Super Toy Con

Me and Toasterboy are going to this on Sunday at the Orleans Arena. WWE Mattel is going to be there releasing their new line of action figures and the event has a good wrestling presence (guests include WWE wrestlers such as John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and the Bellas,) other wrestlers too such as Kurt Angle and the Godfather (at least he was originally advertised- I'm not sure if he is still going to be there,) and FSW is sponsoring it with matches during all 3 days of the convention.

Super Toy Con returns to Las Vegas August 5-7, 2016. Now the largest diecast, toy, comic and pop culture convention in Las Vegas, the 3-day extravaganza is being relocated to the Orleans Arena. This state-of-the-art venue is three times the size of our previous show, allowing for more entertainment and content to be added, but most importantly more space for the 10,000+ attending collectors to take in and experience all that the Super Toy Con has to offer.

Definitely the weekend for conventions, Gen Con is this weekend as well.

I went to Super Toy Con at the Orleans yesterday and met up with Toasterboy. They had alot of cool vendors (although I didn't see WWE Mattel and they were originally advertised) and I would have spent more money if I wasn't trying to save for 3 nights of BOLA in California next month. One thing I did get was a photo op with David Prowse (Darth Vader.) They also had some cool vehicles there including the original Ghostbusters car, the Back to the Future car, and the A Team van. We also saw some parts of some FSW matches yesterday.

One thing that surprised me was the prices for some of the original Star Wars action figures. Some of them were selling for hundreds of dollars even if they weren't in good condition.

I had a good time and it was great to see Toasterboy once again. I'll definitely go back next year.

It was a lot of fun hanging with Vegas at Super Toy Con. Not as big as I thought it was going to be, but that was great because you could see everything easily. Saw a few CWFH guys who were there wrestling for FSW and Vegas and I had some laughs watching FSW's kid's wrestling class for ages 5 and up. While amusing, to me it looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen! Great fun.
