WIWF Card # 1 Results - Part 1 of 2
1. Gorgeous George With Cherie Dupre vs Commander Sam.
George and his valet were definitely a well oiled cheating machine. While George distracted the ref, Dupre would Lepus Stun Rod Sam, bringing him suddenly to the canvas. After watching Dupre do this on two occasions to Sam from the locker rooms screen, Stars and Stripes valet and Sam's close friend Latasha stormed ringside. With little to no trouble, she made that problem go away, all the way to the locker room. But the Stun Rod damage had been done, Sam was able to kick out of the Small Package With Tights, twice, but tapped out to Gorgeous Georges Gorgeous Grip Sleeperhold. (Georges rating +30, Sams rating -30).
2. Mil Mascaras vs Iron Hand.
Inside the ring, this one was all Mil Mascaras. And Iron Hand knew it and knew he was going to lose unless he turned the tide before Mil took it to the next level. So he took Mil out of the ring and just simply outbrawled him. Making great use of his Iron Arm Clothesline, he softened up Mascaras long enough to hit a perfect Martial Law, a Standing Shooting Star press for the three count. (Iron Hands rating +30, Mil Mascaras -30).
3. Elina vs Jazz.
Elina made a statement to the women's division with this match, that she is a force to be reckoned with. She Trinity Speared Jazz senseless, and promptly finished her off with her finisher Resurrection, a running missle dropkick off the top rope. She pinned Jazz inside of 2 minutes. (Elinas rating +38, Jazz rating -38).
4. The Immortals Sur and Bex with Ghena vs Jimmy Snuka and Andre the Giant with Lou Albano.
This match had approximately ten near falls. The superior tag teaming skills of The Immortals were overpowering Snuka and Andre. Bex for a while seemed to have Andres number, but eventually, Andre was too much for Sur and Bex to deal with. When Andre had Bex in a brutal bearhug, thats when the tide took the final turn. Ghena stormed the ring to interfere prompting Andre to simply drop Bex, grab Ghena and toss him thru the ropes and into an Albano chair shot that layed him out. As soon as Bex made it to his feet, Andre ended the match with a Head Butt that the fans talked about for the rest of the night. Andre pinned Bex for the victory. (Snuka and Andre rating +52, Sur and Bex -52).
5. Sly Drury with Zaratticus vs Bryan Danielson with Mr. Fuji.
Drurys endurance and Danielsons offense was what the specific battle was in this match. Mix in a somewhat effective Zaratticus and a viscious counter by Mr Fuji and this match became a long war of attrition. Danielson outmoved Drury perpetually, but he couldn't finish it. The turning point came when Danielson had Drury covered for a 2 & 1/2 count. Zaratticus looked as if he was casting a spell of some sort towards Danielson. It prevented Danielson from sustaining the cover, and Drury kicked out yet again. Zaratticus then dropped his staff and dropped to his knees, grabbing his face. Fuji had hit him from behind and right between the eyes with what some said was half a pound of salt. Danielsons Mixed Martial Arts Elbow smashes then completely obliterated Drury and Danielson hooked the leg for the three count. (Danielsons rating +20, Drurys rating -20).
6. Latasha vs Carmilla - Baroness of Blood.
An all out war, inside and outside the ring. A long match full of many near falls and chair shots on both sides. Carmilla couldn't figure it out, she was faster and stronger than her opponent. Latasha's resiliency was simply off the charts. Carmilla knew what she had to do. WIWF referee Snafu was a good referee, fair and just and knew he had to strike a balance between to restrictive and too much willful blindness. But he didn't catch how Carmilla finally was able to make Latasha tap out. Snafu thought it was a very good Sleeperhold that did it. And it was, but as Carmilla seemed to apply the pressure from behind and bring her own head down behind Latashas head for added leverage, Carmilla had sunk her fangs into the back of Latashas neck and was draining her at the same time. (Carmillas rating +24, Latashas -24).
7. Solar Flair with Magnus Colby? vs Dusty Rhodes.
As Andre the Giant was preparing to leave the extensive locker rooms backstage, he heard some sort of commotion coming from an adjacent area to his. It sounded like someone was really getting hurt. Andre eventually found a locker room that was completely darkened. When he found the lights and turned them on, he found Dusty Rhodes lying on the ground, grabbing his very bruised lower back. As he helped Rhodes to his feet, he noticed on the floor next to him, a dented, gold colored steel briefcase. Rhodes thanked Andre and despite Andres warnings, made his way to the ring, and Solar Flair only. Rhodes was furious, but in agony. It didn't take long for Solar Flair to pin Dusty. An Atomic Drop was all it took. (Flairs rating +40, Rhodes rating -40).
8. Bigfoot with Vin Strutter vs Endgame.
The croud was very anti Bigfoot. Endgame had won over the WIWF fans during his first match in the fed and he appreciated it tremendously. Bigfoot was booed, hissed at and the fans threw everything from food to soda and even some beer at him. For the first time, he didn't look like a monster, he looked scared and like a creature without a home. Strutter poked and prodded him as though he was an animal in a zoo. And to a certain extent, he was. Bigfoots Temple Punches and Skull Crashing Hammer Fists enabled him to score 2 counts against Endgame. Endgames Shining Wizard and Michinoku Driver enabled the same against Bigfoot. Jim Solie and Gorilla Ventura were trying to lip read what Endgame was attempting to say to Bigfoot during the match as he simultaneously pointed at an increasingly furious Vin Strutter. Bigfoot then paused and for a moment it seemed as though he was starting to listen to Endgame. Thats when the match turned in an unanticipated direction. Strutter reached through the ropes and shocked Bigfoot with some sort of high powered Stun Rod. Bigfoot completely snapped, overwhelmed on many levels, by the fans animosity, his cruel trainer Strutter and his increasing feeling of loss, he ragdolled and beat Endgame on an unholy level. Bigfoots savage finisher The Abduction, completly rocked Endgame. An undercard wrestler or jobber wouldn't have been able to handle this attack. Career ending, or worse. Bigfoot pinned a battered and bloody Endgame. But actually looked confused doing so. As Strutter shocked Bigfoot back up the ramp to the locker rooms through a barrage of hatred, he suddenly stopped. A little girl there with her brother and father at the side of the barrier by the ramp had tried to get Bigfoots attention and succeeded. She threw him a brown teddy bear of sorts towards him and yelled something to him. He picked it up and stared at the girl, confused. Strutter came up from behind and tried to take it from him. Bigfoot backhanded Strutter so hard he wound up in the hospital wing. When Endgame eventually made his way up the ramp, he came over to the little girl and put up a fist for a fist bump, which she happily did with Endgame. (Bigfoots rating +32, Endgames -32).
