Card 790 – Charon Ice Castle:
Colussus handles Nefarus in the main event. Maybe a sign that Mandrill doesn’t see Nefarus on the same level as the other Colonizers yet as the slave presence of Ram is denied to him. Or perhaps he just spurned having Ram at ringside having seen the recent failures to do his duty? Is labelled the underdog here. Colussus isn’t at his best in the opening minutes and has to survive SCISSORDRIVER. Eventually seems to get himself together and once he starts using the moves of Nefarus against him and strikes with CYBORG DEATHBLOW completely takes over. It’s just a question of Nefarus hanging on. Does well to evade getting pinned a few times but just gives Colussus too many bites of the cherry. A failed turnbuckle charge brings up a fifth token and his demise. This is a good pre GALACTICON lift for Colussus where he will be stepping into the ring again with longtime rival Heracles.
Dragonmaster impressively handles Manslaughter. Jury still out on Manslaughter since arriving in the GWF. He’s had a few matches now and in singles has a way to go. As a tag team with Enigma (Assassin Greatness) are very much middle of the pack at the moment. Darkos really need his new recruit to pick things up as the Masked Assassins are lagging behind the Titans already. Seemed that message had got across to Manslaughter as he is ferocious from the opening bell. Dragonmaster is struggling to live with him and get a rhythm. But perhaps inexperience from Manslaughter as he drags it out too long. Dragonmaster taps into his impressive fitness levels and starts to put a few moves on Manslaughter. His famed DRAGON DROP fails to get the pin but a Titan Drop later succeeds. Thunder overwhelms Star Warrior. Two tag specialists square off maybe as a pre cursor to some rankings matches between the Gladiators and Coat of Arms. With youth and power on his side Thunder has too much for Star Warrior and easily finishes him with THUNDERCLAP. Then a horrific moment suddenly happens as the Mercenaries burst in. They clear the ring and incapacitate Thunder. Krakan causes trauma in a fake gun attack on Thunder. Panic stations all round and Thunder is left quivering in the aftermath. Dead silence among the crowd. Nobody could quite believe the Hitmen would go this far. Read more in the separate report.
Thrash finally beats Ms. Liberty. Gladiator rage from Thrash. Cannot believe that someone like Ms. Liberty, who she sees as weak, is above her in the rankings and the top female contender. Thrash will do anything to get that ladies titles for the first time and finally prove her worth on Aethra. It’s no secret that she has been doing pretty horrible for the last couple years. She delivers something much more along what is expected with her and comfortably wins via FEMME FATAL. Gives her a good case for challenging again for the ladies belt should Ms. Liberty go onto win it at GALACTICON.
The Enchantresses nick a win over Amazonia and Supernova by DQ. Few eyebrows raised that Supernova and Amazonia are teaming but it seems they have built a lot of respect for each other. Supernova assures this isn’t the end of the line for Feminine Fury and her friendship with Ms. Liberty. They just didn’t think it a good idea to team up so close to when they face off in a title match. Unfortunately it’s a failed experiment. Amazonia sometimes struggles to contain her aggression and gets too out of control against Anaxis costing the match.
Pillars of Power make short work of Flamboyance. Following swiftly on from the slaying of Coat of Arms it’s another dominating win from the Pillars. Dynamo manages to pin his old partner, Vanity, after Powerhouse has softened him up. Just one week after being described as cannon fodder by Star Warrior it seems the Pillars are poised to become one of the top contending tag teams.

SHOCK NEWS … HITMAN HORROR! Krakan has gone too far in his quest to destroy the Gladiators and become the most powerful villain guy in the federation (Sam/Chaos, Krakan and Mandrill all jockeying). At a recent show inside the Charon Ice Castle, the Hitmen all stormed into a match between Thunder and Star Warrior. Fans screamed as the Mercenaries grabbed Thunder and tied him in the ropes to immobilize him whilst Splatter (ignoring his suspension) swung viciously at Star Warrior and the referee with Arsenal to clear them from the ring. Despite their vein efforts to keep clear of the bone crunching object both Star Warrior and the referee received blows. Thankfully they were glancing ones and the injuries were not too severe as Star Warrior quickly rose to his feet after being cleared out the ring. He tried to get back in and save Thunder in an act of nobility. However with the attack on Thunder about to happen Splatter was not about to let anyone near him and swung at anyone trying to climb into the ring. Even when the huge Overkill stormed to ringside he was firmly clubbed down. With Splatter on the rampage there was no helping Thunder. Krakan and the Mercenaries suddenly grinned and pulled out a rifle which was pointed straight into Thunder's throat. Horror began to fill the Ice Castle and fear etched itself across Thunder's face. An extremely rare emotion for any Aethran. Krakan stared with evil eyes and began to pull the trigger. Screams of 'NOOOO' could be heard on the outside but Krakan didn't care as he pulled the trigger right back. Surely the end for Thunder but then 'click' echoed across the silent castle. No ammo, Thunder was shaking as the Hitmen all burst out laughing. Some joke. The entire crowd was stunned into silence as the Hitmen left. Clearly these men are treading on very thin ground what with their catalogue of vicious attacks and wrong doings in the GWF. However they won't get away with it if Thunder and Star Warrior have anything to do about it. Within hours Thunder had dismissed the incident and was planning revenge. Star Warrior, who was furious with the match interuption and manner of the joke, has agreed to support Thunder. Although both men do not share morals they have a mutual hatred for the Hitmen and have thus signed to face the Mercenaries inside a Cosmic Cage in the one of the oddest tag teams in GWF history. Of course before that comes there is the small matter of the Gladiators taking on the Hitmen in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match at GALACTICON. Thunder may already of taken his revenge here.

Card 791 – COUNTDOWN TO GALACTICON – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Tired of seeing his name dragged through the gutter Grogan opens the show and addresses the fans at the GWF home arena. He announces that he is and always has been a Commissioner that is impartial and believes in fairness above all else. There are no favourites in the GWF office. Then urges the fans to put their energy into making this the best GALACTICON ever. After such a difficult year it is time to be positive and enjoy wrestling again. Even though the event will be at Brymstone nobody should be fearing making the trip. Security will ensure the safety of everybody including the locals. Of course not everyone can go so he wants as many fans as possible tuning in to watch the event being beamed across the cosmos. Onwards and upwards for the GWF is his final cry. He gets a mixed reception. Some people still don’t fully trust him)
Titan Fury write another chapter into Titan history as they beat X-Termination to win the tag belts. Sleeze and Grunge head into the match just oozing confidence. This year has been a remarkable success story. Sleeze brags they are riding this rollercoaster and are never going to get off. Could the Titans derail them? The rules have been relaxed on double teaming (I noticed the official double team chart comes into play for 2103 so will use it occasionally if I remember). Johnny Rocket says his team will be taking full advantage. Lord Nexus has a completely different attitude and simply states “it’s up to them but I’d prefer them not to”. In a dramatic match up that goes back and forth it looks like it’s going to be another near miss for the Titans. X-Termination manage to perform HEADBANGER’S BALL on Rising Sun. But this time they are not going to be denied as Rising Sun kicks out and the Titans come back hard. A pivotal moment happens as Grunge then goes to the top rope but Rising Sun gets up very fast. They end up grappling at the top of the turnbuckle. Rising Sun wins the mini battle and executes an awesome superplex back into the ring. It hurts them both but with Dragonmaster and Lord Nexus desperately shouting encouragement Rising Sun manages to get back up first. Maybe he should of tagged at this point but he was caught up in the moment. Picks Grunge up and performs a nifty wristlock suplex and goes for the pin. Sleeze is hopelessly slow to react and Rising Sun gets the pin. Crowd erupts and the Titans collapse on their knees as the title win is announced. They finally did it after over three years of trying. In an amazing gesture they take their titles and plant both belts on the shoulders of Lord Nexus and slap him on the back. Lord Nexus sheds a tear. This is a moment he has dreamed of for a long time. The Mercenaries win a shoot out against Coat of Arms. Lots of heat. The Mercenaries have shot up many people’s most hated lists. They thought this match would be a title defense (but blew their big chance) and of course the recent incident isn’t doing them any favours. Star Warrior was close at hand during the gun incident. He was so disgusted by their behaviour he practically begged his brother Alpha Force to support him in going after the Mercenaries. To defeat the Mercenaries would also take away the pain of their recent shock loss to the Pillars of Power. A gripping match takes place. Both teams in good shape and having plenty of moments in the ascendancy. No guy can say they got less time in the ring than anyone else as the tags and defensive tags are plentiful. Alpha Force looked strong against Vigilante hitting TOMAHAWK THRUST and ALPHA STRIKE in short succession. Vigilante’s low pin rating saved him without Soldier of Fortune needing to get involved. Vigilante then turns the tide and mounts a wave of level 3 attacks that suddenly has Alpha Force reeling. It culminates with POLICE BRUTALITY. Star Warrior smells the danger and tries to make a pin save but the ref stops him. Trouble is the ref’s back is turned as he escorts Star Warrior back to the apron. Whilst this happens Soldier of Fortune joins Vigilante and together they press slam Alpha Force and then take turns to stamp on his head. By the time the ref’s eyes are back on the action Alpha Force is in a bad way. Vigilante covers again and this time it spells the end. Big win for the Mercenaries met with lots of crowd heckling. For Coat of Arms it’s another bad defeat. The brotherly bond everyone expected to be so strong is not working for them yet.
