days afterwards. He might not be himself. Indeed Max Shield did most of the heavy lifting at first. He gave Wraith a torrid time and hit him with MAXIMUM IMPACT many times but just couldn’t get him pinned. Wraith eventually got the hot tag and Painmaster made life far more difficult for Max. By now Genocide had started cranking into gear. He was desperate to get into the action. Only Max couldn’t manage to get the tag out to him. Instead Max was relentlessly thrown in and out of the ring by Painmaster despite the ref’s protestations. It seemed as if he was trying to either win by count-out or get himself disqualified so he didn’t have to face Genocide. He achieved the latter although it still didn’t save him from Genocide. As soon as the match was over Genocide bulldozed into the ring and choke slammed both Wraith and Painmaster into the mat leaving them for dead. That’s what happens when you get this guy mad.
Skinhead grabs a win over Mandrill by DQ. For those wondering why Mandrill is not involved in a meatier match it’s all by design. Having beaten Corporal Aegis he’s not in a hurry to get back in the ring with him until GALACTICON. He’s looking for slightly easier matches to manoeuvre himself into position for a title shot. Sensing Skinhead is in a bad place what with his partying and recent Prodigy loss Mandrill played on his desperation to get back in form. Skinhead snapped his arm off for this match up. It didn’t look like he could rely on Johnny Rocket much though. Johnny was there in body but not in mind. His thoughts understandably consumed by later matches to come where his team were looking to regain their singles titles. Just as well Mandrill took leave of his senses and within the first few minutes started beating on Skinhead on the outside to break his offensive momentum. He arrogantly assumed Sentry had him covered with a distraction. He was fuming when he realised he’d been disqualified. Stormed off promising that future Centra slaves will be treated even more badly as punishment for this decision.
Dark Justice beats Corporal Aegis to silence the crowd. Aegis finds himself way down the card after his loss to Mandrill. Still gets the biggest cheer of anyone though. Maybe they should have been booked to square off again here at this huge event rather than wrestle separate matches. To add to the spectacle Trisis leaves her position of comfort backstage to be out there with him. The worry is with Krakan around she might be more of a hinderance than help. However she quickly shows she’ll be able to handle herself by brandishing a can of mace. Making sure Krakan gets a good look at it before popping it into her handbag. Sadly she cannot inspire Aegis to victory. After a brilliant start which sees Aegis nearly defeat Justice with his Opening Salvo/CORPORAL PUNISHMENT combo he runs out of steam. Justice then takes control and hits Aegis with everything he has got. SHOCK PROBATION twice and the illegal ROD OF JUSTICE also twice show just how much Aegis had to take. The latter of which pathed the win. To say the crowd was no happy is an understatement. They could not believe Justice had gotten away with using his rod on two separate occasions. Sorry to say for Aegis the honeymoon is well and truly over for him. He is realising just how tough it is to succeed in wrestling. Reynard B. Guile got pulverised but triumphed over Amazonia by DQ. This booking goes against the grain of what Commissioner Morpheus had initially announced about women facing men. Maybe it’s the opening of the door. Reynard B. Guile excitedly enters the ring in a wrestling singlet that makes him look punier than ever. He calls Amazonia “a dirty little tramp but not to worry I’m not picky”. Very quickly he gets swept off his feet but not in quite the way he imagined as he gets sent backwards onto the mat. As soon as he gets up he is floored again as Amazonia twists his arm. Amazonia then gives him a birds eye view of her backside before sending it forcefully into his face. B. Guile groans after impact and is heard to pathetically call out “at least I’ll die happy”. Sadly Amazonia then lets him off the hook too easily as she then decides to grab her shield and try to smash B. Guile with it. The ref tried to stop her by grabbing it so she laid him out before bringing it down on B. Guile. The reserve ref on standby disqualified her and then promised to push for Commissioner Morpheus to suspend her for the assault. The officials are very protective of each other.
