I am going to preorder the newest cards and I may catch up on a few of the ones I missed. The artwork on the cards is an important deciding factor. Does anyone know who did the art for, or can anyone give me a fair and honest critique of, the following cards:
April Hunter JD Michaels Naptown Dragons

Werner did the art for all four.
April is the best of the bunch, but I haven't personally seen a "bad" piece by Werner in quite some time.

While I like all 4, April Hunter is one of my favorite drawings...period

April's card looks great. The other 3 are decent but not great. I wouldn't pass any of them up if I were you.
I would recommend Eddie Fyne & Sam Hayne as well.

You cannot go wrong with Werner at the helm when it comes to the art department. So get them all since your fed will be happy you did as well.
Werner did a magnificent job on these cards.

Werner has done some great artwork for me and his art for Filsinger Games has been top notch, April Hunter is the best out of the bunch for sure but overall his art is excellent!

Thanks again, gentelmen. I went ahead and ordered all of them.
The April Hunter one was the one I was most unsure about. A lot of artists don't know how to draw attractive women. Since I found out it was drawn by Werner, and I've seen the art in his blog, I have no doubt it's as good as you say.

and we all sit, wondering what that inflating noise is as Werner's head grows larger...hahaha. I agree though. I still haven't seen any bad Werner art. I thought his stuff on COTG Early Classics was incredibly good, and somehow his work has only gotten better since then.