Bishop Hell burns Archon again. Any match against the Lords of Fire is a deadly match, just look at the way Bishop Hell nearly blinded Pulsar in 2099 and the many injuries Blazing Skull caused last year. Add to that the shock inujury to Archon and then tragic demise of Crossfire after Blazing Skull's head exploded at the wrong time. With this in mind every battle against the evil Lords of Fire will be fought in the memory of the late Crossfire. This was not lost on the still injured Archon who again fought his heart out to try and avenge this sickening incident. Perhaps foolishly because every time he steps into the ring with Blazing Skull (skullcap or not) and his evil kindred spirit he is laying his career and possibly his life on the line. But try telling this to a man who has lost a friend and tag team partner. No way Archon, who fights under the motto of 'No Fear', will ever accept that the risk is too great. He won't rest until he has gained revenge. The brave efforts of Archon are still not enough though. With injuries still badly restricting his mobility Bishop Hell is able to pick him off. It is soon obvious what he is going for as he can be seen fiddling with his glove. A more eagle eyed ref might of read his intentions. Unfortunately it gets missed as Bishop Hell creates a diversion and then unleashes HELLFIRE to toast Archon. Lord Nexus staggers away from his match with Thunder as a DQ winner. Lord Nexus is back on the big stage. He continues to wrestle here and there. Although his mind will be on managing Titan Fury in their title shot later he is determined to give the fans a show but he is the big underdog here. Gets a huge ovation as he wears a ‘For Crossfire’ t-shirt down to the ring. Thunder is trying to put the terror of what happened on the last show behind him. Any sympathy the fans had for him after that trauma is immediately lost. Thunder performs a despicable act by attacking Lord Nexus early and ripping the shirt off his back and tearing it in two. Poor Lord Nexus receives quite the battering after this but does pretty well considering. Even managed an unlikely pin attempt after getting out the path of a death jump. Thunder rage gradually increases as he finds Lord Nexus tough to finish off. His famed THUNDERCLAP only getting a two count. Almost as if this failure made Thunder care little for the outcome now as he starts relentlessly tossing Lord Nexus outside the ring until the referee can tolerate it no more and calls time on the match. Mesmer against Colussus is a controversial double DQ. A big match to get the juices flowing ahead of GALACTICON and a rare foray into the ring for Mesmer. He has existed mainly behind the scenes. Mesmer gives a chilling promo and calls Colussus “a weak minded fool who will find it impossible to impersonate his own skills”. Come the match Mesmer’s lack of ring action shows as he gets largely dominated but he is so smart that he is able to ensure Colussus doesn’t get a win. During a deathjump move Mesmer slyly pulls the ref in front of him. He does it in such a way that it even looked like Colussus did it intentionally. The furious ref manages to get up immediately and just chooses to disqualify both wrestlers. Mesmer later claims by the power of hypnosis he made Colussus jump into the ref. It’s proof that Colussus lacks intelligence and he can be controlled easily. He assures Heracles that it will be a doddle to beat his old mate when they meet. Maxine Babe humiliates Ms. Liberty. With the biggest match of her night looming Ms. Liberty aims to go into GALACTICON in top gear. Maxine Babe is trying to use the situation to her advantage saying Supernova is spreading gossip about her ‘friend’ online. Maybe it’s that or perhaps the nerves are showing but Ms. Liberty is not herself at all. Gets completely owned by Maxine Babe. Even a hurt ref for a long period of time cannot save her. Maxine Babe ending her misery with DUDE’S CHOICE (it was the third time). Maxine then humiliates the semi conscious Ms. Liberty by getting out her lipstick and scrawling ‘slag’ across her forehead. Later, on Spacebook, she says next time she’ll do it with permanent marker so as to be a constant reminder of what Ms. Liberty is. For anyone wondering why Maxine Babe would carry such disdain towards Ms. Liberty. Well the fact that she was once Vanity’s babe as Sweet Thing many years ago tells all you need to know.
Janus wins a tight one over Dark Justice. Janus is green with envy that it’s the Matador challenging Chaos for the Heavyweight belt at GALACTICON and not him. He looks to take out his frustrations on Justice. However Justice provides stiffer opposition than he expected. With the match almost heading to a time limit draw (it was only allocated ten minutes) Janus manages to lock in GORDION KNOT for the third time in the match. Justice eventually yields to the painful move. It was interesting that neither manager showed up at ringside indicating that this was seen as a low priority. That’s embarrassing for both Janus and Justice.
Death’s Head demolishes Vyper but it’s only a DQ victory. Teaser for the Sick Things-Hunter’s Moon bout. Vyper will need to be a lot better in that one. He gets totally destroyed by Death’s Head. Only Mollock going wild and throwing Death’s Head out the ring saved him from being pinned. Terak says tonight’s result means nothing. At GALACTICON Hunter’s Moon will keep those Sick Things in the cage.

