...You have a match that is just a midcard match with nothing really on the line, that you have not much interest in and then it drags and drags and drags. I just had one with Titan Express and Eastern Dynasty. It seemed like almost every roll was a 1-3 and/or a chart. It happens to me once every couple of weeks (real time) where I find myself slamming the dice on the table (usuually when I have about 10 charts in a row), going just finish the bleeping match already!!!
BTW - This thread is not entirely for people to agree or disagree with me (feel free to do so though), but to answer the Don't you hate it when with one of your own.

Yeah...
some of those Beast-Rider vs. Vanity matches never ended. Those Creeper vs. Mutant matches could get bad. And never, and I mean never. I mean you'll question your sanity if you do this. Never use Man-Mountain vs. 2090 Brute.

I had a bootleg match last night, a triple threat match where I roll on a chart to switch fighters. I roll on the chart when a (tag) is rolled, either the current fighters continue on or the third guy gets involved and attacks one of the other guys. Problem was, the guys I used didn't have very many (tags) so the match consisted of long stretches of the same guys fighting. Luckily I roll on the chart after every PIN too or it would have been a nightmare. After a while I decided to roll on the triple threat chart on (lv) as well and the match finally ended. The problems with this match had to do with my chart though, not necessarily the characters (bootleg versions of Big Bully Busick, Buck Zumhoffe, and Bullet Bob Armstrong, please don't ask why that combination.... Armstrong won by the way). So to make a long story short, I hate having to modify a chart in the middle of a match to get the match moving again Just noticed that this thread is in the GWF section as well. Don't you hate when somebody posts about bootlegs in a GWF thread?

Yeah, triple threat matches are definitely ones that can drive me nuts and seem to go on forever. Probably why I don't run many any more.

I like triple threats because if I really want a champion to lose, I refuse to do it for the Galaxian Title though, it's a surefire way to get the belt off of them.

Triple threats are fun,but I can also relate. And in the vein of this thread, I ran a match between Billy Jo boxer and the Overlord. Took ages to finish!

Exo-King vs. Cycle Hog was the match up that first came to mind for me. Man those where some long matches!!! I hated playing them as they weren't really part of my main storyline, and neither one really could ever get anywhere in the rankings. Try a Man-Mountain v. the Classics Dark Star Creature if you really feel like torturing yourself. Rahl

Three words: time limit draw.
Also, on a related note: never, ever, ever book Cyclopes in a singles match.