Card 792 – GALACTICON 17 – Brymstone Battle Dome: (A very dark atmosphere. So different to what we have all come to expect of GALACTICON. Usually it is a time of celebration and full of special effects and fancy pyrotechnics. It is impossible to provide the same backdrop at the Brymstone Battle Dome. The crowd is abusive and violent throughout and it looks like a riot could break out at anytime. Random explosions seem to go off every few minutes from deep within Dome. Very few outsiders have made the trip for fear of getting hurt despite the Commissioner’s assurances they’ll be protected. Those who have been brave enough to attend try not to draw any attentions to themselves and attempt to blend in with the rest of the crowd) Heavyweight champ, Chaos, overpowers the Matador. The old partners in crime meet again with the biggest prize of all at stake. Roles are reversed. Last year Matador was the man and Chaos was struggling. Now Chaos rules over the GWF with an aura of invincibility not seen since he first arrived in 2092. Reynard B. Guile feels the pressure at ringside. He is under specific orders from Colby and Pelf to deliver the Heavyweight belt back into the CPC and they will not take too kindly to failure. With Commando Sam hassling him outside it’s going to be tough for Reynard to pull his tricks and distractions. The opening bell is still ringing in Reynard’s ears when Sam seeks to take him out early. Calls him CPC scum and tries to grab hold of him and deliver SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Reynard squeals and runs away from him but Sam’s pursues. The Matador has seen the commotion and breaks off the bantering with Chaos to slide expertly out the ring into the space Sam is charging into. He meets Sam with a clothesline and takes him down. This allowed Chaos to also come outside and manages to grab the Matador from behind in a powerful full nelson and lift him clean off the floor. It’s a dramatic start to things. The Matador looks like he might be in some trouble trapped in the powerful grip of Chaos but he is so smart. Manages to immediately free himself by getting the fingers on both hands into the eyes of Chaos. The big man immediately drops him and things are well and truly on. Outside Commando Sam’s head is still spinning after that clothesline. It’s a good few minutes before he looks his normal self again. He misses some frantic action as the Matador tries to move fast and wear Chaos down. Reynard outside is screaming instructions to the Matador and trying to direct traffic. Things get rather busy as Magnus Colby and Sonora Pelf manage to use highly sophisticated technology to suddenly beam holograms of themselves to ringside. They were too afraid to show up in person on Brymstone. Even for someone as experienced and talented as the Matador it gets confusing. Too many voices. He stops to listen to Colby but then hears Reynard shout something. His guard drops as he turns and Chaos manages to grab a hold of him in BOW OF DEFEAT. The Matador looks in distress as he just about manages to wriggle free. Chaos just goes for the move again and again. With both Colby and Pelf looking disapprovingly at him Reynard B. Guile desperately tries to run and do something. Comes up behind Chaos and punches him from behind. Chaos just laughs and says “is someone trying to tickle me?” before dropping the Matador. Reynard looks petrified and tries to run away. Chaos follows him around the ring and Commando Sam (now on his feet) meets the scampering B. Guile with a clothesline of his own. Perfect revenge for the one he took earlier. Colby and Pelf know things have gone badly and their holograms disappear. Chaos looks satisfied that his manager has taken care of Reynard and returns to the ring to beat the count. He finds that the Matador is still on the floor gasping for breath. Chaos doesn’t even need to administer anymore punishment. Places his huge right foot across his neck and instructs the referee to count the pin. There is no resistance and an easy win is closed out. Chaos retains the Heavyweight belt and continues to look unstoppable. Interplanetary champ, Terminus, fends off the challenge of US. Patriot. Terminus is so arrogant. He brags that he is headlining GALACTICON and seems to think the IP belt is most sought after title that has ever existed just ahead of the AFW belt. Adam desperately wants to take him down a peg or two but getting to this point has been hard work. He literally forced Commissioner Grogan to give him this shot by beating Terminus in a non title match up. When Grogan finally agreed he apologised and offered to assign Massif as match ref to ensure fair play. It seemed a hollow gesture and was quickly changed when Grogan later said it couldn’t be done after all as Massif was already allocated to another match. When Adam asked why Massif couldn’t officiate twice in one night Grogan simply said that using Massif too much makes his appearance less special and “that’s not good for business”. Adam was furious and almost stormed into the GWF offices but Omega just about placated him. Told him to forget and just do the business in the ring. By the time the match rolls around Adam is still fired up. Runs to the ring at breakneck speed avoiding all sorts of crowd thrown missiles on the way (Brymstone is anti-American). Terminus is taken aback. He didn’t expect Adam to be so hardcore. After being smashed with the IP belt itself across the brow and planted into all four turnbuckles Terminus just about takes himself out of the ring for a semi breather. Reynard B. Guile is pleading with the ref to disqualify this madman. It falls on deaf ears but the referee does want Adam to calm down fast. Adam just cannot respect this guy in the same way he would of done Massif and pushes him aside to go after Terminus. He launches himself over the top rope with a suicidal cross body but Terminus just about manages to get out the way. Adam crashes into the barriers holding back the rowdy crowd. They love seeing him hurt and pressed up against the unbreakable glass. Terminus pulls him back and then launches him back towards the glass for good measure. It’s such a violent impact that surely it had to break Adam’s nose. Despite the difficult start Adam fights bravely and annoys Terminus by no selling HAMMERLOCK SLAM a few minutes into the match. Reynard B. Guile starts suggesting that Terminus ups the violence and even risk taking a DQ to keep Adam’s mitts off the belt. However Terminus wants the glory of the pin and keeps the action in the ring. With Adam now struggling to breathe through his nose Terminus severely weakens him by brutally cupping his mouth and then unleashing an Aran Power Drop. It has the desired effect and he is able to grab the pin and successfully defend the title. Terminus lauds it up. Holding aloft the belt and mounting every single turnbuckle to pose with it in front of an unimpressed crowd. Officials end up forcing him out the ring because the celebration went on so long.
At the moment I kind of see Terminus as someone who will become synonymous with the IP belt. Literally considering it his personal property. If he ever loses it will just keep coming back and always be challenging for it. Ladies champ, Supernova, keeps her incredible reign going against Ms. Liberty. The two great friends meet again for the belt. Only this time on the biggest stage of all. It could end up being a great night for Ms. Liberty and her husband, Adam, if they can walk away with a title each. She might have a chance because Supernova is still not at ease being on Brymstone. There’s a bit less love between the two ladies than has been in the past. Ms. Liberty wants that belt and feels Supernova has had a really good run with it but now it’s time to pass the baton. Safe to say she’s not had the best prep though. A shock loss to Maxine Babe on the last show has damaged her confidence. The vile crowd are not helping either. Most of them saw the disgusting message Maxine Babe had scrawled on her and keep the abuse going. Chants of ‘slag’ ring out and clearly agitate Ms. Liberty. Supernova doesn’t look comfortable with this but might be relieved some of the heat has been deflected from herself (it is common knowledge among the Brymstonians how petrified she is of the place and they like to play on it). There’s not much she can do about protecting her mate. She blacks it out and gets about trying to win the match and keeping her title. With the disgusting chants continuously ringing Ms. Liberty does her best to not let it effect her. Hits Supernova with a few decent moves including her impressive Liberty Leap. But class prevails. Supernova is just wrestling at a much higher level and is able to come through the early attacks relatively unscathed. Wins a double clothesline battle and starts building towards the finish. Which comes via SPEED OF LIGHT. Since becoming #1 contender things just haven’t gone right for Ms. Liberty as this becomes her third defeat in a row. Feeling sorry for her mate Supernova helps Ms. Liberty up and hopes the recent frostiness between them will now subside. The pair of them get themselves out of the ring spotlight as soon as possible with the crowd hostilities bubbling over. Seems a shame that many wrestlers tonight cannot enjoy their GALACTICON victories because they are more concerned with getting out of the place. The Hitmen, with Mayhem replacing Splatter, stun the Gladiators by beating them in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match. More intense than ever after what Krakan pulled against Thunder a couple of weeks ago. The Gladiators are on a revenge mission and aim to turn the Hitmen into pulp. They are very popular on Brymstone and get a big reception even though they recently beat the Lords of Fire in a match. Vengeance, still bearing the scars of Splatter’s lottery attack, leads the other Gladiators out. None of them says a single word as they march into the cage. The Hitmen on the other hand come out all guns blazing firing their weapons into the ceiling. Shockingly Mayhem is with them. Not wanting to miss out on any hardcore action he has struck a deal with Krakan to fight for them for one night only. He says this in no way constitutes a new civil war or any desire to feud with the Gladiators. Nor does it mean he is joining the Hitmen. It was just his only way into GALACTICON and the chance to spill blood in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match was too good to miss. It’s no surprise how brutal the battle was. Here’s how things went down ... Soldier of Fortune is out first against Overkill. The Mercenaries are in devastating form at the beginning of the match. Soldier of Fortune almost escaped after THE REVENGER. Hitting Overkill with OPERATION: AMBUSH shortly after made it a certainty ... Overkill quickly evens the numbers as he destroys Vigilante. The Gladiators use DECAPITATOR allowing Thunder an easy escape ... Vengeance overcomes his injuries to beat Vigilante with HELTER SKELTER. After a bad start the Gladiators now looking good but it’s tough being the last man and outnumbered. Can Overkill cope with this? His earlier punishment means he is tired; Vigilante wins a long and brutal battle with Overkill to escape. Mayhem shows during the fall that he’s not a team player. He failed to try and help Vigilante after TURNBUCKLE TRAP. Vigilante only just stops Overkill in the aftermath as the big man is slow trying to climb out. Now a straight shoot between Overkill and Mayhem. Should be interesting; Mayhem takes advantage of Overkill’s wilting state to win the match for the Hitmen. It looked like Overkill would win but Mayhem uses his experience and love of cage matches to prevail. A vicious Cranium Cracker is administered. Overkill’s legs go like jelly and after a few seconds he collapses. The ructions for losing back on Aethra could be huge. How will Mayhem be received after this? Could be that he receives plaudits for his brave fight or gets branded a traitor. The Watchmen beats Panic Attack by DQ as the special ref Massif takes no nonsense. Panic Attack almost as popular as the Gladiators and Lords of Fire here on Brymstone. The locals really appreciate their violent and unpredictable personalities. This was always going to be wild. Notwithstanding the usual animosity that exists but also the fact that Painmaster is the only guy to of beaten Genocide (and loves to remind everyone). Massif knows he is going to have a tough time keeping a lid on this. He also becomes a target of abuse from the crowd. Brymstonians hate law and order so that means any official gets a hard time but especially so for someone as high profile as Massif. Despite this Massif still strides out confidently determined to do this important job the Commissioner has bestowed on him. Not wanting to disappoint the fans Wolf applies SAVAGE FACE CLAW onto Buck Steele inside the ring. Hoping to trigger the transformation into Genocide. Sometimes Wolf gets carried away and puts far too much force behind it leaving his partner bleeding and injured. However on the big stage of GALACTICON it works a treat. Buck rapidly morphs into Genocide and forces Wolf off. The two of them start to brawl for a few seconds before realising they need to join forces and face the, now quaking, Watchmen. Massif manages to command great respect in the ring despite all the characters he is having to deal with in the ring (and of course the hostile crowd who are now threatening to torch him when he leaves the Battle Dome). Even Genocide backs off when Massif tells him to retreat to a corner. When he finally steps back and lets them begin it’s as if a switch has been flicked. Total carnage. All four brawling with Genocide tossing anyone who comes near him. Even Wolf and Massif get tossed accidentally. Massif storms to his feet and confronts Genocide chest to chest. The crazed tantrum subsided and Genocide takes his place on the apron. Feeling his partner needs to try and calm down Wolf does a lot of the early work in the ring. But the Watchmen are resilient and smart. They keep frustrating Wolf and go nowhere near that claw. Genocide shakes the ropes in frustration almost ripping them from the turnbuckles as he demands his time in the ring. Wolf gives him a forceful tag and Genocide enters the ring officially for the first time. Tocsin tried to waft his putrid scent. Normally that would stop wild horses but not Genocide. Unfortunately he hasn’t calmed down enough. Even though Massif is less inclined to call a DQ than a normal ref he keeps butting heads with Genocide over his actions. When Genocide tries to bury Tocsin into the glass barriers for the third time Massif calls the bell. The hostile crowd go crazy over this decision and it makes Massif even less popular (if that’s possible). Even Wolf is now having to try and hold Genocide back from attacking Massif. It’s all very messy at the end and a bit of a disappointing outcome.
Battlezone match, Fighting Titans narrowly defeat the Masked Assassins. Contrasting fortunes for the two teams heading in. Darkos is in desperate need of something here whilst Lord Nexus on the other side looks happy with life. In his first big test as the manager of the Titans they are looking good with possession of the tag belts. Also looking well set to follow in the footsteps of Trainer Jim by leading the Titans to a SUDDEN DEATH victory. Every reason to feel ultra confident and the good thing about Darkos wrestling, as part of the Assassin line up, is it means he won’t be at ringside in a managerial role to create mischief. Story of the match ... Enigma wins the battle of youth against experience over Lord Nexus. Interesting the way the draw has worked out. Lord Nexus, who is the weak link on the Titans, is out first. This can always be tricky for the favourite as if they unexpectedly go out it puts his team on the back foot immediately. Enigma is determined not to get caught in that trap but Lord Nexus uses all his experience to frustrate him. Even gets clean out the way of FEET OF FURY after being pushed outside. Enigma miraculously lands on his feet avoiding injury. This way he is able to keep the pressure on Lord Nexus. When he goes for the move again he makes sure Lord Nexus is more hurt. This time hitting the mark and taking the win; Ursa Major stuns Enigma with an exquisitely timed high cross body to knock him out. Flies in the face of crowd jibes that the Titans were saving their best til last. Maybe their best has just arrived; Manslaughter stops Ursa Major in his tracks. Ursa Major starts with high energy but fades. Manslaughter overcomes him with SNACK, CRACK, POP; Rising Sun evens it up again as he defeats Manslaughter. Looked like Manslaughter was finally proving his worth as he begins strong with his finisher again. But Rising Sun survives the move and never looks back after that. Takes SUNSET SPECTACULAR an incredible four times but he never gives up on the move. Eventually Manslaughter falls to it. With Darkos and Zouave left it doesn’t look too good for the Assassins now; Rising Sun pinned Darkos to bring the Titans to the brink of victory. Darkos may have a menacing look but he’s no match for Rising Sun. Takes a couple of goes but SUNSET SPECTACULAR again does the business; Zouave stuns Rising Sun. Nobody gives Zouave a chance but he gets out the way of a turnbuckle charge and manages to get Rising Sun pinned. Glimmer of hope for the Assassins; Dragonmaster closes out victory for the Titans by beating Zouave. Got an early scare after THE DEMOLISHER got used against him but brushed it off to then dominate. DRAGON DROP a couple times to leave Zouave wobbly and then a Titan Drop to finish him off. Turnbuckle Shock match, New Order absolutely cream X-Termination. Dreggs has been in the shadow of his twin brother and is determined to win this huge match. He cannot stand that such poor attitudes that X-Termination have are being rewarded so handsomely. Plus the intensity is higher than ever after X-Termination’s part played in jumping Raven earlier. The grey area is how seriously X-Termination will take things. Having just lost the tag belts they might not be caring too much for the match. New Order quickly remind them how seriously they need to take things. Storming the ring and not even waiting for their formal announcements. Sleeze and Grunge hadn’t even had a chance to put down their guitars. The New Order is straight on them and looking to put their heads into those electrified buckles. First man to get fried is Grunge. The top of the buckle sizzles on impact and his hair stands up on end. He never gets a chance to recover as Mace then pulverises him. Within about a minute he’s being smashed with DECIMATION and it’s all over. One of New Order’s best ever moments in the GWF.
Hunter’s Moon win against Sick Things in a cage match. A very dangerous match for Hunter’s Moon to step into. A brave official stops Draconian Sheik before he enters the cage and insists on searching him. Drac stands bemused as another official shines a torchlight at him to distract. You would not believe the amount of weapons that get removed from under that head dress. An ice pick, a small hammer, a bag of blinding powder and a couple more objects that couldn’t quite be identified. The obsession with searching Drac meant Vyper was able to slip into the cage unnoticed and without being searched. As soon as that cage door shuts Vyper smiles and pulls a metal bar out from within his right trouser leg. Death’s Head looks concerned and reaches back and clutches the cage side. Drac doesn’t understand the gravity of the situation and wildly charges Vyper. Before he gets there Wildcat flies down from the top of the cage and takes him out. What a start. Vyper then goes after Death’s Head and smashes him with the metal bar. Means these two start the match off but after a blow like that Death’s Head is already in a perilous situation. Vyper annihilates him and needs no more than a couple of minutes to beat him after performing VYPER’S SIDESHOW several times. Drac proves a useless partner because having been levelled by Wildcat he gets caught up staring into the crowd. Busy watching all the violence and firebombs going off he pays no attention to what was going on. Hunter’s Moon have won and left the cage before he’s even turned round again.
Lords of Fire are in sizzling form to beat No Fear on their home turf. No better time than now for No Fear to try and start turning this feud around. Archon is getting better with every passing week. Doctors are close to downgrading the seriousness of his injuries from severe to moderate. Of course in Blazing Skull’s own backyard this makes this a very difficult and hostile match for No Fear. The usual assortment of missiles are flying from behind the reinforced glass barriers. Pulsar catches one item and in a bold move throws it high over the barrier and straight back into the crowd. Gets a shock when it explodes and causes screams and shrieks. Maleph reacts to the assault on his own people by flying over and trying to bite Pulsar. He ends getting a blow to the gut and falls pathetically to the ground. No Fear is not taking any nonsense in the early part of the match. Pulsar is ultra aggressive against Bishop Hell but very much having to wrestle on his own. Archon makes very little impression. Inevitably Pulsar’s efforts are in vein and he eventually gets overwhelmed against both members of the Lords of Fire. With things now very much going their way the Lords of Fire begin to totally takeover. Bishop Hell manages to blast Pulsar with HELLFIRE for a second time. Archon desperately breaks his usual protocol to save him from being pinned. Maleph is now recovered and flies across the ring at speed and knocks him off over. It leaves Pulsar with no chance of continuing. The whole Battle Dome lights up as Lords of Fire are proclaimed winners. It doesn’t stop there as Pulsar is then marched semi conscious towards the glass barriers by Blazing Skull. Right in front of the crowd Bishop Hell then launches at him from behind with FLYING CROSS. Pulsar smashes into the glass and crumples into an injured heap (1 card). Where does No Fear go from here?
Pegasus grabs glory against Mandrill. No real heat but seemed a cool match and both guys were at a loose end. Hardly the sort of names anyone would want missing from an event of the magnitude of GALACTICON anyway. Pegasus certainly knew how to get under Mandrill’s skin. Knowing how much not ever having held the Heavyweight belt irritates Mandrill he immediately steps in the ring and gestures wearing the title round his waist. It’s like a red rag to a bull. Mandrill loses composure and charges at him. In a move the Matador would of been proud of Pegasus side steps. Mandrill goes flying past and out the ring in a bad start to proceedings. Ram goes to help Mandrill up but is aggressively pushed away. Mandrill grabs a chair and goes after Pegasus only for Ram to grab hold of it to stop him. Was Ram finally standing up to his cruel master? Turns out it was just a protective measure to prevent a DQ but Mandrill didn’t see it that way at the time. He starts admonishing Ram but Pegasus quickly cuts the rant short by smashing their heads together. Then pitches Mandrill back into the ring. Not long before he goes for PROJECT PEGASUS but Ram manages to get back into Mandrill’s good books by stopping the pin. Trouble is Mandrill doesn’t really take this second chance he has been given. Pegasus keeps on dominating and eventually manages to take victory after Tomahawk Thrust. Mandrill doesn’t take the loss well and uses online media to challenge for a rematch.
Holocaust controversially takes down Raven. Holocaust doesn’t want to become the forgotten man of the Rocketmen. X-Termination have been getting all the plaudits. He enlists their help to try and do a number on Raven before the match. As Raven comes through the curtain on the runway he suddenly gets pulled back. The Brymstonian crowd wonders what the hell is going on. When Raven collapses back through the curtain bloody a few moments later they cheer at the sight of blood. Raven crawls along the runway determined to fulfil the match. Gets about halfway down and Holocaust comes out to give him a helping hand. Throws him into the ring and gets to work (I have added a couple tokens to Raven’s pin rating and allowed Holocaust to start the match on level 2 offense to factor in this unexpected attack). Poor Raven barely musters anything. The lingering effects of the earlier beatdown too much for him to try and overcome. It was notable that Destructon 3000 stayed in the background despite everything that happened. He had not witnessed the attack by X-Termination because there were issues entering the Battle Dome and on Brymstone robotic entities are victims of heavy discrimination. So Raven was very much on his own and easily falls to a powerful Missile Shot within just a few minutes. Heracles wins big against Colussus. Big opener as this classic feud continues. This time it goes the way of Heracles. Colussus has to deal with the unexpected as neither Anaxis or Commando Sam accompany Heracles to ringside. Instead it’s Mesmer. Only fitting I guess as Mesmer has only just faced Colussus himself on the COUNTDOWN show. Colussus cannot contain himself and tried to grapple with Mesmer on the outside but suddenly pauses as if in a trance. Heracles takes immediate advantage. Brutally smashing Colussus into the ring apron before hurling him back inside the ring. Sets a wobbly Colussus up for OLYMPIA. There is no attempt to move out the way. He gets taken out and easily pinned. US. Patriot wants to make a name for himself on the Champions team and tries to attack Heracles for this injustice from behind. Dark Justice may not of been wrestling but it was clear that he was attendance at the behest of Commando Sam. As soon as he sees US. Patriot he heads down the runway and into the action. A wild brawl flares up which really gets the crowd in the mood. When the smoke clears neither side is on top but there is surely more to come on this. Mesmer later laughs when confronted about what he did to Colussus but admits he may of did something “maybe just a little trick l learned many years ago. It was nothing less than Colussus deserved. He should of been wrestling Heracles and not trying to lay his hands on me. I was just acting as an advisor and minding my own business”.

GWF REPORT (SUDDEN DEATH 2103 CARDS 789 –792)
Champions * GWF Galaxian Champ: Chaos (Top Contender: Pegasus) * GWF Tag Champs: Titan Fury (Top Contenders: Pillars of Power) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Terminus (Top Contender: Buck Steele) * GWF Ladies Champ: Supernova (Top Contender: Maxine Babe) Latest News: Krakan is banned from the GWF until the end of year after the distasteful fake shooting incident involving Thunder. Raging back on Aethra. The Gladiators will aim to take their revenge inside the ring and by crushing the Hitmen in SUDDEN DEATH. Without a manager at ringside this could end up weakening the Hitmen. Vengeance acting as spokesperson had this to say of the incident “Krakan made a bad move by trying to humiliate and intimidate the Gladiators. He may think being suspended from ringside means he is safe but he better watch his back every minute of the day. Check every shadow and behind every curtain. He won’t be sleeping easily for a long, long time. Of course Splatter and the Mercenaries will suffer a similar fate but we will administer their punishment in the ring. In front of billions across the cosmos. There is no stopping the new breed of Gladiators. Also a final word of warning to Mayhem. You may not be officially feuding with us and at the moment we have bigger things to deal with. But what you did at GALACTICON is treason in my book. If you are not with us then you are against us. You have been warned”.
After years of silence Fury appears at a GWF dark show and tries to attack Mace. His abilities haven’t improved much and the ring rust doesn’t help as Mace easily fights him off. He then puts Fury in hospital with serious back injuries after MACE’S LITTLE HELPER onto the concrete outside. Rumours that Fury may of been about to join the Rocketmen are quickly dashed as doctors say there is no chance he can wrestle again. Fitting the heel persona Mace has been playing on and off for a few years now he says “I thought we’d said good riddance to that scum years ago. Am not sorry he’s injured, it serves the idiot right. For someone who had his mouth sewn shut for so long Fury sure did a lot a talking. I couldn’t stand him. He was a liability to our team and deserves what I did to him”. The GWF is going back to Pelf Palace for a couple of shows next month. Despite pledging never to go back there again after Colby and Pelf made a mockery of OTB when hosting the event Commissioner Grogan has now relaxed his stance again. He warns the CPC that if they try to influence any of the bookings then the venue will be blacklisted again. Pulsar will be unable to appear at either card due to being banned by Colby and Pelf late last year and going so far as to legally enforce it. Grogan doesn’t like this restriction but respects the wishes and will ensure Pulsar is not scheduled for any matches.
Thantos is ready to put himself back in the firing line. He is close to making a comeback and could appear at ringside again at anytime. This will be a significant moment for No Fear who need every bit of help they can get in their dramatic feud with the Lords of Fire. They will not have the memory of Crossfire mocked by anyone but have been struggling to punish any of their opponents. Archon has tried valiantly to wrestle despite being wrapped in cotton wool. The gamble hasn’t worked. However with his injuries almost healing and now Thantos behind them again things could be about to become very different. FALLOUT FROM GALACTICON … The main event where Chaos defended against the Matador was alarmingly one sided. Reynard B. Guile is worried about what Colby and Pelf think but they didn’t help matters with their hologram stunt. Perhaps they know that deep down because they have gone pretty quiet since and kept low profiles. Janus cannot keep quiet about it though and feels the need to chime in. Claims he wouldn’t of failed and that the CPC should now push him for the title shots. Needs to be careful though as he has burned his bridges with Chaos and doesn’t want to find himself on the wrong side of Magnus Colby. Being a ruthless businessman Colby can be very cruel and nobody is irreplaceable. Not even the Matador who has always been the favoured one on the team ... Mandrill is making repeated challenges to Pegasus as he tries to get revenge for his loss at the event. So far Pegasus is ignoring him as his eyes are on a Heavyweight belt challenge now. A much awaited meeting with Chaos is close at hand. It will be the biggest match in the Champions-Stormtroopers feud so far. Mandrill needs to try and get his attentions back on the feud with Genesis and stop picking fights with other hero groups ... The Lords of Fire sent the locals crazy by beating No Fear again. There was violence and carnage long into the night led by Maleph. No Fear is in a desperate position in this feud. Archon’s bravery is backfiring badly. Things need to change quickly ... The Hitmen grabbed a colossal win against the Gladiators in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match. Mayhem plays a pivotal part as he wins the deciding match up. This could have future implications ... Mandrill taunts Panic Attack that they have blown their chances of facing Animen Uprising. Their failure to beat the Watchmen is his reasoning. Naturally the Genesis team is furious and brands Mandrill a coward who hides behind his own men ... Very mixed bag in the Rocketmen-WAR matches. New Order handed X-Termination a humiliating loss but this was offset somewhat by the controversial attack on Raven at the start of the event ... The match between Heracles and Colussus was wild. Even though Heracles won there is no end to their rivalry. Both Dark Justice and US. Patriot joined the brawl that finished the match. Seeing a good booking angle Commissioner Grogan has decided all four guys face off in tag team action to blow off steam ... Archon wants a match with Thunder after what he did against Lord Nexus on the Countdown show. The disrespect shown to Crossfire’s memory cannot go unpunished ... Also from Countdown the achievement of Titan Fury to at long last capture the tag belts is memorable. Lord Nexus was overcome with emotion. Over the years he has enjoyed success in singles action but his heart has always been in tag wrestling. To guide Titan Fury to the belts is the realisation of a lifelong dream. INJURED – Pulsar (1), Vengeance (2), Archon (9); SUSPENDED – Splatter (2), Krakan (rest of year) WHOSE HOT … Chaos, Mayhem, Bishop Hell, Terminus, Heracles, Pegasus, Holocaust, Janus, Thrash, Maxine Babe, Pillars of Power, New Order, Mercenaries, Hunter’s Moon, Titan Fury WHOSE NOT … Matador, Overkill, Archon, US. Patriot, Mandrill, Raven, Dark Justice, Nefarus, Manslaughter, Ms. Liberty, X-Termination, Coat of Arms, Sick Things, Flamboyance SUDDEN DEATH STANDINGS … Big turnaround in the Hitmen-Gladiator feud. The Hitmen now hold the aces but will the year long suspension of Krakan come back to haunt them? Been a disastrous start for the Masked Assassins. The Titans already disappearing into the distance. No Fear look cooked. They desperately need Thantos back at ringside and Archon to get fully healed up. Savage Kingdom doing well with a wide margin opening up.
Champions-Sam’s Stormtroopers 33-24 Genesis and Wolf-Colonizers of Scorpi 11-19 Gladiators-Hitmen 7-15 No Fear-Lords of Fire 1-14 WAR-Rocketmen 14-14 Fighting Titans-Masked Assassins 25-3 Savage Kingdom-Murderer’s Row 16-5 Flamboyance-Pillars of Power 4-11 Jack of Diamonds-Mad Jester 7-4 WRESTLER OF THE MONTH: Pegasus - putting together an impressive run of victories to force himself back into the spotlight. Has a huge opportunity to win his second Heavyweight belt coming up. Will need to be at his best to take down Chaos. TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH: Titan Fury - lots of teams make their mark but it had to be the Titans. After what has felt a long three years they finally win the tag titles. Their potential has never been doubted but it’s now been realised.

DARK MATCHES #1 … Mimas Spectrum Heracles and Dark Justice overcome Colussus and US. Patriot by DQ. Triggered by what went down at GALACTICON. Scandalous that the blow off ends up being on a dark show (my fault as the dice dictate the booking via the feud table but I already had the televised show slots all booked up for the month). Close match goes the way of Sam’s guys. Heracles had been putting some heavy punishment on US. Patriot. However Adam comes storming back and nearly stuns Heracles with ADAM’S ATOMIC BLAST. When it doesn’t succeed for the pin Adam starts getting uncharacteristically aggressive. Ends up brawling outside and then trying to attack his old mentor Sam which leads to the bell being called. Adam apologises to Omega for his loss of control and knows it does not fit the Champions team mantra to act like that. Omega is understanding and knows emotions are running high. Everyone is having a difficult time trying to accept Commander Sam’s villain turn. Even several months after the event it is still a shocking episode.
Mad Jester picks Jack of Diamonds pocket to win. Early domination from Jack but stumbles as tries to go off the ropes. Jester quickly takes advantage of the good fortune to ensnare him. Exo-King tried to climb in and free Jack but just gets taken off the apron with a Jagged Edge Standing Kick. Jester’s next move is A DEAD MAN’S VERSE and it’s all over. Exo-King picks himself up outside and fumes over what happened. Grabs a hold of his sceptre and uses it to teach Jester a lesson. Jack of Diamonds then drags Jester into the centre of the ring and comes down on him with BLACK DIAMOND several times. The crowd loves that Jester is getting payback and it gets even funnier for them when it seems he is too injured to leave the ring himself. The stretcher comes out and he’s taken away (chuckling away all the while). Although Jack of Diamonds will be happy that Jester got a beating there is no satisfaction to be derived. He still lost the match. Jester injured two cards.
Karah thrills on his way to a surprise win over Cannibal. Again no nerves from Karah. This young man has ice in his veins. He just has Terak with him as Mollock is receiving vaccinations back on Neptune. Cannibal teases that the filthy beast has been put in quarantine after spreading disease, “it should be put down. My team would then love to feast on the bones”. Karah makes him pay those unkind words with a dazzling effort. It leads to an upset victory after BARBARIAN SHUFFLE. Even Karah looks shocked that he won so easily.
Killer Queen overcomes Brainstorm. Not the free flowing match expected. Brainstorm trying to turn into a battle of wits rather than a wrestling contest. Maxine Babe probably hears cheers for the first time ever in the GWF. She comes and tries to shut Brainstorm up by slapping him. Darla rushes in to stop her striking and ruining his good looks. So she gets slapped herself and tumbles through the ropes sobbing. Queenie takes his chance to get control as Brainstorm demands Darla gets up. Nails him with WARP SPEED to take the win.
Genesis Prime blitz Assassin Greatness. More pain for the misfiring Masked Assassins. Vertigo takes Enigma down in just two moves. Counters a belly to belly suplex and then unleashes Wildfire Windmill. Neither Manslaughter and Darkos react to the pin attempt. Probably did not think Enigma was in too much trauma but the move had obviously done more damage than they thought.
Soldier of Fortune beats Overkill by DQ. The trend of violent Gladiator-Hitmen matches continues. Thrash savagely attacked Soldier of Fortune during the bout and it nearly gave Overkill the win. Things then get critical outside the ring as Overkill picks up the infamous rifle the Hitmen carry around. He uses it as a weapon but doesn’t get away it.

DARK MATCHES #2 … Castor Twin Towers US. Patriot is bruised and battered but goes over Heracles by DQ. Little bit brewing here. Adam and Heracles seem to keep crossing paths. Even their respective women are starting a rivalry. Ends in a mess. Adam left lying amid a broken table. Heracles having no interest in wrestling once it becomes clear it’s going to be a difficult match for him. Takes a one-leg karate kick and immediately bails out. Ignoring the instruction of Commander Sam he then drags Adam out with him and commits his act of atrocity. For those worried Adam was about to receive a beating there was relief. Omega and Ms. Liberty (having just wrestled) are close by and come down the runway before things get to grizzly. Heracles and Sam back off. They have no interest in engaging anymore. The latest message had already been sent.
The Enchantresses overcome Feminine Fury by DQ. Why let a little thing like the ladies belt come between great friends? Literally days after they faced off at GALACTICON they are back teaming together. Their friendship now looking stronger than ever. When Supernova spots one despicable fan holding a poster with ‘slag’ scrawled on it she leaps to the defense of her mate. Ripping the poster out of his hands and tearing it up to a loud cheer from the more decent fans. She doesn’t care if she lands a fine for her action. Standing up for Ms. Liberty is more important. Ends up turning into a heated battle. Ms. Liberty not in the best of moods. When she gets her turn in the ring starts getting very aggressive. Got caught in a Grecian Sleeper Grip from which she wriggled free, rolled out the ring and when followed decided to try and nail Anaxis with a chair. Luckily Supernova calms her down but the ref had already made up his mind to call the DQ.
Genesis Prime takes a win over X-Termination by count-out. X-Termination trying to rebuild after an awful month. Johnny Rocket brags they have been knuckling down in the gym to improve even more. Didn’t look like it though. Grunge and Sleeze come out to heavy metal music and carrying beer bottles. Despite the lousy attitudes they dominate early and subject Vertigo to HEADBANGER’S BALL. Wraith breaks up the pin so Grunge grabs his guitar and pursues Wraith around the ring. Suddenly Wraith disappears and as a confused Grunge turns round is met by a vicious clothesline. Wraith crystallises in front of him and hops back up on the ring apron. Despite the protestations of Johnny Rocket the ref continues the count but Grunge never looked like he was going to recover in time.
Thunder pounds on Archon. Lots of stuff going on with Thunder at the moment. Been playing victim and aggressor in recent weeks in part of some controversial storylines. More than happy to meet Archon’s challenge. He hated Centaurus Cluster when they were the darlings of the CPC tag teams last year. Thinks they received special treatment for title shots. It’s very notable that Archon is moving far more free and easy here. Still gets beaten though. Thunder delivering brutal offence and ending Archon’s resistance with THUNDERCLAP.
Pollux defeated Cannibal. Everyone expecting Cannibal to have Pollux for dinner. But instead a huge shock is served up. Pollux wins his first ever match by pin fall after trying PIN USING ROPES twice in a row. Disastrous run of matches for Cannibal. May of happened on a couple dark shows but there’s no way he’s going to able to keep this quiet.
The Creeper beat Brainstorm. Popular win after Brainstorm claims the Creeper is too stupid to beat him. Creeper Grip brings about his downfall. No amount of brain power was going to get Brainstorm out of that.

Card 793 – Luna Auditorium:
(INTRO short and sweet … Qualitar: "Well here we are at the bright lights of the Luna Auditorium. GWF Heroes presents some key matches to get excited about. I for one am ..." Johnny Rocket: "Hang on one minute, who made you the chief caller here? I'm Johnny Rocket. The man who made Galaxian Wrestling the spectator sport it is today. So wait in turn alright." Qualitar: "Okay, okay. I'm just trying to do a job. Let me finish what I was about to say at least. I for one think it's going to be a rowdy evening. With thousands of Earthlings present in the stands it could be a very unwelcoming reception for that disgusting turncoat Commando Sam tonight. It will ..." Johnny Rocket: "Gimme that microphone imbecile. You did not listen to a word I said." Qualitar: “Take your hands off me Rocket. You know we are on a final warning about our conduct on air”. Johnny Rocket: “I don’t care, you’re an idiot. Now let me have it”. And with that Qualitar does let him have it, right across the bridge of the nose. Rocket sees red and goes for Qualitar. Eventually security break up the bickering pair and escort Johnny Rocket away. Rocket, with a bandage across his nose, is later relegated to conducting interviews in the backroom)
Ladies champ, Supernova, makes Maxine Babe look ugly. Thrash being a nosey parker. She awaits the winner to challenge them and decides to get a close up of the action. Standing just far enough back so as not to be noticed. What she sees is Supernova right at the top of her game again. Absolutely dominates Maxine Babe. Maybe with extra incentive to punish for the way Maxine has humiliated her friend, Ms. Liberty. The only thing Maxine Babe could take away was a surprising ability to keep getting up. It’s not until she has six tokens (including being hit with SPEED OF LIGHT) that Supernova finally sees her off with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Then Supernova gets a huge pop as she grabs hold of a bag she has brought to ringside. Inside it is make up remover and she goes to work on Maxine Babe. Stripped off her make up Maxine Babe screams and runs off covering her face. Thrash finds it all very amusing as she runs past. It’s only now that Supernova clocks her presence. They exchange a distant gaze. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words. Another meeting for the belt inevitable now. Supernova will go into having reigned for over a year as champ (up to 45 cards now).
Cage match, Thunder and Star Warrior defeat the Mercenaries. Massive surprise as Thunder and Star Warrior win the match. Despite looking uneasy with each other Star Warrior eventually gets tagged in by Thunder. Finds great success against Soldier of Fortune. Needs four of them in a row but COSMIC BIG BANG takes Soldier of Fortune down. Star Warrior opts to pin him rather than go the escape route. Thunder and Star Warrior soon fall out of love with each other though. Thinking there is a mutual respect and understanding Star Warrior turns his back on Thunder to raise his arms in celebration. Thunder just grabs him from behind and buries his face into the cage side. Aethrans just cannot stand outsiders. Overkill then comes out, enters the cage and tosses Star Warrior out the door and down the runway. The Gladiators then stand alone in the ring and declare all out war on the Hitmen and anyone else that tries to stick their nose into this feud. Superiority Complex dig in to beat Hunter’s Moon by DQ. Sam gets a very frosty reception. Many Americans are in the crowd and make their voices heard. Hunter’s Moon go straight for them. Anxious to build on their GALACTICON success and climb the rankings. Sam’s first action is to demand that Mollock be sent away from ringside but to the delight of the crowd the ref is not having any of it. He threatens Sam with expulsion if he doesn’t stop complaining. Buoyed by this Hunter’s Moon have a right good go at Superiority Complex despite being underdogs. Unfortunately class comes through as Vyper is on the end of THE PERFECT TAG FINISHER. Terak lets Mollock off the leash to break up the pin. Mollock takes it a bit too far lifting Skinhead off of Vyper and throwing him outside the ring. They were never going to get away with that. Heracles triumphs in a tight contest with Janus via DQ. Janus has been in the news quite a bit recently. Wants the CPC to push him more. At the moment feeling that he has been lured under false pretences. He doesn’t look too impressed with his new manager either. Reynard B. Guile seems to be smitten with Anaxis. Although when he gets too close to her she gives him a fat lip which brings much hilarity to the crowd. Pretty decent contest takes place. Janus having a very strong period but fails to put Heracles away with GORDION KNOT. Heracles powers back and finishes much the stronger. Hits OLYMPIA a few times and B. Guile finally wakes up trying distract both Heracles and the ref whilst handing something to Janus. It doesn’t go unnoticed and when the ref searches Janus he finds the weapon, a metal rod, and calls the DQ. The match took it’s toll on Heracles as he limps away afterwards. Alpha Force withstands the mental games of Mesmer to win. The two brothers wrestling solo again this month. Coat of Arms just not been getting it going in 2103. Alpha Force refuses to admit the experiment is failing and says they are still working out the kinks. This match will give him a lift. Having had problems with Mesmer in the past it was essential Alpha Force delivered a victory. It is far from a walk in the park. Mesmer nearly catches him napping with EVIL EYE and also kicks out some Alpha Force’s best moves. However Alpha Force is determined there will be no upset this time around. Launches a strong second wave of offence and takes Mesmer out with TOMAHAWK THRUST.
Thrash rips apart Cassandra. Thrash making another serious assault to get that ladies belt. Another win will surely make her #1 contender. The required win is brutally delivered. It’s a total annihilation. Thrash toys with Cassandra before ending the assault with FEMME FATAL for the second time.

***STARSLAMMERS NEWS*** Star Warrior has issued Heracles a challenge to face him one on one alone at the forthcoming STARSLAMMERS show (#796). He still harbours anger at how Heracles has hurt his sister, Supernova, in the past. He also wants to show that on his own Heracles is a shadow of a man and can be beaten with ease. However the date is doubtful due to a leg injury that Heracles has at the moment following a match with Janus. But the response was swift because in a shocking and potentially lethal situation yesterday Heracles, on crutches, turned up at Star Warrior's training gym on Cetus flanked by Mesmer. Fellow users fled fearing a catastrophic scene and security was alerted, everyone expected Heracles to try and nail Star Warrior with his crutch but nothing happened. Heracles merely hobbled up to Star Warrior and after staring into the hero's eyes for 30 seconds accepted the challenge so long as his leg was fully recovered. In an instant Mesmer produced a contract from under his cloak and Star Warrior signed the match, then just as suddenly as they appeared Heracles and Mesmer cut an opening with the crutch through the gathering that had now built up and left. Star Warrior looked on somewhat bemused by the happenings. Mind games perhaps on Mesmer's part? Nobody knew … TWO DAYS LATER FULL STORY COMES OUT … Suddenly Star Warrior found himself having to honour a match stipulating that both Mesmer and Commando Sam be allowed to accompany Heracles to ringside while Star Warrior would be forced to wrestle with no assistance at STARSLAMMERS. Had he in the heat of the moment on Cetus missed the fine print of the contract? Or was it another case of black magic from Mesmer by adding details after the contract was signed? There was no case against Mesmer and Heracles because the contract upon scrutinisation from none other than Commisioner Grogan himself showed no indications of being altered in any way. Star Warrior is now trapped in potentially epic match with Heracles should the Cretian be fully fit and the odds will be stacked heavily against him. But under GWF rules he must honour the commitment. The mind games of Mesmer and the Stormtroopers just seem to have the edge on the Champions of the Galaxy at the moment. Lets hope Star Warrior can avenge this twisted plot, maybe it's time Avenging Warrior appeared again!

Card 794 – Pelf Palace:
(Colby and Pelf try to get all managers banned from ringside for tonight’s show apart from themselves and Reynard B. Guile of course. Their attempts to meddle fail as Commissioner Grogan stands up to them. He threatens to cancel the show at short notice and make them foot the cost of refunds to ticket holders and tv executives. Being the misers that they are Colby and Pelf quickly back down from their proposal and claim it was just a joke)
Buck Steele stuns Terminus to capture the IP belt. Big moment as Buck earns the right to win his first belt. Reynard B. Guile is back at ringside. Colby and Pelf want to keep hold of this belt and probably realise he is a better manager despite the recent troubles. Of course Reynard isn’t too excited about coming out for this. He is bricking it over the possible appearance of Genocide. Buck makes an amazing start. Rocks Terminus early and nails ROPE-A-DOPE FLURRY twice in the first few minutes. Terminus didn’t expect this. Terminus seems to get away with surviving the early onslaught and manages to get on top. Reynard looks more relieved at ringside and now expects Terminus to close out the win and keep hold of the belt. Then out of nowhere Buck executes a sunset flip off the ropes. Terminus is totally caught out and gets pinned. Buck wins the belt without the appearance of Genocide. What a place to do it. This will not go down well with Magnus Colby and Sonora Pelf. A quick look towards the VIP gallery sees a crimson Colby pick up a champagne glass and throw it against a wall. He then gets up and storms off swatting a serving tray being held by a servant onto the floor. Terminus doesn’t waste anytime trying put this right. Just hours after the loss of the belt he is demanding the chance to win his belt back. He claims Buck was lucky and caught him on an off day and there is no chance of him repeating the victory.
Chaos strolls to victory over Max Shield in a non title match. Chaos has been steamrolling everybody in his path but much is being made of Max’s past record against him. He has beaten Chaos before. Can he do it again? Immediate stardom awaits if he does. Of course Chaos is so arrogant he doesn’t believe that can happen. He even tells Commando Sam not to bother managing him from ringside. In a bragging interview with Qualitar he says “I don’t need any help. The belt isn’t on the line and I can beat this weakling with one arm tied behind my back. I’ll still crush his ribs”. Sadly for most of watching cosmos, who would of been hoping Max would ram those words back down his throat, Chaos backs up his bragging. Grabs almost instant control of the match and after almost taking Max’s head off with a clothesline then uses Hyperdrive to finish him off. Chaos barely broke a sweat.
The Matador and Janus make mugs off Superiority Complex. The red carpets are out for the CPC stars. That can mean only one thing. Magnus Colby and Sonora Pelf are coming out. They insist on taking centre stage and instruct Reynard B. Guile to stay in the background whilst they come to ringside. Sonora Pelf is wearing an incredible dress encrusted with expensive diamonds. Magnus Colby rumoured to of paired them together so he can see who should be pushed more for the Heavyweight belt. The favoured guy will then have backing to work his way up the greasy pole towards a title shot. The test in front of them is huge as they go against one of the greatest tag teams of all time, Superiority Complex. However they make a mockery of the old saying two superstar singles wrestlers cannot beat a top ranking team. The Matador and Janus are falling over themselves to try and impress Colby and Pelf. It serves to drive them on to an incredible performance. Janus is the one that gets the plaudits though as he catches Prodigy in GORDION KNOT. Commando Sam tries to stop the move but the Matador shows deep down he is a team player by cutting him off. It allows Janus to complete the win. Hunter’s Moon and Karah win a chaotic battle over Sick Things and Cycle Hog by DQ. After the bloodshed and savagery of GALACTICON it was going to be difficult to top it. Throwing Karah and Cycle Hog into the mix for 6 man tag action might just do it. Outside Mollock is all fed and watered and raring to go too. Funny how Cannibal never objects to its presence. In fact he looks pretty sheepish as rumour of a recent loss to Pollux spreads through the crowd like wildfire. Vyper makes plenty of noise pre match as he says Cannibal’s team will be punished tonight as payback for all their recent scaremongering with CANNIBAL’S RUN. The Savage Kingdom show excellent chemistry at first. Slick tags and clever double teaming. Vyper nearly got Drac with VYPER’S SIDESHOW. But after a while they start to wilt. Wildcat gets brutalised and although he gets out of the line of fire the battering just continues on Karah. The poor youngster got flattened with HEAVY LOAD and only survives thanks to Mollock stepping onto the apron and frightening Cycle Hog. In the end it descends into DQ chaos. Not surprising given all the unpredictable characters in and around the ring. Death’s Head was the guilty party. Tossing Karah outside the ring and then thinking it’d be funny to pick up one of his decorative skulls and smashing it on his head. Pegasus finds little resistance in beating Thunder. After the way Thunder treated Star Warrior (who was only trying to help him) other members of the Champions team are not shy about challenging him. Reports that a planned attack by Splatter on Thunder didn’t happen as he got disturbed on route. As for the match it’s a pretty routine one for Pegasus. Deals with the brief attacks of Thunder and works hard to win after PROJECT PEGASUS. On #796 he will be against Chaos and it’s for the belt. Going to be immense as both are in incredible form and taking turns to crush anyone they face. Someone’s winning run is going to come to an end but it’d take a brave betting man to call it.
Vertigo pinned Mutant. Smooth sailing for Vertigo. His dizzying moves just leave Mutant confused and disoriented. Only needs a few minutes to pin it following MOTION SICKNESS.
